이민정책 분야의 DDC 수정 전개 방안에 관한 연구 (A Study on Modification and Expansion of Dewey Decimal Classification about Immigration Policy)

  • 본 연구는 복합적인 주제 영역인 이민정책에 관한 다양한 정보를 효과적으로 조직하고 최적의 정보 서비스를 제공할 수 있는 분류표를 개발하기 위해 관련 문헌 연구와 다양한 문헌분류표를 조사하였다. 먼저, 문헌 연구를 통해 이민정책의 학문적 개념과 범주를 정의하고, 이를 바탕으로 핵심 주제 영역을 선정하였다. 다음으로, 듀이십진분류표, 미의회도서관분류표, 한국십진분류표, 국제십진분류표에서 이민정책 분야의 구조와 전개 항목, 특성을 비교 분석하였다. 그리고 이들 분류표 중 전 세계적으로 가장 많이 사용하고 있으며, 정기적으로 개정되고 있는 DDC 23판을 바탕으로 이민정책 분야를 수정 전개하기 위한 설계 원칙과 본표, 보조표를 제안하였다. 수정 전개된 듀이십진분류표는 이민정책을 다루는 주요 분야에 적용될 수 있으며, 이민 정책 관련 전문 연구기관이나 도서관에서 소장 자료를 효과적으로 분류하고 조직하며 이민정책 전문 정보를 통합 관리하기 위한 기초 자료로 활용될 것이다.

Depth Images-based Human Detection, Tracking and Activity Recognition Using Spatiotemporal Features and Modified HMM

  • Human activity recognition using depth information is an emerging and challenging technology in computer vision due to its considerable attention by many practical applications such as smart home/office system, personal health care and 3D video games. This paper presents a novel framework of 3D human body detection, tracking and recognition from depth video sequences using spatiotemporal features and modified HMM. To detect human silhouette, raw depth data is examined to extract human silhouette by considering spatial continuity and constraints of human motion information. While, frame differentiation is used to track human movements. Features extraction mechanism consists of spatial depth shape features and temporal joints features are used to improve classification performance. Both of these features are fused together to recognize different activities using the modified hidden Markov model (M-HMM). The proposed approach is evaluated on two challenging depth video datasets. Moreover, our system has significant abilities to handle subject's body parts rotation and body parts missing which provide major contributions in human activity recognition.

농촌지역 소규모 소택형습지의 유형분류 및 기능평가 연구 (The Type Classification and Function Assessment at Small Palustrine Wetland in Rural Areas)

  • This study was conducted to utilize as basic information for the construction of conservation and estimation system for Palustrine wetland, which was badly managed and imprudently reclaimed, through the analysis of distribution characteristics and the estimation of conservation value for sample sites (eight wetlands) in rural area. As the result of wetland type classification, these wetlands was classified by 4 types (Permanent freshwater marshes/pools, ponds, Aquaculture ponds, and Seasonally flooded agricultural land) by Ramsar system, 3 types (Emergent Wetland, Aquatic Bed, and Scrub-Shrub Wetland) by NWI (Cowardin) System, 5 types (Farm Pond Depression, Under-flow wetland, Man-made Pond Depression, Abandoned Paddy Fields Wetland, and Reservoir Shore) by National Wetland's Categorical System, and 3 types (Aquatic Bed Wetland, Emergent Wetland, and Forested Wetland) by Lee (2000) System. These results suggest us developing the new type classification system for small Palustrine wetland in Korean rural areas. The score of function assessment (The Modified RAM) for small Palustrine wetlands was high at the wetlands nearby hills and rice paddy fields, and low at those nearby upper fields, which was mainly affected by land-use and vegetation. The functions as 'Flood/Storm Water Storage', 'Runoff Attenuation', 'Water Quality Protection' were resulted by the structural difference of inflow and outlet. Some functions as 'Wetland size', 'Wetland to immediate watershed ratio', 'Presence of boat traffic', 'Maximum water depth', 'Fetch of water's body' of RAM were not appropriate in evaluation of small wetlands in rural area. Which suggest us developing the new function assessment system for small Palustirne wetland in Korean rural areas.

수치지도 지형지물 분류체계 개선 및 자료사전에 관한 연구 (A Study on Feature Classification and Data Dictionary of Digital Map)

  • 국토의 효율적인 관리를 위해 국립지리원은 1980년대 중반부터 지도 자동제작을 추진하였으며, 1995년부터 국가지리정보체계(NGIS) 구축사업의 일환으로 다양한 수치지도 제작사업을 본격적으로 착수하였다 현재 국립지리원은 1:1,000 1:5,000 1:25,000 축척의 수치지형도를 제작 수정하고 있으며, 짧은 기간에 수치지도 제작사업을 추진하는 과정에서 관련기술 및 경험 부족 등으로 인하여 수정 및 보완해야 할 사항이 발생하게 되었다. 따라서 수치지도를 제작하면서 발생한 문제점을 개선하고 제작자와 사용자에게 수치지도가 지니고 있는 정보의 특성을 명확하게 제공하고 수치지도가 적절하게 활용될 수 있도록 하며, 또한 다양한 종류의 수치지도들을 연계시킬 수 있는 정보를 제공하기 위해서는 수치지도 자료사전(Data Dictionary)이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 기존에 수행되었던 연구를 분석하고, 기존 수치지도가 갖고 있는 문제점을 파악하여 대축척 수치지도에 대한 새로운 지형지물 분류체계를 제안하고 축척에 따라 지형지물에 대한 자료사전을 제안하였다. 본 연구의 결과물인 축척별 수치지도 자료사전을 이용하여 제작된 수치지도는 다양한 종류의 수치지도와 연계가 가능할 것으로 판단된다.

Nursing Outcomes Classification(간호결과 분류체계)의 한글 명명화에 대한 타당성 연구 (Standardization and Validity study of Korean Nomenclature of NOC)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop and test the validity of the standardized Korean nomenclature of Nursing Outcomes Classification (NOC), developed by Johnson & Maas at the University of Iowa. The four phases of the study were: (1) translation of the NOC into Korean by the research team, (2) four nursing professors and eight nurses with various clinical backgrounds reviewed each nomenclature taking into consideration definitions and nursing activities. The modified Delphi method was used to determine the most appropriate nomenclature for each term; (3) Twenty four academic and clinical experts in nursing were given a questionnaire to rate each Korean nomenclature using a 5 point Likert scale ranging from very inappropriate to very appropriate; (4) the team determined the most appropriate Korean nomenclature for each class of the NOC. The mean validity score of 190 items was 4.54, but several nursing outcome had a score lower than 4.0. They included 'adherence behavior(3.3)', 'ambulation : walking(3.57)', 'transfer performance (3.57)', 'caregiving endurance potential(3.57)'.

경암지반 NATM 터널에서 암반분류 및 계측에 의한 최적지보공 선정에 관한 연구 (Selection of Optimum Support based on Rock Mass Classification and Monitoring Results at NATM Tunnel in Hard Rock)

  • Due to the constraints in pre site-investigation for tunnel, it is essential to redesign the support structures suitable for rock mass conditions such as rock strength, ground water and discontinuity conditions for safe tunnel construction. For the selection of optimum support, it is very important to carry out the rock mass classification and in-situ measurement in tunnelling. In this paper, in a mountain tunnel designed by NATM in hard rock, the selectable system for optimum support has been studied. The tunnel is situated at Chun-an in Kyungbu highspeed railway line with 2 lanes over a length of 4, 020 m and a diameter of 15 m. The tunnel was constructed by drill & blasting method and long bench cut method, designed five types of standard support patterns according to rock mass conditions. In this tunnel, face mapping based on image processing of tunnel face and rock mass classification by RMR carried out for the quantitative evaluation of the characteristics of rock mass and compared with rock mass classes in design. Also, in-situ measurement of convergence and crown settlement conducted about 30 m interval, assessed the stability of tunnel from the analysis of monitoring data. Through the results of rock mass classification and in-situ measurement in several sections, the design of supports were modified for the safe and economic tunnelling.

Parasellar Extension Grades and Surgical Extent in Endoscopic Endonasal Transsphenoidal Surgery for Pituitary Adenomas : A Single Surgeon's Consecutive Series with the Aspects of Reliability and Clinical Validity

  • Objective : The inter-rater reliability of the modified Knosp's classification was measured before the analysis. The clinical validity of the parasellar extension grading system was evaluated by investigating the extents of resection and complication rates among the grades in the endoscopic endonasal transsphenoidal surgery (EETS) for pituitary adenomas. Methods : From November 2008 to August 2015, of the 286 patients who underwent EETS by the senior author, 208 were pituitary adenoma cases (146 non-functioning pituitary adenomas, 10 adrenocorticotropic hormone-secreting adenomas, 31 growth hormone-secreting adenomas, 17 prolactin-secreting adenomas, and 4 thyroid-stimulating hormone-secreting adenomas; 23 microadenomas, 174 macroadenomas, and 11 giant adenomas). Two neurosurgeons and a neuroradiologist independently measured the degree of parasellar extension on the preoperative sellar MRI according to the modified Knosp's classification. Inter-rater reliability was statistically assessed by measuring the intraclass correlation coefficient. The extents of resection were evaluated by comparison of the pre- and post-operative MR images; the neurovascular complications were assessed by reviewing the patients' medical records. The extent of resection was measured in each parasellar extension grade; thereafter, their statistical differences were calculated. Results : The intraclass correlation coefficient value of reliability across the three raters amounted to 0.862. The gross total removal (GTR) rates achieved in each grade were 70.0, 69.8, 62.9, 21.4, 37.5, and 4.3% in Grades 0, 1, 2, 3A, 3B, and 4, respectively. A significant difference in the extent of resection was observed only between Grades 2 and 3A. In addition, significantly higher complication rates were observed in the groups above Grade 3A. Conclusion : Although the modified Knosp's classification system appears to be complex, its inter-rater reliability proves to be excellent. Regarding the clinical validity of the parasellar extension grading system, Grades 3A, 3B, and 4 have a negative predictive value for the GTR rate, with higher complication rates.

석회석 광산의 암반 분류에 적용된 RMR, Q-system, GSI 간의 상관성 연구 (A Study of the Relationships among RMR, Q-system and GSI Applied to Classify Rock Mass of Limestone Mine)

  • 석회석 광산 갱도 내 22 곳의 측정지점을 선정하여 RMR, Q-system, GSI와 같은 암반분류법을 적용하였다. SRF와 $J_w$를 1로 한 수정 Q(Q')와 지하수 조건을 '완전 건조'로 하고 불연속면의 방향 보정을 '0'으로 한 수정 RMR(${RMR_{89}}^{\prime}$)도 계산하였다. Q-기본 RMR, Q-최종 RMR, ${GSI-RMR_{89}}^{\prime}$, GSI-Q' 간의 상관관계를 분석한 결과 ${GSI-RMR_{89}}^{\prime}$ 의 상관성이 가장 높은 것으로 나타났다. 계수비를 기초로 파괴 변형률을 구했으며, 대부분의 측정지점이 '낮은 파괴 변형률' 등급에 속하는 것으로 나타나 안정한 것으로 평가되었다.

한국형 외래환자분류체계의 개선과 평가: 복수시술 및 항암제 진료와 내과적 방문지표를 중심으로 (Refinement and Evaluation of Korean Outpatient Groups for Visits with Multiple Procedures and Chemotherapy, and Medical Visit Indicators)

  • Background: Issues concerning with the classification accuracy of Korean Outpatient Groups (KOPGs) have been raised by providers and researchers. The KOPG is an outpatient classification system used to measure casemix of outpatient visits and to adjust provider risk in charges by the Health Insurance Review & Assessment Service in managing insurance payments. The objective of this study were to refine KOPGs to improve the classification accuracy and to evaluate the refinement. Methods: We refined the rules used to classify visits with multiple procedures, newly defined chemotherapy drug groups, and modified the medical visit indicators through reviews of other classification systems, data analyses, and consultations with experts. We assessed the improvement by measuring % of variation in case charges reduced by KOPGs and the refined system, Enhanced KOPGs (EKOPGs). We used claims data submitted by providers to the HIRA during the year 2012 in both refinement and evaluation. Results: EKOPGs explicitly allowed additional payments for multiple procedures with exceptions of packaging of routine ancillary services and consolidation of related significant procedures, and discounts ranging from 30% to 70% were defined in additional payments. Thirteen chemotherapy drug KOPGs were added and medical visit indicators were streamlined to include codes for consultation fees for outpatient visits. The % of variance reduction achieved by EKOPGs was 48% for all patients whereas the figure was 40% for KOPGs, and the improvement was larger in data from tertiary and general hospitals than in data from clinics. Conclusion: A significant improvement in the performance of the KOPG was achieved by refining payments for visits with multiple procedures, defining groups for visits with chemotherapy, and revising medical visit indicators.

  • In this paper, we present a method to classify electromyogram (EMG) signals which are utilized to be control signals for patient-responsive walker-supported system for paraplegics. Patterns of EMG signals for dierent walking motions are classied via adequate filtering, real EMG signal extraction, AR-modeling, and modified self-organizing feature map (MSOFM). More efficient signal processing is done via a data-reducing extraction algorithm. Moreover, MSOFM classifies and determines the classified results are presented for validation.
