A Study on the Design of Mobile Catalog Search Interface in Academic Libraries (대학도서관 모바일 목록의 검색 인터페이스 설계 방안 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to present the design of search interface of mobile catalog of University libraries by identifying the current situation of search interface of mobile catalog of domestic and overseas academic libraries and users' preferences derived by survey, and reflecting the combined results. The investigation on current situation of search interface of mobile catalog of domestic University libraries was carried out by using checklist for functional assessment targeting 82 mobile catalogs. For overseas examples, contents and functional elements about 15 mobile catalog search interface of academic libraries in England and US were examined and analyzed. In addition, three domestic University libraries's mobile catalogs were selected as research targets and the survey was carried out to identify the situation of use of mobile catalog and preference on search interface.

  • Recently, E-Commerce demands an integrated solution for online and off-line provided to customers on wired / wireless network and various mobile devices. Our E-commerce platform can use anytime, anywhere, for all consumers. And, it can take convenient and secure E-commerce service in mobile environment. So, we will implement a software platform base on the mobile environment that independent of the mobile OS. Particularly, our E-commerce platform is based on 3D GIS information for 3D electronic map. So, all users (customers) have got the more visible convenience. And, by using the e-catalog DB cloud server, off-line store operators can be built the online home-page easily. From now on our E-commerce platform based on 3D GIS can be usable at various E-commerce areas in the ubiquitous environment.

  • 기업 홍보를 위해 사용되는 인쇄 기반의 카탈로그는 오프라인의 한계로 비용대비 효과를 보지 못하는 경우가 많기 때문에 최근에는 웹 기술을 이용해 고객에게 실시간으로 회사 정보를 제공하는 전자 카탈로그가 많이 사용되고 있다. 그러나 벤처기업, 소상공인 등의 소규모 기업 대부분은 전자 카탈로그를 구축하고 유지보수를 하기위해 인력과 비용을 지출하기가 힘들다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해서 본 논문에서는 스마트폰 기반의 모바일앱 카탈로그 시스템을 설계하고 구현하였다. 구현된 시스템을 이용하여 소규모 회사에서는 적은 비용으로 쉽고 빠르게 카탈로그를 구축한 후 스마트폰에 설치함으로써 스마트폰만 있으면 언제 어디서든 고객에게 회사 및 제품을 소개할 수 있다. 또한, 구현된 시스템은 카탈로그 정보관리 기능을 제공함으로써 회사의 변경사항을 실시간으로 유지보수를 할 수 있는 장점이 있다.

Design of Spatial Data Synchronization System in Mobile Environment

  • In this paper, we propose a framework for synchronization of spatial data between mobile devices and a server by using SyncML(Synchronization Markup Language) that is standard specification for synchronization protocol. We used GML (Geographic Markup Language) to support interoperability of spatial data between various data sources. We also used metadata and catalog service to access and integrate distributed spatial data, considering relationships of spatial data and non-spatial data.

In this paper, established portable B2B system with movement of precious metals and jewels field's portable terminal from mobile technology.

  • PST stands for the Premium Sales Tool for Product Consulting is customized product catalog system. In other words, the product classification categories of content for consulting and sales to customers by providing useful information for the maximization of an overall system. These problems with mobility and flexibility of updating the solution to integrate mobile with mobile devices, but high-performance high-resolutions era content data continuously, but still it is difficult to handle. In this paper, to solve this problem, depending on the user's gesture by allowing periodic allocation and release of a problem for load generation enhanced by improving the PST system has been designed and implemented. Implementation was a result of the test the performance of the system, that PA system that has been provided by the traditional DA system show the allocation and the average 78% of the rate of decrease the load is released in the frequency of page, CPU utilization was reduced an average 72% I was confirmed.

  • The study aims to develop a mobile library model for universities that can be adapted to offer suitable library information and services to smart phone users. To do this, we conducted a case study using four foreign and domestic mobile libraries as well as a user study with 212 participants and questionnaires. In addition, we also administered a survey with 160 librarians. Based on the results of case and user/librarian studies, we proposed a mobile library model in which an access and navigation methods are described and nine key information and services including catalog search, code reader and SNS services are proposed.

  • 본 연구는 공간데이터 동기화 표준 프로토콜 명세인 SyncML(Synchronization Markup Language)을 이용하여 모바일 장비와 서버사이에 공간데이터를 동기화 구조를 정의하여 상호운용성 확보를 위하여 기존에 사용되어온 GML(Geographic Markup Language) 데이터와의 통합 및 다양한 데이터 소스에 대한 접근 가능성을 제시한다 뿐만 아니라 Metadata 및 Catalog Service를 이용한 공간데이터 동기화 시스템을 제시함으로써 분산되어 있는 다양한 형태의 공간데이터, 비공간 데이터의 관계성을 고려한 데이터 연동을 가능하게 한다.

  • 귀금속 보석 분야의 업무 전산화 이전에는 원시적인 기입식 장부정리로 비효율적인 상품관리와 인적 자원낭비가 심하였다. 그러나 최근 많은 업체들이 전자적인 문서관리 시스템 도입으로 업무능력 향상과 비용절감 효과로 업체의 경쟁력이 높아지고 있다. 이에 따라 기존 텍스트 기반 정보에서 벗어나 멀티미디어 기반의 정보를 요구하고 있으며, 상품 정보의 전자카탈로그(E-Catalog) 시스템 도입으로 실시간 상품 이미지와 정보를 제공해 판매자와 고객 간의 신뢰할 수 있는 정보 제공과 모바일(Mobile)통신의 장점인 이동성, 편재성, 실시간성, 휴대성 등을 활용한 기술개발 및 상품화가 요구되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 모바일 기술을 활용하여 휴대용 단말 장치를 이용한 귀금속 보석분야의 이동성이 보장되는 휴대용 B2B 시스템을 구측하였다.

A Study on the Development of School Library Mobile App Service Based on User Experience (사용자 경험을 기반으로 한 학교도서관 모바일 앱 서비스 개발에 관한 연구)

  • The school library provides a mobile web service that allows access to the library catalog system, and provides services that reflect the needs of search and consider the characteristics of mobile devices. Therefore, this study conducted a literature review, an analysis of the current status of school library mobile web services, and a survey of the mobile service user experience of students and teachers to find the contents and service plans for school library mobile app services that meet the school library mobile needs. Based on the survey, the contents and design plan of the school library DLS mobile service was prepared. First, the steps were reduced from step 4 to step 3. In the first step, solution of screen clipping errors in registering as a member and various login platforms for accessibility are needed. In the second step, integrated search and detailed search, provision of materials for use and reading education, post-booking activities, guides and announcements on the use of the affiliated school library, inter-loan, and e-books are provided as main menu. In the third step, it was proposed to provide related functions such as reservations as well as the display of the detailed screen of the search results of the collection. This study can be used not only to develop dedicated mobile app services, but also to change current web-based mobile services.
