화강풍화토의 동적 거동 (Dynamic Behavior of Decomposed Granite Soils)

  • 최근 우리나라도 내진설계의 필요성에 따라 지진시 등의 고변형률로부터 정밀기계기초에 미치는 미소변형률 진동까지 기초지반의 동적거동에 관한 연구가 점증하고 있는 실정이다. 한편, 화강풍화토는 국내에 가장 널리 분포되어 있는 대표적인 흙으로써 지반진동문제 해결에 필요한 지반계수 등의 동적거동 파악이 시급한 형편이나 이에 관한 연구는 극히 한정되어 있다. 본 연구는 수원지방의 화강풍화토에 대하여 간극비, 포화도가 다른 공시체를 제작하여 구속압력 및 반복응력비를 변화시켜 공진주시험과 반복삼축시험을 실시하여 불포화 화강풍화토의 동적거동을 고찰하였고 지반보강을 위하여 흔히 사용되는 흙-시멘트 혼합토에 대하여도 시멘트 혼합비와 간극비를 달리한 공시체에 대하여 같은 조건하에 동적거동을 구명하기 위한 두가지 같은 실험을 수행하였다. 연구결과 불포화 화강풍화토의 전단탄성계수는 표면장력에 지배되며 최적포화도는 간극비에 따라 공진주 시험인 경우 약 17%~l8%, 반복삼축시험인 경우 약 10%~l5% 로 나타났다. 또한, 수원지역의 화강풍화토에 대한 한계 변형률 범위와 평균전단탄성계수도 추정할 수 있었다. 한편, 일련의 공진주시험과 반복삼축시험의 결과를 토대로 하여 화강풍화토의 시멘트 혼합량에 따른 최대전단탄성계수 추정식을 비교적 조밀한 경우와 비교적 느슨한 경우로 나누어 제안하였다.

새만금 간척지 수림대 조성 방안 - 곰솔과 졸참나무의 초기 생장량 분석 - (Plan to Construct Tree Belt around Saemangeum Reclaimed Land - Analysis of Initial Growth Amount of Pinus thunbergii and Quercus serrata -)

  • This research was conducted to construct a tree belt around Saemangeum reclaimed land using various planting methods and to analyze initial growth amount, to provide practical data to construct tree belt of various purposes. Tree species used in tree belt construction were Pinus thunbergii and Quercus serrata, and the main planting treatment methods used were categorized by existence of windy fence, mixed planting, and un-mixed planting. Growth amount analysis was conducted using ANOVA to compare growth amounts in different experimental groups and Duncan's multiple range test. Growth amount analysis results of tree belt by planting method showed that it is most statistically plausible to install 50% porous windy fence from the direction of wind and frost, followed by planting P. thunbergii and Q. serrata in areas that require mixed tree species tree belt around Saemangeum reclaimed land. In areas where un-mixed planting tree belt is required, it was appropriate to use P. thunbergii alone without a windy fence. Lastly, if the purpose of the tree belt is limited to rapid growth, it was most ideal to plant P. thunbergii alone (without windy fence) or install 50% porous windy fence from the direction of wind and frost, followed by planting P. thunbergii and Q. serrata. This research is based on initial growth amount of tree belt and there is a need for a long-term monitoring of tree belt growth to increase tree-planting success rate in establishing tree belt according to Saemangeum internal development.

미각센서를 이용한 산양발효유의 저온저장 중 풍미분석 (Taste Analysis of Fermented Goat Milk during Cold Storage using an Electronic Tongue)

  • 본 연구는 상업유산균인 단일 균주와 복합 균주를 이용한 산양유의 발효형태와 저장 중 풍미변화를 조사한 결과가 있다. 복합 균주는 단일 균주보다 단시간에 있어서 낮은 pH와 높은 산도를 나타내었다. 또한 복합 균주에서는 유산균 수의 증식 속도도 빠르게 나타내었다. 관능검사는 패널의 숙련도에 따라 느끼는 맛이 다르다. 따라서 수많은 시료를 분석할 경우, 재현성이 있는 객관적인 데이터를 얻기 어려운 단점이 있다. 더욱이 우리는 미각센서를 이용하여 저장 중 풍미변화를 측정하였다. 미각센서는 단일 균주와 복합 균주를 이용한 산양발효유에 대하여 사용 균주별 다양한 풍미의 변화가 측정 가능하였다. 따라서 본 연구는 국내에서 처음으로 발효유에 있어서 미각센서를 이용하여 저온 저장기간 동안 맛 성분의 변화를 측정한 자료로 있다. 이러한 결과는 차후 유제품의 소비기한 유지에 대한 자료로서 이용가치가 크게 기대되고 있다.

나로도 주변해역의 수괴 및 어업생물의 계절별 분포특성 (The Seasonal Distribution Characteristics of Watermass and Fishery Creatures in the Adjacent Sea of Naro Island)

  • In order to investigate the seasonal variation of watermass and fishery creatures in the adjacent sea of Naro Island, an oceanographic observation was carried out seasonally on the fishing grounds, and the sales performance data of the fisheries cooperative's joint market of Naro Island was examined by using a principal component analysis. The temperature and salinity ranged from 8.1 $^{\circ}C$ to 13.7 $^{\circ}C$ and from 33.1 psu to 34.3 psu in spring, from 14.5 $^{\circ}C$ to 24.2 $^{\circ}C$ and from 30.5 psu to 34.1 psu in summer, from 14.8 $^{\circ}C$ to 18.6 $^{\circ}C$ and from 30.1 psu to 34.0 psu in autumn, and from 4.3 $^{\circ}C$ to 10.1 $^{\circ}C$ and from 33.1 psu to 34.9 psu in winter, respectively. In winter and spring, the offshore water spread out to all sea areas of all water layers. In summer, the mixed waters covered the entire sea surface whereas the mixed water and offshore water covered the bottom. In autumn, the coastal water and mixed water appeared on the surface, but the mixed water was distributed widely on the bottom and the offshore water began to appear in the open sea. For two years from 2002 to 2003, 58 fishery creature species in total were sold in the fisheries cooperative's joint market of Naro Island. In general, the total of 50% fish were sold, and crustacea and mollusc by each 25%. Medium shrimp, whiparm octopus, blue crab, and octopus predominated. A number of species and biomass of fishery creatures were sold mostly in April and May, while they were sold the least in January and February. The seasonal sales results showed that mullet, angler, short necked clam, large shrimp, and webfoot octopus were sold mainly in spring, tonguefish, flathead, pomfret, glass eel, blue crab, whiparm octopus, and squid were sold mainly in summer, and octopus, medium shrimp, and spanish mackerel were sold mainly in autumn.

LARGE-SCALE VERSUS EDDY EFFECTS CONTROLLING THE INTERANNUAL VARIATION OF MIXED LAYER TEMPERATURE OVER THE NINO3 REGION

  • Processes controlling the interannual variation of mixed layer temperature (MLT) averaged over the NINO3 domain ($150-90^{\circ}W$, $5^{\circ}N-5^{\circ}S$) are studied using an ocean data assimilation product that covers the period of 1993 to 2003. Advective tendencies are estimated here as the temperature fluxes through the domain's boundaries, with the boundary temperature referenced to the domain-averaged temperature to remove the dependence on temperature scale. The overall balance is such that surface heat flux opposes the MLT change but horizontal advection and subsurface processes assist the change. The zonal advective tendency is caused primarily by large-scale advection of warm-pool water through the western boundary of the domain. The meridional advective tendency is contributed mostly by Ekman current advecting large-scale temperature anomalies though the southern boundary of the domain. Unlike many previous studies, we explicitly evaluate the subsurface processes that consist of vertical mixing and entrainment. In particular, a rigorous method to estimate entrainment allows an exact budget closure. The vertical mixing across the mixed layer (ML) base has a contribution in phase with the MLT change. The entrainment tendency due to temporal change in ML depth is negligible comparing to other subsurface processes. The entrainment tendency by vertical advection across the ML base is dominated by large-scale changes in wind-driven upwelling and temperature of upwelling water. Tropical instability waves (TIWs) result in smaller-scale vertical advection that warms the domain during La Ni? cooling events. When the advective tendencies are evaluated by spatially averaging the conventional local advective tendencies of temperature, the apparent effects of currents with spatial scales smaller than the domain (such as TIWs) become very important as they redistribute heat within the NINO3 domain. However, such internal redistribution of heat does not represent external processes that control the domain-averaged MLT.

복합 잡음 저감을 위한 반복 가중 평균 필터 (An Iterative Weighted Mean Filter for Mixed Noise Reduction)

  • 영상데이터를 획득하거나 저장하는 과정에서는 주변 환경이나 장치의 특성에 따라 잡음이 발생한다. 또한 영상의 전송과정에서도 채널 간섭에 의한 잡음이 발생할 수 있다. 이러한 잡음은 정보의 손실을 가져옴으로써 이어지는 영상처리 단계에서 화질의 저하가 나타나게 된다. 대표적인 잡음으로는 가우시안 잡음과 임펄스 잡음을 들 수 있는데, 영상처리는 일반적으로 이들이 혼재하는 복합 잡음 환경에서 이루어진다. 본 논문에서는 복합 잡음을 저감할 수 있는 반복 가중 평균 필터를 제안한다. 먼저 입력 영상으로부터 임펄스 잡음 화소를 제거한 다음, $3{\times}3$ 슬라이딩 윈도우 영역에 대해 가중 평균 마스크 연산을 수행하여 중앙 화소값을 구하는 간단한 방법이다. 제거된 임펄스 잡음 화소가 가중 평균값으로 모두 채워질 때까지 필터링을 반복한다. 제안한 필터를 ${\sigma}=10$인 가우시안 잡음과 다양한 밀도의 임펖스 잡음이 포함된 영상에 적용하여 처리한 결과, 잡음 밀도 60% 이하에서 기존의 SAWF, AWMF, MMF 등에 비해 PSNR이 각각 최대 12.98 dB, 1.97 dB, 1.97 dB 개선되었다.

질산(窒酸)우라늄-질산(窒酸)토륨 혼합용액중(混合溶液中)의 물함량(含量) 결정식(決定式) 유도(誘導) (Derivation of An Empirical Formula for Determining Water Content of Mixed Uranyl Nitrate-Thorium Nitrate Solutions)

  • 우라늄의 용존농도(溶存濃度)와 토륨의 용존농도(溶存濃度) 및 질산(窒酸)의 노르말농도(濃度)가 서로 다른 여러가지 질산(窒酸) 우라늄-질산(窒酸)토륨 혼합용액(混合溶液)을 만들어 피크노메타(pycnometer)로서 그 밀도를 측정한 후 우라늄의 용존농도, 토륨의 용존농도 및 질산의 노르말농도만의 함수로서 물함량(含量)을 결정할 수 있는 실험식을 유도하였다. 그 결과 유도된 실험식은 $W=1.0-0.358\;C_u-0.4538\;C_{Th}-0.0307\;H^+$로서 여기에서 $W,\;C_u,\;C_{Th}$$H^+$은 각각 혼합용액중(混合溶液中)의 물함량(含量)(g/cc), 우라늄의 용존농도(溶存濃度)(g/cc), 토륨의 용존농도(溶存濃度)(g/cc) 및 질산(窒酸)의 노르말농도(濃度)를 나타낸다. 유도된 실험식에 의하여 산출된 물함량을 Bouly 등(等)의 방법으로 계산한 결과치(結果値)와 비교하였는데 그 차이는 2.7%이하인 것으로 나타났다.

  • In this paper, we present the results of the wear analysis of journal bearings on a stripped-down single-cylinder engine during start-up and coast-down by motoring. We calculate journal bearing wear by using a modified specific wear rate considering the fractional film defect coefficient and load-sharing ratio for the asperity portion of a mixed elastohydrodynamic lubrication (EHL) regime coupled with previously presented graphical data of experimental lifetime linear wear in radial journal bearings. Based on the calculated wear depth, we obtain a new oil film thickness for every crank angle. By examination of the oil film thickness, we determine whether the oil film thickness at the wear scar region is in a mixed lubrication regime by comparing dimensionless oil film thickness, h/σ, to 3.0 at every crank angle. We present the lift-off speed and the crank angles involved with the wear calculation for bearings #1 and #2. The dimensionless oil film thickness, h/σ, illustrates whether the lubrication region between the two surfaces is still within the bounds of the mixed lubrication regime after scarring of the surface by wear. In addition, we present in tables the asperity contact pressure, the real minimum film thickness at the wear scar region, the modified specific wear rate, and the wear angle, α, for bearings #1 & #2. To show the real shape of the oil film at wear scar region, we depict the actual oil film thickness in graphs. We also tabulated the ranges of bearing angles related with wear scar. We present the wear volume for bearings #1 and #2 after one turn-on and turn-off of the engine ignition switch for five kinds of equivalent surface roughness. We show that the accumulated wear volume after a single turn-on and turn-off of an ignition switch normally increases with increasing surface roughness, with a few exceptions.

Phase Behavior and Spontaneous Vesicle Formation in Aqueous Solutions of Anionic Ammonium Dodecyl Sulfate and Cationic Octadecyl Trimethyl Ammonium Chloride Surfactants

  • Phase behavior for the mixed aqueous surfactant systems of cationic octadecyl trimethyl ammonium chloride (OTAC)/anionic ammonium dodecyl sulfate (ADS)/water was examined. Below the total surfactant concentrations of 1.5 m molal, mixed micelles were formed. At the total surfactant concentrations higher than 1.5 m molal, there appeared a region where mixed micelles and vesicles coexist. As the surfactant concentration increased, the systems looked very turbid and much more vesicles were observed. The vesicles were spontaneously formed in this system and their existence was observed by negative-staining transmission electron microscopy (TEM), small-angle neutron scattering (SANS) and encapsulation efficiency of dye. The vesicle region was where the molar fraction α of ADS to the total mixed surfactant was from 0.1 to 0.7 and the total surfactant concentration was above 5 × 10-4 molality. The size and structure of the vesicles were determined from the TEM microphotographs and the SANS data. Their diameter ranged from 450 nm to 120μm and decreased with increasing total surfactant concentration. The lamellar thickness also decreased from 15 nm to 5 nm with increasing surfactant concentration and this may be responsible for the decrease in vesicle size with the surfactant concentration. The stability of vesicles was examined by UV spectroscopy and zeta potentiometry. The vesicles displayed long-term stability, as UV absorbance spectra remained unchanged over two months. The zeta potentials of the vesicles were large in magnitude (40-70 mV) and the observed longterm stability of the vesicles may be attributed to such high ζ potentials.

스포츠한의학의 활용을 위한 종합격투기 상해 분석 (A Survey on the Injuries of Mixed Martial Arts Athletes : for Oriental Sports Medicine)

  • Objectives : The purpose of this study was to investigate the type, sites and period of injuries in Mixed Martial Arts. Methods : The questionnaire composed of 26 items was used as the research tool for this study. The respondents were 84 athletes of Mixed Martial Arts who participated in Spirit MC Amateur League in September, 2007. Data analysis use chi-square examination by SPSS$^{(R)}$ 12.0 program. Results : 1. Frequently, strikers are damaged at face and waist, grapplers are damaged at knee and waist. 2. Frequently, beginers are damaged at muscle and tendon, experts are damaged at bone and joint. 3. Age, career, specialty and injured type have significant correlations. 4. Age, career, training time and concern response have significant correlations. 5. Oriental medical treatment are friendly but not well-known to the athletes. Conclusions : Injuries of Mixed Martial Arts is multifactorial, so approach of athlete's individuality is important.
