스마트 폰 애플리케이션 서비스 품질의 개선 (Service Quality Improvement of Smart Phone Application)

  • Smart phones have brought rapid changes in this competitive world. Smart phone application developers are trying their best to consider the customer requirements in the most efficient way while considering all its attributes. However smart phone service quality has been given less consideration comparatively during the last few years. This paper proposes a measurement method for improving service quality of smart phone application. This method combines the service quality performance model (SQPM) and process capability index (PCI). The service quality performance model is used to identify service items that require improvement. Process capability index is used as a measure for prioritization of those improvements. Case study was carried out to search out important communication application service attributes. customer satisfaction level data was collected for users who used the application service. A total of twenty four service attributes were found during this survey. Using the joint approach of SQPM and PCI, five significant service attributes were prioritized for service quality improvement.

  • 본 연구는 Treffinger의 창의적 문제해결 수업모형에 따라 작성한 CPS 수업 과정안을 정보생활 수업에 적용하였을 때 아동의 창의성에 미치는 효과를 확인하는 것이다. 연구의 실천을 위하여 실험교과로 즐거운 컴퓨터 교과를 선정하여 내용을 재구성하고,Treffinger의 창의적 문제해결 수업모형에 따라 CPS 수업 과정안을 작성하여 1개의 실험집단에 적용하여 10주 간 총 20시간 동안 실험 처치를 한다. 실험처치 후 사전검사와 동일한 창의성 검사를 실시하여 실험집단의 창의성 향상의 차이를 알아본다.

Kano 모델과 PCSI 지수 이용한 국방품질보증 서비스품질에 관한 연구 (A study on Service Quality of Defence Quality Assurance Activites using Kano Model & PCSI Index)

  • Purpose: Classify quality assurance work for munitions as service quality attributes. And to derive service elements that need improvement to improve customer satisfaction through calculation of customer satisfaction coefficient. Methods: The quality assurance service for munitions is classified as service quality based on the Kano model through a questionnaire survey of workers in military service companies located in Busan and Kyung-nam areas. Investigate current customer satisfaction with service quality of defense quality assurance activites, and calculate customer satisfaction coefficient and potential customer satisfaction improvement index. Results: Identify current satisfaction levels for service quality of defense quality assurance activites and suggest service quality factors that should be improved to improve customer satisfaction. Conclusion: The service quality factor for the defense quality assurance service was classified into 13, and the customer satisfaction coefficient was lower than the satisfaction coefficient. When looking at the current level of customer satisfaction through the Potential Customer Satisfaction Index, attractive quality factors with PCSI indices were found to be necessary for service improvement.

플라스틱 관종의 물리적 상태예측모형 개발 (A Study of Physical Condition Predicting Model Development of Plastic Pipes in Water Mains)

  • This study suggested a model that can predict a degradation condition over time of two plastic pipes, PE and PVC, which are currently used in the country. This study was analyzed physical characteristics change of plastic pipes by comparison with initial physical characteristics (on the case of new pipes). Since this is dependent on accidents that already occurred, there are limitations that it only decides a priority on improvement based on relative corrosion status rather than precautionary aspects. The comparison results between physical degradation by the deducted performance rating and a conventional numerical scoring method showed that correlation coefficient was 0.67 for PE pipes and 0.86 for PVC pipes, indicating a high correlation. According to this result, it has been decided that the performance rating suggested herein can be applied naturally to the criterion of an improvement decision, which was based on Scoring System. From results of the research, it is expected that a reliable result can be provided to an improvement decision process related to degradation of plastic pipes by comprehensively comparing and evaluating a condition of pipe materials(direct factors) and an environmental impact(indirect factors).

  • 본 논문에서는 Rummler 모델 기반의 케이블 채널에서 OFDM/64QAM 시스템의 성능을 시뮬레이션을 수행하여 평가하고, 적응 LMS 등화기를 적용하여 성능 개선 정도를 평가하였다. 성능 평가 결과, Rummler Two-ray 채널에서 반사파에 대한 감쇠계수(b)가 0.15 이하인 경우에는 등화기를 채용하여야 성능 개선 정도가 크게 이루어짐을 알 수 있었다. 그리고 b가 0.15이상인 경우에는 등화기를 채용해도 Eb/No에 관계없이 거의 동일한 성능이 얻어짐을 알 수 있었다.

터널 환기용 제트홴의 성능 향상을 위한 수치최적화 (Numerical Optimization for Performance Improvement of a Tunnel Ventilation Jet fan)

  • This paper presents an optimization procedure for performance improvement of a tunnel ventilation jet fan. Optimization techniques based on response surface approximation (RSA) are employed to improve the aerodynamic performance of a tunnel ventilation jet fan. For numerical analysis, three-dimensional Renolds- averaged Navier-Stokes (RANS) equations with shear stress transport turbulence model are discretized by using finite volume approximations and solved on hexahedral grids to evaluate the total efficiency at the operating condition as the objective function. Four geometric variables defining the meridional length and the thickness profile at the hub and shroud in the jet fan rotor are selected as design variables for the numerical optimization. The results of the numerical optimization show that the total efficiency of the optimized model is significantly improved in comparison with the base model.

신경망을 이용한 동적 수율 개선 모형 (Dynamic Yield Improvement Model Using Neural Networks)

  • Yield is a very important measure that can expresses simply for productivity and performance of company. So, yield is used widely in many industries nowadays. With the development of the information technology and online based real-time process monitoring technology, many industries operate the production lines that are developed into automation system. In these production lines, the product structures are very complexity and variety. So, there are many multi-variate processes that need to be monitored with many quality characteristics and associated process variables at the same time. These situations have made it possible to obtain super-large manufacturing process data sets. However, there are many difficulties with finding the cause of process variation or useful information in the high capacity database. In order to solve this problem, neural networks technique is a favorite technique that predicts the yield of process for process control. This paper uses a neural networks technique for improvement and maintenance of yield in manufacturing process. The purpose of this paper is to model the prediction of a sub process that has much effect to improve yields in total manufacturing process and the prediction of adjustment values of this sub process. These informations feedback into the process and the process is adjusted. Also, we show that the proposed model is useful to the manufacturing process through the case study.

Discrimination of neutrons and gamma-rays in plastic scintillator based on spiking cortical model

  • In this study, a spiking cortical model (SCM) based n-g discrimination method is proposed. The SCM-based algorithm is compared with three other methods, namely: (i) the pulse-coupled neural network (PCNN), (ii) the charge comparison, and (iii) the zero-crossing. The objective evaluation criteria used for the comparison are the FoM-value and the time consumption of discrimination. Experimental results demonstrated that our proposed method outperforms the other methods significantly with the highest FoM-value. Specifically, the proposed method exhibits a 34.81% improvement compared with the PCNN, a 50.29% improvement compared with the charge comparison, and a 110.02% improvement compared with the zero-crossing. Additionally, the proposed method features the second-fastest discrimination time, where it is 75.67% faster than the PCNN, 70.65% faster than the charge comparison and 38.4% slower than the zero-crossing. Our study also discusses the role and change pattern of each parameter of the SCM to guide the selection process. It concludes that the SCM's outstanding ability to recognize the dynamic information in the pulse signal, improved accuracy when compared to the PCNN, and better computational complexity enables the SCM to exhibit excellent n-γ discrimination performance while consuming less time.

국내 대학생의 기대이론을 적용한 LINC 참여 연구 (A Study on Participation of Korean University Students at LINC Applying the Expectancy Theory)

  • 본 연구는 Vroom의 기대이론을 적용하여 LINC 사업 참여 대학생의 동기부여적 요소를 규명하고, 실제 참여 행동 및 개인의 성과 개선에 미치는 영향을 실증적으로 검증하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 동기부여의 요소는 유의성, 수단성, 기대와 같이 세 가지 항목으로 구성하였으며, 대상의 인구통계학적 특성의 차이를 비교 검증하는 것과 더불어 유의성 모형과 힘 모형의 두 가지 모형을 구분하여 참여 행동 및 성과에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 전국의 대학생을 대상으로 총 236부의 데이터를 확보하였으며, 이에 따른 분석 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 인구통계학적 특성에 따른 비교분석에서는 학년, 전공, 거주지역에 따른 동기부여요소의 평균차이는 없었으며, 유일하게 성별의 경우 여성이 남성보다 LINC 사업 참여에 따른 유의성(매력성)을 더 높게 인식하는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 유의성 모형과 힘 모형 모두 LINC 사업 참여 행동 및 개인의 성과 개선에 유의한 영향이 있는 것으로 확인되었다. 특히, 유의성 모형보다 힘 모형이 전체 모형의 설명력과 영향력이 더 높은 것으로 나타났다. 결과적으로 유의성, 수단성, 기대와 같은 세 가지 동기부여 요소가 모두 발현되었을 때 더욱 적극적인 참여행동과 높은 성과를 창출한다고 판단할 수 있다. 셋째, 매개효과의 경우도 마찬가지로 유의성 모형에 비해 힘 모형의 직접효과, 간접효과, 총효과가 더 큰 것으로 나타났으며, 세 가지 동기부여적 요소가 개인의 성과를 향상시키는데 참여 행동이 부분 매개효과를 가지고 있는 것으로 나타났다.

6시그마 기법을 적용한 원자력 터빈 시뮬레이터의 발전기 출력 연산오차 저감 (The Reduction of Generator Output Calculation by Using 6σ Method on Steam Turbine Simulator in a Nuclear Power Plant)

  • This paper describes the improvement of the calculation by using $6{\sigma}$ method on steam turbine simulator in a nuclear power plant. The simulator is essential to not only verification and validation of control logic but also making sure of control constants in upgrading the long time used control system into the new one. And the dynamic model is a key point in that simulator. The model used during the retrofit period of the turbine controller in Kori Nuclear Power Plant makes difference in calculating generator output and control valve positions. That is because such operating data as the main steam pressure, the main steam temperature and control valve positions of Yongkwang #3 are different from those of Kori #4. Therefore, the model parameters must be tuned by using actual operating data for the high fidelity of simulator in calculating the dynamic characteristic of the model. This paper describes that the $6{\sigma}$ method is used in improvement of precision of generator output calculation in the steam turbine model of the simulator.
