Recently, The range of Internet based information environment is spreading over core business area, as well as simple information provision area. Especially, with spreading WWW technology, markup language based technology is emerging as an important part in Internet based business. But, the data made by SGML can only see by using SGML Browser, so it has some problem in information providing at Internet, and compatibility of data between Data source. So, this study suggests essential architecture and technique for migrating from SGML to XML environment. In our study, we use 600MB SGML data that are selected from 3Tera DataBase of SGML as testing target for migration. We can reduce data displaying time after migration, can do mobile computing which is based on Internet as a result of this study. And the same technique and idea that is used in this study can apply to more large SGML Environment without changing. So, It will be very helpful to the reader who is interesting to migrate from SGML doc to XML doc.

As the number of elderly people living alone has been increasing in the recent years, systems for their safety have been required, and some related services or pilot systems have been operating. These systems provide the monitoring service for the activities of the elderly people living alone with indoor location tracking technology using the various sensors. However, most systems provide services on expensive infrastructure such as attached tags and mobile devices. In this point, this paper attempts to suggest a system based on low cost sensors to collect event data in home environment. And a main characteristic of the system is that people can monitor the results of provided services through web browser in real time and the system can provide related context information to guardians and health care managers through SMS of mobile phone.

Due to the complex registration & downloading process of the native applications, and, software and their non-standardized APIs, mobile web application is now being an alternative software for smartphones. Hybrid web application, one of the types of mobile software, because develop and has reasonable performance by using the webkit engined in smartphones. It can be easily developed by using the exiting programming skill such as HTML, JavaScript and CSS. Additionally these programming techniques can be easily used in any smartphone regardless of its platforms. Most smartphones have a webkit engine or web rending engine for high performance and smooth display in web browser. Webkit is now equipped in iPhone and Android phone. In this paper, we try to find out by comparison that the various aspects of webkit APIs of iPhone & Android phone, such as screen font size, screen orientation, touch event, gesture event and their performance. We also evaluated which one is more convenient for developers when making web programs using webkit. As a result, we found out that webkit in iPhone has more excellent performance than Android.

In this research, AVL-GIS(Automatic Vehicle Location System linked with Geographic Information System) system was developed using integration of core techniques of GIS engine written by Java language, GOS(Global Positioning System) and wireless telecommunication interfacing techniques. IDGPS(Inverted differential GPS) techniques was employed to estimate accurate position of mobile vehicle and to supervise their path from AVL-GLS control center system. Between mobile vehicle and AVL-GLS control center system which has spatial data analysis function, road network and rleate ddata base were connected wireless phone to communicate for position an dmessage in real time. The developed system from this research has more enhanced GIS functions rather than previous AVL oriented system which has MDT for message display and voice communication only. This system can support build-up application system such as fleet management like bus, taxi, truck, disaster and emergency and monitoring of transportation status for customer s order via web browser in filed of EC/CALS in low cost.

PKI(Public Key Infrastructure)-based information certification technology has some limitations to be universally applied to mobile banking services, using smart phones, since PKI is dependent on the specific kind of web browser, Internet Explorer. OTP(One Time Password) is considered to be a substitute or complementary service of PKI, but it still shows low acceptance rate. Therefore, in this research, we analyze why OTP has not been very popular, and provide useful implications of making OTP more extensively and frequently used in the mobile environment. Perceived security of OTP was set as a higher-order construct of integrity, confidentiality, authentication, and non-repudiation. Research findings show that security awareness and perceived security of OTP is positively associated, and the relationship between perceived security and trust on OTP is statistically significant. Also, trust is positively related to intention to use OTP continuously.

The teleoperation system applies all of the industrial fields due to the development of the network infrastructure. It is one of the indispensable elements for controlling the robot at a remote sight and monitoring the limit or unknown environment. The common teleoperation robot system is what has the visual module to supply the network system and realistic UI to the existed robot system. Therefore, remarked that the fusion between modules and transmission of visual data the remarked the important element to improve the robot application in the various environments. Delay of development time by robot platform and noneffective communication among developers are also problem to approach. In this paper we propose the independent teleoperation system. The main application language is JAVA in this system, which is applied JAVA API like JNI and JMF to construct the effective teleoperation system. The system has the both side communication system between sever and client as a basic structure. The visual data that is attached the robot at a remote sight is captured by JMF API and then is transmitted to the web browser called client by RTR protocol. JNI is used to connect between JAVA and the lower part application (sensor fusion, motion control.) of the robot programmed by various Native languages. The proposed system is the application that can perform the elements, for instance transmission of visual data, the fusion of various native application modules and the effective network communication, with any platform.

본 논문은 위치 기반 DBpedia 모바일 브라우저 개발에 관한 내용으로 사용자의 현재 위치를 중심으로 Google Map과 DBpedia를 매쉬업하여 주변의 DBpedia 개체를 표시하고, 링크를 통해 추가적인 RDF 시맨틱 정보를 탐색할 수 있는 기능을 제공한다. DBpedia는 Wikipedia로부터 구조화된 데이터를 추출하여 RDF 형식으로 저장한 지식베이스로서 오늘날 엄청난 규모의 빅데이터로 발전되고 있는 링크드 오픈 데이터(Linked Open Data)에서 가장 핵심으로 부각되고 있다. DBpedia는 약 73만개의 장소 및 지역에 관한 정보를 포함하여 약 4백 58만 가지의 다양한 개체들에 관한 정보를 가지고 있으며 여러 종류의 위치기반 데이터 세트도 보유하고 있다. 본 연구에서 개발된 브라우저는 이러한 데이터 세트 내용을 스마트폰의 위치정보서비스를 활용하여 주변에 있는 장소나 건물 등을 지도에 표시하고, 해당 개체에 대한 간단한 요약 정보와 추가적인 시맨틱 정보 검색을 위한 링크를 제공한다.

Streaming Technology can support the real-time playback without downloading and storing multimedia data in local HDD. So, client browser or plug-in can represent multimedia data before the end of file transmission using streaming technology. Recently, the demand for efficient real-time playback and transmission of large amounts of multimedia data is growing rapidly. But most users' connections over network are not fast and stable enough to download large chunks of multimedia data. In this paper, we propose an intelligent IP streaming system based on personalized media service. The proposed IP streaming system enables users to get an intelligent recommendation of multimedia contents based on the user preference information stored on the streaming server or the home media server. The supposed intelligent IP streaming system consists of Server Metadata Agent, Pumping Server, Contents Storage Server, Client Metadata Agent and Streaming Player. And in order to implement the personalized media service, the user information, user preference information and client device information are managed under database concept. Moreover, users are assured of seamless access of streamed content event if they switch to another client device by implementing streaming system based on user identification and device information. We evaluate our approach with manufacturing home server system and simulation results.

This paper proposes the wireless integrated service for controlling networked appliances. Using wireless devices such as celluar phone and PDA which can communicate through Bluetooth and CDMA technology, home appliances are accessed and controlled from outside of house. The XML and the SMS message format is designed to specify controlling information for home appliances. Also the mobile agent and the message processor for networked appliances are implemented in the home gateway. In order to verify the proposed service system, a universal remote controller for cellular phone and PDA and network appliance simulator on web browser are implemented. Correct operation is verified through simulation using them.

Digital Multimedia Broadcasting (DMB) is the mobile TV service based on a digital radio transmission system that provides high quality audio/video and other auxiliary data services. As users want to store the DMB content in their device to be consumed later or to be shared among users, a standardized format needs to be specified to guarantee the interoperability for the DMB contents for various devices. DMB AF (Application Format) specification defines a file format for DMB contents and services. It specifies how to combine the variety of DMB contents with associated information for a presentation in a well-defined format that facilitates storage, interchange, management, editing, and presentation of the DMB contents in protected, governed, and interoperable ways. In this paper we present our implementation of DMB AF as part of the development of DMB AF reference software. Our implementation of DMB AF is developed as the reference software for the standard specification that consists of a three applications: packager, media player, metadata browser and collection of supporting libraries used by the applications.
