As the world becomes more globalized thanks to the fast development of the Internet, a national identity becomes more important than ever before. Based on this, the study searches for the identity of modern American architecture through exploring the influence of modem American fine arts on the contemporary architecture. It was found that the concepts and the attributes of modern American fine arts obviously transferred into the contemporary architecture. The main concept was elimination of any kind of illusion for maximization of reality, and it was rooted Into American culture, the way of life and thinking. With the concept, the attributes were divided into two extreme poles: materiality and morphology: the former was evolved from Abstract Expressionism and Post-Minimalism and transferred into Los Angeles Avant-Garde architecture; the latter was from Pop Art and transferred into Postmodern architecture and Pop Architecture.

The recent notion of Network Centric Warfare (NCW) emphasizes the ability to distribute right information at the right time to maximize the combat effectiveness. Accordingly, in the modern combat system the importance of non-physical element, such as communication system is increasing. However, an NCW-support communication network system is expensive. Therefore, it is essential to develop a proper combat system evaluation method to establish an efficient NCW-support combat system. Traditionally, combat system effectiveness is measured in terms of physical elements such as men and fire power. Obviously, such method is hardly applicable to a modern combat system To overcome this difficulty, we propose an evaluation model based on CA (Cellular Automata) simulation. A set of preliminary combat simulations show that CA simulation may be promising in evaluating non-physical element of a modem combat system.

본 논문에서는 data over cable service interface specifications (DOCSIS) 3.0 상향 케이블 모뎀에서 프리앰블을 이용하여 주파수 옵셋을 추정하고 보상하는 알고리즘에 대해 설명한다. 또한 본 논문에서 설명한 알고리즘을 적용한 컴퓨터 모의실험 결과를 보여준다. 송수신기에서 사용하는 오실레이터의 주파수 차이에 의해 주파수 옵셋이 발생하며 이를 얼마나 정확히 추정하여 보상하는가에 의해 수신기의 성능이 좌우된다. DOSCIS 3.0 상향 케이블 모뎀의 패킷 구조는 수신기에서 타이밍 동기나 주파수 옵셋 보상 그리고 채널 등화를 용이하게 하기 위해 송수신기간에 알고 있는 시퀀스를 보내는 프리앰블과 사용자 데이터를 보내는 페이로드로 구성된다. 본 논문에서는 여러 개의 constant amplitude zero autocorrelation (CAZAC) 시퀀스를 프리앰블로 사용하였으며 이 CAZAC 시퀀스를 이용하여 주파수 옵셋을 추정하고 보상하였다.

Nowadays comic strip(or comics) has surpassed its limits as a role of humor and amusement. And it has firmly established its role as a kind of public information and mass media. Furthermore it is used as materials for effective learning and human nature education to prevent the problems caused by rapid changes, and means to lessen or relax stress. The author will examine the specific ability, characteristics and potential of comics in this modem society. This paper will discuss the results caused by comic strip and show the possibility that comics can achieve the aim as a mass media

The influence of fluorescence, scattering, and absorbance in turbid material by light scattering was interpreted by the scattered fluorescence intensity and wavelength. The effect of optical property in scattering media was investigated. It is very important to study the charge coupled device(CCD) in spectrometry because we can use the molecular energy level, molecular structure, absorption or emission, intermolecular reaction, weakly bound molecular energy, photochemistry, fluorescence and photodynamic therapy. CCD is very essential to study the molecular structure and medical engineering combined laser spectroscopy in the modem physical and chemistry. Accordingly, this study has designed and manufactured the electromagnetic spectrometry with CCD, and has analyzed the hematoporphyrin derivative.

There have been numerous studies on the enhancement of the noisy speech signal. In this paper, we propose a completely new speech enhancement scheme, that is, a filtering of a dissonant frequency (especially F# in each octave of the tempered scale) based on the fundamental frequency which is developed in frequency domain. In order to evaluate the performance of the proposed enhancement scheme, subjective tests (MOS tests) were conducted. The subjective test results indicate that the proposed method provides a significant gain in audible improvement especially for speech contaminated by colored noise and speaking in a husky voice. Therefore when the filter is employed as a pre-filter for speech enhancement, the output speech quality and intelligibility is greatly enhanced.

The aim of this study is to examine the influence of foreign library classification schemes on the Chinese classification systems in the library. And the study is to analyze development process of three modem library classification schemes, the $\ulcorner$Renmin University of China's Library Books Classifications$\lrcorner$, $\ulcorner$Chinese Academy of Sciences's Library Books Classifications$\lrcorner$and $\ulcorner$Chinese Library Classification$\lrcorner$which are being used in many libraries in China where the library is regarded an important organization for performing the national policies.

This paper is aimed at investigating the influence of the fit between PDA (Personal Digital Assistant) driven mobile technology and tasks on performance. Our research motive was adopted from the burgeoning mobile technology which can be easily observed in modem management. Fit theory has been widely applied to proved the relationship between technology and tasks. However, there are few studies about the fit between mobile technology and tasks. A the advent of the IT, mobile technology started to affect individuals' lifestyle as well as the management style of firms. For the purpose of proving those hypotheses, we collected 173 questionnaires from 20 firms such as manufacturing industry, financial business, service company, telecommunication company which deem using the PDA technology for their management. We applied factor analysis and path analysis for our experiments Results revealed that the mobile technology holds a statistically significant fit with tasks and Individual characteristics.

As use of internet generalized laying stress on WWW(World Wide Web) service of multimedia based recently, we could acquire many informations that exist to all over the world's computer network. It is risen to important problem that use of internet acquires correct information rapidly on modem society which is generalized. This paper designed internet search engine and understand structure of that drawing URL which is optimized, and secure embodiment technology using OOPL(Object-Oriented Programming Language). Also, compare with existent domestic manufacture search engines and system that propose showed that the bad link rate is improved in this paper.

1994년 이래, 광대역 통신 시스템에 카오스 이론을 적용하는 연구가 지속되어 왔으며, 지금까지 여러 가지 변복조기술이 개발되어왔다. 변복조기술은 두 종류로 나눌수 있다. 첫째는 동기 복조 기술로, 동기에 의해 카오스 신호를 수신 신호로부터 재생하는 것이다. 그러나 카오스 동기 기술은 채널 잡음이나 왜곡에 매우 민감하며 이 기술은 무선 통신에 사용되기 힘들다. 둘째는 비동기로 복조를 하는 것이다. 본 논문은 비동기로 구현할 수 있는 여러 가지 카오스 통신 기술을 설명하고 임계값과 오율등을 비교 평가한다. 특히 비동기 FM-DCSK는 판정회로에 필요한 임계값이 잡음 레벨에 상관없이 0으로 임계값 선정이 쉽고 데이터율이 카오스 신호의 성질에 의해 제한되지 않음을 입증함으로서 앞으로 비동기 FM-DCSK가 카오스 디지털 CDMA 시스템의 기반기술로 응용될수 있음을 확인하였다.
