IoT 플랫폼 기반 디지털 트윈 프로토타입 설계 및 구현 (Design and Implementation of IoT Platform-based Digital Twin Prototype)

  • 최근 사물인터넷 및 인공지능 기술의 발전에 따라 제조, 스마트시티 등 다양한 분야에서 실시간으로 데이터를 수집하고 분석하여 현실세계 문제에 대한 최적화를 수행하는 연구 및 적용사례가 증가하고 있다. 대표적으로 현실세계를 디지털화한 가상세계와 양방향으로 실시간 동기화를 지원하는 디지털 트윈 기술이 주목받고 있다. 본 논문에서는 디지털 트윈을 정의하고 사물인터넷 국제표준인 oneM2M 기반의 IoT 플랫폼을 활용하여 현실사물과 가상세계의 예측결과를 실시간으로 연결하는 디지털 트윈 플랫폼의 프로토타입을 제안한다. 또한, 제안된 프로토타입을 적용하여 물체의 충돌을 사전에 예측하여 사고를 예방할 수 있는 응용서비스를 구현한다. 응용서비스에서는 사전 정의한 테스트 케이스 수행을 통해 제안한 디지털 트윈 프로토타입이 크레인의 동작을 사전 예측하여 충돌 위험을 감지하고 이를 기반으로 최적 제어를 수행할 수 있으며 실제 환경에 응용 가능함을 보였다.

Seismic behavior of caisson-type gravity quay wall renovated by rubble mound grouting and deepening

  • Caisson-type structures are widely used as quay walls in coastal areas. In Korea, for a long time, many caisson-type quay walls have been constructed with a low front water depth. These facilities can no longer meet the requirements of current development. This study developed a new technology for deepening existing caisson-type quay walls using grouting and rubble mound excavation to economically reuse them. With this technology, quay walls could be renovated by injecting grout into the rubble mound beneath the front toe of the caisson to secure its structure. Subsequently, a portion of the rubble mound was excavated to increase the front water depth. This paper reports the results of an investigation of the seismic behavior of a renovated quay wall in comparison to that of an existing quay wall using centrifuge tests and numerical simulations. Two centrifuge model tests at a scale of 1/120 were conducted on the quay walls before and after renovation. During the experiments, the displacements, accelerations, and earth pressures were measured under five consecutive earthquake input motions with increasing magnitudes. In addition, systematic numerical analyses of the centrifuge model tests were also conducted with the PLAXIS 2D finite element (FE) program using a nonlinear elastoplastic constitutive model. The displacements of the caisson, response accelerations, deformed shape of the quay wall, and earth pressures were investigated in detail based on a comparison of the numerical and experimental results. The results demonstrated that the motion of the caisson changed after renovation, and its displacement decreased significantly. The comparison between the FE models and centrifuge test results showed good agreement. This indicated that renovation was technically feasible, and it could be considered to study further by testbed before applying in practice.

  • The purposes of the present work it to study the effect of shear deformation on the static post-buckling response of simply supported functionally graded (FGM) axisymmetric beams based on classical, first-order, and higher-order shear deformation theories. The behavior of postbuckling is introduced based on geometric nonlinearity. The material properties of functionally graded materials (FGM) are assumed to be graded in the thickness direction according to a simple power law distribution in terms of the volume fractions of the constituents. The equations of motion and the boundary conditions derived using Hamilton's principle. This article compares and addresses the efficiency, the applicability, and the limits of classical models, higher order models (CLT, FSDT, and HSDT) for the static post-buckling response of an asymmetrically simply supported FGM beam. The amplitude of the static post-buckling obtained a solving the nonlinear governing equations. The results showing the variation of the maximum post-buckling amplitude with the applied axial load presented, for different theory and different parameters of material and geometry. In conclusion: The shear effect found to have a significant contribution to the post-buckling behaviors of axisymmetric beams. As well as the classical beam theory CBT, underestimate the shear effect compared to higher order shear deformation theories HSDT.

  • 본 논문은 클라이언트-서버 방식을 사용하는 대규모 1인칭 온라인 슈터 게임(MMOFPS)에서의 네트워크 부하를 줄이기 위한 효율적인 적응적 패킷전송 주기 방법을 제안한다. 플레이어 움직임에 있어서 빠르고 지속적인 변화와 정적이고 선형적인 상태가 다양하게 공존하는 FPS 게임의 특성상 변화의 정도에 따라 서버로의 패킷 전송량을 절약할 수 있는 지점들이 존재하는데, 이를 위해 본 논문에서는 클라이언트가 매 패킷을 전송할 때마다 플레이어의 위치 및 움직임 변수들의 변화량을 측정하여 이를 기반으로 다음번 패킷이 전송되어야 할 시간 간격을 계산한다. 서버 측에서는 받은 패킷의 정보들을 사용하여 다음 패킷이 도착할 때까지의 공백을 메우기 위해 위치 예측을 수행하여 모든 클라이언트에게 브로드캐스팅을 하게 된다. 긴 패킷 전송 간격으로 인한 예측 오차를 줄이기 위하여 전송 간격 최대한계치와 이중 패킷전송 등의 추가적 작업을 수행한다. 결과의 효율성을 보이기 위해 테스트 게임 환경을 구축하여 기존의 고정된 패킷전송 주기 시스템과의 비교분석을 수행하였다.

구속모형시험을 통한 잠수함 선형의 수상 조건 조종성능 추정 연구 (Prediction of Maneuverability of a Submarine at Surface Condition by Captive Model Test)

  • In this paper, the results of Planar Motion Mechanism (PMM) test for a 1/15 scaled model of the MARIN Joubert BB2 submarine is dealt with to derive the maneuvering coefficients for surface condition. For the depth of surface navigation, the top of the sail was exposed 0.46 m above the water surface in the model scale, and it corresponds to 6.9 m in the full scale. The resistance and self-propulsion tests were conducted, and the model's self-propulsion point was obtained for 1.328 m/s, which corresponded to 10 knots in the full scale. The maneuvering tests were performed at the model's self-propulsion point, and the maneuvering coefficients were obtained. Based on the maneuvering coefficients, a turning simulation was performed for starboard 30 degree of stern fins. The straight-line stability and control effectiveness in the horizontal plane were analyzed using the maneuvering coefficients and compared with the appropriate range. For the analysis of the neutral fin angle of the X-type stern fin, the stern fin test with drift angles was carried out. As a result, the flow straightening effect at lower and upper parts of the stern fin was discussed.

교량-차량 동적상호작용을 고려한 시간가변적 시스템 특성 분석 (Identification of System Frequency Variations in Vehicle-Bridge Interaction Systems)

  • 본 연구에서는 차량-교량 상호작용 시스템의 고유진동수 변화를 분석하였다. 차량이 주행하는 교량의 동특성은 차량의 질량 및 진동을 무시하지 않는 경우 상호작용을 반영해야 하는데, 이때 시스템은 시간가변적이므로 고유진동수 또한 시간가변적인 특성을 보인다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 차량과 교량을 각각 2자유도를 갖는 시스템으로 모델링하여 차량의 위치와 질량비 그리고 시스템 강성비에 따른 시간가변적 고유진동수를 산출하였다. 분석 결과 일반적으로 초기 고유진동수가 작은 시스템은 상호작용으로 인하여 증폭비가 낮아지는 추세를 보이나 상호작용이 발생할 경우 증폭비는 분기점을 보이며 비선형적 추세를 보이는것을 알 수 있다. 따라서 상호작용이 발생하는 시스템차수에 대한 이해가 필요함을 알 수 있다.

Seismic vulnerability assessment of existing private RC constructions in northern Algeria

  • The RC private constructions represent a large part of the housing stock in the north part of Algeria. For various reasons, they are mostly built without any seismic considerations and their seismic vulnerability remains unknown for different levels of seismic intensity possible in the region. To support future seismic risk mitigation efforts in northern Algeria, this document assesses the seismic vulnerability of typical private RC constructions built after the Boumerdes earthquake (May 21, 2003) without considering existing seismic regulation, through the development of analytical fragility curves. The fragility curves are developed for four representative RC frames in terms of slight, moderate, extensive, and complete damage states suggested in HAZUS-MH 2.1, using nonlinear time history analyses. The numerical simulation of the nonlinear seismic response of the structures is performed using the SeismoStruct software. An original intensity measure (IM) is proposed and used in this study. It is the zone acceleration coefficient "A", through which the seismic hazard level is represented in the Algerian Seismic Regulations. The efficiency, practicality, and proficiency of the choice of IM are demonstrated. Incremental dynamic analyses are conducted under fifteen ground motion accelerograms compatible with the elastic target spectrum of the Algerian Seismic Regulations. In order to cover all the seismic zones of northern Algeria, the accelerograms are scaled from 0.1 to 2.5 in increments of 0.1. The results mainly indicate that private constructions built after the Boumerdes earthquake in the moderate and high seismic zones with four (04) or more storeys are highly vulnerable.

Effect of the variable visco-Pasternak foundations on the bending and dynamic behaviors of FG plates using integral HSDT model

  • In this work, the bending and dynamic behaviors of advanced composite plates resting on variable visco-Pasternak foundations are studied using a simple shear deformation integral plate model. The research is carried out with a view to a three-parameter foundation including the influences of the variable Winkler coefficient, the constant Pasternak coefficient and the damping coefficient of the elastic medium. The present theory uses a displacement field with integral terms instead of derivative terms by including also the shear deformation effect without introducing the shear correction factors. The equations of motion for advanced composite plates are obtained using the Hamilton principle. Analytical solutions for the bending and dynamic analysis are deduced for simply supported plates resting on variable visco-Pasternak foundations. Some numerical results are presented to demonstrate the impact of material index, elastic foundation type, and damping coefficient of the foundation, on the bending and dynamic responses of advanced composite plates.

홈트레이닝 시 발목 부상 예방을 위한 EMS 양말 효과 - 20대 후반 남성을 중심으로 - (EMS socks for Preventing Ankle Injuries during Home Training -Focusing on Men in Their Late 20s-)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of using socks combined with EMS on ankle pain reduction and ankle function improvement in home training participants. In this study, the conductive fabric was combined using socks that can properly compress the ankle. First, VAS was measured during EMS training after fatigue was induced and compared with fatigue during rest. It was confirmed that the level of VAS after EMS training was lower than after rest and fatigue. It was also confirmed that EMS training, which combines EMS with socks, was effective in reducing pain. The experimental action is a measurement action of WBLT and lying posture, and the situation before and after EMS training was compared by performing 30 minutes on the treadmill to cause delayed muscle pain during exercise. As a result of this study, it was found that pain reduction and ROM function were improved when electrical stimulation was performed using EMS socks. It was also confirmed that the application of electrical stimulation to EMS socks effected on ankle fatigue and function improvement. From the study results, it is expected that wearing socks equipped with EMS significantly reduces ankle injuries and improves functional recovery for home training participants.

Numerical studies on flow-induced motions of a semi-submersible with three circular columns

  • The semi-submersible with three circular columns is an original concept of efficient multifunctional platform, which can be used for marginal oil, gas field, and Floater of Wind Turbines (FOWT). However, under certain flow conditions, especially in uniform current with specific velocities, the eddies will alternatively form and drop behind columns, resulting in the fluctuating lift force and drag force. Consequently, the semi-submersible will subject to the Flow-Induced Motions (FIM). Based on the Detached Eddy Simulation (DES) method, the numerical studies were carried out to understand the FIM characteristics of the three-column semi-submersible at two different parameters, i.e., current incidences (0°, 30°, and 60°-incidences) and reduced velocities (4 ≤ Ur ≤ 14). The results indicate that the lock-in range of 6 ≤ Ur ≤ 10 for the transverse motions is presented, and the largest transverse non-dimensional nominal amplitude is observed at 60°-incidence, with a value of Ay/D = 0:481. The largest yaw amplitude Ayaw is around 3.0° at 0°-incidence in the range of 8 ≤ Ur ≤ 12. The motion magnitude is basically the same as that of a four-column semi-submersible. However, smaller responses are presented compared to those of the three-column systems revealing the mitigation effect of the pontoon on FIM.
