  • This study validated the strategic alignment approach for e-Transformation of the traditional firm through the case analysis of e-Transformation practices performed in Pulmuone Inc., which had been managed and operated in a traditional mode. The e-Transformation approach identified in this study was focused upon the strategic alignment among 4 domains of business strategy, organizational infrastructure and processes, IT strategy, and IT infrastructure and processes, and was performed in the following process: 1) developing IT strategy to perform business strategy, 2) building IT infrastructure and processes to support IT strategy, and then 3) transforming organizational infrastructure and processes based on IT infrastructure and processes. The theoretical implication of this study is to empirically verify the Strategic Alignment Model hypothesized by Henderson and Venkatraman(1994) through the case analysis on e-Transformation of Korean traditional firm, and the practical contribution is to provide a feasible and effective guideline in carrying out e-Transformation of the typical traditional organization.

  • This paper compares three statistical models that examine the relationship between national and provincespecific fertility rates. The three models are two of the regression models and a cointegration model. The regression model is by substituting Gompit transformation for the cumulative fertility rate by the average for ten years, and this model applies the raw data without transformation of the fertility data. A cointegration model can be considered when fitting the unstable time series of fertility rate in probability process. This paper proposes the following when it is intended to derive the relation of non-stationary fertility rate between the national and provinces. The cointegrated relationship between national and regional fertility rates is first derived. Furthermore, if this relationship is not significant, it is proposed to look at the national and regional fertility rate relationships with a regression model approach using raw data without transformation. Also, the regression model method of substituting Gompit transformation data resulted in an overestimation of fertility rates compared to other methods. Finally, Seoul, Busan, Daegu, Incheon, Gwangju, Daejeon and Gyeonggi province are expected to show a total fertility rate of 1.0 or less from 2025 to 2030, so an urgent and efficient policy to raise this level is needed.

  • A thermodynamic model was developed to analyze the characteristics of the heat generation during transformation of austenite in 0.186wt% and 0.458 wt%. carbon steels. The heat capacity and the heat evolved during transformation were formulated as functions of temperature and chemical composition for ferrite bainite and pearlite. in addition using the transformation dilatometer the transformation heat evolved during cooling was measured and the transformation behavior was observed. It was found that the heat capacity of ferrite was similar to those of pearlite and bainite. The heat capacity of ferrite was greater than that of bainite which was greater than that of pearlite. The molar heat of transformation to pearlite was greater than that to bainite which was greater than that to ferrite. The heats were found to be increased with decreased temperature and increasing the carbon content, It was also observed that the thermodynamic model. The heat of transformation in the higher carbon steel was greater than that in the lower carbon one. This was attributed to the lower transformation temperature and the greater amount of transformed pearlite in the higher carbon steel.

  • Single-Page Application(SPA) requires data transformation for communication with RESTful API. The Backend for Frontend(BFF) pattern handles this transformation in the server, but there is some problem that increases the number of communication and makes development and distribution difficult. In this study, we propose an architecture that maps the ViewModel of SPA and the model of RESTful API directly in SPA. The proposed architecture automatically generates a mapping model between the RESTful API model and the ViewModel using the OpenAPI specification, which is the document model of the RESTful API. The data transfer component of SPA automatically converts RESTful API data and ViewModel using the created model. As a result of comparison with the existing BFF method through case study, the proposed architecture showed higher development productivity than BFF, and as a result of load tests, it recorded about 6% lower server CPU occupancy compared to BFF.

  • In order to create a solid model more efficiently for a plastic or sheet metal product with a thin and constant thickness, various methods have been proposed up to now. One of the most typical approaches is to create a sheet model initially and then transform it into a solid model automatically for a given thickness. The sheet model as well as the transitive model in sheet modeling procedure is a non-manifold model. However, the previous methods adopted the boundary representations for a solid model as their topological framework. Thus, it is difficult to represent the exact adjacency relationship between topological entities and to implement the topological operations for sheet modeling and the transformation procedure of a sheet into a solid. In this paper, we proposed a sheet modeling system based on a non-manifold topological representation which can represent solids, sheets, wireframes, and their mixture. A set of generalized Euler operators for non-manifold topology as well as the sheet modeling capabilities including adding, bending, and punching functions are provided for easy modeling of sheet objects, and they are perfomed interactively with a two dimensional curve editor. Once a sheet model is completed, it can be transformed into a solid automatically. The transformation procedure is composed of the offset functions and the Boolean operations of sheet models, and it is even more comprehensive and easier to be implemented than the precious methods.

  • AC machines are in wide use in industry and d-q transformation from 3 phase of a, b, c is commonly used to analyze these kinds of machines. The equivalent circuits of d and q axis are, however, generally cross coupled and difficult to analyze. In this study, a modeling technique of AC machine including induction and PM synchronous motors using matrix vector is proposed. With that model, it can not only explain the AC machines physically but also make it simple to analyze them. The separating process of d and q components is not needed in this model and this model can be applied to analyze asymmetric motors like IPMSM machine. With this technique, the model becomes simple, easy to understand physically, and yields results that are the same as those from other models. These simulation results of the proposed model for induction motor are compared with those of other models to verify the method proposed.

  • A model is developed to quantitatively analyze the dilatometry curve of carbon steel for the evaluation of phase fraction during transformation. The effect of anisotropic volume change due to transformation mismatch plasticity as well as carbon enrichment in austenite during the transformation is considered in the developed model. The developed model is applied for the analysis of dilatometry curves of carbon steels. The result shows that considering the anisotropic dilatation is very essential to quantitatively evaluate the phase fraction from the dilatation curve.

  • The main purpose of the present study was to investigate coordinate transformation based on two different systems: one was the World Geodetic System 1984(WGS84) adopted as a reference system for GPS satellite surveying;and another was the current Korean geodetic system based on Bessel ellipsoid. For this purpose, three methods were used to determine 7 parameters as follows: Bursa-Wolf model, Molodensky-Badekas model, and Veis model. The coordinate transformation was carried out using simillity transformation applied the obtained 7 parameters and the precision of transformed coordinate was evaluated. From this results, we found that Bursa-wolf model is more suitable than others for the determination of transformation parameters in Korea.

  • The purpose of this study is to detect the factors which have an effect on transformation level and performance and to provide the ways of successful transformation and vitalization from OEM to ODM. This study was proceeded by an empirical analysis. A model and hypotheses were set up and they were verified through the empirical analysis. Those factors were divided into four, inner company factors, strategic factors, core competence factors and purchase determining factors. In the result of the model suitability analysis on the study model of relationship among 'influencing factors of ODM transformation - ODM transformation level-export performance', every factors, $X^2=912.067$, DF=261, p value=0.000, GFI=0.737, AGFI=0.620, NFI=0.786, IFI=0.837, CFI=0.834, Q value=3.495 were rather insufficient to be a good model, but they were good enough for the general analysis. Taking these accounts into consideration, this study suggests the following implications. First, making a plan and setting up strategies in advance are required. Second, financial plan has to be prepared. Third, trends in global markets have to be analyzed. Fourth, companies have to focus on developing new materials and products through R&D. Fifth, quality competitiveness and quality control systems are required.
