  • In this paper, We studied optimum service model of passenger car monitoring system at limited wireless bandwidth subway and railway. High bandwidth is better if we need more services. But, high bandwidth requires more cost at tunnel of subway. More bandwidth make receive sensitivity to bad. We deduced best bandwidth of subway wireless transmission system reflecting the cost of installation and efficiency of system. Consequently, we decide efficient service model of passenger car monitoring system.

  • In this paper an assessment has been proceeded about component technology that stamping car panel can be designed and manufactured efficiently. Also this study investigate standard model of CAD/CAM system in production process of automobile dies, Recently, motor companies are doing their best to increase productivity and to reduce production time. So to develop user-friendly and effective standard model of CAD/CAM system is very important. The cbtained results will lead to the reductions in lead time and man-hour required for the design and manufacture of the automobile dies.

  • This paper makes a trial to build the model of car-following in the state of starting to stable driving on the basic of driver's knowledge that is easily characterized by linguistical cognition. There are three main steps in building the model. Firstly, each driver's rule of three testees is studied in linguistical experssion by the interview and questionary surveys that are repeated once a day for ten days. Secondly, quantification of the linguistical expression is investigated by driving experiments that includes the questionary survey to the testee in the test vehicle, and the membership functions of variables of rule are obtained. Thirdly, implicaton and composition of fuzzy inference is made by Max-Min Methods and defuzzification by gravity method. It can be said that the proposed model of car-following based on driver's knowledge is practically allpicable to the estimation of drivering of car-following on trunk roads in urban area.

HSI와 YIQ의 복합 색상정보를 이용한 차량 번호판 영역 추출 (The Extraction of Car-Licence Plates using Combined Color Information of HSI and YIQ)

  • 본 논문은 자가용과 영업용 차량의 컬러 영상에서 번호판 영역을 찾는 방법에 대한 연구이다. 번호판 영역 추출을 위해 차량 영상에서 번호판 영역은 차종에 따라 일정한 색상을 가지고 있다는 특징을 이용하였다. 본 논문에서는 단일 색상 정보에만 의존하지 않고, HSI 컬러모델의 색상 성분 H와 YIQ 컬러 모델의 색상 성분 Q를 결합하는 방식을 제안한다. 또한 처리 과정의 효율성을 높이기 위하여 입력 영상 전체를 처리하지 않고, 수평 라인별 탐색을 통해 번호판의 높이 구간을 찾도록 한다. H 성분과 Q 성분을 각각 사용한 경우와 두 색상 성분을 결합하여 추출한 경우를 비교 실험한 결과, H 성분에만 의존한 경우는 53.6%, Q 성분에만 의존한 경우는 82.1%, 결합 색상 성분에 의한 경우에는 94.6%의 추출률을 보였다.

DSP를 이용한 자동차 소음에 강인한 음성인식기 구현 (Implementation of a Robust Speech Recognizer in Noisy Car Environment Using a DSP)

  • In this paper, we implemented a robust speech recognizer using the TMS320VC33 DSP. For this implementation, we had built speech and noise database suitable for the recognizer using spectral subtraction method for noise removal. The recognizer has an explicit structure in aspect that a speech signal is enhanced through spectral subtraction before endpoints detection and feature extraction. This helps make the operation of the recognizer clear and build HMM models which give minimum model-mismatch. Since the recognizer was developed for the purpose of controlling car facilities and voice dialing, it has two recognition engines, speaker independent one for controlling car facilities and speaker dependent one for voice dialing. We adopted a conventional DTW algorithm for the latter and a continuous HMM for the former. Though various off-line recognition test, we made a selection of optimal conditions of several recognition parameters for a resource-limited embedded recognizer, which led to HMM models of the three mixtures per state. The car noise added speech database is enhanced using spectral subtraction before HMM parameter estimation for reducing model-mismatch caused by nonlinear distortion from spectral subtraction. The hardware module developed includes a microcontroller for host interface which processes the protocol between the DSP and a host.

차체 추요 부재의 강성이 정면 충돌 거동에 미치는 영향 (Effect of the Main Structure Stiffness on the Frontal Collision Behavior)

  • In this study, the car crash analysis that simulates the crushing behavior of car forestructure during a frontal impact is carried out. The analysis model for front impact of a car consists of the lumped mass and the spring model. The characteristics value of masses and springs is obtained from the static analysis of a target car. The deceleration-time curve obtained from the simulation are compared with NCAP test data from the NHTSA. They show a good agreement with frontal crash test data. The deceleration-time curve of passenger compartment is classified into 3 stages; beginning stage, middle stage, and last stage. And the behavior of masses at each stage is explained. The effect of stiffness variation on deceleration of passenger compartment is resolved. The maximum loaded peak-time of torque box and dash is the main factor to control the passenger compartment's maximum deceleration.

  • Globally, many researchers have been trying to improve the fuel economy of a vehicle for satisfying future $CO_2$ regulation and minimizing air pollution problem. For the same background, diesel engine and vehicle system optimization using simulation models have been key technologies for the improvement of vehicle system efficiency. Therefore, in this study, calibration method for the air breathing system of a WGT diesel engine using mean value model has been composed for efficient engine and vehicle optimization simulation researches. And virtual WGT performances have been calculated for a 2 cylinder downsized diesel engine system. From these researches, the calibration method for the boost pressure and EGR rate of a virtual diesel engine related with WGT performances could be composed and some of technical issue related with downsized diesel engine could be investigated.

A Study on a car Insurance purchase Prediction Using Two-Class Logistic Regression and Two-Class Boosted Decision Tree

  • This paper predicted a model that indicates whether to buy a car based on primary health insurance customer data. Currently, automobiles are being used to land transportation and living, and the scope of use and equipment is expanding. This rapid increase in automobiles has caused automobile insurance to emerge as an essential business target for insurance companies. Therefore, if the car insurance sales are predicted and sold using the information of existing health insurance customers, it can generate continuous profits in the insurance company's operating performance. Therefore, this paper aims to analyze existing customer characteristics and implement a predictive model to activate advertisements for customers interested in such auto insurance. The goal of this study is to maximize the profits of insurance companies by devising communication strategies that can optimize business models and profits for customers. This study was conducted through the Microsoft Azure program, and an automobile insurance purchase prediction model was implemented using Health Insurance Cross-sell Prediction data. The program algorithm uses Two-Class Logistic Regression and Two-Class Boosted Decision Tree at the same time to compare two models and predict and compare the results. According to the results of this study, when the Threshold is 0.3, the AUC is 0.837, and the accuracy is 0.833, which has high accuracy. Therefore, the result was that customers with health insurance could induce a positive reaction to auto insurance purchases.

그린카 산업의 학제적 분석 방안에 관한 연구 (A Multidisciplinary Research Framework for Green Car Industry)

  • 전 세계적으로 기후변화와 저탄소 소비행태를 향한 움직임이 일어남에 따라 이에 대한 대처가 요구되고 있으며, 국제적인 유가상승은 그린카에 대한 소비자들의 니즈를 촉발시키고 있다. 본 논문은 그린카 산업 플랫폼 구축 정책과 기업전략을 도출하기 위한 선행연구로서 이를 위해 정책프레임 및 실증분석, 개념적/수리적 모델링, 시스템 다이내믹스, ABM 등의 다양한 방법론을 사용하여 다각적으로 접근, 통합하여 플랫폼 관점에서의 학제적 연구 프레임워크를 제시하고자 한다. 먼저 그린카 사례 분석을 위한 산업플랫폼 분석 프레임워크를 도출하고, 필요한 구성 요소들을 제시하였으며 계량경제학 모형을 적용하여 그린 플랫폼(양면시장)에 관련된 기본 모델을 수립하였다. 또한 동태적인 관점에서의 분석을 위해 시스템 다이내믹스 모형을 그린카 환경에 접목하여, 특정 그린카 산업분석에 적용할 수 있는 시스템 다이내믹스 분석 모델을 수립하였다. 마지막으로 보다 미시적 관점에서 한국의 하이브리드 자동차 시장의 활성화 방안에 대하여 ABM을 이용하여 개별 소비자 관점에서 연구하였다. 이를 기반으로 현 한국시장에서 실행 중 혹은 실행 예정인 하이브리드 자동차 정책에 대한 분석 방안을 제시하였다.

An Empirical Analysis On The Effects Of M&A Between The Merging Firms And The Merged Firms

  • 본 논문은 우리나라 M&A 시장이 선진국형의 시장 경쟁원리에 근거하여 보다 자율적이고 경쟁적인 분위기하에서 이루어 졌던 1990년부터 1997년까지의 기업합병 사례들을 대상으로 합병기업과 피 합병기업간의 M&A사례를 표본으로 하여 합병성과를 실증 분석하였다. 합병성과 측정모형은 시장모형(market model) 과 시정조정모형(market adjusted model)을 이용하여 누적비정상 평균수익률(CAR)을 비교 검토하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 80년대의 기존 연구와는 특징적 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났으며 합병기업보다 피 합병기업에게 큰 폭의 정 (+)의 누적초과 수익이 나타났다.
