최근 많은 모바일 디바이스 환경에서 웹서비스 이용에 대한 요구가 증가하고 있지만 현실의 여러 가지 한계와 문제점들로 인해 무선 네트워크에서의 웹 브라우징은 많은 제약이 발생한다. 최근의 급속하게 변화하는 웹 환경에서 이전의 웹서버 성능으로는 다양한 요구 사항을 만족할 수 없기 때문에, 모바일 웹서비스 엔진의 성능 향상이 필요하다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 인터미디어리 기술을 모바일 웹 서비스에 도입하여 웹서비스 이용자를 위한 서비스 환경을 개선한다. 본 논문에서는 모바일 웹서비스의 성능 향상과 모바일 디바이스와 웹서버의 상호운용을 위한 인터미디어리 기반 웹서비스 프레임워크를 설계 구현한다.

모바일 웹 서비스 사용자가 증가함에 따라 품질을 고려한 모바일 웹 서비스 선택이 중요한 이슈로 여겨지고 있다. 품질계약은 서비스 품질의 수준을 명세한 웹 서비스 제공자와 웹 서비스 사용자간의 협약으로 웹 서비스 사용자는 품질계약을 통해 명세한 서비스 품질의 수준을 보장받을 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 품질을 고려하여 모바일 웹 서비스를 선택하기 위하여 중개자 기반의 프레임워크를 제안한다. 모바일 사용자들은 무선망에서 서비스 중개자를 통하여 웹 서비스를 요청할 수 있다. 서비스 중개자는 에이전트를 이용하여 웹 서비스 품질을 모니터링하며 서비스 품질계약에 위반사항이 발생하면 웹 서비스 제공자와 사용자에게 위반사항이 발생하였음을 통보함으로써 서비스 품질을 관리한다. 본 논문에서는 모니터링을 위하여 신뢰성, 응답시간, 그리고 가격 품질요소들을 사용하였으며 모바일 사용자들은 서비스 중개자를 통하여 품질 좋은 웹 서비스를 선택할 수 있다.

This paper presents web service and service on mobile phone about research on virtual URS(Ubiquitous Robotic Space). We modeled the URS. Then, we find the location of robot in the virtual URS on web and mobile phone. We control the robot view with mobile phone. This paper addresses the concept of virtual URS and introduces interaction between robot in the virtual URS and human using web and mobile phone service. Then, this paper introduces a case of service on mobile phone.

최근 정보기술 발전과 컴퓨터의 고성능화에 따라 인터넷과 지리정보 시스템(GIS: Geographic Information System)을 연동하여 많은 웹사이트에서 지도정보 및 POI(Point of Interest)서비스를 제공하고 있다. 이러한 Web GIS는 시스템 구축이나 서비스 제공방법, 지도표현 형식에 있어 특정 시스템이나 환경에 의존적이며 제약이 많이 있다. 또한 무선인터넷의 급속한 발전으로 이동 환경에서 현재 위치정보를 적용한 실시간 서비스를 제공받기 원하는 사용자가 급증하고 있는 시점에서 이러한 서비스는 PDA와 같은 이동클라이언트에 LBS(Location Based Service)로 제공될 수 있어야한다. 본 논문에서는 국립지리원의 표준 지도형식인 DXF 수치지도를 이용하여 모바일 웹 서비스가 가능한 GIS를 구축하였다. 그리고 이를 OGC(OpenGIS Consortium)에서 권고한 벡터 방식의 SVG(Scalable Vector Graphics) 포맷의 지도로 표현하고, XML 웹 서비스를 이용한 개방형 서비스로 제공하였다. 또한 이동클라이언트인 PDA에 GPS수신기를 확장하여 이동환경에서 위치정보를 획득하여 모바일을 위한 실시간 위치기반 웹지도 서비스를 설계하고 서버기반 G15 컴퓨팅 환경을 실용적으로 구현하였다.

Web Services allow a user to integrate applications from different platforms and languages. Since mobile applications often run on heterogeneous platforms and conditions, Web Service becomes a popular solution for integrating with server applications. However, because of its verbosity, XML based SOAP messaging gives the possible overhead to the less powerful mobile devices. Based on the mobile client's behavior that it usually exchanges messages with Web Service continuously in a session, we design the Handheld Flexible Representation architecture. Our proposed architecture consists of three main components: optimizing message representation by using a data format language (Simple_DFDL), streaming communication channel to reduce latency and the Context-store to store context information of a session as well as redundant parts of the messages. In this paper, we focus on the Context-store and describe the architecture with the Context-store for improving the performance of mobile Web Service messaging. We verify our approach by conducting various evaluations and investigate the performance and scalability of the proposed architecture. The empirical results show that we save 40% of transit time between a client and a service by reducing the message size. In contrast to solutions for a single problem such as the compression or binarization, our architecture addresses the problem at a system level. Thus, by using the Context-store, we expect reliable recovery from the fault condition and enhancing interoperability as well as improving the messaging performance.

모바일 디바이스의 기능이 강화되며 이의 사용이 빈번해 지면서 다른 서버 기반 어플리케이션과 더욱 복잡한 상호 작용의 필요성이 요구된다. 그리고 모바일 환경은 이동성에 의하여 웹 서버와 클라이언트인 모바일 디바이스 사이에 순간 단절의 문제가 발생하여 웹 서비스 지속성에 문제를 발생하고, 기존의 인증된 보안에도 영향을 미쳐 재 인증의 문제를 야기한다. 따라서 본 논문은 HTTP 기반 웹 서비스와 모바일 디바이스의 상호 연결성 확보와 보안성을 유지하며 지속적인 웹서비스를 위하여 모바일 웹 서비스의 표준 프로토콜 기반의 모바일 환경에서 WAP을 사용하는 모바일 디바이스의 웹 서비스 접근을 위한 프레임워크를 구현한다. 본 논문은 HTTP와 WAP의 접근을 기초를 둔 비교된 성능 지연, 데이터 전송 볼륨에 대하여 같은 기준의 조건에서 분석된다. 또한 상호 작용 프로세스가 가져오는 실행 오버헤드 증가를 조사한다.

This paper proposes and implements a mobile service and web service integration for utilizing public bicycle sharing system NUBIJA. The NUBIJA system is operated by Changwon City, GyeongNam since 2008 and maintains 247 unattended bicycle sharing terminal on the city. Average users per day of the NUBIJA are more than 8,000 and many users want to get more services from their mobile phones. We implemented realtime mobile bicycle rental and return information service. The informations are acquired from each terminal kiosks and we integrated the information and location based services(LBS) on iOS and Android platform. In this paper, we described an integration services between web and mobile application and shows graphical user interface for highly customized on mobile platforms.

PDA는 저장 공간이 제약적이고 입력을 위해 펜 기반장치를 사용해야 하므로 불편함을 지닌다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 불편함을 보완하기 위하여 기존의 음성인식 시스템을 XML(extensible Markup Language) 웹 서비스로 제공하고, PDA에서 음성인식 웹 서비스를 요청함으로써 음성명령이 가능하도록 구현하였다. 본 시스템의 구성은 모바일 클라이언트와 음성인식 웹 서비스 프로바이더로 되어 있다. 모바일 클라이언트는 사용자정보와 음성 데이터를 DIME(Direct Internet Message Encapsulation)을 이용하여 음성 인식 웹 서비스 프로바이더를 요청한다. 음성 인식 웹 서비스 프로바이더는 인증된 클라이언트에 한하여 음성 인식 결과와 사용자명을 반환하는 서비스를 제공한다. 따라서 이 시스템은 PDA에서 대용량의 음성 DB나 음성인식 시스템을 직접 탑재하지 않고도 음성인식 서비스를 이용할 수 있다.

Recently the usage of mobile devices which enable the accessibility to Internet has been dramatically increased. Most of the mobile services, however, so far tend to be simple such as infotainment service. In order to fully taking advantage of wireless network and corresponding technology, personalized web service based on user's context could be needed. Meanwhile, optimization techniques have been vitally incorporated for optimizing the development and administration of electronic commerce. However, applying context-aware optimization mechanism to personalized mobile services is still very few. Hence, the purpose of this paper is to propose a methodology to incorporate optimization techniques into personalization services. Multi agent-based web service approach is considered to realize the methodology. To show the feasibility of the methodology proposed in this paper, a prototype system, CAMA-myOPt(Context-Aware Multi-Agent system for my Optimization), was implemented and adopted in mobile comparative shopping.

This paper aims to empirically examine how personal characteristics and social influence affect user acceptance of mobile web browsing service. To examine the intention to use mobile web browsing service, we applied the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) which has been widely used to explain and predict the IT acceptance to this study. This research also includes personal characteristics such as computer self-efficacy, mobile self-efficacy, and personal innovativeness in IT and social influences such as subjective norms, image, and visibility as the external variables of the TAM. The results indicate that computer self-efficacy do not directly influence ease of use, but indirectly through mobile self-efficacy. And the results indicate that mobile self-efficacy and personal innovativeness in IT have direct effects on ease of use. Empirical results also show that subjective norms and image affect usefulness. Additional theoretical and practical implications of these findings are also discussed in the paper.
