In this study, the fire resistance test was carried out with a parameter such as fiber(PP+NY) mixed ratio on high strength concrete with 80MPa, and the spalling resistance property was evaluated. Concrete material test was carried out with a parameter such as fiber(PP+NY) mixed ratio(0%, 0.05%, 0.1%, 0.2%) of high strength concrete with 80MPa. Although the flowability and the strength capacity were delicately decreased with a increase of fiber mixed ratio, they satisfied the target limits. As the spalling resistance property after the fire resistance test of 3 hours, the spalling was partly shown on the high strength concrete with fiber(PP+NY) mixed ratio of 0% but, wasn't shown on the high strength concrete with fiber(PP+NY) mixed ratio of 0.05% ~ 0.2%.
The effects of binder content and PA content on the flexural, compressive and impact strengths, water absorption and frezzing and thawing of polymer concrete using mixed waste plastics are examined. As a result the flexural, compressive and impact strengths of the polymer concretes using mixed waste plastics tend to increase with increasing binder content and filler content, regardless of the PA content. The flexural, compressive and impact strengths of the polymer concretes using mixed waste plastics decrease with increasing PA content. The water absorption of the polymer concretes using mixed waste Plastics tend to decreased with increasing binder content, regardless of the PA content. The durability factor of the polymer concretes using mixed waste plastics tend to increased with increasing binder content. However, the durability factor of the polymer concretes using mixed waste plastics tend to decreased with increasing PA content.

The study conducted an experiment in which residual aggregate and polypropylene fibers are mixed in concrete, and an experiment in which granite and polypropylene fibers are mixed. Two types of experiments, in particular, changed the amount of polypropylene fibers, and examined the mechanical properties of slump, compressive strength, tensile strength and the like. To establish a light and easy-to-use material for landscape construction and packaging material development by comparing two kinds of experimental results, comparing and analyzing residual aggregate as experimental materials and materials using granite soil to prevent partial destruction due to cracks in drying shrinkage. The more the amount of the PP fibers increases in concrete, the more the volume of the PP fibers increases, the less the slump is determined. As a result of the compressive strength, the cast-down earth concrete is measured to be about 59% to 71% of the concrete strength. As the amount of PP fibers mixed in increased, the compression strength showed a relative decrease. As a result of tensile strength, it is found that the granite concrete is about 68-67% of concrete tensile strength. It was found that the compression strength decreased as the amount of PP fibers mixed in concrete or fire-gant concrete was increased. Then, when polypropylene fibers are mixed in the concrete and the concrete, it is found that tensile strength is increased. By analyzing these results, a fixed amount of PP fiber is mixed in the concrete mixed with the granite soil and utilized for various structures in the field of landscape construction or materials related to packaging, the prevention and improvement effect of the structure is determined.

This research examined the effect of the quality of aggregate on concrete workability and compressive strength through an investigation into regional aggregate used in domestic ready mixed concrete plants. Through the research, it was found that aggregate for ready mixed concrete shows poor quality overall. The main factor of deterioration in the quality of the concrete is the particle size of fine aggregate and fine particle content in coarse aggregate. The quality of aggregate significantly influences concrete's workability, which is defined based on 0.08mm passage related with powder and absorption. In addition, poor aggregate quality leads to increased water content in concrete to secure workability, which is related with a decline in the compressive strength and durability of concrete.

The steel slag, a by-product which is produced on the process of manufacturing steel by refining pig iron is mainly used as road materials after aging it. It is necessary to age steel slag for long time in air because the reaction with water and free-CaO in steel slag could make the volume expanded. Due to this reason it prevents steel slag from being used as aggregate of concrete. But steel slag used in this study is controled by a air-jet method which rapidly cools substance melted at a high temperature. Rapid cooling prevents from generating of free-CaO in steel slag. In this study, it was investigated that steel slag manufactured by air-jet method affects on concrete in the freezing and thawing. As results of this study, concrete mixed with steel slag was worse in the freezing and thawing than concrete mixed with sand in spite of using air entraining agent. To obtain durability of concrete in the freezing and thawing, it is desirable to mix 50% of steel slag in concrete per unit weight of volume.

As conventional grouting materials for the sheath such as cement slurry or cement-mortar are mixed and pumped in site, those harden with bleeding or shrinkage and meets low compressive strength. Also the materials haven't always same cements, sand size distributions, additives in site, so those materials have unstable quality properties. We have studies on ready-mixed-mortar for grouting pretensioned or post-tensioned cables and rods to encapsulate the steel so that we have developed a formulation of specially selected, flowable, shrinkage-compensating materials.
The aim of this study was to investigate the fundamental properties of pyroclastic flow deposit (PFD), and evaluate the fresh and strength properties of concrete mixed with PFD by indoor tests. The fresh properties, strength properties, shrinkage properties, and durability of the concrete mixed with PFD were also evaluated by outdoor plant tests. the harmful alkali-silica reaction did not occur by mixing concrete with PFD. ages. Moreover, no difficulty was found to be associated with concrete manufacture in the plant because no change in air contents and noticeable slump loss occurred by mixing concrete with PFD. The strength properties, shrinkage properties, and durability of the concrete mixed with PFD were also compared with those of normal concrete. With a suitable temperature control and curing method of concrete, the concrete mixed with PFD is considered to be useful in the construction material field.
The physical properties of freshly mixed steel fiber reinforced recycled concrete(SFRRC) were_investigated. Physical state and quality of fresh concrete were monitored batch by batch. the properties of freshly mixed SFRRC were determined in terms of slump, air content, superplasticizer, and bleeding ratio. Concrete mixtures were produced for three kinds of aggregate proportions. So, the experimental variables are various aggregate proportions, steel fiber contents(0, 0.5, 1.0, 1.5%) and steel length(30, 50, 60mm). From experimental results, optimum s/a by various experimental variables, variations of the slump by the air contents, and optimum superplasticizer to decrease unit water were presented.
This study investigates a new method of using a concrete disk to calculate stress intensity factor (SIF) for mixed mode cases. The results indicate that the disk method is more accurate than three point bending test (TPB) in obtaining correct SIF values for mixed mode fracture propagation. Stress intensity factors $K_{I}$ and $K_{II}$ are calculated using a center notched disk subjected to splitting load. The notch angle is calculated by finite element (FEM). Fracture toughness $K_\textsc{k}$ of the concrete is obtained from the load intensities at the initiation of crack propagation. According to the finite element analysis(FEA) and disk test, the results show that mode I and mixed mode cracks propagate toward the directions of crack face and loading point, respectively. The results from FEA with maximum stress theory compare well with the experimental date. Unlike TPB method where an accurate fracture toughness value is difficult to obtain due to the irregular shape of load deflection curve and delayed final crack propagation (following slow stable cracking). fracture toughness value is easily measured in the disk test from the crack initial load. Therefore, it is safe to conclude that disk method is more advantageous than TPB method in analyzing combined mode fracture problems.
Theoretical definitions of mixed behavior of PE panel and connote should have preceded to cause a mixed behavior of connote and polyethylene which have different elastic module, one-line expansion coefficients, poison ratios, compressive strengths and tensile strengths. Consequently, changes are analyzed through experiment process to identify the effects on interpretation of mixed behavior on the basis of temperature change of structures, temperature rise of concrete other than PE panel due to hydration heat temperature rise of concrete other than PE panel due to drying and contraction, working of hydrostatic pressure by storage and temperature gradient From the results of interpretation of the analysis, it is concluded that PE panel have slight influences on the change of guess of structures and maintains structural stability compared with concrete structures without PE panel.
