18% Ni 마레이징강의 용접 잔류 응력에 미치는 열처리의 영향 (Effect of Heat Treatments on Welding Residual Stresses of 18% Ni Maraging Steel)

  • One of the most interesting and promising steel groups considered for the rocket motor case, aircraft and aerospace component is the maraging(martensitic plus aging) nickel steel, developed by International Nickel Company in 1960. This material attains a very high strength with good fracture toughness by simple heat treatments which do not involve a quenching. Full strength can be obtained by "maraging" at 480.deg. for 3 hours for the 18% Ni maraging steel. The effect of heat treatments was considered on the residual stress field of 18% Ni maraging steel weldments. In experiments, various heat treatments such as stress relieve heat treatment, aging and solution heat treatment were carried out of the GTA weldments and the residual stresses were measured by using the hole drilling method. Whereas the conventional pattern of residual stress shows the stresses to be maximum along the weld centerline with tensile stress extending into the heat affected zone, the pattern in maraging steels shows the centerline stress to be compressive. After welding, a series of aging, solution heat treatment and solution heat treatment plus aging treatment were carried out and the residual stresses were measured to reveal that these heat treatments almost completely remove the welding residual stresses.

후경화를 고려한 HTPB 고체 추진제의 실험적 노화평가 기법 연구 (Study on the Experimental Aging Estimation Technique for HTPB based Solid Propellant Considering Post Curing Effect)

  • HTPB 고체 추진제 기계적 물성의 후경화 효과에 대하여 시편 시험을 통하여 평가하였다. 후경화 반응 완료 후 시편 가속노화 시험을 실시하여 Arrhenius 식의 계수를 획득하였다. 확인을 위하여 원통형 모사 충전체를 설계, 제작하여 가속노화 시험을 수행하였으며, 시험 후 추진제 표면 부위, 중앙 부위, 접착 부위에 대하여 시편을 채취하여 노화 물성을 평가하였다. 측정된 결과에 대하여, 획득된 가속노화 식으로 예측하여 비교하였다. 그 결과 JANNAF 시편 시험을 통한 가속노화 식은 추진제 재료의 노화를 잘 예측하였으나 접착 부위에서는 실제 측정 결과와 차이를 나타내었다. 따라서 실기형 추진기관에서 노화 시료를 채취하는 경우 시험 목적에 부합하도록 시편 채취 부위를 선정해야 한다.

고압전동기 고정자 권선의 절연열화 분석 (Analysis of Insulation Aging in High Voltage Motor Stator Windings)

  • Prior to destructive testing, diagnostic tests were performed in eight high voltage motors. Diagnostic tests included polarization index, ac current, dissipation factor($tan{\delta}$) and partial discharge magnitude. The rewind of motor stator insulation at rated voltage is assessed by the results of these tests. After completing the diagnostic tests, the stator windings of motors were subjected to gradually increasing ac voltage, until the insulation punctured. No. 1 motor failed near rated voltage of 12.96 kV. The breakdown voltage of No. 4 motor was 6.99 kV which is lower that expected for good quality coils in 6.6 kV class motors. The failure was located in a line-end coil at the exit from the core slot. These two motors began operation in 1994. While testing No. 7 motor, flashover occurred between the stator winding and the stator frame at 15 kV. The relationship between the diagnostic test and the drop in insulation breakdown voltage was analyzed.

  • 플렉시블 씰에 사용되는 고무의 성능 중 가장 중요한 것은 플렉시블 씰의 구동 토크를 결정하는 전단 계수, 고무의 회전 각 크기를 좌우하는 전단 응력, 제작된 고무의 균일성, 그리고 고무 노화에 따른 전단 계수 변화이다. 본 연구에서 고체 모터 플렉시블 씰 제작에 사용된 고무 특성의 시험 결과를 정리하였다. 시험 결과 플렉시블 씰 제작에 사용된 고무의 전단 계수는 0.4310 ${\sim}$ 0.4997MPa 범위를 가지며, 고무의 파단 전단 응력은 2.5MPa 이상을 보인다. 또한 상온 보관 상태에서 1년이 지난 고무의 전단 계수는 평균 약 11.8% 정도 증가하였다.

  • In this study, the performance test was carried out under various operation conditions targeting four representing types of lubricant which are mostly used in nuclear power plants, and mutually compared the characteristic and performance of lubricant. Especially, introducing the concept of the thread friction coefficient (hereinafter, TFC), which makes the friction relation between the stem nut and stem screw dimensionless. The test was performed to compare the lubricant performance for the four kinds of lubricant (Texaco, Alvania, Mobilux, MOVLL). In a test of the room temperature stem, the TFC of MOV Long Life shows the lowest value, next to Alvania EP2, Texaco EP2, and Mobilux EP0 in that order. And in a test of the high temperature stem, the TFC of Texaco EP2 shows the lowest, next to MOV Long Life, Alvania EP2, and Mobilux EP0 in that order. From the test result of the aging condition, three types of lubricant (MOV LL, Texaco EP2, Alvania EP2) show similar patterns up to 36 months, but in 60 months, the TFC of lubricant are increased rapidly.

  • 청정실(Clean room)에 사용되는 환기팬용 모터의 방진고무부품의 수명을 예측하기 위해서 가속 열 노화 시험을 수행하였다. 방진고무부품은 EPDM으로 만들었다. 노화 수명을 판단하기 위한 한계점을 20%의 압축 영구 줄음률로 하여 절대 온도의 역수 값으로 아레니우스 선도를 유도하였다. 아레니우스 관계식으로부터 방진고무부품의 다양한 온도에서의 수명과 활성화에너지를 구하였다. 그리고 수명을 판단하는데 있어 상당한 시간을 대체할 수 있는 가속 시험법을 설계하였다. 또한 방진고무부품에 첨가되는 노화 방지제가 수명에 미치는 영향을 알아보았다.

  • We worried about the technology difference between our company and the advanced companies at present motor market. Thus we started independently to develop the technology of motor coil insulation system and to accumulate insulation technology data. When we export the electric machines to oversee market. we are asked to set up the insulation system to show our product excellence. We first evaluate the insulation system of our motors to realize higher reliability of high voltage insulation system. Therefore we are possible to do the insulation diagnosis in real site and have accumulated the data related in insulation diagnosis. Thus we have improved the our insulation system. And also these data were used to new product development as very useful data. also will be used the insulation deterioration diagnosis to estimate the remained life time which is very important data for the maintenance management. As the result. we are able to get the our product reliability.

  • Insulation diagnostic tests for high voltage motor stator winding were conducted to analyze the insulation characteristics. Test motors were manufactured same factory and year(1996). Insulation characteristics of moisture winding are different from those of deteriorative winding. Insulation resistance and disscipation factor test results are sensitive to moisture winding. AC current, disscipation factor tip-up and PD test results are sensitive to deteriorative winding. Also, Capacitance value for stator winding insulation material has characteristic of increasing in moisture winding.

  • In this paper, the technology for accelerating degradation & life estimation on the traction motor was introduced with the stator form-winding sample coils of the 200 Class insulation system The accelerative degradation was performed in 10 cycles, which were composed of thermal stress, fast rising surge voltage, vibration, water immersion and overvoltage applying. After aging of 10 cycles, condition diagnosis test such as insulation resistance & polarization index, capacitance & dielectric loss and partial discharge properties were investigated in the temperature range of $20{\sim}160^{\circ}C$. Relationship between degradation conditions and diagnosis results were analyzed to find an dominative degradation factor at the end-life point

  • A safety-related equipment for use in Nuclear Power Plant should be needed an Equipment Qualification. This paper presents the approach, methods, philosophies, and procedures for qualifying the large squirrel-cage induction electric pump motors for use in ULCHIN 5&6 Nuclear Power Plants. In this paper, the method of qualification is a combination of type test and analysis method, which is composed of Radiation exposure test, Seismic simulation test, Thermal aging analysis for non-metallic materials and Seismic analysis. It is found that the motor performs its safety function with no failure mechanism under postulated service conditions.
