혈액투석 환자의 우울과 삶의 질에서 질병인식의 통제효과 (Control Effect of Illness Perception on Depression and Quality of Life in Patients with Hemodialysis: Using Structural Equation Modeling)

  • Purpose: This study aimed to evaluate the effect of illness perception on depression and quality of life in patients with hemodialysis. Methods: This is a cross-sectional study using structural equation modeling. Depression, quality of life and cognitive and emotional illness perceptions were measured by the Center for Epidemiologic Studies Depression-10 (CESD-10), Short Form-36 version 2 (SF-36v2), and Brief Illness Perception Questionnaire (BIPQ) in 272 hemodialysis patients. Results: Prevalence of depression was 76.1%, and higher in female patients on hemodialysis. Cognitive illness perception had effect on depression and quality of life, while emotional illness perception had effect only on depression. Quality of life was explained 69.6% through depression (${\beta}=-.74$, t= -8.17) and cognitive illness perceptions (${\beta}=.21$, t= 3.06), while depression was explained 40.5% through cognitive (${\beta}=-.34$, t= -5.99) and emotional (${\beta}=.59$, t= 9.37) illness perceptions. Conclusion: In the inevitable choice of dialysis, illness perception could decrease depression and improve quality of life in hemodialysis patients.

QUAL2E, QUAL2K 및 CAP 모델을 이용한 금강 하류 하천구간 정상상태 수질모델링 결과 비교 분석 (Comparative Analysis of QUAL2E, QUAL2K and CAP Steady State Water Quality Modeling Results in Downstream Areas of the Geum River, Korea)

  • 하천의 수질은 하천 흐름, 오염원 유입 그리고 하천내부의 수질변화 기작에 따라 변화한다. 일반적으로 하천의 수질모의는 시간의 흐름에 영향을 받지 않는 정상상태에 대하여 실시하나, 실제로 이러한 상황은 존재하지 않는 것이 현실이다. 따라서 하천의 수질상태에 대한 각종 정보가 정확하다고 하여도 수질모델에서 가정하는 근본적인 조건이 다른 경우 오차의 발생은 필연적인 사실이 된다. 본 연구는 하천의 수질모델링에 자주 사용되는 QUAL2E와 미국환경부에서 새로 개발하고 있는 QUAL2K 그리고 저자들이 개발한 CAP 수질모델을 금강의 대청댐 하류 약 30 km 구간에 대한 집중적인 현장 실측을 통해 확보한 자료를 이용하여 적용하여 모델링 결과를 비교하고 해당 지역의 수질모델링에 나타나는 오차의 원인을 밝혀내고자 수행되었다. 전체적으로 BOD5 및 COD의 경우 실측치보다 약간씩 낮게 모의되는 경향을 나타내었으며 TN과 TP의 경우 상대적으로 양호한 모의결과를 보이고 있다. 모델별로는 $BOD_5$와 TP의 경우 QUAL2E모델이, TN의 경우 QUAL2K모델이 가장 작은 오차를 나타내었으나 모델별로 오차정도의 차이가 유의성이 있다고 판단하기는 어렵다고 본다. 본 연구에서 모델링 오차의 가장 큰 원인에는 첫째, 정상상태 수질 모형이 하천의 수리동역학적 유동특성을 잘 반영하기 어렵다는 것과, 둘째, 현장에는 육안으로는 발견되지 않는 수많은 오염원이 존재하며 아직까지는 이를 체계적으로 추적하지 못하고 있다는 것, 셋째, 수질분석을 위해 하안에서 시료채취를 유입지천 또는 오염원이 완전하게 혼합되지 못한 상태에서 시행할 수 있는데 이에 대한 고려가 충분하지 못한 것을 들 수 있다.

  • Purpose: The paper presents research that examine relationship difference education quality, satisfaction, loyalty in university education sector. Specifically, the effects of difference education quality on student satisfaction and loyalty in the context of education quality are examined. Methods: A model of difference education quality effect on student satisfaction and loyalty is introduced and tested in the university using student perceptions of provider. Questionnaire was developed, and data was collected and analyzed for this study with SEM(Structural Equation Modeling). Results: The results are as follows: Education capability, BNIE(Business Newspaper In Education) are significantly influenced on student satisfaction. In addition, student satisfaction is significantly influence on external customer satisfaction, professor image. Professor image is significantly influence on student loyalty. Conclusion: Upon learning of student need and want, professor can focus on development of difference education quality based on student need and want.

  • This paper presents an automated construction quality nonconformity control method. Existing quality control process are confined attributed to the dependence on human quality personnels. They are inefficiency for continuos quality improvements and may cause project schedule delays when any nonconformity is handled timely fashion. For sure, It is important to identify the add hoc quality nonconformity control processes and to implement them into an automated system that controls its' work-flow. It would be desirable to develop the construction project quality nonconformity control system using Building information modeling(BIM) and Information and Communications Technologies(ICT). It may provide an effective platform to prevent quality issues that exist in the existing quality management practice.

A Methodology for Integrating Business Process and Simulation for Business Process Redesign

  • IDEF0 is the IEEE standard for functional enterprise modeling and has been used for business process modeling or process mapping in US and Europe. But it does not reflect the potential benefits of modeling and simulation of the dynamic aspects of an enterprise or a system. On the other hand, simulation tools concentrate mostly on the simulation of material flows and are difficult to include information flows and control flows. Additionally, the simulation models that include elements such as queues, event generators and process nodes is a visual interactive representation for the model builder, but is inconvenient for the domain expert. In an attempt to fill that void, we provide an integration of business process and simulation models in this paper. An enhancement of the IDEF0, called parameterized IDEF0, is proposed and its conversion mechanism to network simulation model is developed. Using this methodology, business process models for alternative systems can be evaluated and compared through simulation on time, cost, and quality metrics. As an application of the proposed methodology, economic evaluation of EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) for time-based BPR (Business Process Redesign) is demonstrated. In addition to BPR, the developed methodology may be further integrated with ABC (Activity Based Costing), TQM (Total Quality Management), and economic evaluation of information systems.

  • 건설 산업에서 BIM의 도입과 활용이 증가하면서 BIM모델의 작성과 관리, 납품, 품질검토 등에 대한 요구가 늘어나고 있다. 이를 위해서는 BIM과 관련된 각종 지침이나 기준, 매뉴얼, 가이드라인 등의 개발과 보급, 확산 등이 필요한 상황이다. 또한 BIM을 활용한 발주가 증가함에 따라 BIM모델에 대한 품질의 검증과 평가의 정량화에 대한 요구가 증대되고 있다, 이에 본 논문에서는 BIM의 품질에 대한 정의와 특징을 이해하고 BIM기준에 대한 국내외 현황을 파악하였으며, 특히 BIM의 품질과 관련된 내용을 중점적으로 조사, 분석함으로써 향후 BIM의 품질을 관리하는데 필요한 최소한의 기준을 설정하였다.

수자원 보전을 위한 유역통합관리 방안에 관한 연구(II) - 오십천 수계의 수질모델링 및 수질 예측 - (Study in the integrated watershade management for conservation of water resources (II) - Water quality modeling and simulation of Oship stream -)

  • Oship stream is located nearby south eastern coasts. This study was performed to find out waters quality modeling and then to predict water quality of Oship stream. Based on survey data, BOD, T-N, T-P calibration and verification result were in good agreement with measured value within mean coefficient variance(MSE) value, which were 13.9%, 9.0%, 26.5% and 19.5%, 12.0%, 16.5%, respectively. Sectional water quality predictions of the main stream of Oship stream are executed on the basis of the following cases 1) with sewage treatment of Dogye-eup 2) reduction of mine wastewater treatment of 80% in th basin. As a result, BOD, T-P improvement rates at down stream of Oship stream, case 1) were appeared 12.2%, 22.2%, case 2) maximum sulfate ion and conductivity reduction removal rate of Oship stream were 58%, 68%. The main pollution sources of Oship-stream were almost domestic wastewater and mine wastewater discharged from Dogye-eup which located in uppers stream. The large effects will appear after the construction of Dogye sewage water treatment plant which remove the organic matter and nutrients in these sewage water. The waste water from mine can not easily to treat for characteristics of effluence and economic problems. However, to achieve the goal of water quality in Oship-stream water system, treatments of those are necessary.

Modeling the Relationship between Land Cover and River Water Quality in the Yamaguchi Prefecture of Japan

  • This study investigated the relationship between land cover and the water quality variables in the rivers, which are located in the Yamaguchi prefecture of West Japan. The study area included 12 catchments covering $5,809\;Km^2$. pH, dissolved oxygen, suspended solid, E. coli, total nitrogen and total phosphorus were considered as river water quality variables. Satellite data was applied to generate land cover map. For linking alterations in land cover (at whole catchment and buffer zone levels) and the river water quality variables, multiple regression modeling was applied. The results indicated that non-spatial attribute (%) of land cover types (at whole catchment level) consistently explained high amounts of variation in biological oxygen demand (72%), suspended solid (72%) and total nitrogen (87%). At buffer zone-scale, multiple regression models that were developed to represent the linkage between the alterations of land cover and the river water quality variables could also explain high level of total variations in suspended solid (86%) and total nitrogen (91%).

전지구 대기질 재분석 자료의 평가와 국지규모 미세먼지 예보모델에 미치는 영향 (Assessment of Global Air Quality Reanalysis and Its Impact as Chemical Boundary Conditions for a Local PM Modeling System)

  • The initial and boundary conditions are important factors in regional chemical transport modeling systems. The method of generating the chemical boundary conditions for regional air quality models tends to be different from the dynamically varying boundary conditions in global chemical transport models. In this study, the impact of real time Copernicus atmosphere monitoring service (CAMS) re-analysis data from the modeling atmospheric composition and climate project interim implementation (MACC) on the regional air quality in the Korean Peninsula was carried out using the community multi-scale air quality modeling system (CMAQ). A comparison between conventional global data and CAMS for numerical assessments was also conducted. Although the horizontal resolution of the CAMS re-analysis data is not higher than the conventionally provided data, the simulated particulate matter (PM) concentrations with boundary conditions for CAMS re-analysis is more reasonable than any other data, and the estimation accuracy over the entire Korean peninsula, including the Seoul and Daegu metropolitan areas, was improved. Although an inland area such as the Daegu metropolitan area often has large uncertainty in PM prediction, the level of improvement in the prediction for the Daegu metropolitan area is higher than in the coastal area of the western part of the Korean peninsula.
