Piezoelectric energy harvesting uses piezoelectric, which is able to convert unused mechanical vibration energy to electrical energy, such as with motor and machinery. The piezoelectric energy harvester was constructed with a cantilever made of lead zirconate titanate with a metal plate. The primary material was soft lead zirconium titanate (PZT-5H) due to the large strain availability, acceptable mechanical strength and high piezoelectric constant. This technique's drawback is that the energy efficiency is lower than the other energy harvesting methods, but this study increases the output electric power efficiency by analyzing a finite element method for the structure of the piezoelectric energy harvester. We manufactured two cantilever types as follows: the L-60 and L-33 bimorph piezoelectric energy harvesters. Their resulting energy harvesters were able to obtain high voltage values as follows: 27.4 mV and 40.6 mV. Moreover, these results have a similar band of resonance frequency it comparison to the simulation. Consequently, this study was confirmed with validity. The output electric powers of the L-60 and L-33 types have 3.1 mW/s and 5.8 mW/s with 47 Hz and 148 Hz of resonance frequency and then, the load resistivities were $100k\Omega$ and $10k\Omega$, respectively.

The reducer of the mixer is one of the main parts of the processor used for water and wastewater treatment. In this study, an advanced reducer with a drywell structure was developed in order to prevent oil leakage during operation in the field. During the development of the advanced reducer prototype, a mockup, a metal mold, and a cast were made using CAD and a CNC machine. The structural safety of the reducer prototype's lower housing (drywell structure) was checked using the ALGOR commercial FEM analysis code, which yielded a von Mises stress of about 123 N/mm2, which is below the yield stress of 250 N/$mm^2$, and a natural frequency of about 650-700 Hz. In addition, the torque transmission efficiency for the advanced prototype was 95.87%, which is about 8% more than that found in a previous study, 88.45%, and the sound level was below 75 dB. Furthermore, no oil leakage or abnormal sound or vibration occurred. Therefore, an optimally designed advanced reducer prototype has been successfully developed.
This study was performed with 5 subjects and used three kinds of music and vibroacoustic stimuli wave based upon each kinds of music. Executing music stimulation, vibro tactile and acoustic wave stimulation to human body were performed. Then measured brain waves were analyzed under each condition including before stimulation, stimulation 1, and stimulation 2. Effects by stimulation results could be studied with experiments and summarized results are followings. 1. It may be concluded that effects on brain waves by music and vibroacoustic stimulation might differ under different situations such as stimulation types with vibroacoustic equipment, human body and mental conditions when measuring, etc.. 2. During stimuli by using music A, B, and C, the effect of $\alpha$ wave, $\beta$ wave, and SMR wave power values show same tendency to the subject c but music C had very different tendency during vibroacoustic stimuli. 3. During vibroacoustic stimuli by applying the signals of music C, because SMR wave power value was continually increased with consistency comparing to Bst, this can be estimated that an application of inducing mind concentration condition would be possible under relaxed body and mind conditions. 4. To secure data significance, all measured data need to be tested statistically whether data would be interrelated or not.
Recently, big data is rapidly emerging as a core technology in the 4th industrial revolution. Further, the utilization and the demand of drones are continuously increasing with the development of the 4th industrial revolution. However, as the drones usage increases, the risk of drones falling increases. Drones always have a risk of being able to fall easily even with small problems due to its simple structure. In this paper, in order to predict the risk of drone fall and to prevent the fall, ESC (Electronic Speed Control) is attached integrally with the drone's driving motor and the acceleration sensor is stored to collect the vibration data in real time. By processing and monitoring the data in real time and analyzing the data through big data obtained in such a situation using a Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) algorithm, we proposed a prediction system that minimizes the risk of drone fall by analyzing big data collected from drones.

The contribution analysis of various external aeroacoustic noise sources to interior noise is important, enabling to design an automobile with a low interior noise level. With a new technique, the CD (Cholesky Decomposition), it is proposed to decompose an overall interior noise spectrum into multiple spectra, each representing the contribution of a specific noise source to the interior noise. In order to validate this method, three kinds of experiments were conducted. Furthermore, it is proposed to improve the CD-based contribution analysis method to be integrated with existing exterior microphone arrays in the wind tunnel. This method was validated with an experiment with two speakers.
Various studies have been conducted to improve the BSR (Buzz, Squeak, Rattle) noise generated irregularly while the vehicle is running. In vehicle, When an external force such as vibration or force flows into the contact surface, BSR noise is generated at the contact surfaces of nearby components. In this paper, BSR conceptually explain the kind of noise generation mechanisms and the basic principles of generation, which have been proven by observing and improving noise phenomena in automobiles over the last 10 years. Through this, it is expected that researchers who want to study BSR related improvement research not only in automobiles but also in other industries, It will be able to understand the BSR phenomenon and provide a framework for thinking out improvement ideas and to carry out further research.

There are many unbalanced models such as helicopter's rotor blades, small-sized precision motor in industrial applications. In the real products, their gravity center usually does not accord with the desired gravity center. If the deviation is large between them, it can be a major cause of vibration and noise as the part of model rotate. Therefore the gravity center in the rotational parts should be controlled properly because of static and dynamic balancing of the parts. In the research, the rotor blade of unmanned helicopter has been selected to obtain the high quality of balancing. In order to achieve the purpose, measuring system has been developed. In the system applied principle is three point weighting method, which is one of the Multiple-point Weighting Method. It has circle fitting for compensation of machining error, after measuring the values. From this study, the results showed that the proposed measurement procedure gives reliable and precise gravity center.

A commonly analytical estimation of fatigue life on rubber components is using fatigue life equation based on various fatigue test results. However, such method has very restricted applicability in actual designing processes because performing fatigue tests requires a lot of time and money. In addition, non-standard rubber materials and their randomness make it hard to make databases. In this paper, the other fatigue life estimation method using tearing energy was suggested. We performed static and dynamic tearing test about automotive vibration rubber materials and a finite element formulation using a virtual crack to calculate the tearing energy of rubber components with complicated shapes. To using the suggested method, fatigue life of an automotive motor mount has been estimated and verified the reliability of this method by using comparison between the estimated values and the actual fatigue life.
In the Part I has been reported a rotordynamic analysis of the driving motor-bull gear rotor-bearing system of a turbo-chiller. In this study, Part II, a rotordynamic analysis is performed with the turbo-chiller compressor pinion-impeller rotor system supported on two fluid film bearings. The pinion-impeller rotor system is driven to a rated speed of 14,600 rpm through a speed-increasing pinion-bull gear. It is modeled utilizing the finite element method for analysis. As loadings on the bearings due to the gear action are significant in the system considered, each resultant bearing load is calculated statically by considering the generalized forces of the gear action as well as the rotor itself. The two support bearings, the generalized forces of the gear action as well as the rotor itself. The two support bearings, partial and 3-axial groove bearings, are designed to take their varying loads along with their varying load angles, and they are also analyzed to give their rotordynamic coefficients. Then, a complex rotordynamic analysis of the compressor pinion-impeller rotor-bearing system is carried out to evaluate its stability, whirl natural frequencies and mode shapes, and unbalance responses under various loading conditions. Results show that the bearings and entire rotor system are well designed regardless of operating conditions, i.e., loads and operating speeds.
In this study an automatic soil hardness measuring system mountable on agricultural tractors was developed to improve the accuracy of manual soil hardness testers by a constant penetrating rate, right direction of the cone-penetrometer and the isolation of vibration from the operator. This was necessary to supply similar experimental condition for performance test of new model and comparative experiment. The results of the study are summaried as follows; 1. The system consisted of a sensing part of soil hardness, a driving part of the measuring system and an attaching part between the tractor and the measuring system. 2. The allowable limit value of the system developed was set to 392N to protect from breaking the serve motor and the coupling used in this system. 3. The driving shaft penetrated into soil by 0.3m to measure soil hardness. The soil hardness was measured at the depth of 0.3m from the soil surface but the penetrating work was stopped and the driving shaft was pulled out to protect the system when the value of the soil hardness was too big on foreign substances like stones or straws. 4. Two values measured by automatic measuring system developed in this research and manual penetrometer were compared by statistics hypothesis testing method. When two people measured the soil hardness at the depth of 0.1 and 0.15m by manual cone penetrometer, there was no relationship between two values by two people but the values at the same depths by automatic measuring system developed showed similarity. The automatic system, therefore, developed in this research was proper for measuring soil hardness.
