The Railway Station for Passenger Transport is an important part of the railway transport business. It is also the main changing hub in the comprehensive traffic system in cities. 본 논문에서는 현재 국내에서 활발히 연구 개발되고 있는 전력선 통신 모뎀의 공인 시험을 위한 요구 사항을 분석하였다. 이를 위해 전력선 통신 기술의 표준화 및 기술 개발 동향과 Homeplug 표준화 단체에서 제시하는 전력선 통신 모뎀의 실험실 테스트 규정을 분석하였으며, 국내 전력선 통신 모뎀의 공인 시험을 위해서는 국내 전력선 통신 환경에 적합한 공인 시험 항목의 도출과 각 시험 항목별 시험 절차서 개발, 그리고 시험 결과에 대한 인중 체계의 수립이 필요함을 제시하였다.

This paper describes the development of the database system for tunnel management of Korea National Railways. In order to make the system both target independent and accessible by KNR network or modem, authors developed the system as a web-based application using java language and IBM DB2 database. The system includes the searching, reporting, graphical representation and statistical functions for tunnel data, maintenance records and checking records. Later, the system will be extended to include the process for tunnel state rating and maintenace prioritiy decision-making.

The basis of modem risk-based safety management is to focus on what might happen and ensure it is designed out of the system by robust hazard identification and risk analysis. However, in the real world things go wrong and it is essential to be prepared for the worst so that the response can minimise harm and loss of property and damage to the environment. Whilst some hazard mitigation measures are aimed at preventing incidents, others are venting escalation. The results of the tests concluded that the most effective means by the control room, both with and without, local station staff assistance using directive public address announcements and CCTV surveillance.

It is imperative that Schools of Pharmacy push the frontiers of their science. Those professions that do not do their own research are technical fields and not professions. With that imperative it is important to develop a perspective on the historic evolution of research in Schools of Pharmacy, that was in concert with the subject matter of the professional curriculum, and has changed somewhat in modem times to reflect not only our professional program but also our mandate to graduate student education and training and to elevate the status of schools of pharmacy in research intensive universities. There is considerable interest in the screening of higher plant extracts in modem drug discovery programs to discover new chemotypes with potent and selective biological activity. Such work may be performed in different laboratory settings, including those in academic institutions. In the case of cancer, plants offer the potential for the discovery of both cancer chemotherapeutic agents and cancer chemopreventives. (omitted)

초음파를 이용한 통신은 지상 통신에 비해 작은 대역폭을 사용하기 때문에 하나의 통신 주파수를 사용하거나 그 이상의 주파수를 사용한다. 또 수중 통신의 대역폭이 작기 때문에 사용 주파수가 다른 모뎀을 사용하더라도 서로 간섭이 발생되는 경우가 있어 통신을 할 수 없게 된다. 본 연구에서는 한 시스템에서 사용 주파수가 다른 모뎀을 사용할 때 서로간의 주파수 충돌을 회피함으로써 네트워크상에서 통신을 보장하는 미들웨어를 연구하고자 한다.

본 논문에서는 OFDM(Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) 시스템에서 사용되는 보호구간을 하드웨어로 효율적으로 구현할 수 있는 기법을 제안하고, OFDM기반의 25 Mbps 무선 ATM 모뎀에 적용하여 ASIC칩을 설계한다. OFDM 시스템에서는 가장 긴 delay spread 보다 긴 cyclic prefix를 삽입하여 채널의 선형 컨볼루션을 이산 Fourier 영역에서 circular 컨볼루션으로 변형함으로써 부채널간의 직교성을 유지하고, OFDM 블록내의 심볼간 간섭은 방지한다. 그러나 OFDM 시스템에서 이러한 cyclic prefix를 사용하기 위해서는 원래 샘플을 저장하고 각 블록의 시작 위치에 cyclic prefix를 붙이기 위한 추가적인 하드웨어가 송신단에서 요구된다. 본 논문에서는 cyclic suffix를 사용한 새로운 기법을 제안하고, 제안된 기법이 기존의 cyclic prefix 기법에 비하여 매우 적은 하드웨어로 동일한 성능을 갖게 됨을 확인한다. 마지막으로 제안된 기법을 OFDM기반의 25 Mbps 무선 ATM 모뎀의 ASIC칩 설계에 적용하여 그 성능을 확인한다.

본 논문지 MCNS(Multimedia Cable Network System) DOCSIS(Data Over Cable Service Interface Specification) v1.0/v1.1 표준안에 대응하는 케이블모뎀 수신단의 FS-DFE(Fractionally Spaced-Decision Feedback Equalize)에 적용될 다양한 LMS(Least Mean Square)알고리즘에 관하여 수렴특성, SER(Symbol Error Rate) 및 MSE(Mean Square Error) 성능, 하드웨어 복잡도 그리고 step-size(${\mu}$)와의 관계를 $SPW^{TM}$로 모델링하고, 그들 개개의 성능을 보여다. 그리고 Verilog-HDL을 이용하여 RTL 구조를 구성하였고, $SYNOPSYS^{TM}$을 통해 삼성 STD90 라이브러리로 합성하였다. 또한 본 논문에서는 최적의 하드웨어 구조를 가지기 위한 time-multiplexed multiplication 과 tap shared architecture구조를 채택하였다. 실험 결과를 통하여 LMS, DS(Data Signed)-LMS, ES(Error Signed)-LMS, SS(Signed Signed)-LMS[1][3]과 같은 다양한 LMS 알고리즘들 중 DS-LMS 알고리즘이 성능과 하드웨어를 고려한 최적의 알고리즘임을 보였고, DS-LMS 알고리즘 및 여러 가지 저면적 점유 기법을 이용하여 최대 58%까지 하드웨어 면적을 줄일 수 있었다.

The purpose of this study is to interpret the elegant dressing visualized in modem fashion on the basis of the concept of elegance in dress and its aesthetic characteristics from the holistic viewpoint. Elegance in dress is based upon the idea of aristocratic taste cultivated by good breeding, considering from the documentary study. It is expressed visually through not only the carefully contrived dress but also a sort of aura of dressed body with skillful ease. The aesthetic values of elegance consist of luxury, nobility, refinement, femininity, harmony. To grasp the trends of elegant styles since 1990s, contents analysis of the articles related to elegance in Vogue has been done. As a result, they have been classified into four groups of elegant styles which are Classic, Elaborate Couture, Soft Minimalism, Kitsch Elegance. Classic Elegance and Elaborate Couture Elegance represent traditional ones with conservative viewpoint. Soft Minimalism Elegance is a modem version of elegance. According to postmodernism as a open system, even kitsch has been refined to keep accompany with elegance fur aristocratic taste of high class. As a result of this study, in fashion from the 16th century to the first half of 16th century, elegance has been one of the significant aesthetic categories, resulting from the absolute domination of taste of high society. However in the end of 20th century it seems to start to fade in fashion trends such as mass fashion, youth culture, casual fashion etc. Rather, it can be thought that elegance has been expressed as one of the aesthetic values in dress, by virtue of its value of high class as well as its conservative stability.
