  • This paper investigates and compares the natural modes and static reponses of moduled and one-bodied floating structures. Equations for calculating natural modes and static responses are formulated by finite element method and the natural modes are solved by subspace iteration method. A floating parking place whose length is 120 m and width 60 m is considered as an example structure.

  • This paper investigates the natural modes of moduled floating structure with module unit connector. As an example structure, a floating parking place($120m{\times}60m$) is considered. In the evaluation of natural modes, numerical equations are formulated by FEM(Finite Element Method) and the natural modes are solved by the subspace iteration method. By comparing results for various stiffness of module unit connector, the effect of stiffness of unit connector is examined.

  • This paper investigates the natural modes of moduled floating structure with module unit connector. As an example structure, a floating parking place($120m\;{\times}\;60m$) is considered. In the evaluation of natural modes, numerical equations are formulated by FEM(finite element method) and the natural modes are solved by the subspace iteration method. By comparing results for various sizes of module unit, the effect of unit size is investigated. By comparing results for various stiffness of module unit connector, the effect of stiffness of unit connector is also examined.

  • Recently, most vehicles has the Automatic transmission system as their transmission system. The automatic transmission system operates with fixed shift patterns. In the opposite of manual operation, it is easy and convenient for driving. Though these merit, the system can not evaluate the driver's intension because of usage of fixed shift pattern, To consider driver's intension, we must consider both the driving intensity of driver and the status of vehicle. In this paper, we developed flexible automatic transmission system by using the proposed moduled neural networks which can learn the status of the vehicle and driver's intensity As a result, we compare the transmission system using fixed shift pattern and the proposed transmission system and show the good performance in the change of shift position.

  • Nonlinear Function Approximation of Moduled Neural Network Using Genetic Algorithm Neural Network consists of neuron and synapse. Synapse memorize last pattern and study new pattern. When Neural Network learn new pattern, it tend to forget previously learned pattern. This phenomenon is called to catastrophic inference or catastrophic forgetting. To overcome this phenomenon, Neural Network must be modularized. In this paper, we propose Moduled Neural Network. Modular Neural Network consists of two Neural Network. Each Network individually study different pattern and their outputs is finally summed by net function. Sometimes Neural Network don't find global minimum, but find local minimum. To find global minimum we use Genetic Algorithm.

  • 최근 차량의 경우 미리 설정된 쉬프트 패턴에 의해 변속되도록 고안된 자동변속기가 장착되어 있다. 자동변속기는 기존에 운전자가 수동으로 조작하는 방식과 달리, 자동으로 변속되므로 편안하고 편리하지만, 고정된 패턴을 이용해 변속하기 때문에 운전자의 의지를 반영하지 못한다. 운전자의 의지를 반영하기 위해서는 운전자의 성향뿐만 아니라, 차량의 상태도 같이고려해야한다. 이에, 차량의 상태와 운전자의 조작상태를 모듈 화시켜 학습하여 종합적인 운전성향을 판단하고, 반영하여 변속을 결정하고자 한다. 본 논문에서는 모듈화된 신경망을 이용한 운전의지 판단 알고리즘을 자동차의 자동변속기에 적용하여, 기존에 운전자마다 동일하게 적용되던 고정된 패턴에 의해 변속되던 결과와 비교해 봄으로서, 운전자마다 다른 유동적인 운전의지를 반영한 결과가 우수함을 보이고자 한다.

Especially, when the load has declination the AT system must operate for engine break effect. Namely, if the vehicle drives on the load of decrease, the acceleration of the vehicle goes to high then. At that time, the shift goes to down position the vehicle has some negative acceleration with the resistance of engine. To consider driver's intension in this case, we must consider both the driving intensity of driver and the status of load. In this paper, we developed flexible automatic transmission system by using the proposed moduled neural networks which can learn the status of the load and driver's intensity As a result, we compare the transmission system using firmed shift pattern and the proposed transmission system and show the good performance in the change of shift position.

  • The objective of this study is to provide recommendations for the interir design of motor showroom as a sales policy. ten cases of motor showrooms were selected from already observed 50 showrooms in Seoul area. findings revealed that the car industries of Korea should meet the strong needs of differentiated sales policy, and the showroom design was an important factor which influenced client's pruchasing power. From these findings and analyses, this study suggests that each brand has to represent the typical total image to appeal to the consumer strongly . Additionally each showroom should be flexible in modification to meet the diverse conditions such as the location, required function and the trend of consumers. In conclusion , researchers provided 6 types of recommendations in terms of floor plan and interior elements such as circulation path, moduled furniture and objects color and lighting variation . Hopely, this research provides more functional and comfortable environment of automobile showrooms for consumers and companies.

  • Automatic Transmission System(ATS) was designed to replace the human's manual operation of the gear box. So far, this system operates with the fixed shift pattern information. In this paper, new algorithm considering driver's operation tendency is proposed. Also, to get rid of the uselessly frequent shift of the ATS, the conditions and the status of the vehicle would be included for the evaluation in making a decision of shifting. A field test is done in a car equipped with the computer set connected to Transmission Control Units(TCU) to check the status of the test car, and it shows the excellency of the proposed algorithm.
