상지동작에 따른 길의 변화에 관한 연구 -입체재단법을 중심으로- (A Study on the Change of Waist Pattern by Upper Limb Motion -By the Method of Tight Fitting Technique-)

  • In this study, the pattern was copied by the method of Tight Fitting Techinque, which resulted from the changed body by the upper limb motion-front-vertical motion(or vertical motion in front), side-vertical motion, and horizontal motion. And, this study analyzed the change of the pattern and the observed items dimension changed to the pattern. The results are as follows: 1. In the observation of the degree of the pattern change according to the motion of upper limb, the result provides that the motion change in the range of $135^{\circ}$ to $180^{\circ}$ is the largest in front-vertical motion, $45^{circ}~90^{\circ}$ in side-vertical motion, and $0^{circ}~45^{\circ}$ in horizontal motion respectively. 2. The probability test result of the items of the motion is more related with the horizontal width item rather than the vertical length item in the front and back pattern where the back pattern has more effect than the front pattern. And the upper limb-surrounding items are more related than any otheer item. 3. The change of the pattern according to the motion shows the decrese of the neck width and the shoulder legth, the rising of the point of shoulder (or shoulder point) and armpit point, the decrease of the pattern width and the increase of the pattern length. As the angle of the motion grows vertically motion. The change of the shoulder length in the horizontal motion is smaller than that vertical. But as the angle of the motion grows horizontally, it has a tendency of decreas in th width of the front patten and the length of the pattern, whereas the width of the back pattern is noticeably increases.

관절 동작에 따른 동작 반복 및 외부 부하 영향에 관한 연구 (Effects of Motion Repetition and External Load Depending on Joint Motions)

  • This study aims to empirically investigate effects of motion repetition and external load according to joint motion on discomfort through an experiment. Eighteen college students (female: 9; male: 9) participated in an experiment measuring perceived discomfort using the Borg CR10. Joint(wrist, elbow, shoulder and trunk) motion, its repetition and external load were adopted as independent variables. The results showed that all three independent variables were statistically significant on discomfort. Participants' sex also significantly affected discomfort obtained in the experiment. While the interactions of joint motion and repetition, and joint motion and external load were not significant at α = 0.05, that of motion repetition and external load was significant. Based on the experimental results, four regression equations by the joints involved were presented, which could be used as a tool for evaluating postural loads by the joints. It may be postulated that based on the results of this study, scoring systems of RULA and REBA, and those of OWAS and REBA underestimates effects of motion repetition and external load, respectively. It is expected that the results of this study will be used as a basic data for developing an observational method properly reflecting the effects of motion repetition and external load.

Kinect Sensor- based LMA Motion Recognition Model Development

  • The purpose of this study is to suggest that the movement expression activity of intellectually disabled people is effective in the learning process of LMA motion recognition based on Kinect sensor. We performed an ICT motion recognition games for intellectually disabled based on movement learning of LMA. The characteristics of the movement through Laban's LMA include the change of time in which movement occurs through the human body that recognizes space and the tension or relaxation of emotion expression. The design and implementation of the motion recognition model will be described, and the possibility of using the proposed motion recognition model is verified through a simple experiment. As a result of the experiment, 24 movement expression activities conducted through 10 learning sessions of 5 participants showed a concordance rate of 53.4% or more of the total average. Learning motion games that appear in response to changes in motion had a good effect on positive learning emotions.   • In order to investigate how upper limb motion gives influence on clothing, this study measured tests by following standards: Front Vertical motion, Side-Vertical motion, and Horizontal motion. For this study, the procedures in the order of alphabet are applied. A. Eeach of testee's pattern was copied by the motion with a method of tight fitting technique. B. Analyzing each of the size-change on measuring item. C. Studying the moving aspects at each datum points. The results shows that the biggest change can be found in the following items. 1) In vertical motion of F4 (the length to shoulder point from A-point) 2) In horizontal motion of F5 (the length to front-width point from A-point), the check-result gained by checking the notice between motions shows that the most noticeable items are F4 (the length to shoulder point from A-point), F5 (the length to front-width point from A-point), F6 (the length to armpit point from A-point), B7 (the length to side-waist point from B-point). In result of the study of datum point's movement by motion, the items which were measured with the longest on straight-distance in vertical motion are the front and rear-shoulder, and the rear-shoulder, front-armpit in horizontal motion each. In the movement of each datum points by length, the check-result gained by checking the notice between motions shows that the most remarkable item is the front-shoulder.

산업용 로보트의 효율적인 작동 데이터 산출방법에 관한 연구 (A study on the efficient calculation method of the motion data in the industrial robot)

  • The robot motion control in the industrial robot is generally executed by the teach pendant. But, it requires much teaching time and workload to the operators. This study suggests the use of the robot motion control method by the computed keyboard in the industrial robot instead of the teach pendant. TES/CCS(Teaching Expert System/Cartesian Coordinate System) and TES/WCS(Teaching Expert System/World Coordinate System) that have been proposed to improve the robot motion control are applied for this concept. This study is intended to improve the robot motion control in TES/CCS. Parameter limitation problems in getting the motion data on position and posture of the robot in macro motion control are solved by proposed geometric algorithm. This result demonstrates reduction of the average teaching task time to the teaching position.

  • The purposes of this study were to measure the ranges of motion in knee joint and during continuous passive motion(CPM) treatment and to computationally calculate joint angles at the knee joint dependent on the CPM machine design and its application. Four CPM machines and eleven candidates were recruited for this study. Experimental and numerical studies have been peformed to calculate the range-of-motion of CPM machines. From the experimental measurements, the average range of motions at the knee joint for the CPM machine #1, #2, #3, and #4 were lower than the manufactures suggested values due to improper alignments of the hip and knee joints to the CPM machines. Different design of CPM machine generated different outcomes of the ROM at the knee joints during CPM. The experiments and kinematic simulation in this study could be used to provide useful guidance in the treatment of CPM after joint surgery.

모션 텍스처를 이용한 차량 시뮬레이터의 통합 (A Data Driven Motion Generation for Driving Simulators Using Motion Texture)

  • To improve the reality of motion simulator, the method of data-driven motion generation has been introduced to simply record and replay the motion of real vehicles. We can achieve high quality of reality from real samples, but it has no interactions between users and simulations. However, in character animation, user controllable motions are generated by the database made up of motion capture signals and appropriate control algorithms. In this study, as a tool for the interactive data-driven driving simulator, we proposed a new motion generation method. We sample the motion data from a real vehicle, transform the data into the appropriate data structure(motion block), and store a series of them into a database. While simulation, our system searches and synthesizes optimal motion blocks from database and generates motion stream reflecting current simulation conditions and parameterized user demands. We demonstrate the value of the proposed method through experiments with the integrated motion platform system.

  • In this paper, a new method to recognize various motions of fighting with an aid of HMM is proposed. There are four kinds of fighting motion such as hook, jab, uppercut, and straight as the fighting motion. The motion graph is generalized to define each motion in motion data and the new 3D-chain code is used to convert motion data to motion graphs. The recognition experiment has been performed with HMM algorithm on motion graphs. The motion data is captured by a motion capture system developed in this study and by five actors. Experimental results are given with relatively high recognition rate of at least 85%.

  • This study is generalization of the study of Miles[Physica 11D, 1984, pp.309-323]on the resonant motion of a spherical pendulum, which is equivalent to a particle on a spherical container subject to a linear, horizontal excitation. This study covers an arbitrary shape of container and a more general excitation (horizontal but elliptic motion). The averaging method is applied to reduce the governing equations to an autonomous system with cubic nonlinear terms, under the assumption of small amplitude of the container motion. It is shown that both the container shape and the excitation pattern affect the particle dynamics. Under the linear excitation, the anharmonic motion of the particle is possible only for a certain finite range of the parameter a controling the container shape. Stability of the particle's harmonic motion is also influenced by the excitation pattern; as the excitation trajectory becomes closer to a circle, the particle's motion has a stronger tendency to become stable and to follow the rotational direction of the excitation. Under a circular excitation, the motion is always stable and circular with the same rotational direction as the excitation. Analogy between the present model and that of the surface wave inside a circular is studied quantitatively.

선박 운동과 내부 유동의 연성 운동에 관한 수치해석 연구 (A Numerical Study on the Coupled Dynamics of Ship and Flooding Water)

  • This paper presents a numerical method to solve the ship motion coupled with internal fluid flow. Physically the internal fluid motion is coupled with the ship motion. Hitherto the previous numerical results of the coupled motion predict only the general tendency with experiments. The main reason of inaccuracy is that the coupled dynamics of ship motion and internal water motion is not accurately accounted. In this study CFD technique based on VOF is employed for the accurate analysis of flooding water motion. Some cases of the 24th ITTC stability committee's benchmark.study for tanker with internal fluid are analyzed by coupling the ship motion and sloshing dynamics. The calculated ship motion is compared with the experimental result to validate the coupled scheme and is in agreement with the experimental result.
