회절연산 정밀도에 따른 CGH 기반 홀로그램 생성 품질 분석 (Quality Analysis on Computer Generated Hologram Depending on the Precision on Diffraction Computation)

  • 컴퓨터 생성 홀로그래피는 일반 이미지에 비해 연산 부하와 메모리 요구량이 크다. 본 논문은 정밀도를 낮추어 연산속도를 높이는저정밀도(low-precision) 및 혼합정밀도(mixed precision) 연산 방법을 회절연산에 적용하여, 정밀도에 따른 홀로그램의 생성 속도와 품질의 변화를 분석한다. 본 논문은 배정밀도, 단정밀도, bfloat16 정밀도에서의 회전 연산을 비교하였으며, bfloat16의 회절연산의 속도가 배정밀도에 비해 최대 5.94배, 단정밀도에 비해 1.52배 빠른 것을 확인하였다. 또한, MSE, PSNR, SSIM을 기준으로 회절 연산의오차를 측정하였으며, 정밀도가 낮아질수록 홀로그램 품질이 낮아지는 것을 확인했다. 하지만, 정성적인 이미지 품질에는 유의미한 영향이 없는 것을 확인했다. 이러한 결과는, bfloat16등 낮은 정밀도 연산의 홀로그램 연산으로의 적용 가능성을 보여준다.

Impact of Estuarine Dams on the Estuarine Parameter Space and Sediment Flux Decomposition: Idealized Numerical Modeling Study

  • Estuarine dams are constructed for securing freshwater resources, flood control, and improving upstream navigability. However, their impact on estuarine currents, stratification, and sediment fluxes is not well understood. To develop a general understanding, an idealized modeling study was carried out. Tide and river forcing were varied to produce strongly stratified, partially mixed, periodically stratified, and well-mixed estuaries. Each model ran for one year. Next, the models were subject to the construction of an estuarine dam and run for another year. Then, the pre- and post-dam conditions were compared. Results showed that estuarine dams can amplify the tidal range and reduce the tidal currents. The post-dam estuaries tended to be a salt wedge during freshwater discharge and a bay during no freshwater discharge. For all estuaries, the estuarine turbidity maximum moved seaward, and the suspended sediment concentrations tended to decrease. In terms of sediment flux mechanisms, the estuarine dam increased the seaward river runoff for cases with strong river, and increased the landward tidal pumping for cases with strong tides.

도시 주거지 학교와 공원의 주차장 입체화 사례의 형태와 이용 특성 분석 (Physical Characteristics and the Utilization of Mixed-use Schools and Parks with Parking Facilities in Urban Residential Areas)

  • According to the change of the life environment and economic growth, the more highly a city has developed, the more concentrated is the urban function. That is, a city is required for adding more infrastructure. But, both limited land resources and financial problems made it impossible to add infrastructure. So, the necessity of multi-dimensional planning of urban infrastructure was recognized. Especially, in the urban residential area, a mixed-use of the playground of a school and the empty space of a park is desired to serve the issue of insufficient parking spaces. Schools and parks are closely connected to the center of a town, and playing a central role for the town life. For this reason, they are highly demanded in urban residential areas and also expected to be effective. However, we need to consider not only parking convenience but also the safety of users in design process, because people using parks and schools include young students and the elderly. In this study, we mainly examined physical characteristics and the utilization of schools and parks with parking facilities in urban residential areas. Then, we analyzed cases through comparing and evaluating in terms of convenience and safety. and weighed up advantages and disadvantages of each through the comparison of the schools and the parks having parking facilities. The results of this study are expected to provide fundamental references for preparing design standards for such facilities.

혼합치열기의 함치성 낭종 치료 시 영구치의 맹출과 자가치아이식 (ERUPTION AND AUTOTRANSPLANTATION OF A PERMANENT TOOTH RELATED TO DENTIGEROUS CYST IN MIXED DENTITION)

  • Purpose: Dentigerous cyst is the most common intra-osseous lesion of the jaw. Dentigerous cysts can cause delays in eruption of the affected permanent tooth in mixed dentition. It has been suggested that the affected permanent tooth could be erupted spontaneously after the dentigerous cyst was enucleated. But in some cases, orthodontic treatment or autotransplantation technique is known to be required. This study reviews previously performed prognoses of affected permanent teeth, which will lead to a more efficient treatment plan. Patients and Methods: With 28 patients who have undergone cyst enucleation and 10 patients who have undergone autotransplantation, the prognosis of permanent teeth was observed. Results: After cyst enucleation, spontaneous eruption of a permanent tooth was observed in 56.3% patients, orthodontic treatment was performed in 25% patients. The success rate of autotransplantation was 60.0%. Discussion: The first choice for treatment of dentigerous cyst in mixed dentition is to guide spontaneous eruption of permanent teeth. For cases without enough eruption space, the orthodontic treatment should be considered. Autotransplantation should be considered when the spontaneous eruption is not expected. It should be considered that the rate of successful autotransplantation is decreased on maxilla anterior area.

  • Background: Mandibular motion tracking system (ManMoS) has been developed for orthognathic surgery. This article aimed to introduce the ManMoS and to examine the accuracy of this system. Methods: Skeletal and dental models are reconstructed in a virtual space from the DICOM data of three-dimensional computed tomography (3D-CT) recording and the STL data of 3D scanning, respectively. The ManMoS uniquely integrates the virtual dento-skeletal model with the real motion of the dental cast mounted on the simulator, using the reference splint. Positional change of the dental cast is tracked by using the 3D motion tracking equipment and reflects on the jaw position of the virtual model in real time, generating the mixed-reality surgical simulation. ManMoS was applied for two clinical cases having a facial asymmetry. In order to assess the accuracy of the ManMoS, the positional change of the lower dental arch was compared between the virtual and real models. Results: With the measurement data of the real lower dental cast as a reference, measurement error for the whole simulation system was less than 0.32 mm. In ManMoS, the skeletal and dental asymmetries were adequately diagnosed in three dimensions. Jaw repositioning was simulated with priority given to the skeletal correction rather than the occlusal correction. In two cases, facial asymmetry was successfully improved while a normal occlusal relationship was reconstructed. Positional change measured in the virtual model did not differ significantly from that in the real model. Conclusions: It was suggested that the accuracy of the ManMoS was good enough for a clinical use. This surgical simulation system appears to meet clinical demands well and is an important facilitator of communication between orthodontists and surgeons.

터널 발파에서의 저폭속폭약과 일반폭약의 혼용장약법 (The Mixed Charging Method with Low-velocity Explosives and Normal Explosives in Tunnel Blasting)

  • 도심지 터널 즉 터널의 상부 근접한 거리에 보안물건이 존재하는 경우 일반적인 폭약만을 사용해서는 발파진동을 규제치내에서 조절이 불가능하여 폭약공법이 아닌 무진동, 미진동 공법을 사용해야 한다. 하지만 무진동 공법들은 터널굴착공사비가 크게 증가 하게 되며, 또 공사기간도 길어진다. 일반적으로 노천채굴에서는 폭속이 약2,000 m/s 정도인 저폭속폭약이 응용 사용되어 왔으나 터널발파에는 사용되지 않았다. 본 연구에서는 저폭속폭약을 일반 폭약과 공내에서 혼용장약하여 발파작업을 한 결과 일반 폭약으로 발파하는 것보다 진동이 25~30%정도가 감소하였다. 도심지터널 및 보안물건 근접한 터널에서는 진동규제치내에서 미진동으로 시공할 수 있는 저폭속폭약과 일반폭약을 혼용 사용하는 발파 방법을 사용하는 것이 효과적인 것으로 나타났다.

  • Recently we have discovered that sediments should be separated from lithosphere, and soil should be separated from biosphere, both sediment and soil will be mixed sediments-soil-sphere (Seso-sphere), which is using particulate mechanics to be solved. Erosion and sediment both are moving by particulate matter with water or wind. But ancient sediments will be erosion same to soil. Nowadays, real soil has already reduced much more. Many places have only remained sediments that have ploughed artificial farming layer. Thus it means sediments-soil-sphere. This paper discusses sediments-soil-sphere erosion modeling. In fact sediments-soil-sphere erosion is including water erosion, wind erosion, melt-water erosion, gravitational water erosion, and mixed erosion. We have established geographical remote sensing information modeling (RSIM) for different erosion that was using remote sensing digital images with geographical ground truth water stations and meteorological observatories data by remote sensing digital images processing and geographical information system (GIS). All of those RSIM will be a geographical multidimensional gray non-linear equation using mathematics equation (non-dimension analysis) and mathematics statistics. The mixed erosion equation is more complex that is a geographical polynomial gray non-linear equation that must use time-space fuzzy condition equations to be solved. RSIM is digital image modeling that has separated physical factors and geographical parameters. There are a lot of geographical analogous criterions that are non-dimensional factor groups. The geographical RSIM could be automatic to change them analogous criterions to be fixed difference scale maps. For example, if smaller scale maps (1:1000 000) that then will be one or two analogous criterions and if larger scale map (1:10 000) that then will be four or five analogous criterions. And the geographical parameters that are including coefficient and indexes will change too with images. The geographical RSIM has higher precision more than mathematics modeling even mathematical equation or mathematical statistics modeling.

다수 레미콘사에서 납품된 콘크리트 품질 편차에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Quality Deviation of High-Strength Concrete from Multiple Ready Mixed Concrete Companies)

  • 대형 현장의 경우 다수의 레미콘사에서 콘크리트를 납품받게 되는 경우가 많으나 동일 콘크리트 배합표를 사용하더라도 재료와 제조장비의 등의 차로 인해 품질에 편차가 있을 것으로 생각된다. 하지만 그러한 검토 실적은 미비한 실정에 본 연구에서는 부산 지역의 12개 레미콘사에서 납품 받은 콘크리트를 대상으로 굳기 전 콘크리트 물성 및 압축강도, 염소이온 확산계수를 측정하였다. 굳기 전 콘크리트 물성은 기준을 만족하였고 압축강도는 설계기준 압축강도 대비 128%를 나타내었다. 염소이온 확산계수의 경우도 큰 편차없이 설계기준 압축강도별 평균값을 도출할 수 있었다. 압축강도는 강도가 높을수록 편차가 컸으며 염소이온 확산계수는 강도가 낮을수록 편차가 큰 경향을 파악할 수 있었다.

컨볼루션 혼합신호의 암묵 잡음분리방법 (Blind Noise Separation Method of Convolutive Mixed Signals)

  • 본 논문은 시간지연 컨볼루션 혼합신호의 암묵잡음분리방법에 관한 것이다. 폐쇄된 공간에서 음향신호의 혼합모델은 다채널이기 때문에 convolutive 암묵신호분리방법을 적용하며 두 마이크 입력신호의 시간지연된 데이터 샘플들을 사용한다. 이 신호분리방법은 분리계수를 직접 계산하는 것이 아니라 역방향 모델을 이용하여 혼합계수를 산출하며, 계수의 갱신이 2차 통계적 성질에 기반한 반복적인 계산에 의해 이루어진다. 제안한 암묵신호분리의 성능을 검증하기 위해 많은 시뮬레이션을 수행하였다. 모의실험 결과, 이 방법을 사용한 잡음분리는 컨볼루션혼합에 상관없이 안전하게 동작하고, 일반적인 적응 FIR(Finite Impulse Response) 필터구조에 비해 PESQ(Perceptual Evaluation of Speech Quality)가 0.3점 개선되는 것으로 나타났다.

MR 기반 3차원 생체 객체 인식 및 정합을 위한 방법 설계와 해석 연구 (A Study on Design and Analysis of Method for MR-based 3D Biological Object Recognition and Matching)

  • 혼합 현실(MR : Mixed Reality) 기술의 발전은 의료 지원 장비 연구와 개발에 큰 영향을 주고 있다. 특히 현장에서 발생하는 응급 상황에 효과적으로 대응할 수 있도록 지원한다. MR 기술은 가상 정보를 실세계에 결합시켜 사용자가 실세계에서 가상 객체를 볼 수 있게 함으로써 응급 처치 및 현장 지원의 접근을 가능하게 한다. 그러나 장비의 특성 상 가상 객체를 사용자 시각 기준으로 정확히 일치시키는 것은 한계가 있다. 이러한 한계를 개선하기 위해 본 논문은 MR 환경에서의 3차원 생체 객체 인식 및 정합 알고리즘을 제안한다. 실험 결과, 사용자 측면에서 광학 기반 HMD를 장착한 상태에서 가상 오브젝트가 렌더링되어 가시화될 때 사용자의 시야인지 오차를 줄일 수 있었고 스켈레톤 인식 중 관절-Loss 현상을 없앨 수 있었다. 제안 방법은 실제 사용자 시야와 가상 이미지 사이의 오차를 줄이며, 가상 객체 인식 및 정합 과정에서 발생하는 오차를 감소시키는 기초를 제공할 수 있다. 본 연구를 활용하여 응급 처치를 위한 원격 의료 지원 시스템의 정확도를 개선하는 데 이바지할 것으로 기대된다.
