The purpose of this study is to grasp a concept for mixed-use tendency of educational facilities, its propellant circumstance in the nation and japan, to analyze a feature of a function, a flow planing of user and the complex form which appear from an instance of the mixed-use tendentious educational facilities and is to suggest a basic matter on the architectural planning for mixed-use tendency of the regional facilities and educational facilities. The results of the study can be summarized were as follow: 1) The step of mixed-use in nation is yet the early step and a extremely feeble to compared with the japan. 2) In a case of the mixed-use tendency facility, the nation is to appear for the necessity of a region but they know of a varied facility to be mixed-use tendency in japan. 3) Much to appear monolithic form in the side of complex form. 4) To appear multi-story in the side of facility-story. 5) It is much example of separating from main entrance, the flow of interior found of dividing into not to transit or transit by the function of facility. 6) To know for being tendency of common and division by the principal of user in facility instituting E V.

This study, as one of the specific suggestions to satisfy the social needs of life long education and to overcome the limitations of the supply of regional facilities, presents plans for the possibility of the mixed-use of educational facilities and regional facilities as the ultimate objective. By focusing on the space composition of the mixed-use facility to execute the roles of the educational establishment actively and efficiently, the purpose is to present the mixed-use methodology in architectural plan on which functions to combine and by how much, when the mixed-use plan of educational facilities. The investigation objects was the 27 elementary schools in Seoul which have undergone mixed-use of educational facilities work as at August, 2007. And each educational facility was classified mixed-use functions and analyzed for the composition form of functions and the characteristics by functions. And for mixed-use facility, form types were derived from the relationship with the school buildings through the analysis on characteristics, strengths and weaknesses of each types were presented by factor-by-factor plan directions of mixed-use facility.

The objective of this study is to analyze the space usage and user evaluation of community facility in High rise Mixed-use Apartment. This study was conducted case study and questionnaire survey. Four High rise Mixed-use Apartments built since 2000 were chosen for case study and 166 residents were collected for questionnaire survey. The frequency, percentage, mean, t-test and F-test were executed through SPSS for Win 12.0 statistics package program. The types of community facilities of High rise Mixed-use Apartments were consisted of sports, child care/study, information sharing, leisure/cultural facilities. The usage percentage of community facilities increased since the residents have moved to their current residence of High rise Mixed-use Apartments from their previous residence. The most satisfactory facility was sports facilities. The satisfaction of community facilities showed high in general. The satisfaction of community facilities was significant with gender and age.

There has been a project in Japan recently to develop the mixed-use facility in order to help regenerate its city's vitality. They must make efficient use of resources that contains historical and local identity. In contrast, Korea hasn't considered developing their mixed-use facilities for maintaining their historical identity. This research will analyze how locality is reflected in the 8 mixed-use facilities in Japan. The research method was as follows: Preparatory study and literature research were conducted to extract the elements of locality shown in the mixed-use facilities in Japan. According to the results, the peculiarities of locality are as follows: 1) It's important to make the most of the local Identity by reflecting on the historical peculiarity of the region. 2) Nature and its environmental surroundings should be considered when constructing buildings in order to revitalize its local identity. 3) In the perception aspect, when a mixed-use facility is open for visit, the negative elements such as the 'peripheral regional gap' that may be felt by the visitor must be kept to the minimum.

As the educational environment is qualitatively improved by revision of the school curriculum, local residents become increasingly interested in sharing the educational environment through the mixed-use of school facilities. The purpose of this study was to obtain a better understanding of the use and need for school facilities. This study involved a literature review and a survey of local residents who have used school facilities. The results are as follows: (1) sports and learning facilities were the most used of five different types of school facilities, (2) school facilities were mainly used in the evenings (18:00~22:00 hrs), but the respondents differed in terms of time of use according to gender, age and work hours, (3) the result showed high needs for all types of facility and needs for sports facilities among them were the highest, and (4) preferred time of use was varied according to the type of facility and the residents' characteristics. In conclusion, this study explored various directions for the mixed-use of school facilities by analyzing local residents' current use and their needs for further use of these facilities, taking into account the different characteristics of the users.

Recently, amount of High-Rise Mixed-use Building is Increasing based on Preference of comfortable residence and good view. Government policies were turned to prefer about High-Rise Mixed-use Building because of decreased real estate Condition. But these changes have revealed that it has many maintenance problems for example- efficiency, economic, environmental problems. This paper suggests that the Database System based on various alternatives and real case. And it will be a tool in the scientific decision and value analysis from the facility management to make optimized decision.

This study is based on the need to reform mixed use plan of school facilities considering the characteristics of depressed downtown area. It started with the object to make a plan by deducting function of place required and corresponded to the characteristics of depressed downtown area in Pohang city. As the result of researching present status and the characteristics of six elementary schools in Pohang which the number of student has decreased, it is found that they are required to have change in the region of depressed downtown area which have fallen behind and obsolete school facilities which idle classrooms have increased and to have reformations of a city are characterized by 5 types as poor life environment, lack of cultural facilities as community institution, poor open-space and ecological environment, non-activation of conventional market and contraction of commerce industry by outflow of industry, transfer of administration operation function and etc. and the region of school under researching shows these characteristics. I planed the mixed use program with factors of local community facility, status of school facility use and depressed area's characteristics. Finally, I propose the mixed use plan of school facilities as the strong point of sustainable development which influences on and be influenced by regional characteristics and structure of city.

The satisfaction of community facilities was significant with age and the size of apartment.

The elderly population ratio of domestic is the actual condition where the countermeasure which is various for there is a possibility of saying that is already experiencing the aging society, is considered. The expansion of the elderly welfare facility of the area where is located among the rest in the situation as a matter of metropolitan area of domestic ephemerality and the price of land which the earth has, duplication operation etc. is having a problem point and the ephemerality which are various. About of composition different facility and leads with alternative and expansion and function of function and facility leads and the synergy effect which is various shows. So this study is consequently does the school facility which is located in life circle of the city center in middle of composition of the elderly welfare facility and other facility and in the object and under proposing boil the complex at the time of spatial composition blueprint with the elderly welfare facility and the school.
