백색잡음을 혼합한 게임음악이 전전두엽에 미치는 영향 (An Effect of the Prefrontal Lobe Influenced by Game Music Mixed with White Noise)

  • 디지털미디어의 사운드는 인간의 감각을 자극하여 커뮤니케이션을 수행한다. 소리 자극은 생리적 흥분을 가져오고 반응에 민감한 상태로 각성시키는데, 이는 심장박동, 혈압, 뇌파신호로 나타난다. 본 논문에서는 이완효과가 있는 백색잡음을 혼합한 게임음악과 백색잡음이 섞이지 않은 게임음악을 듣는 게임 플레이어의 뇌파변화를 검사했다. 실험은 두 그룹으로 나누어 진행되었으며 A 그룹은 백색잡음이 섞인 게임음악을, B 그룹은 백색잡음이 섞이지 않은 게임음악을 들으며 게임을 플레이했다. 두 그룹의 전전두엽 뇌파 변화를 측정한 결과 좌뇌에서는 백색 잡음의 이완효과가 나타났으며, 우뇌의 경우는 기대치에 미치지 못했다. 본 연구는 백색잡음의 이완효과를 이용한 기능성 심리치료 게임을 개발하기 위한 기본 연구가 될 것이다.

  • 비대면 만남이 일반화 되는 시대에 기존의 사진/영상을 기반으로 한 온라인 만남에서 충족되지 못하는 영역을 확장현실이 빠르게 발전해 나가며 채워가고 있다. 하지만, 가장 보편적으로 확장현실을 경험할 수 있는, 손을 주요 입력도구로 하는 HMD(Head Mount Display)형 혼합현실에서 적용되고 있는 기본 조작들은 표준화 된 체계가 없고 각각의 제조사들에 따라 다른 손동작에 별개로 대응되어 동작하고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 혼합현실에서 수행되는 조작들의 사용성과 효율성을 고려한 체계화된 손동작 매칭체계가 필요하다고 여겨 이를 규명하는 연구를 진행하였다. 먼저, MR환경에서 수행되는 기본적인 조작과 그 속성을 규명하였고, 동시에 손의 구조와 발생할 수 있는 손동작들의 속성들을 규명하였다. 규명한 속성들을 토대로 MR(Mixed Reality)환경에서의 기본조작과 손의 구조/맥락에 따른 미묘한 작동속성을 직관적이고 효율적으로 매칭할 수 있는 체계를 제시하고자 한다.

소성 점토다공체 및 코코넛 피트를 이용한 인공지반용 혼합배지의 개발 (Developing Growth Media for Artificial Ground by Blending Calcined Clay and Coconut Peat)

  • The objective of this research was to develop growth media for artificial ground by blending calcined clay and coconut peat. To achieve this, aggregates of clay particles were mixed with disel oil and heated to high temperature(1150~120$0^{\circ}C$) to expand clays. The particle sizes of expanded clay were controlled to 2~5mm in diameter. Then expanded clayes were mixed with coconut peat and changes of soil physicochemical properties and their effect on plant growth of Hedera L. were determined. The infiltration rate of calcined clay was very high, but the water holding capacity, the cation exchange capacity(CEC), and the nutrient contents were low. The characteritics of coconut peat was vice verse to calcined clay. This indicates that the mixture of calcined clay and coconut peat have the better characteristics than each material. As compared to mineral soil, the infiltration rate, the water holding capacity, the CEC and the nutrient contents increased, but bulk density decreased to about 1/4. And, Hedera L. grown in the mixture of calcined clay and coconut peat(6:4, v/v) had higher plant height, longer leaf length, more total number of leaves per plant and fresh weight than that grown in mineral soil, but statistical differences were not observed between two treatments.

항효모성 물질에 관한 연구 (제II보) 질소대사와의 관계 (Studies on the inhibitory substance of yeast growth (Part II ) Effect on the nitrogen uptake)

  • The biochemical characteristics of Astradix -P, isolated from Astragalus membranaceus Bunge as yeaststatic substance, were reported on a previous paper. And on this report, some relation to the nitrogen metabolism of yeast was studied. Inorganic or organic source of nitrogen easily uptaking yeast did not show any antagonistic action to the inhibitory action of Astradix -P on the yeast growth. Especially an organic nitrogen source, arginine, histidine and lysine, classified to basic amino acid, was reacted as an antagonistic substance to the sample. But, ornithine, a basic amino acid, did not show any antagonistic action to the sample. In the mixed media containing neutral and acidic amino acids as a nitrogen source, yeast growth was inhibited strongly. If the basic amino acid was added to the same mixed media, the yeast growth was not inhibited by Astradix-P therefore, the antagonistic action of basic amino acid to the Astradix-p was readily observed. The yeast static action of Astradix-P was partially related to the isoelectric point of amino acid as a nitrogen source. Yeast cells which propagated under the media containing growth inhibitor, Astradix -p, did not bring any remarkable denaturation of cell structure by electro-microscopic observation.

다공성 여재를 이용한 고정생물막 반응기 특성에 관한 연구 (The study on Fixed Bio-reactor Characteristics Using Porous Media)

  • The purpose of this study is to observe a specific removal efficiency of synthethetic wastewater which is managed by upflow submerged type at porous media which was sinteringed on a comparative low temperature 600$\circ$C, was annexed slag and humus soil with main material kaolinite. Observing removal efficiency quality of each media, a mixed media of kaolinite and humus soil by gravity percent 60, 40% respectively showed the most excellent removal utility, and applied predictive models for suspended culture kinetics without consideration diffusion limitation, and when analyzed kinetic which had been processed by this study the removal efficiency accompanied by carbon, nitrogen, phosphorous volumetric loading rate variation standed for a comparative large change rate 61~71%, it means the selection of the most proper load factor had a great effect on the highly removal efficiency, yield coefficient(Y) and specific microbial attach equation showed 1.53 mgVSS/mgCOD, $m_p=10039.4\times ((S_0)/(6.75+S_0))$ repectively.

  • According to developing digital media, the delivery and the collection of information are changing with a variety of ways. Especially, digital, as it is, is easy for its sound, video and letter to be mixed. Therefore, media character, Audio-Visual will appear in total. Hypertext must be a basic form in the traveling way of media information which includes such digital Quality in originality. Taking advantage of digital media trait of hypertext , most users can make a research on a variety of studying method.   • In contemporary architecture, there are developing aspects of variety design in material, image and form. These various architectural trends even change classical media and this concept is based on the background of current idea - digital, information-media, imagination with paradigm. So this study aims to show the present status of the expressions in the contemporary architecture of Korea under its media situation. Namely usual thoughts for design have to be changed because our life is surrounded by many kinds of powerful media signs and various mixed cultural circumstances. And like this, we know for study about the relation between media and current architecture, still more Korean present condition. In chapter one, the background, purpose and method of study are explained. In chapter two, the general concept of media is inquired in this study. In the process of searching for the formingbasic background, the characteristic of this study is understood. In chapter three, this study inquires the aspect of media expression in modern architecture. In chapter four, according to chapter three, this study shows the present status of media expressions in the contemporary architecture of Korea. In chapter five, a synthetic conclusion is presented.

A column study of effect of filter media on the performance of sand filter

  • Sand filter is a key unit process for particle removal in water purification treatments. Its long-standing use is due to on-site customized retrofit. Proper selection of filter media is one of the retrofit approaches to improve filter performance. This study described a series of controlled laboratory column tests and examined the effects of media property on filtration and backwash. When sand media of 0.51 mm in effective size was replaced by sand of 0.60 mm, the filter run increased up to 5 times in the given bed depth. The change of media property required an increase of backwash rate by 0.05 m/min to satisfy the requirement of bed expansion, more than 20%. When the anthracite was changed with lower effective size and uniformity coefficient, correlation with sand in the filter bed could be satisfied within the permissible error between media and bulk characteristics. Besides, this selection resulted in a well-stratified configuration of media layers after bed expansion. The column study showed that the correlation of property between the dual media had a significant effect on the filter productivity and backwash interval.

질소 및 인에 대한 흡착특성이 다른 여재를 사용한 지하흐름형 인공습지 효율 평가 (Performance Evaluation of Subsurface-flow Wetland with Media Possessing Different Adsorption Capacities for Nitrogen and Phosphorus)

  • Constructed wetland has been widely used for the treatment of sewage, stormwater runoff, industrial wastewater, agricultural runoff, acid mine drainage and landfill leachate. For the removal of nitrogen and phosphorus, uptake by plants and adsorption to media material are the major processes, and, therefore, the selection of media with specific adsorption capacity is the critical factor for the optimal design of wetland along with the selection of appropriate plant species. In this study, two media materials (loess bead and mixed media) possessing different adsorption characteristics for ammonium and phosphate were selected, and their adsorption characteristics were evaluated. In addition, the performance of subsurface-flow wetland systems employing these media was evaluated in both batch and continuous flow systems. With LB medium, beter phosphorus removal was observed, while better ammonia removal was obtained with MM medium. In addition, enhanced removal efficiencies were observed in the wetland systems employing both media and aquatic plants, mainly due to the better environment for microbial growth. As a result, appropriate selection or combination of media with respect to the inflow water quality maybe important factors for the successful design and operation of wetland systems.

분리된 동충하초 균주를 이용한 자실체 생산 (Production of Fruiting Body Using Cultures of Entomopathogenic Fungal Species)

  • 배양실내에서 인공적으로 자실체의 형성을 유도한 결과 PDA와 번데기분말을 혼합한 배지상에서는 자실체의 형성을 유도할 수 없었다. 쌀을 이용한 곡물 배지에 수분함량을 달리하고 번데기를 첨가하여 시험을 실시한 결과 알락미에서는 곡물:수분함량이 1:3.5의 비율로 한배양기에서 가장 왕성한 자실체 생산을 보여 주었으며 현미의 경우는 곡물: 수분함량이 1:2.5로 조성된 배양기와 번데기를 첨가한 배양기에서 우수한 자실체 형성을 보여주었다. 자실체 형성적정 온도로는 $20^{\circ}C$가 적합한 것으로 밝혀졌다. 현미와 번데기를 첨가하며 조제한 배양기내에서 자실체형성을 유도한 결과 자실체 형성 우수균주로서 최종 C. militaris 25균주, C. scarabaeicola 2균주 등 27개 균주를 선발할 수 있었다. 현미와 누에번데기를 넣어 만든 배양기내에서의 자실체 형성은 약 50일내지 65일 사이에 완전한 형태의 자실체 형성을 볼 수 있었다.
