바우하우스 가구의 특성분석 (Analysis on Characteristics of Bauhaus Furniture)

  • Bauhaus, founded in Weimar, Germany in 1919, represented Modernism which is proven in the field of art as well as architecture. Furthermore, in design field, Bauhaus is the essential historical event whose influence continues in contemporary design. Bauhaus furniture is simple and austere and has linear shapes which are suitable for mass production. Bauhaus developed functional furniture design such as knock-down and pre-fabricated furniture. In terms of finishes, Bauhaus furniture epitomizes the influence of De Stijl which used either achromatic colors and three primary colors or natural finishes of wood. Bauhaus contributed to furniture design field as below. 1. Success in mass-produced furniture through standardization and pre-fabrication 2.   • After 1950's, criticizing uniformity of modem architecture, a number of architectural theories and works which represet the identity of each region have appeared. However it is not a systematic theory but an attitude which approaching to design rather than new architectural trend or theory. Therefore, the thesis studied the general concept about regionalism and analyzed of the City Hall showing the regional identity. Finally this study intend to explain the detailed method of expressing regional identity created by architects by investigating the formal characteristics of regionalism and relationship with various context.

  • 현재 확산대역(Spread Spectrum) 사용을 위해 미국 FCC에서 허가한 band는 902-928 MHz, 2400-2483.5 MHz, 5725-5850 MHz ISM(Industrial Science Medical)이다. 본 연구에서는 902-928 MHz ISM band 에서 디지털 코드없는 전화기 시스템의 공용을 검토하였다. 본고는 디지털 코드없는 전화기 Base-Set(BS)과 2개의 Hand-set(HS)를 지원가능한 Feature & Capability, System Specification, 제품 시스템 디자인을 담고 있다.

르 꼬르뷰제 건축공간에서 빛의 연출에 대한 연구 (A Study on the stage effect of Light in the Architectural space of Le Corbusier)

  • This study is intended to analyze the way of incorporating the effect of natural light into the architectural space design by Le Cobusier. The composition of modem architectural space is significantly different from that of classical architecture. Such transition is attributable to the change of tectonic method which was supported by the development of new materials and structural systems. In addition, the effect of natural light systems which is one of the main elements in architectural space has undergone significant changes in modern ages. Moreover, Le Corbusier introduces the new concept of natural light in his works. By bringing the above two trends together, this study analyzed the way how Le Cobusier applied light effect in his works. Specifically, findings regarding the 'traffic flow in the space' with the light, 'elevation effect' with the 'Brise soleil' in Le Cobusier's works were presented. And also the way of lighting the object in the space was presented.

  • 최근 정보통신기술은 통신서비스의 공급자들이 개별적으로 구축하여 운영하고 있는 네트워크 시스템에 일관된 자원 및 네트워크의 보안 체계 구축을 도입하고 있다. 그래서 다양한 접속망을 통하여 멀티미디어 통신서비스를 수행한다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 초고속 통신망에서의 DHCP 프로토콜을 기반으로 한 IP 할당 방법을 알아보고, 이를 이용하여 유동 IP를 할당받아 xDSL모뎀, AP, 사용자 PC 등의 부팅 순서에 따라 IP 할당의 성공 또는 실패가 발생할 수 있는 경우를 분석하여 사용자에게 최적의 서비스품질을 제공하고자 한다.

  • The acoustic target strength (TS) is one of the most important parameters for a submarine's stealth design. Because modem submarines are larger than their predecessors, TS must be managed at each design stage in order to reduce it. To predict the TS of a submarine, TASTRAN R1 was developed based on a Kirchhoff approximation in a high-frequency range. This program can present TS values that include multi-bounce effect in the exterior and interior of the structure by combining geometric optics (GO) and physical optics (PO) methods, anechoic coating effect by using the reflection coefficient, and response time pattern for a detected target. In this paper, TS calculations for a submarine model with the above effects are simulated by using this developed program, and the TS results are discussed.

차세대 DSRC 패킷 통신 기술 개발 (Development of Advanced DSRC Packet Communication Technology)

  • 본 논문에서는 한국전자 통신 연구원에서 연구 개발한 차세대 DSRC 패킷 통신 기술을 소개하였다. 차세대 DSRC 패킷 통신 시스템의 요구 사항, 목표 시스템 규격, 차세대 DSRC 패킷 통신시스템의 구조에 대하여 설명하였다. 차세대 DSRC 시스템은 최대 24 Mbps 데이터를 5.8GHz 대역으로 전송하는 고속 패킷 통신 시스템으로 기존의 ITS 서비스뿐 아니라 모바일 오피스 서비스를 지원한다. 현재 차세대 DSRC 시스템은 각 모듈 별 기능 시험을 실시하였으며 차세대 DSRC RE 모듈의 front end부분에 대한 MMIC(microwave monolithic integrated circuit) 개발하였다. 본 차세대 DSRC 패켓 통신 시스템은 Mobile PC 제조산업, 차량 탑재 무선 인터넷 산업, 차세대 이동통신으로 차량에 탑재되는 고속 무선 인터넷 단말기로서 모바일 인터넷, 게임 등 모바일 오피스 응용 및 텔레매틱스 서비스 차세대 이동통신 산업 발전에 기여할 것으로 기대된다

TV 유휴대역 응용을 위한 무선 영상전송 시스템 (A Wireless Video Streaming System for TV White Space Applications)

  • 본 논문에서는 TV 유휴대역에서 가능한 응용서비스중 하나로서, UHF 대역(470~806 MHz)에서 동작하는 무선 영상전송 시스템을 구현하였다. 이 시스템은 RF 송수신기 모듈, 디지털 모뎀, 카메라, 스크린으로 구성된다. RF 송수신기와 디지털 모뎀을 연동하여 VGA급 화질의 카메라 영상을 2.6 인치 LCD 스크린에 표시하는 방식이다. RF 송수신기 구조는 크기와 비용을 줄이기 위해 직접변환 방식을 채택하였다. 성능지표인 Image Leakage를 향상시키기 위하여 PLL의 출력에 3차 하모닉 제거필터를 사용하였으며, DC offset 문제 해결을 위해 DAC 출력노드에 Current steering technique을 이용하여 공통모드 전압을 조절하게 하였다. 또한, 채널대역폭은 국가별 표준을 맞게 6, 7, 8 MHz 중 선택이 가능하다. 출력 파워와 수신감도는 각각 +10 dBm, -82 dBm이다. 디지털모뎀은 Kintex-7급 FPGA에서 구현하였다. QPSK와 512ch OFDM 변조를 기반으로 전송속도는 약 9 Mbps이다. 개발된 송수신 모듈을 이용하여 VGA급 화질을 무선으로 송수신하는데 성공하였다.

프레데릭 로 옴스테드의 도시공원관에 대한 재해석 (Reinterpreting Frederick Law Olmsted's Idea of Urban Parks)

  • Urban park are indispensable elements of contemporary cities. However, the structure and culture of contemporary cities is currently changing. There are prevalent discourses that Olmstedian parte are no longer relevant to our new societies and cultures. New kinds of parks have emerged with different forms and functions. In order to propose a new paradigm for parks in the 21st century, we need to look back to the origin of modem parks, which is to say, Olmstedian parte. This paper aims to trace the background of park movements in the 19th century America and to identify and describe Olmsted's idea of urban parks. In addition, the paper will clarify the limitations and reinterpret the meaning of Olmsted's idea of urban parks. One idea behind the development of urban parte was to mitigate urban problems such as public health, alcoholism violence and class conflicts in 19th century industrial cities. The aim of urban park was partially achieved at that time. However, those parse did not serve the use of diverse classes. Olmstedian parks were designed for passive and civilized recreation, and lower classes were more attracted by active theme parks and areas such as Coney Island and John Wood. The strengths of Olmsted's idea of urban parte can be outlined as follows: First, designing parte goes beyond shaping physical lands to embrace social reforms. This means that park designers should have a critical understanding of society and culture. Also, landscape designers should have a bold vision for the future. Without such a vision and social agenda, landscape architects cannot postulate alternative possibilities through engaging in new practices. Second, Olmsted successfully adapted British landscape aesthetic ideas such as the picturesque, the sublime and the beautiful into an American context. Finally, his vision and idea of urban parks show us that landscape architecture is not just technical work, but that it can create a locus to engage a new cultural praxis by inventing cultural products - parks.
