The purpose of this research is to develop and evaluate a traffic engineering architecture that uses local state information. This architecture is applied to an Internet protocol radio access network (RAN) that uses multi-protocol label switching (MPLS) and differentiated services to support mobile hosts. We assume mobility support is provided by a protocol such as the hierarchical mobile Internet protocol. The traffic engineering architecture is router based-meaning that routers on the edges of the network make the decisions onto which paths to place admitted traffic. We propose an algorithm that supports the architecture and uses local network state in order to function. The goal of the architecture is to provide an inexpensive and fast method to reduce network congestion while increasing the quality of service (QoS) level when compared to traditional routing and traffic engineering techniques. We use a number of different mobility scenarios and a mix of different types of traffic to evaluate our architecture and algorithm. We use the network simulator ns-2 as the core of our simulation environment. Around this core we built a system of pre-simulation, during simulation, and post-processing software that enabled us to simulate our traffic engineering architecture with only very minimal changes to the core ns-2 software. Our simulation environment supports a number of different mobility scenarios and a mix of different types of traffic to evaluate our architecture and algorithm.
This paper describes the design of a new interlocking masonry system, the production of designed interlocking units and mechanical properties of interlocked masonry assemblages with mortar. In this proposed system, units have horizontal and vertical locks to integrate the units to the wall and have a channel to enable the use of horizontal reinforcements in the wall. Using these units, unfilled, filled or reinforced walls can be constructed with or without mortar. In the production of the interlocking units, it was decided to use foamed concrete. 12 trial productions have been carried out at different mix proportions to obtain the optimum concrete mix. At the end of the mentioned productions, the units were produced with foam concrete which is selected as the most suitable in terms of compressive strength and specific gravity. Then, axial compression, diagonal tension and bed joint shear tests were carried out to determine the mechanical properties of the interlocked masonry assemblages with mortar. Results from the tests showed that interlocks designed to strengthen the system against shear stresses by creating discontinuity throughout the joints have been successful to achieve their aim. Obtained data will enable structural analysis of walls to be constructed with these new units.

This study uses fly ash for non-shrinkage grout in order to develop strength of grout and improve its durability. We grind fly ash to the extent of $7,000cm^2/g$ and use ground fly ash and raw fly ash respectively at the proportion of 10%, 20%, 30% instead of OPC and compare the results drawn on the condition of each proportion. As a mixed material of grout, EVA and water-reducing agent is added in order to prevent bleeding and improve segregation resistance, CSA is added with a view to preventing drying shrinkage and improving early strength property. In regard to flow and flow time test for analyzing and evaluating workability, it is revealed that grouts of all mix proportions except raw fly ash 30% mix proportion satisfy all performance criteria. With regard to length change rate, grout with no admixture shows the highest shrinkage rate, but the rate is 0.0005%, extremely insignificant rate. As material age increases, compressive strength of two grouts, that is to say ground fly ash 10% and 20%-used grouts, exceed that of grout with no admixture or show high-level compressive strength.
The objective of this paper is to evaluate the asphalt mixture performance with pyrolyzed carbon black(CBP) and air -cooled iron blast furnace slag. Marshall mix design was performed to determine the optimum binder content, The optimum binder content ranged from 6.3 percent to 7.75 percent. Dynamic creep testing was carried out using mixtures at the optimum binder content. Based on the test results, the use of pyrolyzed carbon black and slag in the asphalt pavement showed a positive result, such as the increase of Marshall stability, the decrease of the strain rate and the decrease in the mix stiffness rate at high temperature(5$0^{\circ}C$) and 137.9 kPa confinement. Within the limits of this research. it was concluded that pyrolyzed carbon black as an additive and slag as a coarse aggregate could be used to produce an asphalt paving mixture that has good stability, stiffness, and rutting resistance.

Objectives We investigated the genotoxic effects of 40-59 nm silver nanoparticles (Ag-NPs) by bacterial reverse mutation assay (Ames test), in vitro comet assay and micronucleus (MN) assay. In particular, we directly compared the effect of cytochalasin B (cytoB) and rat liver homogenate (S9 mix) in the formation of MN by Ag-NPs. Methods Before testing, we confirmed that Ag-NPs were completely dispersed in the experimental medium by sonication (three times in 1 minute) and filtration ($0.2{\mu}m$ pore size filter), and then we measured their size in a zeta potential analyzer. After that the genotoxicity were measured and especially, S9 mix and with and without cytoB were compared one another in MN assay. Results Ames test using Salmonella typhimurium TA98, TA100, TA1535 and TA1537 strains revealed that Ag-NPs with or without S9 mix did not display a mutagenic effect. The genotoxicity of Ag-NPs was also evaluated in a mammalian cell system using Chinese hamster ovary cells. The results revealed that Ag-NPs stimulated DNA breakage and MN formation with or without S9 mix in a dose-dependent manner (from $0.01{\mu}g/mL$ to $10{\mu}g/mL$). In particular, MN induction was affected by cytoB. Conclusions All of our findings, with the exception of the Ames test results, indicate that Ag-NPs show genotoxic effects in mammalian cell system. In addition, present study suggests the potential error due to use of cytoB in genotoxic test of nanoparticles.
In recent, lots of researches for mechanical-empirical design concept for asphalt pavement are on going. AASHTO 2002 Design Guide in USA and KPRP(Korean Pavement Research Program) in Korea are under developing. In these programs, the mechanical properties of hot mix asphalt are a key role for design and analysis. Unfortunately, there is no proper database on the mechanical properties of hot mix asphalt, such as dynamic modulus. The use of dynamic modulus has couple of good advantages which is based on temperature, traffic loading and frequency on pavement. In this research, the verification of the relationship between maximum nominal aggregate size and dynamic modulus has been carried out. Also, test specimen size effect on dynamic modulus has been conducted. Considering the limitation of laboratory testing machine in Korea, test specimen with 100mm diameter and 150mm height is recommended for dynamic modulus test. Also, as the maximum nominal aggregate size increases, the dynamic modulus of hot mix asphalt increases.

The objective of the current study was to determine calcium (Ca) and phosphorus (P) utilization in 4 different hatchery by-products (HBPs) for broiler chickens. The four different HBPs included infertile eggs (IFE), unhatched eggs (UHE), low grade and dead chicks (LDC), and a mixture (MIX) of 55% IFE, 10% UHE, and 10% LDC with 25% hatched eggshells. A total of sixty four 50-day-old Ross 308 broiler chickens were randomly allotted to 1 of 4 dietary treatments with 8 replicates per treatment. Two birds were placed together in one metabolic cage. Additional 16 birds were used to measure the endogenous losses of Ca and P. A forcefeeding procedure (i.e., crop intubation) was used to measure the apparent and true total tract retention (ATTR and TTTR, respectively) of Ca and P in the 4 HBPs. The results showed that the TTTR of Ca in the UHE was less (p < 0.05) than that in the IFE, LDC, and MIX. The amounts of available Ca in the MIX were greater (p < 0.05) than those in the IFE and UHE, which were greater (p < 0.05) than those in the LDC. The TTTR of P was not different among the 4 HBPs. However, the amounts of available P in the LDC were greater (p < 0.05) than those in the IFE and UHE, which were greater (p < 0.05) than those in the MIX. In conclusion, HBPs contain high amounts of available Ca and P because of high concentrations of total Ca and P with a high utilization rate. Therefore, the use of HBPs in broiler diets can reduce costs on Ca and P supplements.
After Nakanishi and Cooper(1982) suggested a way of transforming the complicated nonlinear MCI model into a simple linear form, the application of MCI model has been increased. However, the use of MCI model in Korea is quite limited. The goal of this paper is to demonstrate the practical application of MCI(Multiplicative Competitive Interaction) model to a consumer goods industry. MCI model is a form of the attraction model explaining the relation between marketing mix variables and market share. In this study, multiple sources of empirical data are incorporated in the model formulation stage. In the estimation process, the equity estimation is applied to solve the possible multi-collinearity problem among marketing mix variables. Results from the fitted model suggest meaningful managerial implications for the management of brand equity and the allocation of resources among marketing mix variables.

The purpose of this study is to actualize the planning method of the Mixed-use Housing. Enter in 2000 years, contruction of Mixed-use Housing is rapidly increasing with acrovill and tower palace as its starting point. Mixed-use Housing is topology that mix function of residential and business and commercial facilities by kind of mixed-use development. And, Mixed-use Housing which is located in busy urban commercial strict should meet the demand not only as functional city. And it is a type of urban housing that located in busy urban commercial district demands function of residential. As for locational situation and types of public space researched and analyzed in this thesis, those space were left alone with short analyzation on main consumers level as well as short recognition of public space for all of the six combined facilities of dewelling and commercing
The purpose of the present study was to seek bracket-adhesive combinations which have adequate bond strength with no enamel and bracket fracture. The shear bond strengths were measured, the sites of failure and the enamel damage were investigated and the peripheral sealing and adaptation between enamel surface, bonding adhesive and bracket were evaluated. 240 noncarious human premolars were divided into twenty four groups of ten teeth. Shear bond strengths of each group were determined in an universal testing machine after two days passed and the debonded specimens were inspected to determine the predominant bond failure sites. To evaluate peripheral sealing and adaption between enamel surface, adhesive and bracket, each specimen was cut longitudinally into two halves which included the midsection of the bracket, adhesive and enamel and exmined in scanning electron microscope. Six different types of brackets were bonded to the tooth with four different type of adhesives. Six different types of brackets were Image, Plastic, Crystaline, Fascination, Transcend 2000 and metal bracket and four different adhesives were No-mix, Light-Bond, OrthoLC and Superbond C&B. From this study, it may be concluded that (1) The mean shear bond strength varied from a high of 36.58 Kg (410.07 Kg/$cm^2$) with the Fascination-Light Bond combination group to a low of 8.93 Kg (75.51 Kg/$cm^2$) with theImage-OrthoLC combination group. When using OrthoLC as adhesive, the mean shear bond strength was significantly lower than that of other combination groups, (2) Regardless of adhesives, the mean shear bond strength of Fascination brackets was relatively high whereas Plastic and Image brackets had low shear bonding strength. The shear bond strength of Crystaline bracket and Transcend 2m was relatively equal to or lower than that of metal bracket, (3) There was a correlation between bond strength, enamel damage and bracket fracture. As the shear bond strength was increased, the rate of enamel damage and bracket fracture were increased, (4) The combination groups that use OrthoLC as adhesive were debonded in shear stress without enamel fracture and bracket fracture, whereas the combination groups that use Superbond C&B as adhesive experienced a relative high enamel fracture rate and bracket fracture rate, (5) Peripheral sealing and adaptation between enamel-adhesive-bracket were relatively good when using Light-Bond or No-mix as adhesive. Regardless of adhesives, adaptation between bracket-adhesive were relatively good in Ceramic brackets, (6) The combination groups which had adequate bonding strength with no enamel and bracket fracture were Crystaline-No mix, Crystaline-Light Bond, Crystaline-OrthoLC, metal-No mix, metal-Light Bond and metal-OrthoLC combination groups.
