학령기 단순언어장애아동의 이해모니터링 능력 (Comprehension Monitoring of School-Age Children with Specific Language Impairment)

  • Comprehension monitoring is a process of message evaluation and a very important skill of communication. Comprehension monitoring is a necessary language skill in classroom, as it is important for children to assess their own understanding of task instructions and teaching content. The present study investigated comprehension monitoring skill of children with Specific Language Impairment(SLI) compared to age-matched children and language-matched children. 18 vignettes and 6 displays were constructed. Children were asked to choose one object or 'DK' card from a display after the children listened to the vignettes. The results showed that children with SLI didn't have problem in comprehending unambiguous utterance and using prior statement. However, they had problem in monitoring comprehending ambiguous utterance compared age-matched children. Their performance were similar to language matched younger children. With respect to their performance, several possible explanations were discussed.

  • This paper deals with the monitoring of grinding wheel wear in surface grinding process. A monitoring system, which makes use of a laser scanning micrometer, is developed to measure the circumferential shape as well as the axial profile of grinding wheel. The monitoring system is applied to surface grinding processes. The experimental results show that the developed monitoring system is useful not only for monitoring the amount of wear in grinding wheel but also for evaluation the quality of ground surface and determining proper derssing time for the grinding wheel.

  • In this paper, vibration-based structural health monitoring methods that are suitable for caisson-type structures are examined by an experimental evaluation. To achieve the objective, four approaches are implemented. First, vibration-based structural health monitoring methods are selected to monitor the structural condition of caisson-type breakwaters. Second, a lab-scaled caisson structure is constructed to verify the selected monitoring methods. Third, the vibration characteristics are numerically analyzed using an FE model due to the change in the rubble mound condition. Finally, experimental vibration tests of the lab-scaled caisson structure are performed to monitor the vibration responses due to changes in rubble mound conditions and the performances of the selected methods are examined from the monitoring results.

  • This paper describes a newly designed multipoint process monitoring system based on a NIR acousto-optic tunable filter. The NIR multipoint process monitoring system consists of a NIR AOTF device for wavelength selection, an InGaAs array sensor, and a specially designed iin-line type of optical fiber probe. Unlike a FTS(Fourier Transform Spectrometry) or grating based monitoring system, an AOTF has no moving parts, and it can be rapidly tuned to any wavelength in its operating range within microseconds. Thus, the AOTF is advantageous in terms of faster spectral imaging capability and rigidity required for industrial monitoring environment.   • Wired monitoring systems have been used for damage detection and dynamic analysis of large structures(bridges, dams, plants, etc.). However, the real-world applications still remain limited, mainly due to time and cost issues inherent to wired systems. In recent years, an increasing number of researchers have adopted WSN(wireless sensor network) technologies to the field of SHM(structural health monitoring). Accurate time synchronization is most critical for the wireless approach to be feasible for SHM purpose, along with sufficient wireless bandwidth and highly precise measuring resolution. To satisfy technical criteria stated above, a wireless vibration monitoring system that uses high-precision MEMS(micro-electro-mechanical system) sensors and A/D convertor is discussed in detail. It was found experimentally that the level of time synchronization fell within $200\;{\mu}sec$.

  • Autonomous things system is a technology that judges and acts based on using surrounding information by itself, and it is evaluated as a future technology that can replace the current IoT technology. The current IoT technology is widely used from facility monitoring to machine control but it is shown weakness as a evaluation and prediction technique despite of smart city important technology. In this study, in order to confirm the application of the autonomous things technology, a monitoring system was installed on a real reservoir dam facility and long-term monitoring was performed that the measuring device itself judges and control as a facility monitoring technology. The autonomous things technology was confirmed during 19 months and it is possible to continuous measurement in the same way as current automated instrumentation. In addition, it was confirmed that the ICT device itself could to control autonomously measurement cycle according to the rainfall by itself.

  • HILS is widely used in the test and evaluation of complex control system. This paper describes the structure of HILS and the control loop performance monitoring of HILS system Distal path delay and FMS(Flight Motion Simulator) dynamics were estimated and output of the estimated model were compared with real FMS output. The monitoring system can be used for analyzing the result of HILS.

  • Due to aging of the imported seismic monitoring system of Uljin 1&2 units it is difficult for this system to provide enough functions needed for the security of seismic safety and the evaluation of the earthquake data from the seismic instrumentation. For this reason, it is necessary to replace the seismic monitoring system of Uljin 1&2 units with an upgraded system with corresponding softwars. With operation of this system which incorporates the man-machine interface technology, the operators in nuclear power plant can rapidly and correctly determine the exceedance of Operating Basis Earthquake.
