WPS와 장갑 장치 기반의 동적 제스처 인식기의 구현 (An Implementation of Dynamic Gesture Recognizer Based on WPS and Data Glove)

  • 차세대 PC를 위한 WPS(Wearable Personal Station)는 정보 처리 및 네트워크 기능을 포함하며 새로운 정보의 획득에 있어 공간적 한계성을 극복할 수 있는 '유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅'의 핵심 단말기로 정의할 수 있다. 기존의 유선 통신 모듈을 이용한 데스크톱 PC 기반의 제스처 인식기는 영상 또는 장갑 장치로부터 사용자의 의미 있는 동적 제스처 데이터를 획득함에 있어 공간상의 제약성 및 이동상의 한계성, 배경 및 음영조건의 변화에 따른 인식 성능의 변화 등 몇 가지 제약사항을 가지고 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제점들을 극복하고 해결하고자 제스처 입력모듈을 차세대 PC 플랫폼 기반의 유비쿼터스 환경으로 확대, 적용시켜 제스처 데이터 입력 모듈로부터 새로운 정보의 획득에 있어 한계성을 극복하고 효율적인 데이터 획득 방안을 제시한다 또한 퍼지 알고리즘과 신경망 이론을 이용하여 독립적인 제스처 인식 시스템을 구현하고 개별 시스템의 성능을 비교, 분석함으로써 차세대 PC를 위한 보다 효율적이며 합리적인 제스처 인식 시스템을 제안한다. 제안된 제스처 인식시스템은 동적인 손의 움직임을 입력데이터로 처리하는 제스처 입력모듈과 입력된 데이터로부터 의미 있는 제스처를 분리하기 위한 관계형 DBMS모듈, 그리고 인식의 확장성과 연속된 동적 제스처 중에서 의미 있는 제스처를 인식하기 위한 퍼지 인식 모듈 및 신경망 인식 모듈로 구성되어 있다. 30인의 피실험자에 대하여 15회의 반복 실험을 수행하였으며 사용자의 동적 제스처 인식 실험결과 퍼지 제스처 인식 시스템에서는 98.8%, 신경망 제스처 인식시스템에서는 96.7%의 평균 인식률을 도출하였다.형성에도 유의한 영향을 미치는 것을 알 수 있었다. 셋째, 신뢰와는 다르게 서비스품질이 몰입에는 유의한 영향을 미치지 못하는 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 이러한 직접적인 영향이외에 서비스품질은 고객만족을 통하여 간접적으로 몰입에 강한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 고객만족은 신뢰에 강하게 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 즉 고객들이 호텔서비스에 만족할수록 직접적으로 호텔에 대한 신뢰와 애착심이 증가하는 것을 알 수 있었고 간접적으로 서비스품질은 고객만족을 통하여 신뢰에 강한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 다섯째, 또한 고객만족은 몰입에 강하게 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 간접적으로 서비스품질은 고객만족을 통하여 몰입에 강한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.미숙밭, 중점밭, 고원밭, 화산회밭으로 6개 유형으로 분류할 경우 각각의 분포면적은 41.9%, 23.3%, 17.5%, 13.9%, 1.1. 2.2% 이었다. 도시화 및 도로확대 등 다양한 토지이용 및 지형개변으로 과거의 토양정보가 많이 변경되었다. 그래서, 앞으로는 인공위성자료 및 항공사진을 이용하여 빠르고 쉽게 활용할 수 있는 토양조사 방법개발과 기 구축된 토양도의 수정, 보완 작업이 필요한 절실히 요구되고 있는 현실이다.브로 출시에 따른 마케팅 및 고객관리와 관련된 시사점을 논의한다.는 교합면에서 2, 3, 4군이 1군에 비해 변연적합도가 높았으며 (p < 0.05), 인접면과 치은면에서는 군간 유의차를 보이지 않았다 이번 연구를 통하여 복합레진을 간헐적 광중합시킴으로써 변연적합도가 향상될 수 있음을 알 수 있었다.시장에 비해 주가가 비교적 안정적인 수준을 유지해 왔다고 볼

블라인드 워터마킹을 내장한 실시간 비디오 코덱의 FPGA기반 단일 칩 구조 및 설계 (FPGA-based One-Chip Architecture and Design of Real-time Video CODEC with Embedded Blind Watermarking)

  • 본 논문에서는 입력 영상을 실시간으로 압축 및 복원할 수 있는 하드웨어(hardware, H/W)의 구조를 제안하고 처리되는 영상의 보안 및 보호를 위한 워터마킹 기법(watermarking)을 제안하여 H/W로 내장하고자 한다. 영상압축과 복원과정을 하나의 FPGA 칩 내에서 처리할 수 있도록 요구되는 모든 영상처리 요소를 고려하였고 VHDL(VHSIC Hardware Description Language)을 사용하여 각각을 효율적인 구조의 H/W로 사상하였다. 필터링과 양자화 과정을 거친 다음에 워터마킹을 수행하여 최소의 화질 감소를 가지고 양자화 과정에 의해 워터마크의 소실이 없으면서 실시간으로 동작이 가능하도록 하였다. 구현된 하드웨어는 크게 데이터 패스부(data path part)와 제어부(Main Controller, Memory Controller)로 구분되고 데이터 패스부는 영상처리 블록과 데이터처리 블록으로 나누어진다. H/W 구현을 위해 알고리즘의 기능적인 간략화를 고려하여 H/W의 구조에 반영하였다. 동작은 크게 영상의 압축과 복원과정으로 구분되고 영상의 압축 시 대기지연 시간 없이 워터마킹이 수행되며 전체 동작은 A/D 변환기에 동기하여 필드단위의 동작을 수행한다. 구현된 H/W는 APEX20KC EP20K600CB652-7 FPGA 칩에서 69%(16980개)의 LAB(Logic Array Block)와 9%(28352개)의 ESB(Embedded System Block)을 사용하였고 최대 약 82MHz의 클록주파수에서 안정적으로 동작할 수 있어 초당 67필드(33 프레임)의 영상에 대해 워터마킹과 압축을 실시간으로 수행할 수 있었다.

신경망과 Mean-shift를 이용한 눈 추적 (Eye Tracking Using Neural Network and Mean-shift)

  • 본 논문은 신경망 (neural network: NN)과 mean-shift알고리즘을 이용하여 복잡한 배경에서 사용자의 눈을 정확히 추출하고 추적할 수 있는 눈 추적 시스템을 제안한다. 머리의 움직임에 강건한 시스템을 개발하기 위해서 먼저 피부색 모델과 연결 성분분석을 이용하여 얼굴영역을 추출한다. 그 다음 신경망기반의 텍스처 분류기를 이용하여 얼굴 영역(face region)을 눈 영역(eye region)과 비눈 영역(non-eye region)으로 구분함으로써 눈을 찾는다. 이러한 눈 검출 방법은 안경의 착용 유무에 상관없이 사용자의 눈 영역을 정확히 검출 할 수 있게 한다. 일단 눈 영역이 찾아지면 이후 프레임에서의 눈 영역은 mean-shift알고리즘에 의해 정확하게 추적된다. 제안된 시스템의 효율성을 검증하기 위해서 제안된 시스템은 눈의 움직임을 이용한 인터페이스 시스템에 적용되었고, 이 인터페이스를 이용한 'aliens game'이 구현되었다. 25명의 사용자에 대해 실험한 결과는 제안된 시스템이 보다 편리하고 친숙한 인터페이스로 활용될 수 있다는 것을 보여주었으며, 또한 $320{\times}240$ 크기의 영상을 초당 30프레임의 빠른 속도로 처리함으로써 실시간 시스템에 적용될 수 있음을 보여주었다.

효율적인 전시공연을 위한 멀티 소형 휴머노이드 로봇제어 (A Multi Small Humanoid Robot Control for Efficient Robot Performance)

  • 본 논문에서는 효율성 및 사용자 편리성을 극대화 할 수 있는 전시공연을 위한 멀티 소형 휴머노이드 로봇제어 방법을 설계 및 구현 하였다. 근래에는 공연과 전시분야에도 로봇을 활용하는 사례가 늘고 있으며, 연극, 뮤지컬, 오케스트라 공연 등 장르 또한 다양하다. 기존의 소형 휴머노이드를 이용한 전시공연에서는 컴퓨터 및 MP3 플레이어 등을 이용하여 외부에서 음원을 재생과, 동시에 로봇의 공연시작을 위한 통신장비의 시작 버튼을 눌러줌으로 공연을 시작하였다. 이처럼 이원화된 음원과 로봇 동작과의 동기화로 인하여 음원시작시점과 로봇의 공연 시작 시점의 동기화가 잘 이루어지지 않아 로봇의 동작과 음원이 따로 재생되어 공연을 재시작 해야 하는 경우가 빈번히 발생하였다. 또한 공연 도중 로봇이 무게중심을 잃거나 했을 때 사람이 공연에 개입하거나 공연을 재시작 해야 하는 등의 문제점이 존재하였다. 이를 개선하기 위해서, 본 논문에서는 멀티 소형 휴머노이드 로봇제어의 효율성 향상 및 사용자의 편리성을 극대화할 수 있는 GUI 기반의 휴먼 인터페이스 S/W를 설계하였으며, 다수의 소형 휴머노이드에 데이터를 전송하기 위하여 지그비 통신을 사용하였다. 또한, 다수의 소형 휴머노이드 로봇을 대상으로 실제 구현함으로써 효율성 및 사용자의 편리성에 대한 타당성을 입증하였다.

  • 포항지진은 포항지열발전소의 수리자극에 의한 촉발지진으로 조사되었으며, 수리자극을 위해 주입된 유체가 임계상태에 도달한 지하단층을 재활성시킨것으로 알려져 있다. 하지만 포항지열발전소의 건설 이전, 포항지진 진앙지 인근에서 단층운동에 의한 제4기층 변형연구는 보고되지 않았다. 포항지진 이후 지표지질조사를 통해 진앙지로부터 약 4km 떨어진 지점에서 대규모 물빠짐구조를 확인하였다. 마이오세 이암에에서 발생한 이 물빠짐 구조는 MIS 5에 형성된 상부 해안퇴적층을 관입하고 있다. 이는 마이오세 퇴적층과 해안퇴적층의 부정합면을 따라 존재하는 지하수면과 마이오세 퇴적층이 속성작용 완료되기 전에 융기된 영향으로 인해, 마이오세 퇴적층이 충분히 고화되지 않아 연질퇴적변형구조를 형성할 수 있었음을 지시한다. 이 물빠짐구조는 미고화된 이암의 공극수압이 상부지층의 하중을 초과하여 발생한 구조로서 지진에 의해 발생한 것으로 해석된다. 이러한 해석은 물빠짐구조로부터 약 400m 떨어진 지점에서 확인된 제4기 단층의 존재, 한반도 남동부의 빠른 융기율, 포항인근 양산단층을 따라 보고된 제4기 단층과 역사지진 기록과도 잘 부합한다. 따라서, 포항지진의 진앙지 일원은 제4기 동안 지구조운동과 이와 관련된 지표변형이 발생한 지점으로서 포항지진을 일으킨 단층 또한 지진발생 이전에 임계상태에 도달했을 것으로 추정된다.

웹 멀티미디어 컨텐츠의 디자인과 유용성분석에 대한 연구 (Study on the Design and Usability factor analysis of Web Multimedia Contents)

  • 컴퓨터 기술의 발달과 웹 환경의 개선은 e비즈니스의 확대와 웹 사이트의 트랜드에 영향을 주었다. 멀티미디어를 사용한 사이트의 인기가 상승하고 경쟁 사이트보다 높은 인지도를 보여주고 있어 멀티미디어 도입이 활성화되고 있다. 웹 멀티미디어 콘텐츠에 있어서도 평가기준에 합당한 멀티미디어 컨텐츠의 구성요소가 필요하다. 이들 구성요소는 정보디자인, 영상디자인, 인터랙티브 디자인의 요소로 정리할 수 있다. 이 요소들을 사용자에게 대표적인 웹 멀티미디어 사이트를 평가하도록 하였다. 웹 사이트의 선정은 대표적인 웹 사이트의 유형인 HTML기반, 플래시 기반, 혼합기반으로 한정하였다. 사용자가 평가한 데이터를 이용하여 디자인과 멀티미디어의 요소별 연관성과 상관관계를 규명하는 통계분석을 하였다. 서울, 경기, 충청지방에 거주하는 C대학교 재학생 중 디자인 비전공자들 101명을 대상으로 분석하였다. 설문내용은 인터넷을 이용하여 코카콜라, 나이키, 삼성전자 각 기업의 한국어 사이트에 방문하여 평가하도록 하였다. 설문의 평가 방식은 각 항목 당 5점 척도로 평가하도록 하여 이를 점수화했다. 설문 분석을 위한 통계 패키지는 SPSS Ver 10.0을 사용하였다. 기술 분석을 통해 각 유형별 웹 사이트가 정보디자인, 영상디자인, 인터랙티브디자인, 디자인에서 사용자 평가를 분석하였다. 웹 멀티미디어 컨텐츠 유형에 따른 웹 사이트 평가에 같은 웹 멀리미디어 평가 항목을 설문한 결과 eigenvalue의 요인추출개수가 다르게 나왔으며 회귀식 또한 다르게 나왔다. 이는 웹 사이트를 제작할 때 목적에 따라 유형의 방법을 다르게 선택해야하는 것을 알 수 있었다.

웹기반 청각장애인용 수화 웹페이지 제작 시스템 (Web-based Text-To-Sign Language Translating System)

  • 소리가 잘 들리지 않는 청각장애인은 소리를 표시하는 글자를 익히고 복잡한 개념을 전달하는 글을 이해하는 데 어려움이 많다. 그래서 자연스럽게 표정, 몸짓, 손짓으로 의사를 전달하는 수화가 청각장애인들의 주요 의사소통수단으로 자리잡아왔지만 사회에서는 글과 말이 주요 정보전달 수단으로 이용되고 있어 청각장애인이 정보에 접근하고 지식을 넓혀 직업을 갖는데 큰 어려움이 있다. 특히 근래에 인터넷이 보편화됨에 따라 정상인의 정보 습득량은 크게 늘었지만, 글로 표현된 인터넷을 이해하기 어려운 청각장인들은 인터넷 정보에 접근하는데 어려움이 많다. 본 연구에서는 청각장애인을 위한 수화 웹페이지를 제작할 수 있는 수화 웹페이지 제작시스템을 개발하였다. 수화 웹페이지 제작 시스템은 청각장애인용 수화 웹페이지 제작자가 통상적인 인터넷 사용에 필요한 하드웨어 및 소프트웨어 환경만 갖추면 운영할 수 있도록 웹기반으로 개발하였다. 수화용 웹 페이지 제작자는 게시판 형태의 인터페이스를 이용하여 변역하고자하는 문장을 서버에 전송할 수 있다. 서버는 수신된 문장을 수화로 번역하여 3D 아바타 기반의 수화 그래픽 애니메이션을 랜더링한다. 수화 그래픽 애니메이션은 MP4 형식의 동영상으로 변환되며, 스트리밍 서버의 저장소에 보관된다. 저장된 수화 동영상의 이름과 주소는 수화 웹페이지 제작자가 처음 문장을 입력하였던 게시판에 표시되도록 하여 향후 청각장애인용 웹 페이지를 제작할 때 활용할 수 있도록 하였다. 또한 본 연구에서는 웹페이지 제작자가 공공기관의 웹페이지를 제작할 수 있도록, 이들 기관에서 현재 사용된 글들을 수화로 번역할 때 필요한 수화 단어를 수화 웹페이지 제작 시스템의 수화 사전에 추가하였다. 수화 단어를 추가함으로써 웹기반 수화 웹페이지 제작 시스템이 공공부문에 보다 더 많이 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

  • The wall shear stress in the vicinity of end-to end anastomoses under steady flow conditions was measured using a flush-mounted hot-film anemometer(FMHFA) probe. The experimental measurements were in good agreement with numerical results except in flow with low Reynolds numbers. The wall shear stress increased proximal to the anastomosis in flow from the Penrose tubing (simulating an artery) to the PTFE: graft. In flow from the PTFE graft to the Penrose tubing, low wall shear stress was observed distal to the anastomosis. Abnormal distributions of wall shear stress in the vicinity of the anastomosis, resulting from the compliance mismatch between the graft and the host artery, might be an important factor of ANFH formation and the graft failure. The present study suggests a correlation between regions of the low wall shear stress and the development of anastomotic neointimal fibrous hyperplasia(ANPH) in end-to-end anastomoses. 30523 T00401030523 ^x Air pressure decay(APD) rate and ultrafiltration rate(UFR) tests were performed on new and saline rinsed dialyzers as well as those roused in patients several times. C-DAK 4000 (Cordis Dow) and CF IS-11 (Baxter Travenol) reused dialyzers obtained from the dialysis clinic were used in the present study. The new dialyzers exhibited a relatively flat APD, whereas saline rinsed and reused dialyzers showed considerable amount of decay. C-DAH dialyzers had a larger APD(11.70$\pm$1.32mmHg/min)compared to CF dialyzers(4.32$\pm$0.55mmHg/min)(p<0.05). However, there was no observable difference in the UFR between the two dialyzers. Neither APD nor UFR showed any significant increase with an increasing number of reuses for up to more than 20reuses. A substantial number of failures observed in APD(larger than 20mmHe/min)on the reused dialyzers(2 out of 40 CP and S out 26 C-DAK) were attributed to the Possible damage on the fibers. The CF 15-11 HFDs which failed APD test did not show changes in the UFR compared to normal dialyzers indicating that APD is a more sensitive test than UFR test to evaluate the integrity of the fibers. 30527 T00401030527 ^x For quantitative measurement of reflected light from a clinical diagnostic strip, a prototype old reflectance photometer was designed. The strip loader and cassette were made to obtain more accurate reflectance parameters. The strip was illuminated at 45˚c through optical fiber and the intensity of reflected light was determined at rectanguLat angle using a photodiode. The kubelka-munk coefficient and reflection optical density were determined ar four different wavelengths(500, 550, 570 and 610nm) for blood glucose strip. For higher concentration than 300mg/41 about glucose, a saturation state of abforbance was observed at 500, 550 and 570nm. The mice were divided into two groups. One group was injected with Photofrin II, intravenously (2.5mg/kg body weight). The other group received no Photofrin II. Mice from both groups were irradialed for approximately 15 minutes at 100, 300, or 500 mW/cm2 with the argon (488nm/514.5 nm), dye(628nm) and gold vapor (pulsed 628 nm) laser light. A photosensitizer behaved as an added absorber. Under our experimental conditions, the presence of Photolfrin II increased surface temperature by at least 40% and the temperature rise due to 300 mW/cm2 irradiation exceeded values for hyperthermia. Light and temperature distributions with depth were estimated by a computer model. The model demonstrated the influence of wavelength on the thermal process and proved to be a valuable tool to investigate internal temperature rise. 30536 T00401030536 ^x We investigated the structural geometry of thirty-eight Korean femurs. The purpose of this study is to identify major geometrical differences between Korean femurs 3nd others that we believe belong to Caucasians so that we would be able to get insights into the femoral component design that fits Asians including Koreans. We utilized computerized tomography (CT) images of femurs extracted from cadavers. The CT images were transformed into bitmap data by using a film scanner, and then analyzed by using a commercially available software called Image v.1.0 and a Macintosh IIci computer.The resulting data were compared with already published data. The major results show that the geometry of the Korean femurs is significantly different from that of Caucasians: (1) the anteversion angle and the canal flare index are greater by the amount of approximately 8˚ and 0.5, respectively, (2) the shape of the isthmus cross section is more round, and (3) the distance between the teaser trochanter and the proximal border of the isthmus is shelter by about 15 mm. The results suggested that the femoral component suitable for Asians should be different from the currently-used components designed and manufactured mostly by European or American companies. 30537 T00401030537 ^x It is well known that nonlinear propagation characteristics of the wave in the tissue may give very useful information for the medical diagnoisis. In this paper, a new method to detect nonlinear propagation characteristics of the internal vibration in the tissue for the low frequency mechanical vibration by using bispectral analysis is proposed. In the method, low frequency vibration of f0( = 100Hz) is applied on the surface of the object, and the waveform of the internal vibration x (t) is measured from Doppler frequency modulation of silmultaneously transmitted probing ultrasonic waves. Then, the bispectra of the signal x (t) at the frequencies (f0, f0) and (f0, 2f0) are calculated to estimate the nonlinear propagation characteristics as their magnitude ratio, w here since bispectrum is free from the gaussian additive noise we can get the value with high S/N. Basic experimental system is constructed by using 3.0 MHz probing ultrasonic waves and the several experiments are carried out for some phantoms. To synthesize microspheres for biomedical application, "two stage shot growth method" was developed. The uniformity ratio of synthesized microspheres was always smaller than 1.05. And the surface charge density (or the number of ionizable functional groups) of the microspheres synthesized by "two stage shot growth method" was 6~13 times higher than that of the microspheres synthesized by conventional seeded batch copolymerization. As a previous step for biomedical application, adsorption experiments of bovine albumin on microspheres were carried out under various conditions.   • The wall shear stress in the vicinity of end-to end anastomoses under steady flow conditions was measured using a flush-mounted hot-film anemometer(FMHFA) probe. The experimental measurements were in good agreement with numerical results except in flow with low Reynolds numbers. The wall shear stress increased proximal to the anastomosis in flow from the Penrose tubing (simulating an artery) to the PTFE: graft. In flow from the PTFE graft to the Penrose tubing, low wall shear stress was observed distal to the anastomosis. Abnormal distributions of wall shear stress in the vicinity of the anastomosis, resulting from the compliance mismatch between the graft and the host artery, might be an important factor of ANFH formation and the graft failure. The present study suggests a correlation between regions of the low wall shear stress and the development of anastomotic neointimal fibrous hyperplasia(ANPH) in end-to-end anastomoses. 30523 T00401030523 ^x Air pressure decay(APD) rate and ultrafiltration rate(UFR) tests were performed on new and saline rinsed dialyzers as well as those roused in patients several times. C-DAK 4000 (Cordis Dow) and CF IS-11 (Baxter Travenol) reused dialyzers obtained from the dialysis clinic were used in the present study. The new dialyzers exhibited a relatively flat APD, whereas saline rinsed and reused dialyzers showed considerable amount of decay. C-DAH dialyzers had a larger APD(11.70${\pm}$1.32mmHg/min)compared to CF dialyzers(4.32${\pm}$0.55mmHg/min)(p<0.05). However, there was no observable difference in the UFR between the two dialyzers. Neither APD nor UFR showed any significant increase with an increasing number of reuses for up to more than 20reuses. A substantial number of failures observed in APD(larger than 20mmHe/min)on the reused dialyzers(2 out of 40 CP and S out 26 C-DAK) were attributed to the Possible damage on the fibers. The CF 15-11 HFDs which failed APD test did not show changes in the UFR compared to normal dialyzers indicating that APD is a more sensitive test than UFR test to evaluate the integrity of the fibers. 30527 T00401030527 ^x For quantitative measurement of reflected light from a clinical diagnostic strip, a prototype old reflectance photometer was designed. The purpose of this study is to identify major geometrical differences between Korean femurs 3nd others that we believe belong to Caucasians so that we would be able to get insights into the femoral component design that fits Asians including Koreans. We utilized computerized tomography (CT) images of femurs extracted from cadavers. The CT images were transformed into bitmap data by using a film scanner, and then analyzed by using a commercially available software called Image v.1.0 and a Macintosh IIci computer.The resulting data were compared with already published data. The major results show that the geometry of the Korean femurs is significantly different from that of Caucasians: (1) the anteversion angle and the canal flare index are greater by the amount of approximately 8˚ and 0.5, respectively, (2) the shape of the isthmus cross section is more round, and (3) the distance between the teaser trochanter and the proximal border of the isthmus is shelter by about 15 mm. Then, the bispectra of the signal x (t) at the frequencies (f0, f0) and (f0, 2f0) are calculated to estimate the nonlinear propagation characteristics as their magnitude ratio, w here since bispectrum is free from the gaussian additive noise we can get the value with high S/N. Basic experimental system is constructed by using 3.0 MHz probing ultrasonic waves and the several experiments are carried out for some phantoms.
