And then design projects in the fields of furniture and product design, interior space design, and project design that were performed by two designers after the year 2000 were analysed. Two designers assume critical attitudes in mass production of functional design which is made by only machines, and they have something in common pursuing creative and imaginative design by making unique artistic elements by using modern technology. In this way, they create surrealistic fantasy in their design. On the other hand Jaime Hayon and Marcel Wanders show interesting differences in modes of expression. Hayon creates unique and organic forms and characters based on his creative imagination, and he enjoys to express boldness and amusement. Wanders shows sophisticated and elegant duality by dramatic balance between intricate patterns and minimal forms. Both designers have important influences in modern design as creative leaders always pursuing new things and representing complex tendency of modern society.

  • The domestic of modern architectural remodeling method emphasizes simple aesthetic elements, and the correct design and construction methods are not established based on quantitative grounds, thus damaging the value of cultural properties. This study attempts to re-examine the value of modern buildings recognized as old buildings. It is a basic step to present the correct remodeling of the building. The design criteria for exterior wall remodeling of modern buildings were presented. These research results are suitable for energy conservation design standards and can prevent defects in buildings. In the future, more accurate analysis will be required by securing physical property values for various domestic materials through subsequent research.

As a result, MMCA showed the characteristics of the extreme of Modern classic such as transparency, homogenization of space, formalism, and composition of multiple elements. Meanwhile, the study could find various Baroque characteristics from DDP such as separation of indoor and outdoor, phenomenological depth, rule breaking, and generation of figure. The study finally argued that DDP would not be an anti-modern, but try to inherit and overcome the modern architecture to explore different possibilities, and that the similar relationship between Renaissance and Baroque art could be found in these two cases.

  • The purpose of this study is to provide ideas for the development of bag design by analyzing the expression types and aesthetic formativeness of modern bag design using tassels and fringe given the newtro trend pursuing analog sensitivity in modern society. The methods and scope of this study are as follows. First, the related literature and internet data were reviewed in order to examine the expression types and characteristics of the bags of the West and East. Next, the definition and characteristics of tassel and fringe decoration in terms of the history of clothing were analyzed. Finally, the expression types and aesthetic formativeness of tassels and fringe were derived through the analysis of modern bag design shown in the fashion collections since 2010. The bags decorated with the tassels and fringe bring a variety of visual effects depending on the attachment position, direction and material composition, concentrating the gaze and radiating original style. In this study, the expression of tassels and fringe in modern bag design was classified into three types: surface decoration, shape variability, and object combination. Next, the aesthetic formativeness of modern bag design using tassels and fringe as decorative elements appeared through the mixture of heterogeneous materials and playfulness through imagination, exaggeration through extension of length and volume, and retro characteristics through reinterpretation of tradition. This study is expected to contribute to creative ideas of modern bag design which requires a global sense, which has been used in various cultures for a long time.

They bear the characteristic of nature; the pleasantness smoothness and complexity. 2. Individualism and hand made: No two items produced by the tie dying technique are identical even though they are similar by design and their individuality is to some extent determined by chance. • In the 1900s, the cultural crossing of East and West was realized through the acceptance and reproduction of culture. Cultural change in the Orient was the result of attempts to harmonize the West's images, which they chose in their respective countries, with their own culture. However, research on design history until now has been centered on the West, and East was regarded as a beneficiary of civilization inherited from Western's. From the point of view of Western design history as a main trend, the unique characteristics of Korean design culture are not revealed. Therefore, through this studies, we want to distinguish Korea's modern design, which has been recognized as a minority. For the study, through the wallpaper, which is one of the detailed components of the interior space in modern times, we try to analyze the socio - cultural historical factors and design characteristics influencing the formation of the interior space in modern times. Summarizing a result of research. The early modern wallpaper of England mainly uses plants as motifs. But In Korea, animal patterns and letter patterns were used. The reason why European wallpaper was mainly a plant at the time was that the structure of the motif was useful for the process of creation. However, in the case of the Korean wallpaper pattern, the theme was selected according to the meaning of the motif, and it was abstracted appropriately for the 2D design. As a result, many geometric shapes were formed. In addition, European wallpaper pattern is more complex and organic than Korean wallpaper pattern. Therefore, the boundary of the central pattern as the basic unit is unclear and the patterns are connected. The pattern development method is not a simple repetition but a combination of symmetry and repetition. In Korea, on the other hand, the boundaries of unit patterns are clear and patterns are developed by simple repetition. There are many diamond-type repeating patterns in particular.

Issues raised by Swedish designers of that time induded how Sweden was achieving a national identity through design and how design retlected changes within society. The purpose of this study is to investigate the social reformation policy of the Swedish government during the 1930-1970 period and its influence on Swedish modern design. This paper, it is hoped, will provide an opportunity to place contemporary Swedish design in a social and aesthetic context.

  • Even though Korea has lost its important modern era due to Japanese colonialism, it is in the rank of advanced nation today. It is common to think that there was no creative and innovative design activity because it was highly constrained by design activities. Is there no creative idea or innovative design in this period of design activity? As a result of analyzing the various products of modern design left in the question, I was able to find a new and unique Innovation in 10 fields.
