Recently, diverse devices using different wireless technologies are gradually increasing in the IoT environment. In particular, it is essential to design an efficient feature extraction approach and detect the exact types of radio signals in order to accurately identify various radio signal modulation techniques. However, it is difficult to gather labeled wireless signal in a real environment due to the complexity of the process. In addition, various learning techniques based on deep learning have been proposed for wireless signal classification. In the case of deep learning, if the training dataset is not enough, it frequently meets the overfitting problem, which causes performance degradation of wireless signal classification techniques using deep learning models. In this paper, we propose a generative adversarial network(GAN) based on data augmentation techniques to improve classification performance when various wireless signals exist. When there are various types of wireless signals to be classified, if the amount of data representing a specific radio signal is small or unbalanced, the proposed solution is used to increase the amount of data related to the required wireless signal. In order to verify the validity of the proposed data augmentation algorithm, we generated the additional data for the specific wireless signal and implemented a CNN and LSTM-based wireless signal classifier based on the result of balancing. The experimental results show that the classification accuracy of the proposed solution is higher than when the data is unbalanced.

In a modern electronic warfare, radar signal environments become more denser and complex. Therefor the capability of reliable signal analysis techniques is required for ES(Electronic warfare Support) system to identify and analysis individual emitter signals from received signals. In this paper, we propose the new signal grouping algorithm to ensure the reliable signal analysis and to reduce the cost of the signal processing steps in the ES. The proposed grouping algorithm uses KDE(Kernel Density Estimator) and its CDF(Cumulative Distribution Function) to compose windows considering the statistical distribution characteristics based on the radar frequency modulation type. Simulation results show the good performance of the proposed technique in the signal grouping.

Various processing methods have a great impact on the physiochemical and nutritional properties of meat that are of health concern. Hence, the postmortem processing of meat by different methods is likely to intensify the potential effects on protein oxidation. The influence of meat protein oxidation on the modulation of the systemic redox status and underlying mechanism is well known. However, the effects of processed meat proteins isolated from different sources on gut microbiota, oxidative stress biomarkers, and metabolomic markers associated with metabolic syndromes are of growing interest. The application of advanced methodological approaches based on OMICS, and mass spectrometric technologies has enabled to better understand the molecular basis of the effect of processed meat oxidation on human health and the aging process. Animal studies indicate the involvement of dietary proteins isolated from different sources on health disorders, which emphasizes the impact of processed meat protein on the richness of bacterial taxa such as (Mucispirillum, Oscillibacter), accompanied by increased expression of lipogenic genes. This review explores the most recent evidences on meat processing techniques, meat protein oxidation, underlying mechanisms, and their potential effects on nutritional value, gut microbiota composition and possible implications on human health.

In multi-user wireless communication systems, adaptive modulation and scheduling are promising techniques for increasing the system throughput. However, a mass of wireless recourse will be occupied and spectrum efficiency will be decreased to feedback channel quality indication (CQI) of all users in every subcarrier or chunk for adaptive orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) systems. Thus numerous limited feedback schemes are proposed to reduce the system overhead. The recently proposed compressive sensing (CS) theory provides a new framework to jointly measure and compress signals that allows less sampling and storage resources than traditional approaches based on Nyquist sampling. In this paper, we proposed two novel CQI feedback schemes based on general CS and subspace CS, respectively, both of which could be used in a wireless OFDM system. The feedback rate with subspace CS is greatly decreased by exploiting the subspace information of the underlying signal. Simulation results show the effectiveness of the proposed methods, with the same feedback rate, the throughputs with subspace CS outperform the discrete cosine transform (DCT) based method which is usually employed, and the throughputs with general CS outperform DCT when the feedback rate is larger than 0.13 bits/subcarrier.

In this paper, the needs for introduction and adoption of MㆍHF DSC/NBDP system and for developments of its circuits and call sequences for use in the maritime mobile services for small-ships, leisure-ships and fishing ships are analyzed, discussed. Also design and implement for MㆍHF(1.6-4MHz) DSC/NBDP system is discussed. Most of casualties have been arisen from small-ships and fishing ships during last 5 years. So, the SAR schematic plans should been prepared to prevent casualties and facilitate the activities of SAR for those ships. DSC/NBDP for MㆍHF system is able to fulfill the roles of efficient SAR communication functions, and to advance the SAR system to small ships and fishing ships. This study is focused on the techniques of processing the DSC call sequences and the ARQ sequences of NBDP system. Especially ARQ sequences are expanded into processing of Korean letters, designed the call sequences and code conversion algorithm for Korean-code. It will be evaluated the availability of Korean-NBDP system. In designing the Transmitting circuits and Receiving circuits, for the carrier generation, DDS(Direct Digital Synthesizer) is used in stead of the Phase Locked Loop and frequency conversion by the mixer, BPF. And PSK modulation signals are directly generated by the controls of DDS, which show the characteristics of Spurious Free Dynamic Range are below -62dBc. Also, the monolithic U subsystem IC which provides various functional components, AD608 is used for designing the receiving circuitsㆍAnd the algorithm of Phasing methode for FSK demodulation are devised to process IF frequency 455kHz in the IF circuits.
The conventional OFDM (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) modulation can be combined with WHT (Walsh-Hadamard Transform) to reduce PAPR (Peak-to-Average Power Ratio) and improve BER (Bit Error Rate) performance. However, this WHT-based OFDM system still suffers a relatively high PAPR. Therefore, we suggest a new technique, called DGT (Data Grouping Technique) and design an OFDM system employing it and WHT to further decrease PAPR without the BER performance degradation. h salient property of DGT is the independence of the side information which is inherently a principal drawback of the well-known PAPR reduction techniques for OFDM system as well as WHT-based OFDM. The simulation programs have been also performed to verify the validity of the proposed system.

This paper proposes a soft switching boost converter with an auxiliary resonant circuit. The auxiliary resonant circuit is added to a general boost converter and that is composed of one switch, one diode, one inductor and two capacitors. The resonant network helps the main switch to operate with a zero voltage switching(ZVS) and auxiliary switch also operates under the zero voltage and zero current conditions. The soft switching range is extended by the auxiliary switch and it is possible to control the proposed converter with a pulse width modulation(PWM). The ZVS and ZCS techniques make switching losses decreased and efficiency of the system improved. A theoretical analysis is verified through the simulation and experiment.

We investigate the rate-compatible punctured convolutional (RCPC) codes concatenated with hierarchical QAM for designing a cross-layer unequal error protection scheme for H.264 coded sequences. We first divide the H.264 encoded video slices into three priority classes based on their relative importance. We investigate the system constraints and propose an optimization formulation to compute the optimal parameters of the proposed system for the given source significance information. An upper bound to the significance-weighted bit error rate in the proposed system is derived as a function of system parameters, including the code rate and geometry of the constellation. An example is given with design rules for H.264 video communications and 3.5-4 dB PSNR improvement over existing RCPC based techniques for AWGN wireless channels is shown through simulations.
This paper presents the harmonics obstacle analysis and countermeasure of electrical consumption a place. Harmonics that can be cosidered as a environmental pollution of the power systems become the cause of the accidents and damages. The responsibility of eliminating the harmonics firstly lies on the generating side. But the original characteristics of the system sush as the harmonic transfer characteristics and the impedance of the system affect each other in the process of the generation and transmission of the harmonic. Therefore it is very difficult to specify clearly the harmonic controlling responsibility, because electric machinery generating harmonics are various in the industrial fields. The output of a inverter has a high harmonic content. There are several ways of minimizing the output harmonic content. One way is to use pulse width modulation techniques within inverter. An alternative method is to combine a number of square-wave inverters. In this research, we measure the harmonic of the countermeasure of electrical consumption a place. The paper present the problem of new harmonic elimination method of PWM inverter fed induction motor system using W-FT series. In the future, the proposed PWM pattern by W-FT series is effective not only to the induction motor but also to the electromagnetic machine such as voltage reglator, UPS.
