본 논문에서는 NGMC 포럼의 차세대 이동 통신 서비스 로드맵 작성을 위하여 차세대 이동 통신 서비스들을 카테고리별로 분류하고 서비스 진화 시나리오를 작성한다. 구체적으로, 사용 목적에 따라 차세대 이동 통신서비스 카테고리를 선정하고, 해당 카테고리 별로 서비스들을 분류한 뒤, 각 서비스들의 상관 관계를 분석하여 카테고리별 서비스 진화 시나리오를 작성한다. 분류 및 분석 대상 서비스는 현재 제공되고 있는 서비스뿐만 아니라 개념적인 수준에서 논의되고 있는 모든 종류의 서비스들 중에서 선정된다. 본 논문의 결과물인 카테고리별 서비스 진화 시나리오를 이용하여 차세대 이동통신 서비스 로드맵이 완성된다면, 차세대 이동 통신분야에서의 주도권 확보 및 경쟁력 증대에 기여할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

최근 차세대 이동통신 서비스에 대한 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 특히 차세대 이동통신 서비스가 기존 서비스와 다른 가장 큰 특징 중 하나는 사용자 개개인에 특화된 개인화 서비스 제공이라는 점이다. 이러한 개인화 서비스는 사용자의 현재 상황 및 선호도 등의 정보를 이용하여 서비스를 사용자에게 적응화시켜 제공하기 때문에 사용자 프로파일에 대한 관리기술이 매우 중요한 연구 주제로 부각되고 있다. 하지만 기존 사용자 프로파일 관리 기술은 단순히 사용자 관리라는 측면에서만 이루어졌기 때문에 개인화 서비스를 지원하기에는 역부족이다. 특히 서비스 제공업체 별로 분산 관리되는 사용자 프로파일은 차세대 이동통신 서비스를 지원하는데 많은 어려운 점이 예상된다. 따라서 개인화 서비스를 효과적으로 지원하고 통합적으로 프로파일을 관리할 수 있는 새로운 프로파일 관리 기술이 요구된다. 이를 위해 본 논문에서는 프로파일을 통합 관리할 수 있는 프로파일 서비스 제공자 시스템을 제안하고, 개인화 서비스를 지원하기 위한 프로파일 관리 기술의 요구사항을 제안한다.

The mobile industry is waking up to the reality that customers buy 'services', not technology. Thekey is to deliver a variety of differentiated services today and improve them as the advanced technology becomes available. In the increasingly data centric world of the future, the emphasis will be on the provision of a range of services audio, video, data and multimedia and of course speech. As we move closer to the realization of these mobile services in the conglomeration of converged networks, new challenges are being faced by the technology and application developers as well as the service providers to design, test and integrate new products and services. Functionalities like availability, scalability, performance and compatibility have become more important. This paper discusses the new test paradigms in the mobile networks, both from the applications and the protocols perspective.

끊임없이 진화하는 이동통신 네트워크 기술로 인하여 대부분의 CDMA망은 다양한 대역폭을 가진 네트워크 표준들이 공존하게 되었다. 이는 사용자의 위치나 모바일 디바이스의 네트워크 접속 기능에 따라 서로 다른 대역폭의 이동통신 네트워크를 통하여 모바일 응용 서비스에 접근하게 된다는 것을 의미한다. 이러한 이동통신 네트워크의 대역폭의 차이는 곧 서비스 응답 시간의 큰 편차를 야기하게 된다. 이와 같은 문제점을 다루기 위해 본 논문에서는 CANS (Context-Aware framework for mobile Navigation Services)라고 부르는 프레임워크를 제시한다. CANS는 휴대폰 상에서 실행되는 CDRG기반 항법 서비스에 필요한 다양한 컨텐츠를 사용자의 네트워크 프로파일을 고려하여 적응화시키므로써 모바일 항법서비스를 가능케 한 최초의 상황인지형 프레임워크이다. 상용 CDMA망 하에서의 다양한 실험을 통해 CANS가 대역폭에 맞추어 컨텐츠를 적응화 하므로써 네트워크의 종류에 관계없이 일정한 서비스 응답 시간으로 서비스할 수 있음을 보인다.

국내 도서관에서는 1차원 및 2차원 바코드, RFID 기술의 장점을 최대한 활용하고 각 기술의 단점들을 상호보완하여 모바일 서비스를 제공할 필요가 있다. 본 연구에서는 1차원 및 2차원 바코드의 특징 및 종류를 살펴보았다. 특히 스마트폰의 보급과 무선인터넷이 확대되는 모바일 환경에서 바코드와 RFID는 오프라인의 아날로그 매체와 온라인의 디지털 매체를 서로 연결시켜주는 정보미디어로 매우 유용한 것으로 분석되었다. 그리고 국내 도서관에서 바코드를 이용한 도서관 업무 자동화 및 모바일학생증 서비스 사례를 분석하였다. 또한 국외 도서관에서 바코드를 이용한 모바일 서비스 사례를 분석하였다. 이를 통해 국내도서관에서 바코드와 RFID를 이용한 모바일 서비스 증진 방안을 제안하였다.

본 연구는 다양한 모바일결제 서비스들을 대상으로 소비자 혁신성과 '모바일결제 서비스 외의 이전 서비스에 대한 신뢰'가 모바일결제 사용의도에 미치는 영향을 실증적으로 검증하였다. 연구 결과, 소비자의 혁신성은 모바일결제 사용의도에 직접적인 영향을 미칠 뿐만 아니라 상대적 이점과 이미지를 매개로 하여 간접적으로도 영향을 미쳤다. 그리고 이전 서비스에 대한 신뢰는 모바일결제 사용의도에 직접적인 영향을 미칠 뿐만 아니라 상대적 이점, 이미지 및 지각된 위험을 매개로 하여 간접적으로도 영향을 미쳤다. 본 연구를 통하여 이전 서비스에서 구축된 소비자의 신뢰가 모바일결제 서비스에 대한 신뢰로 전이되는 것을 발견하였다. 그러므로 모바일결제 서비스를 제공하는 기업들은 모바일결제 서비스에서 신뢰를 구축하기 위해 노력하는 것뿐만 아니라, 다른 분야에서도 신뢰를 구축 및 유지하기 위해서 노력해야 할 것이다. 또한 굳건한 신뢰 구축 과정을 통해 지각된 위험을 줄이고 모바일결제 사용의도를 높일 수 있다. 본 연구는 다양한 모바일결제서비스를 포괄하여 모바일결제 사용의도에 영향을 미치는 새로운 경로를 발견함으로써 연구의 결과를 선점전략에 적용할 수 있도록 제안하였다.

Nowadays, mobile commerce is having an increasingly profound impact on our daily lives, and offer interesting and advantageous new services. Mobile payment is an emerging and important application of mobile commerce in smart work, enabling users to use their mobile devices (especially mobile phones) for paying goods and services wherever they go. The appearance of m-payment is expected to provide us a convenient and bright future to enjoy. That is the common trend on over the world, but in Vietnam, although the number of smart phone users has been increasing rapidly, the adoption of m-payment system still didn't succeed completely. The research reviewed literature regarding mobile payment services, analyzed the impact of customer characteristics and system characteristics on m-payment adoption in Vietnam. To analyze the adoption behaviors of m-payment users, m-payment research model which consists of three customer-characteristics (m-payment trust, personal innovativeness, m-payment knowledge) and four m-payment system characteristics (mobility, reachability, convenience, compatibility) were studied. The results indicate that perceived usefulness, trust, and compatibility are the important predictors to the intention to use m-payment. This study will assist m-payment services suppliers in implementing appropriate business models and service strategies to successfully attract customer to use m-payment in Vietnam, allowing managers to exert appropriate investment, time, and effort for m-payment system development in designing smart working.

최근 PDA나 차세대 이동통신 단말기와 같은 인터넷 접속이 가능한 무선 단말기들의 보급이 크게 증가하면서 무선 인터넷 접속이 보편화되고 있다. 그러나 대부분의 기존 엘 컨텐츠와 서비스들은 데스크탑 환경에 최적화되어 무선 단말기를 통한 접근이 쉽지 않다. 무선 단말기의 자은 화면이나 제한된 입력장치와 같은 특성을 고려해 볼 때 효과적인 웹 접근을 위한 새로운 기법이 요구되고 있다. 한편, 개인화는 엘 컨텐츠나 서비스를 맞춤식으로 제공하는 데 중요한 역할을 한다. 본 논문에서는 무선 단말기 사용자를 위한 프락시 기반의 웹 서비스 페이지 개인화 기법을 제안한다. 이를 위해 로그 데이타뿐만 아니라 웹 페이지의 서비스 관련 특징을 고려하여 사용자가 자주 이용하는 서비스론 식별한다. 식별된 서비스 페이지들은 무선 단말기에 알맞은 형태로 개인화된 리스트로 제공된다. 결과적으로 사용자들은 여러 제약을 가지는 무선 단말기 상에서 개인화된 웹 서비스를 최소한의 검색만으로 제공받을 수 있다. 마지막으로 프로토타입 시스템에서 다양한 실험을 통하여 기법의 효용성을 입증하였다.

Recently, payment method is one of the most hot issues for transaction of contents in mobile and internet markets. Many kinds of mobile contents services are rapidly growing with the combination of internet application services. Payment method algorithms are demanded for the stable transaction between producer and consumer. Security protocol algorithms are widely adapted for mobile Platform terminals. In this Paper, we described security mechanism for the current wireless internet services and compared with the performance result. There are security protocols that based on java machine platform or WAP protocols. The system is based on J2ME technology for the java mobile platform. Based on this technology, a security system is proposed for the service of mobile commerce electronic payment. The system is designed for the stability of transaction so that it enables to apply into many kinds of internet payment system.

The mobile computing environment has already matured and mobile services are activated throughout many industries. In the following years, these changes are expected to evolve into a ubiquitous computing environment. In the meantime, whether newly developed information technologies will thrive or diminished depends on user's intention to adopt them. Hence, the necessity of user-centered research considering ubiquitous computing in mobile computing environment is obvious. This study, thus, investigated ubiquitous factors in various literature related to ubiquitous computing and technology acceptance and it proposes a research model of the ubiquitous factors affecting user's intention to use mobile services, in terms of meaning(connectivity, mobility), service(contextual offer), compatibility(compatibility), and infrastructure(privacy, truth). The proposed model is expected to help both researchers and practitioners extend their understanding about the ubiquitous factors in mobile computing environment
