Visual SLAM(Simultaneous Localization And Mapping) has been used widely to estimate a mobile robot's location. Visual SLAM estimates relative motions with static visual features over image sequence. Because visual SLAM methods assume generally static features in the environment, we cannot obtain precise results in dynamic situation including many moving objects: cars and human beings. This paper presents a stereo vision based SLAM method in dynamic environment. First, we extract disparity map with stereo vision and compute optical flow. We then compute disparity change that is the estimated flow field between stereo views. After examining the disparity change value, we detect ROIs(Region Of Interest) in disparity space to determine dynamic scene objects. In indoor environment, many structural planes like walls may be determined as false dynamic elements. To solve this problem, we segment the scene into planar structure. More specifically, disparity values by the stereo vision are projected to X-Z plane and we employ Hough transform to determine planes. In final step, we remove ROIs nearby the walls and discriminate static scene elements in indoor environment. The experimental results show that the proposed method can obtain stable performance in dynamic environment.
The purpose of this study is to analyze empirically analyze how the characteristics of participants in educational and social learning forums and the quality of events influence expectations and satisfaction of forums. The study also aims to provide strategic implications for forum organizers and give them suggestions on how to set up target audience, manage forum contents, speakers, and services, improve attendee satisfaction, and ultimately maximize overall outcomes. As exchanges among individuals, enterprises, and organizations, as well as countries are growing rapidly, the convention industry has become a key player in the market. Conventions have also become a venue for people to discuss a specific agenda or topic, exchange information and learn knowledge and insights. Especially, the forum - as part of the convention industry - plays a vital role providing educational and social learning opportunities as scholars and expertise come together to share their knowledge and experience through a variety of discussions. With its role, many of forums are taking place in recent years; however, there have been few empirical studies upon the forum itself. Also, there have been few attempts to research how the quality of forums affect participants' satisfaction along with their characteristics and how much of practical knowledge is provided throughout the events. This study is meaningful in that it is the first practical study that takes a deep understanding of the forum and sees how the quality of the forums influences participants' satisfaction and whether the characteristics of participants have a moderating effect in increasing the level of satisfaction. Forum organizers could also take a strategic approach as their major concerns are to increase the number of participants and raise degree of satisfaction by providing significant information. There are four key elements that determine success or failure of a social learning forum. The four elements are contents, speakers, services, and participants. Content plays an important role in providing rich information and knowledge for participants. Speakers are the main knowledge providers who contribute to the forum's social learning role. Also, the services provided by forum organizers such as simultaneous interpretation services, program brochures, lunch and refreshments, and the overall design of event hall can also influence the level of participants' satisfaction. Lastly, the participants and their characteristics are important since they are the ones who receive knowledge from the providers. The results of this study show that the quality of forum (content, speaker, and services) has a decisive effect on the participants' satisfaction and there are some differences in expectation among the participants in the forum. Also, some groups of participants were more likely to be stimulated by the quality of forum when determining their satisfaction. The study is modeled after MBN Y Forum 2016 and its participants' characteristics. The forum is one of the most representative social learning forums of South Korea and its audiences are mostly young people. It has analyzed how the participants' characteristics influence their satisfaction by grouping them into ${\Delta}participants$ who have invited for free and those who paid for the entrance fee, ${\Delta}first-time$ participants and returning participants, ${\Delta}voluntary$ and involuntary participants, ${\Delta}participants$ who registered through web and those who did through mobile, and ${\Delta}participants$ who registered during pre-sale opens and those who registered during general opens.
Rice is the staple food of more than 50% of the worlds population. Cultivated rice has the AA genome (diploid, 2n=24) and small genome size of only 430 megabase (haploid genome). As the sequencing of rice genome was completed by the International Rice Genome Sequencing Project (IRGSP), many researchers in the world have been working to explore the gene function on rice genome. Insertional mutagenesis has been a powerful strategy for assessing gene function. In maize, well characterized transposable elements have traditionally been used to clone genes for which only phenotypic information is available. In rice endogenous mobile elements such as MITE and Tos (Hirochika. 1997) have been used to generate gene-tagged populations. To date T-DNA and maize transposable element systems has been utilized as main insertional mutagens in rice. A main drawback of a T-DNA scheme is that Agrobacteria-mediated transformation in rice requires extensive facilities, time, and labor. In contrast, the Ac/Ds system offers the advantage of generating new mutants by secondary transposition from a single tagged gene. Revertants can be utilized to correlate phenotype with genotype. To enhance the efficiency of gene detection, advanced gene-tagging systems (i.e. activation, gene or enhancer trap) have been employed for functional genomic studies in rice. Internationally, there have been many projects to develop large scales of insertionally mutagenized populations and databases of insertion sites has been established. Ultimate goals of these projects are to supply genetic materials and informations essential for functional analysis of rice genes and for breeding using agronomically important genes. In this report, we summarize the current status of Ac/Ds-mediated gene tagging systems that has been launched by collaborative works from 2001 in Korea.
The geochemical results of the Chunyang granites located in the northeastern part of the Yeongnam Massif, indicate that these rocks have characteristics of calc-alkaline series in the sub-alkaline field, I-type and peraluminous. Most of the geochemical features in major and trace elements show systematic trends, which are similar to differentiation trends of the general Jurassic granitoids in South Korea. The Chunyang granite is largely enriched in mobile LILE (Sr, K, Rb and Ba) relatively immobile HFSE. They show LREE enriched patterns [$(La/Lu)_{CN}=41.8-73.2$] with a slightly negative Eu anomaly [$(Eu/Eu^*)_{CN}=0.89-1.10$]. There are no meaningful correlations in major and trace elements between the Chunyang granites and the Buseok plutonic rock which is the main unit of the Yeongju batholith. This result may suggest that these two plutonic rocks be not derived from the same parent magma. Tectonic discrimination diagrams indicate that the Chunyang granite was formed in volcanic arc environments. These geochemical characteristics results suggest that the Chunyang granite must have been generated at the active continental margin during the subduction of the Jurassic proto-Pacific plate.

There are many types of circularly polarized(CP) microstrip antenna elements, which are used as a good unit radiator. Since an advantage of CP antenna is no strict alignment requirements between Rx and Tx system, the printed antennas with circular polarization are very often used in numerous satellite and mobile radio systems. In order to realize the broad bandwidth of 3 dB axial ratio and impedance of CP microstrip antenna, complex feed structure and tri-plate patch element have been researched. This paper describes a design of wideband microstrip cross slot array antennas with circular polarization. The proposed antenna is composed of an open-ended microstrip feed line as a feeder and a cross slot as a radiator for circular polarization. To realize the wide bandwidth, tri-plate structure are considered and cross slot is electromagnetically coupled with feed line. Optimum parameters of 1-element cross slot antenna are analyzed and designed by method of moments. These parameters are also applied to may antennas design considered the mutual coupling between radiating elements. Right hand circular polarization(RHCP) and left hand circular polarization(LHCP) of the proposed antenna are easily controlled by asymmetrical cross slot structure and slot position. In 1-element and 15-element cross slot array antenna, the good axial ratio of 1 dB below and the broad bandwidth characteristics of antenna are obtained.
Recently, shooting photographs have become highly popular among general public and been used by various media such as digital camera, mobile, and kiosk. We could find that users prefer to Funology which is combined by fun and hardware technology on emotional point of view. Shooting photographs attracts user participation and makes effect of design to expand. The goal of this study is to classify user actions in a electronic kiosk which includes digital photography function based on the perspective of Funology and to bulit user behaviors model. Therefore user group model will be defined, and then interaction design guidelines of shooting photographs will be proposed. For this research, first of all, the concepts of Funology and user interaction with taking photographs are classified to three types which is based on literature investigation. Secondly, "Phodosee" kiosk is examined with Funology design elements which have been categorized beforehand. Then user's behaviors which are shown their interaction with "Phodosee" kiosk are observed and analyzed using video ethnography based on Funology perspectives. Finally, four persona models are suggested based on user's behaviors as follows; 1) to avoid being taken photography, 2) to try to shoot photography, 3) to participate shooting photography and 4) to lead others to take photography. To summarize this study, effects and limitations of Funology design elements using digital photography are discussed and guideline is suggested to improve user experience design.

Based on the case study methods, the study analyzes emergence and ensuing typology of global ebook platforms such as Google eBook, Amazon Kindle, iBooks Store. Global ebook platforms show adaptation process responding to rapidly changing digital technological envirment and it's fitness landscape. The critical elements in its emerging process are the distinct selection criteria, the degree of resource abundance and the search process based on open innovation. Based on these critical elements, the global platforms show speciation process, so called niche creation and are evolving into a variety of the typology based on the initial condition of key resource which makes the platform emerge and grow. Each global ebook platforms is evolving into open platform, hybrid platform, closed platform. Google eBook has openness and extensibility due to a variety of devices based on Android and a direct involvement of actors. Amazon Kindle has developed from a online bookstore and into the hybrid platform which have not only closed quality but also openness with ebook devices and mobile network. iBooks Store has developed into the closed platform through the agency model based on competitive hardwares and closed quality with iphone and ipad.

Smart work is an alternative form to enable seamless business collaboration without time and space limitations using ICT. However, smart work implementation has not produced tangible achievements and sometimes has resulted in failure. This study examined users' resistance against smart work, which is regarded as one of the most important elements for the successful implementation of smart work. The study classified elements which cause users' resistance into the work's innovative characteristics and the user characteristics based on the model of innovation resistance. It also set the degree of freedom in spatial and temporal dimension as moderating factors. This empirical research results showed that low work efficiency, unfavorable evaluation methods, and high degree of satisfaction in the way of working affected smart work users' resistance. In addition, temporal freedom had a moderating effect on the relationship between users' characteristics and their resistance. On the contrary, spatial freedom affected the relationship between their works' innovative characteristics and their resistance. The study results suggest that organizations need to set up business processes and evaluation methods first to adopt Smart work successfully.

Along with the development in cutting-edge digital technology, the street space is also being changed. Mobile telecommunication units and internet give a big change in a human being's lifestyle. And the ubiquitous computing is proceeding with expanding its application range from the indoor space to the street space. As the street furniture is the convenient facility that allows a human being's life in street space to be abundant, it is getting advanced. First of all, in terms of such phenomenon, this study analyzed the cases of a research on application of street space and the actual condition of a change in the number of individuals for the street furniture, through a literature research of ubiquitous. Also, it researched into the realities of using the street furniture of the walking-desired streets at Daehac-ro and Hongdae district, where are two representative places related to digital generation. The next was carried out FGI (Focus Group Interview) with users of the street space in front of Hongik University and managers of the street furniture, and was researched into the use & management behavior, and recognition level on the street furniture. Thus, the key elements were extracted such as interchange of information for cultural activities, automation for interaction variability in function. Finally the core elements for future vision of street furniture in this digital era were extracted in 3I, namely, Information, Intellectualization, and Integration. This is considered to be applied to the establishment of direction in the process of high-tech digitalization in street furniture related to information hereafter.
The discussion on the adoption of the horizontal regulatory framework is underway to overcome the problems regarding the vertical regulatory framework resulting from a convergence of broadcasting and telecommunications services. Recently, however, the horizontal regulatory framework shows its limitation to regulate the ecosystem established mainly by Google and Apple. The existing horizontal regulatory framework does not fully reflect the characteristics of the two-sided market and the change in the competition structure in the broadcasting and telecommunications sector. What is important to note is that if the existing horizontal regulatory framework is simply applied to the ecosystem, a regulatory imbalance can be caused among ecosystems. The existing horizontal regulatory framework, which is subject to a value chain structure, categorizes business entities into either contents layer or transmission layer and applies the same regulation to all business entities in the same category. However, in the ecosystem, a keystone-player can be categorized into different layers depending on its strategy. Therefore, if the existing horizontal regulatory framework is applied as it is, the regulatory imbalance between keystone-players located in less regulated areas and keystone-players located in more regulated areas occurs resulting in a distortion of competition. There are two possible ways to establish a new regulatory framework to prevent the distortion of competition likely to be caused by the adoption of a horizontal regulatory system. First, a new ecosystem regulatory framework different from the existing one can be established. Second, the horizontal regulatory framework can be modified to reflect the ecosystem elements. The first approach is hard to adopt given the current situation as the approach requires the analysis of all broadcasting and telecommunications ecosystems including mobile and wired services; currently research and study on the competition conditions in the ecosystems is not enough. Therefore, this paper supports the second approach proposing a modified horizontal regulatory framework through the improvement of institutions and remedies suitable for accommodating the ecosystem elements. This paper intends to propose a way to regulate broadcasting and telecommunications ecosystems taking into consideration the ecosystem elements on top of the Telecommunications Business Act, Broadcasting Act, IPTV Act, the competition condition evaluation system of the Basic Act on Broadcasting and Telecommunications Development, and regulation on common carriers under the Telecommunications Business Act.
