레미콘 회수수를 이용한 침강성 탄산칼슘 제조에 관한 연구 (Study on preparation of precipitated calcium carbonate using recycling water of ready-mixed Concrete)

  • 본 연구에서는 액-액 반응에 의한 액상탄산화법을 이용하여 탄산칼슘을 제조하였다. MEA를 사용하여 습식화학수법의 셔틀메카니즘을 도입하였다. MEA 30% 수용액에 고농도 이산화탄소(A)와 배기가스(B)를 사용하여 이산화탄소를 포집하였으며, 액상탄산화과정을 통해 슬러지 mg 당 0.35 mg의 이산화탄소를 고정하였다. 최종생성물의 SEM 분석결과 탄산칼슘의 구조는 calcite가 혼합되어 있으나 대부분 구형 vaterite가 생성되었다.

Sales Energy Promotion Efficiency and Policy Utilization Plan for Energy Facilities

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to enhance sales promotion efficiency for using solid refuse fuel facilities. Renewable energy technology using Solid Refuse Fuel (SRF) is an economic efficiency technology that recovers waste by burning various wastes. A survey on the pollutants discharged from the solid fuels facilities was investigated so that the SRF facilities could be expanded, distributed and reflected in the policy. Research design, data, and methodology: In this study, 9 business sites using SRF and Bio-SRF as main raw materials were investigated for 2 years. The characteristics of target business sites such as the type of fuel used, combustion method, combustion temperature, daily fuel consumption and environmental prevention facilities were studied. Results: The average pollution & ammonia concentration of Bio-SRF facilities was found to be 88.15% higher than that of SRF facilities. But the average acetaldehyde concentration of SRF facilities was found to be 88.15% higher than that of Bio-SRF facilities. Conclusions: The main issue is how much electric power generation using combustible materials affects air pollution. The waste recycling law provides the standard value according to the fuel property, but there is a considerable gap with the mixed fuel. Therefore, for efficient utilization of facilities using solid fuel products, additional research is needed to improve the distribution structure of exhaust pollutants is needed.

저농도 바이오알코올 혼합연료의 엔진 성능평가 연구 (A Study on the Engine Performance of Low Level Bio-alcohol Fuels)

  • An experimental study on engine performance and emission characteristics for bio-alcohol fuels considered as RFS fuel. The Bio-alcohol fuel were mixed ethanol and butanol and used in a 1.8 liter mpi engine. The efficiency of the BSFC is excellent in the maximum torque operation condition and the part load operation condition. As the bio-alcohol mixing ratio increased, the lambda <1 and ignition timing advanced $5^{\circ}CA$. As the mixing concentration increased, NOx emission increase and $CO_2$ emission decreased.

돈분과 톱밥혼합물의 연속 및 간헐 통기 퇴비화에서 암모니아 휘산 (Ammonia Emissions from Composting Hog Manure Amended with Sawdust under Continuous and Intermittent Aeration)

  • Ammonia emissions during composting of hog manure mixed with sawdust were studied in four runs comprising a total of 22 pilot-scale reactor vessels. These four runs extended previous work and both verified and extended the previous conclusions. The pilot-scale vessels were 205 L insulated stainless steel drums that were aerated either continuously (high/low thermostatically controlled fans) or intermittently (5 min high fan 55 min off). Temperature ammonia emissions air flow rates carbon dioxide production and oxygen utilization moisture and dry matter reduction initial and final chemical compositions were measured. Ammonia emissions from the intermittently aerated vessels were only about 50% as great as those from the continuously aerated ones but this was found to be a result more related to total air flow than to aeration technique. All of the data for total result more related to total air flow were fitted with a linear regression line y=0.139x+29.835 where y is ammonia expressed as g of N and x is air flow in kg with $R^2$=0.6808. this general trend indicates that about 50% reduction in ammonia emissions can be achieved with 75% reduction in air flow. For the aeration techniques used the minimum oxygen level in te exhaust gas from the vessels was 5% and this is probably a resonable lower limit constraining air flow reduction. However within this constraint lower air flow now appears to be a technique that can reduce odorous ammonia emissions.

  • This study describes the characteristics of combustion and exhaust emission in the special engine applying a fuel reactivity controlled compression ignition (RCCI) concept with two different energizing type (solenoid and piezoelectric) injectors for diesel injection. A diesel-gasoline mixed dual-fuel reactivity controlled compression ignition concept is demonstrated as a promising method to achieve high thermal efficiency and low emission in internal combustion engines for transportation vehicles. For investigating the combustion characteristics of RCCI, engine experiments were performed in a light-duty diesel engine over a range of injection timing and mixing rate of gasoline in mass. It was investigated that by increasing the nozzle hole diameter, increasing the combustion pressure and the net indicated mean effective pressure. $NO_x$ and soot can be reduced by advancing start of injection in 84 mixing rate of gasoline in mass. The resulting operation showed that light duty engine could achieve 48 percent net indicated efficiency and 191[g/kW-hr] net indicated specific fuel consumption with lower levels of nitrogen oxides and soot.

고순도 수소함량에 따른 HCNG 연소특성 및 배출가스 영향 평가 (The Effect on the Combustion and Emission Characteristics of HCNG Engine According to the High Purity Hydrogen Contents)

  • This investigation decribes the effect of the combustion and emission characteristics of HCNG engine according to the high purity hydrogen contents. The HCNG fuel was made by the mixture with a high purity hydrogen ($H_2$) and a natural gas. The test vehicle was applied to the bi-fuel (Gasoline and CNG) system and this system was modified from the fuel supply and fuel tank. In addition, the three premixed HCNG fuels with mixed rate of 10, 20 and 30% of hydrogen were used to maintain the safety. In order to analyze the combustion characteristics of HCNG and CNG, the fuel was injected in the combustor with constant volume. The exhaust emission from light duty vehicle with bi-fuel system was analyzed by a chassis dynamometer and emission analyzer. From these results, the reduction rate of NOx emission increased in the HCNG fuel and emission amount of THC and CO shows a similar level with CNG fuel. This study can be utilized the basic data for the development of a new business plans related with HCNG engines.

  • In conventional closed-loop crankcase ventilation systems, the lubrication oil had to be re-circulated to the intake manifold, in the form of oil mist mixed with the blow-by gas. This blow-by gas containing the engine lubricant oil affects on the engine problems and the exhaust emissions. A high-efficient oil separator is required to minimize consumption of engine oil and reduce harmful emissions. In the conventional oil separator of CI engines, it has good oil separation performance even though separator design is simple, due to lots of the blow-by gas. As the emission regulation becomes severe, the oil separator for SI engines is also required. But in SI engines, separator design should be optimized, due to small size of oil particles and little amount of blow-by gas. In this study, oil separation performance classified by diameter of oil mist in cylinder head cover internal model which has three cyclones and two baffle plates for SI engine is calculated with CFD methodology.

초고온 호기성 퇴비화 공정을 이용한 음식물쓰레기 처리 특성 평가 (Estimation of Characteristics Treatment for Food Waste using Ultra Thermophilic Aerobic Composting Process)

  • This study was conducted to evaluate the effects of physical characteristics. Twelve specific odorous compounds and various sources of bacteria were tested via treatment of food waste using an ultra-thermophilic aerobic composting process. Food waste was mixed with seed material and operated for 47 days. During composting, the temperature was maintained at $80-90^{\circ}C$. The variations in $O_2$, $CO_2$ and $NH_3$ production suggested typical microorganism-driven organic decomposition patterns. After composting, the concentrations of 12 specific odorous compounds other than ammonia did not exceed the allowable exhaust limits for odor. After composting, thermophiles represented 50% of all bacteria. After composting, the percentage of thermophile bacterial increased by 15%. Therefore, both stable composting operation and economic benefit can be expected when an ultra-thermophilic composting process is applied to food waste.

연소배가스 모니터링을 위한 $SnO_{2}$계 CO센서의 검지특성 (Sensing Characteristics of $SnO_{2}$ type CO sensors for combustion exhaust gases monitoring)

  • $SnO_{2}$$V_{2}O_{5}/ThO_{2}/Pd$를 도핑하여 제조된 센서는 약 $500^{\circ}C$의 높은 센서 온도에서 CO에 대해 우수한 선택도와 안전성 및 빠른 응답특성을 보였다. 특히, $V_{2}O_{5}$를 약 3.0 wt.% 첨가하여 선택도에 있어서 CO 감도에 대해 $NO_{x}$, $C_{3}H_{8}$, $CH_{4}$$SO_{2}$같은 많은 간섭가스들의 영향이 적음을 알았다. 센서 제조는 $V_{2}O_{5}$(3.0 wt.%), $ThO_{2}$(1.5wt.%), Pd(1.0 wt.%)의 촉매물질과 함께 기존에 잘 알려진 후막기술을 이용하였다. 일반적으로 연소배가스처럼 $NO_{x}$와 CO가 혼합되어 있는 복합가스의 경우, $SnO_{2}$계 반도체 센서로는 CO만의 검지는 $NO_{x}$ 간섭 때문에 대단히 어렵다. 본 센서는 공연비제어를 요하는 자동차나 보일러 시스템의 연소배가스의 측정과 감시에 사용할 수 있을 것이다.

코안다 노즐을 이용한 배기가스 재순환 장치의 형상에 따른 재순환 유동 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Recirculation Flow Characteristics with the Change of Shape in a Flue Gas Recirculation Device using Coanda Nozzle)

  • 본 연구는 폐기물 소각로에서 질소산화물 저감을 위해 고온의 배기가스를 연소로에서 재순환하여 연소용 공기와 혼합하여 배기가스 재순환을 이용한 방법에서 고온의 배기가스를 별도의 동력 팬이 없이 코안다 노즐을 이용한 배기가스 재순환 장치에 관한 연구이다. 코안다 노즐에서 공기 공급 노즐 간극의 변화와 공기 공급 노즐의 위치에 따른 배기가스 재순환 유량 특성과 혼합 가스의 출구에서 평균온도 변화를 살펴보았다. 공기 공급 노즐의 간극이 3.22, 4.03, 4.84 mm로 변할 때 가장 좁은 3.22 mm일 때가 배기가스 재순환 유량과 공기 공급 유량의 비인 배기가스 재순환 유량비가 2.227로 가장 재순환 유량이 크게 나타났고 혼합가스 평균 온도는 $594.8^{\circ}C$로 나타났다. 공기 공급 노즐의 위치가 코안다 노즐 목의 전방 위치, 목 위치, 확관 위치로 변할 때를 살펴보았으며 전방 위치와 목 위치일 때는 재순환 유량비가 1.843으로 거의 같은 값이고 확관 위치에서는 1.696으로 나타났으며 평균 온도는 $559.8^{\circ}C$$544.3^{\circ}C$로 나타났다.
