Test method for Motor/controller for Electric Vehicle (전기자동차용 전동기/제어기의 시험 방법)

  • Test procedure for Electric Vehicle(EV) motor/controller has been developed. Most of existing standards mainly focus on minimum requirements for safe operation. However, detailed test procedures are not covered in the standard. In order to develop test items, methods and procedures which should be strictly applied to EV motor and controller, existing standards have been reviewed by the expert group in Korea. Based on their feedback, standard test procedure was proposed. Test procedure especially for combined motor and controller has been proposed. As a load lot the tested motor, M-G set, eddy current type engine dynamo and AC dynamo were used. Test procedures for the driving cycle test and regeneration test were proposed.

  • In this study, advanced computational technique for mechatronic analysis has been developed for the efficient design and test of typical machine tool models. Flexible multi-body dynamic (FMBD) analysis method combined with motion controller including control logics is used to simulate typical operation conditions. The present FMBD machine tool model is composed of flexible column structure, rigid body spindle, vertical motion guide (arm) and screw elements. Driving motor clement with rotating degree-of-freedom is interconnected and governed by the designed Matlab Simulink control logic, and then the position of the spindle is feedback into the control logic. It is practically shown from the results that the investigation of designed machine tools with controller can be effectively conducted and verified.

A Study on Minimum Time Position Control of DC Servo-Motor (DC Servo Motor의 최단시간 위치 제어)

  • Analog PID controllers have been designed to make good use of position control in industries. Recently, the importance of digital position control is emphasized for the requirements of controller which are not only to control the objects but to include various aspects such as easiness of design and implementation, simple exchange of control program and convenient communications of data between various controllers and a host computer. This study proposes a combined control method which is mixed the vaiable structure control (VSC) with the PI control for minimum time position control of DC servo motor by microcomputer. The results of test by this method show offset-free and minimum time optimal position control which is not affected by the disturbance and the system parameter variations. The validity of the proposed method comparing with the conventional PID control is proved by the response experiments.

A Study on PWM Speed Controller for Long line Fishing Motor (어로 작업용 연승기 전동기의 PWM 속도제어기에 관한 연구)

  • The long line fishing machine is combined with motor and two disc rollers has used on the small size fishing-boat under 1 ton located in near Jeollanam-do seaside. The long line fishing motor is controlled only one direction because the fishing line is loaded heavily at pulling up. On this paper we made the long line fishing 400W power motor controller which it was usually applied under 1 ton fishing boat, and designed the controller using PWM chip, Half bridge driver and MOSFET for one direction motor control. Furthermore some user convenience devices were added like battery indicator and safety protection circuit for battery overdischarge and battery source wire mismatch connection. So we protected the battery from overdicharging when the battery voltage was below 11.5V and fishermen didn't need to worry about source lines misconnection anymore. We confirmed the test version of controller was the good working condition at land and sea.
