분리 축 가스 터빈 엔진의 동역학적 천이 효과를 고려한 성능 해석 및 부하 인가 시험에 관한 연구 (A Study on Power loading Experiment & Performance Analysis for Dynamic Transient Effect of a Turbo-shaft Engine with Free Power Turbine)

  • 본 연구에서 동력 전달 시스템은 분리 축 방식의 가스 터빈 엔진의 축 동력을 발전기 전력으로 변환하여, 이것을 프로펠러를 구동하는 추력 모터에 공급하는 방식으로 구성되어있다. 여기에 사용된 가스 터빈 엔진은 엔진 축 마력 317shp(236kw)을 약110kw (147shp)으로 플랫 레이팅(flat rating) 하여 운용한다. 본 시험 장치의 엔진은 가스 터빈엔진 출력축과 발전기 사이에 부하 변화 시 댐핑(damping)역할을 할 수 있도록 플라이 휠(flywheel)을 장착하였다. 이 때 플라이휠의 적절한 관성 모멘트가 고려되지 않으면, 발전기와 모터는 부하 상승에 의한 엔진으로부터 요구되는 출력을 얻을 수 없으며, 또한 엔진이 정상적으로 작동하지 않음을 확인할 수 있다. 따라서 제공된 엔진 데이터와 엔진 시험 데이터로부터 동역학적인 천이 효과에 의한 성능 분석을 함으로써 관성 모멘트의 요구 범위를 결정하였다. 재설계한 플라이휠을 장착 시험한 결과, 본 시스템에서 요구한 출력을 얻을 수 있었다.

  • The important problem in high speed spindles is to reduce and minimize the thermal effect by motor and bail bearings. Thermal characteristics according to the bearing pre-load and cooling condition are studied for the test spindl with grease lubrication and high frequency motor. Bearing and motor we main heat generation, and heat generation by ball bearings as a function of load, viscosity and gyroscopic moment effect are considered. Temperature distribution and thermal displacement according to the speed of spindle are measured by thermocouple and gap sensor. The results show that the fitting pre-load and cooling temperature are very effective to minimize the thermal effect by motor an ball bearings.

Temperature distribution and thermal displacement according to the speed of spindle are measured by thermocouple and gap sensor.   • This paper studied about the measurement method of the instantaneous dynamic load characteristics. this experimental study, we derived the instantaneous washing load characteristics and inertial moment characteristics according to the amount of laundry and water level. Also, this studied about the dynamic driving characteristics simulation method for the prediction of washing performance based on this load characteristics analysis. For this study, the design parameters of the driving motor are obtained by FEM analysis and the experiment. By using theses motor parameters and load characteristics, the instantaneous driving characteristics simulation is accomplished and it is verified with the experimental result of various driving conditions. The results of this paper would be very useful to the prediction of washing mode operation characteristics, and it can be also utilized to the washer motor control algorithm design for the washing performance improvement.

  • The objective of this study is to develop an automatic object changer unit to improve processing problems existed in the conventional horizontal machining center. To achieve this goal, this study designed a horizontal transfer as the second project continued to the first project that designed a upward and downward traverse unit. A horizontal traverse unit shows a symmetric structure and consists of frame, which consists of four unit tools, motor and reducer, which are fixed at a frame, operation unit with pinions, first traverse unit, and second traverse unit. Constraint conditions based on the operation mechanism with these elements were configured and obtained following results after modeling a model for a traverse motor. In the kinematic expression of sliding motion with one degree of freedom, the sliding motion is constrained. Also, the rack 3 installed at a frame is used to configure possible kinematic constraint conditions of the rack 2 according to the rolling motion of the pinion 2 in the first traverse unit. In addition, the moment of inertia that is a type of kinetic energy in a converted horizontal traverse unit in the side of the reducer can be applied to introduce the moment of inertia of a converted horizontal traverse unit in the side of the reducer by using the sum of kinetic energy in the rack and pinion, which is a part of the horizontal traverse unit. Also, the equation of motion of the converted upward and downward traverse unit in the side of the motor using the equation of motion of the motor. Furthermore, the horizontal traverse unit predetermines the mass of the first and second traverse unit and applied load including the radius and reduction ratio of the pitch circle in the pinion 1 and applied load to the rack 2. Then, a proper motor can be determined using several parameters in the upward and downward traverse unit in order to verify such predetermined specifications. In future studies later this study, a simulation that verifies the results of the previous two stages of studies using a finite element method.

인휠 구동 트레일링 암 형식 차량의 제자리 회전 조향 제어 연구 (A Study on the Pivot Steering Control of an In-Wheel Drive Vehicle with Trailing Arm Suspensions)

  • The pivot steering of an individual wheel motor drive vehicle is an effective steering maneuver in the narrow road, but it has become a matter of concern that the torque input of each wheel is very difficult to determine. In this study, the independent yaw moment control was proposed for the smooth pivot steering control of an in-wheel drive vehicle. For this control method, the vertical forces of tires were estimated from the trailing arm dynamic model, and the yaw moments of individual wheels were calculated from the vehicle dynamic model. Dynamic simulation results showed that the independent yaw moment control was much more effective on the minimization of the instabilities of pivot steering in comparison with the conventional direct yaw moment control with yaw rate feedback.

  • 종래의 터보기기는 회전자의 높은 회전속도를 얻기 위하여 증속기어를 사용하였으나 근래에는 초고속 전동기를 적용하여 기계적인 효율 및 시스템의 소형차에 관한 연구가 활발히 진행중이다. 본 논문은 직접구동방식의 터보 압축기를 위한 초고속 영구자석 동기전동기 구동시스템에 관한 논문으로서 150마력 70,000rpm 영구자석 동기전동기 구동시스템을 개발하여 상품에 적용하였다.

  • Thermal characteristics according to the bearing preload arc studied for the four type spindles with high frequency motor. For the analysis. three dimensional models are built considering heat transfer characteristics such as natural and forced convection coefficients, Bearing and motor are main heat generation, and heat generation by ball bearings as a function of load. viscosity and gyroscopic moment effect are considered. Unsteady-state temperature distributions and thermal displacements according to the bearing preload are analyzed by using the finite clement method.

인공신경회로망에 기초한 직류모터제어에 관한 연구 (A Study on DC Motor Control based on Artificial Neural Networks)

  • In this paper, we assume that the dynamics of DC motor and nonlinear load are unknown. We propose an inverse dynamic model of DC motor and nonlinear load using the artificial neural network and construck speed control system based on the proposed dynamic model. We also propose another dynamic model with speed prediction scheme using the artificial neural network that removes the undesirable time delay effect caused by the computation time during the real-time control. We suggest a dynamic model which has arbitrary number of speed arguments and is especially effective when the motor and load has large moment of inertia. Next, we suggest a controller that combine the neurocontrol and PID control with constant gain. We show that the proposed neurocontrol systems have capabilities of noise rejection and generalization to have good velocity tracking through computer simulations and experiments.

  • There are screw, reciprocating type turbo compressor by structure in an air compressor which is essential equipment on the industrial spot. Recently, the application range of a turbo compressor tend to be wide gradually. And this type of compressor needs high speed rotation of impeller in structure so high ratio gearbox and conventional induction motor driving required. This mechanical system have results of increased moment of inertia and mechanical friction loss. Recent studies of modern turbo compressor have been applied to developing super high speed BLDC motor and driver which remove gearbox that make its size small and mechanical friction loss minimum. To accomodate this tendency, we tried to develope a super high speed motor drive system for 150Hp, 70,000rpm direct drive Turbo compressor using DSP(Digital Signal Processor) and SVPWM(Space Vector Modulation PWM) technique. The results of this specific application show that super high speed driver and controller could be implemented well with digital electronics.
