$SrAl_{12}O_{19}:Mn^{4+}$ 적색 형광체의 플럭스와 Mn 농도에 따른 영향 및 발광특성 (Photoluminescence properties of $SrAl_{12}O_{19}:Mn^{4+}$ red phosphor depending on Mn concentration and fluxes)

  • 본 연구에서는 장파장 UV 영역하에서 비교적 우수한 발광강도를 가지는 적색 형광체를 얻기 위하여 고상법으로 합성하여 발광특성을 관찰하였다. $SrAl_{12}O_{19}:Mn^{4+}$ 적색 형광체의 발광강도는 $Mn^{4+}$$^2E\to^4A_2$ 천이 때문에 643, 656, 666, 671 nm에서 4개의 sharp한 peak이 $600{\sim}700 nm $의 영역에서 발생하였으며, 여기 스펙트럼은 $250{\sim}550 nm$ 넓은 영역에서 338, 398, 468nm 3개의 peak이 발생하였다. 또한 $SrAl_{12}O_{19}:Mn^{4+}$에 0.67mol% MgO를 함유한 $SrAl_{12}O_{19}:Mn^{4+}$의 상대적인 발광강도는 $SrAl_{12}O_{19}:Mn^{4+}$ 보다 약 30% 정도 증가하였는데, 이러한 원인은 MgO가 첨가되어 $Al_2O_3$ 부분에 대체되어진 것으로 사료된다. 또한, 발광강도를 향상시키기 위하여 0.67mol% MgO를 함유한 $SrAl_{12}O_{19}:Mn^{4+}$ 시료에 $CaF_2$를 첨가하였다. 0.67mol% $CaF_2$와 0.67mol% MgO를 함유한 $SrAl_{12}O_{19}:Mn^{4+}$의 656nm에서의 상대적인 발광강도는 융제를 첨가하지 않은 $SrAl_{12}O_{19}:Mn^{4+}$보다 약 48% 이상 증가하였다.

  • A new polynuclear complex of manganese stearate has been prepared by substitution of acetate with stearic acid. The stearate ion with long alkyl chain was used to isolate molecular $Mn_{12}$ cluster from each other. The $Mn_{12}$-stearate compound prepared is soluble in most organic solvents and resistant against water catalyzed reduction. The $Mn_{12}$-stearate compound shows similar electrochemical, magnetic properties to the pristine $Mn_{12}$-acetate.

  • In this study, dielectric and piezoelectric properties of 0.05Pb(AlS12/3TWS11/3T)OS13T-0.95Pb(ZrS10.52TTiS10.48T)OS13T system ceramics were investigated with respect to the variations of MnOS12T and FeS12TOS13T additions amounts. The results obtained in this study are summarized as follows: 1. As the amounts of MnOS12T and FeS12TOS13T are increased, tetragonality(c/a) and apparent density were decreased but grain size was increased, also the limits of solubility were revealed because pores were formed at the amounts of 0.3wt% MnOS12T and 0.5wt% FeS12TOS13T. 2. AS the increasing of amounts of MnOS12T and FeS12TOS13T, the temperature of phase transition(TS1cT) was decreased, and pemeability had maximum value at the amount of 0.3wt% MnOS12T but were sharply decreasd for the increasing FeS12TOS13T amounts. 3. As the amounts of MnOS12T and FeS12TOS13T are increased, the electro-mechanical coupling factor(kS1pT) was decreased from 60% to 41%, 19% respectively, but mechanical quality factor(QS1mT) had maximum values 720 for amount of 0.3wt% MnOS12T and 320 the amount of 0.5wt% FeS12TOS13T.

  • The effect of micro-pulse plasma nitriding temperature and time on the case thickness, hardness and nitride formation in the surface of Fe-12Cr-22Mn-X alloy with 3% Co and 1% Ti alloys elements investigated. External compound layer and internal diffusion layer was constituted in plasma nitride case of Fe-12Cr-22Mn-X alloys and formed nitride phase such as ${\gamma}'-Fe4N\;and\;{\varepsilon}-Fe2-3N$. Case depth increased with increasing the plasma nitriding temperature and time. Surface hardness of nitrided Fe-12Cr-22Mn-X alloys obtained the above value of Hv 1,600 and case depth obtained the above value of $45{\mu}m$ in Fe-12Cr-22Mn-3Co alloy and $60{\mu}m$ in Fe-12Cr-22Mn-1Ti alloy. Wear-resistance increased with increasing plasma nitriding time and showing the higher value in Fe-12Cr-22Mn-1Ti alloy than Fe-12Cr-22Mn-3Co alloy.

  • The damping property of Fe-12Cr-22Mn-X alloys has been investigated to develop high damping and high strength alloy. Particularly, the effect of the phase of austenite, alpha and epsilon martensite, which constitute the structure of the alloys Fe-12Cr-22Mn-X alloys, on the damping capacity at room temperature has been investigated. Various fraction of these phases were formed depending on the alloy element and cold work degree. The damping capacity is strongly affected by ${\varepsilon}$ martensite while the other phase, such as ${\alpha}'$ martensite, actually exhibit little effect on damping capacity. In case of Fe-12Cr-22Mn-3Co alloy, the large volume fraction of ${\varepsilon}$ martensite formed at about 30% cold rolling, and in case of Fe-12Cr-22Mn-1Ti alloy, formed at about 20% cold rolling and showed the highest damping capacity. Damping capacity showed higher value in Fe-12Cr-22Mn-1Ti alloy than one in Fe-12Cr-22Mn-3Co alloy.

  • $LiNO_3$, $Li(CH_3COO){\cdot}2H_2O$ 그리고 $Mn(CH_3COO)_2{\cdot}4H_2O$를 출발물질로 하여 $Li_4Mn_5O_{12}$를 합성 하였으며 합성방법은 연소합성법을 사용하였다. $Li_4Mn_5O_{12}$$400^{\circ}C$ 이상의 열처리 온도에서 얻을 수 있었으나 $400^{\circ}C$로 열처리 하였을 때 $Mn_2O_3$가 같이 존재하는 것을 관찰할 수 있었다. $400^{\circ}C$에서 5시간동안 열처리한 $Li_4Mn_5O_{12}$를 3.7~4.4 V의 전압범위에서 1C-rate로 충방전 하였을 때 가장 좋은 첫 번째 방전용량(41.5 mAh/g)을 나타내었다. 이것을 하이브리드 커패시터에 적용하였을 때 100 mA/g의 전류밀도에서 24.74 mAh/g (10.46 mAh/cc)의 방전용량을 나타내었으며 이때의 에너지 밀도는 39 Wh/kg (16.49Wh/cc)으로 우수하였다.

  • [ $CaAl_{12}O_{19}:Mn^{4+}$ ] 적색 형광체는 $Mn^{4+}$이온이 0.02 mol 첨가되었을 때 최대 발광 세기가 관찰되었고 $1600^{\circ}C$, 3시간 소성조건에서 우수한 결정성과 발광 효율을 나타내며 중심 파장이 658 nm에서 관찰되었다. 본 연구에서 개발된 $CaAl_{12}O_{19}:Mn^{4+}$ 형광체를 에폭시와 함께 1:3으로 혼합하여서 InGaN UV 발광체의 Bare 칩 위에 코팅하여 중심파장이 658 nm인 적색 LED를 제조하였다. 적색 형광체를 이용하여, 기존의 UV LED를 여기 광원으로 다양한 느낌의 백색 발광체를 설계 할 수 있을 것이다.

Synthesis and Photoinduced Magnetic Properties of a Mn12 Single Molecule Magnet by the cis-trans Isomerism of Azobenzene

  • [$Mn_{12}O_{12}(azo-L)_{16}(H_2O)_4$] (1), a new Mn12 single molecule magnet containing a photochromic azobenzene ligand, has been successfully synthesized by substitution of acetate ligand of Mn12 with 6-[4-{4-hexyloxyphenyl( azo)}-phenoxy]hexanoic-1-acid. The reversible photoisomerization of the azobenzene group was confirmed by UV-visible absorption spectroscopy. The temperature and field dependence of dc susceptibility and the temperature and the frequency dependence of ac susceptibility were measured for the cis and the trans isomer of 1. The magnetization value of the cis isomer in dc measurement is higher than that of the trans isomer. The cis isomer of 1 has a slower relaxation because cis-trans photoisomerization of the azobenzene group in peripheral ligands induces changes in its structure and dipole moment.

Predictor factors of 1-rooted mandibular second molars on complicated root and canal anatomies of other mandibular teeth

  • Objectives: This study aimed to determine the effects of 1-rooted mandibular second molar (MnSM) teeth on root canal anatomy complexities of the mandibular central incisor (MnCI), mandibular lateral incisor (MnLI), mandibular canine (MnCn), mandibular first premolar (MnFP), mandibular second premolar (MnSP), and mandibular first molar (MnFM) teeth. Materials and Methods: Cone-beam computed tomography images of 600 patients with full lower dentition were examined. Individuals with 1-rooted MnSMs were determined, and the complexity of root canal anatomy of other teeth was compared with individuals without 1-rooted MnSMs (Group-1; subjects with at least one 1-rooted MnSM, Group-2; subjects with more than a single root in both MnSMs). A second canal in MnCIs, MnLIs, MnCns, MnFPs, and MnSPs indicated a complicated root canal. The presence of a third root in MnFMs was recorded as complicated. Results: The prevalence of 1-rooted MnSMs was 12.2%, with the C-shaped root type being the most prevalent (9%). There were fewer complicated root canals in MnCIs (p = 0.02), MnLIs (p < 0.001), and MnFPs (p < 0.001) in Group 1. The other teeth showed no difference between the groups (p > 0.05). According to logistic regression analysis, 1-rooted right MnSMs had a negative effect on having complex canal systems of MnLIs and MnFPs. Left MnSMs were explanatory variables on left MnLIs and both MnFPs. Conclusions: In individuals with single-rooted MnSMs, a less complicated root canal system was observed in all teeth except the MnFMs.

$4{\pi}{\beta}-{\gamma}$ 동시계수기술에 의한 $^{56}Mn$방사능 절대측정 (Absolute $^{56}Mn$ Activity Measurement by $4{\pi}{\beta}-{\gamma}$ Conincidence Counting Technique)

  • 황산망간 용액조장치의 $^{56}Mn\;{\gamma}$선 검출효율을 결정하는데 $^{56}Mn$용액의 방사능을 절대측정하는 것은 필수적이다 $^{56}Mn$시료를 제작하기 위하여 99.99%의 순도를 갖는 Mn금속조각 13.718mg되는 시료를 한국에너지연구소 TRIGA MARK-II 원자로의 중성자선속이 약 $10^{13}n/cm^2{\cdot}s$되는 열중성자장에서 12분간 조사시켰다. 중성자 방사화된 $^{56}Mn$금속시료를 0.1N-HCI 용액 50ml 용해시켜서 $^{56}Mn$시료를 제작하여 $4{\pi}{\beta}-{\gamma}$ 동시계수기술로 방사능을 측정한 결과 불확도 0.366%를 갖는 값으로서 1987년 10월 15일 0 시를 기준하여 408.070kBq/mg을 얻었다.
