현대 건축 및 도시설계에 있어서 지속가능한 커뮤니티의 개념과 적용에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Application and Concept of Sustainable Community in the Contemporary Architecture and Urban Design)

  • The purpose of this study is to arrange the design elements and methods for sustainable community. After made the concept of sustainable community clear in the contemporary architecture and urban design, this study examines rural ecovillage, urban demonstration project, co-housing, new urbanism and urban village, and ecological township as the application modes of sustainable community. Through the cases of the application mode, the design elements for sustainable community were summarized as the followings: the symbiosis system with the nature, permaculture and edible landscape, identity, the technology for saving of resources and energy, the traffic system for the reduction of private motor use, mixed use development, and the housing with diversity. And the design methods for sustainable community were summarized as the followings: strategic planning, visioning, community action planning, workshops and charrette, environmental evaluation, and participation techniques.

Effects of ground motion scaling on nonlinear higher mode building response

  • Ground motion scaling techniques are actively debated in the earthquake engineering community. Considerations such as what amplitude, over what period range and to what target spectrum are amongst the questions of practical importance. In this paper, the effect of various ground motion scaling approaches are explored using three reinforced concrete prototypical building models of 8, 12 and 20 stories designed to respond nonlinearly under a design level earthquake event in the seismically active Southern California region. Twenty-one recorded earthquake motions are selected using a probabilistic seismic hazard analysis and subsequently scaled using four different strategies. These motions are subsequently compared to spectrally compatible motions. The nonlinear response of a planar frameidealized building is evaluated in terms of plasticity distribution, floor level acceleration and uncorrelated acceleration amplification ratio distributions; and interstory drift distributions. The most pronounced response variability observed in association with the scaling method is the extent of higher mode participation in the nonlinear demands.

  • In this study, the natural frequencies and mode shape of an external mounting pod were verified using the modal analysis and modal testing technique for a pod mounted on an aircraft. The procedure associated with the FEM building of an external mounted pod to predict the dynamic behavior of aircraft structures is described. The simplified FEM reflecting the results of the modal testing of a pod is built through the optimization, applied to the structural dynamic model of an Aircraft, used to verified the stability of vibration and flutter of an aircraft.

  • A seismic analysis is one of crucial design procedures of an axial blower used in nuclear power Plants. The blower should be operated even in ar emergency such as an earthquake. The blower should be designed in order to stand against an earthquake. For the seismic analysis, Ive perform the modal analysis and then evaluate the required response spectrum (PRS) from the given floor response spectrum (FRS). A finite element model of the blower is established by using a commercial FEM code of ANSYS. After the finite element modeling. the natural frequencies. the mode shapes and the participation factors are obtained from the modal analysis. The PRS is acquired by a numerical approach on the basis of the principle of mode superposition. We verify the structura safety of the axial blower and confirm the validity of the present seismic analysis results.

A Multiagent System for Microgrid Operation in the Grid-interconnected Mode

  • This paper presents a multiagent system for microgrid operation in the grid-interconnected mode. An energy market environment with generation competition is adopted for microgrid operation in order to guarantee autonomous participation and meet the requirements of participants in the microgrid. The modified Contract Net Protocol (CNP) is used as a protocol for interactions among agents. The multiagent system for microgrid operation based on the modified CNP and the energy market environment is designed and implemented. To verify the feasibility of the suggested multiagent system, experiments on three operation conditions are carried out.

무역전시회 참가비용의 결정요인에 관한 연구 (A Study on Determinants of Trade Show's Participation Fees)

  • 무역전시는 기업에게 효과적인 해외마케팅 수단을 제공하는 국제촉진수단이며, 전후방 연관효과를 통해 소득과 고용창출에 미치는 파급효과가 뛰어난 고부가가치 서비스산업이다. 본 연구는 무역전시의 참가비 지출과 관련된 소비조사를 통한 미시경제적 접근을 통해 참가비 지출의 결정요인을 분석하여 전략산업으로서의 육성을 모색하기 위함이다. 연구 결과, 참가비에 영향을 미치는 사회 경제적 요인은 관람객의 경우 소득과 교육이 정(正)의 방향을, 연령과 성별은 부(負)의 방향으로 나타났다. 참가업체의 경우 연령과 매출액은 정(正)의 방향으로, 인적구성은 부(負)의 방향으로 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 참가비에 영향을 미치는 참가 행태 요인으로는 관람객의 경우 티켓구입은 정(正), 거리는 부(負)의 방향으로 나타났고, 참가업체의 경우 거리는 부(負), 참가횟수는 참가비에 정(正)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 만족 요인으로는 관람객의 경우 전시품목과 장소, 입장료 등의 만족도가 정(正)의 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났고, 참가업체의 경우 거래실적과 홍보효과, 장소 등에 관한 만족도가 참가비에 정(正)의 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 본연구의 결과가 무역전시회의 참가결정요인을 제시하여 무역전시의 마케팅 수립과 경영전략에 기초적인 자료가 되기를 기대한다.

Wheel의 원반 진동을 고려한 외경연삭 주축의 동특성 (Dynamic Chanrateristics of Spindle for the External Cylindrical Grinding Machine Considered the Shell Mode Vibration of Wheel)

  • In the case of the external cylindrical grinding machine, the grinding mechanism can cause a wheel to vibrate due to a wheel cutter. This phenomena will bring about the unsymmetric wear up to high frequency without any relation of rotational speed. So far, when the grinding spindle is analyzed, it is assumed that a wheel is considered as lumped mass at the endof a beam. Nowadays, there is a tendency to use the wheel with a lsrge diameter or CBN wheel to achieve the high speed and accuracy grinding performance. Therefore, this kind of assumption is no longer valid. At the analysis of the grinding spindle, the parameter which dapends on the dynamic characteristics is a combination force between each part. For example, there is the tightness torque of a bolt and taper element in the grindle. In addition, the material property of the wheel can contribute the dynamic characteristics. This paper shows the mode participation of the shell mode of the wheel in the grindle and the dynamic characteristics according to the parameters which are the configuration of the flange and tightness torque of a bolt and taper. Modal parameter of the wheel, flange and the spindle can be extracted through frequency response function obtained by modal test. After that, by changing the tightness torque and kinds of wheel, we could accomplish the test in the whole combined grinding spindle. To perform modal analysis of vibration characteristics in the grinding spindle, we could develop the model of finite element method.

모드해석을 통한 마운트 공진회피 설계 (Design for Resonance Avoidance of Mount Through the Modal Analysis)

  • This paper provides how to solve the problems analytically and experimentally that occur for testing the water injection pump under development. First of all, water injection pump, based on shaft system dynamic analysis, is verified by measuring the behavior of the shaft system. After the water injection pump is measured, the structural resonances which can cause excessive noise, degradation the equipment life and malfunction are found. Therefore, by changing the structural design, the reso- nance should be avoided. Application of the design variables to the experimentally resonance avoid- ance is difficult. So analytically, with application of the design variables, the design will be changed with mode analysis using FEM.

Interaction Patterns in Distance Only Mode e-Learning

  • The purpose of this study was to identify the interaction patterns in distance only mode e-Learning. In order to investigate this study, messages shown in the electronic notice board were analyzed to see how interaction occurs between teacher and learner or learner and learner under the e-learning of cyber university. To analyze messages was applied according to the framework by Henri's contents analysis model. As a result of contents analysis on electronic board, the participative dimension was 399 messages. A learner put on 7~8 messages a day. The number of messages was low compared to the number of learners, but the number of inquiries was about 140. That means that each learner contacts and checks messages at least once a day. The meaning dimension was 600 units. The main interaction patterns were Interactive-social-cognitive-metacognitive. This means that e-Learning in distance only mode leads a positive attitude of learners as a self-directed learning, and needs teacher's well-structured instructional strategies for increasing interaction. In conclusion, social dimension and interactive dimension of messages support learners psychologically in the process of learning though they directly guide learning under the circumstances of e-learning lacking face-to-face element. It can be interpreted that the teacher's role is significantly important in order to attract learners' positive participation and cognitive and meta-cognitive dimension of messages and activities

무선 센서 네트워크의 수명연장을 위한 클러스터링 알고리즘 (Clustering Algorithm for Extending Lifetime of Wireless Sensor Networks)

  • 최근 무선 센서 네트워크는 다양한 분야에서 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 환경을 구현하기 위해 사용되고 있으며 센서 필드의 정보 수집을 위해 소형의 저전력, 저가격 센서를 사용한다. 본 논문은 이러한 센서 노드의 에너지 효율성을 고려한 클러스터링 알고리즘을 제안한다. 제안 알고리즘은 기존의 LEACH에 기반하며 슬립 기법과 전송 모드의 변경을 통해 네트워크와 노드의 수명을 연장할 수 있다. 제안 알고리즘에서 노드는 이웃 노드들과의 거리를 기반으로 자신의 클러스터링 참여 값을 구하고 자신의 주위에 노드들이 많이 존재한다면 슬립 모드로 대기하도록 한다. 또한 BS로의 데이터 전달에 기존의 싱글 홉 전송만 사용하는 것이 아니라 클러스터 헤드의 에너지 수준에 따라 멀티 홉 전송으로 변경할 수 있도록 하여 에너지를 보존하도록 한다 제안 기법의 성능을 확인하기 위해 LEACH와 비교 실험을 수행하였으며 특히 불균일하게 노드가 배치된 네트워크에서 제안기법의 성능이 우수함을 확인하였다.
