  • Three synchronic variables (Deviation Time, Fairness Time, Synchronic Time) are defined for Timed Place Petri Nets (TPPN). These parameters show the dependency between the firing of transition subsets in the time domain by different values. The approaches in this paper can be used to find synchronic relations in Stochastic Petri Nets. This paper presents how to decide the minimum resources required to a Flexible Manufacturing Cell using Synchronic Time concept.

화랑 문제의 최소 이동 경비원 수 알고리즘 (The Minimum number of Mobile Guards Algorithm for Art Gallery Problem)

  • n개의 정점으로 구성된 화랑 P에 대한 최대 이동 경비원 수는 단순 다각형은 ${\lfloor}n/4{\rfloor}$, 직각 다각형은 ${\lfloor}(3n+4)/16{\rfloor}$이며, 최소 경비원수를 구하는 다항시간 알고리즘은 알려져 있지 않아 NP-난제 (NP-Hard)이다 . 본 논문은 화랑 문제의 최소 이동 경비원 수를 구하는 다항시간 알고리즘을 제안하였다. 첫 번째로, 모든 정점에서 볼 수 있는 다른 정점으로 간선을 그린 가시성 그래프를 얻는다. 두 번째로 ${\Delta}(G)$인 정점 u와 $N_G(u)$에 있는 ${\Delta}(G)$ 정점 v를 선택하고 가시성 간선과 부속 간선을 삭제한다. 세 번째로, 남아 있는 부분 그래프 각각에 대해 정점 $w_i$를 선택하여 이동 경비원이 위치할 간선을 선택하였다. 제안된 알고리즘을 다양한 단순 다각형과 직각 다각형 화랑 문제에 적용한 결과 선형시간으로 최소 이동 경비원 수를 얻었다.

대기 습도변화에 따른 콘크리트 보수체의 비정상적인 습도응력 조사 (Non-Stationary Stress Analysis of Repaired Concrete Structures due to Hygral Transient Condition)

  • 본 연구에서는 대기 습도변화에 의한 콘크리트 보수체(기층 콘크리트/보수 모르터)의 파괴현상을 조사하기 위해서 보수체내의 비정상적인 습도분포 및 습도응력을 계산하였다. 이러한 계산은 시멘트 모르터로 보수된 접촉면이 없는 보수체에서 보수층 두께(Do=05-2.5cm)와 보수 작업전 기층 콘크리트 표면의 습윤처리 시간(tc=1-5days) 및 대기습도(Ho=50~80%)를 주요변수로 하여 수행되었다. 계산 및 조사 결과에 의하면 접합면의 응력이 압축상태를 유지하기 위해서는 각 대기 습도마다 일정값 이상의 보수층 두께와 습윤처리 시간이 필요함을 알 수 있다.

  • 애니메이션과 영화와 연극의 시간과 공간에 대해 많은 연구는 이루어져 왔다. 그러나 본 연구는 애니메이션의 시간성과 공간성에 대한 구조주의적 언어학을 기반으로 시도되는 새로운 방법적 고찰이다. 애니메이션 시간성과 공간성에 대해 최소 단위적 연구는 선례가 없다. 연구의 방법론은 구조주의 언어학의 개념을 기반으로 시간성의 개념과 공간성의 개념을 파악하기 위하여, 시간과 공간에 대해 계열적, 통합적 분석을 한다. 이를 위하여 시간의 최소단위와 공간의 최소단위를 정의하고 이에 따라 계열적 분석과 통합적 분석을 시행한다. 본 연구를 통해 애니메이션학의 연구 방법의 다양성을 재고하고 연구의 체계적 심화를 가져올 수 있다. 연구결과는 구조주의적 연구방법론을 통해 애니메이션의 시간성과 공간성에 대한 새로운 연구의 방법을 제시하였다. 향후 과제는 본 연구를 바탕으로 애니메이션의 캐릭터에 대한 연구가 수행된다.

무인운전차량의 자율주행을 위한 경로점 기반 경로계획 (Path Planning for Autonomous Navigation of a Driverless Ground Vehicle Based on Waypoints)

  • This paper addresses an algorithm of path planning for autonomous driving of a ground vehicle in waypoint navigation. The proposed algorithm is flexible in utilization under a large GPS positioning error and generates collision-free multiple paths while pursuing minimum traveling time. An optimal path reduces inefficient steering by minimizing lateral changes in generated waypoints along a path. Simulation results compare the proposed algorithm with the A* algorithm by manipulation of the steering wheel and traveling time, and show that the proposed algorithm realizes real-time obstacle avoidance by quick processing of path generation, and minimum time traveling by producing paths with small lateral changes while overcoming the very irregular positioning error from the GPS.

항목 발생 간격을 고려한 Temporal 연관규칙 (Temporal Association Rules Based on Item Time Interval)

  • In this paper, we present a temporal association rule based on item time intervals. A temporal association rule is an association rule that holds specific time intervals. If we consider itemset in the frequently purchased period, we can discover more significant itemset satisfying minimum support. Because the previous study did not consider the time interval between purchased item, it could find itemset that did not satisfy the minimum support in case some item was frequently purchased in a specific period and rarely or not purchased in other period. Our approach uses interval support which is counted by period with support and confidence in the association rule to discovery large itemset.

Measurement of Short Reverberation Times at Low Frequencies Using Wavelet Filter Bank

  • In room acoustics, reverberation time is an important acoustic parameter. However it is often difficult to measure short reverberation times at low frequencies with a traditional band pass filter bank if the product of filter bandwidth (B) and reverberation time (T) is small. It it well known that the minimum permissible product of bandwidth and reverberation time of the traditional band pass filter is at least 16. This strict requirement makes it difficult to measure short reverberation times of an acoustic room at low frequencies exactly. In order to reduce this strict requirement, in the previous paper, the wavelet filter bank was developed and the minimum permissible product of bandwidth and reverberation time was replaced with 4. In the present paper it is demonstrated how the short reverberation times of an practical room at low frequencies are successfully measured by using the wavelet filter bank and the results are compared with the traditional method using a band past filer bank.

최단시간 슬라이딩 면에 의한 스텝모터의 위치제어 (A position control of step motor with minimum time sliding surface)

  • For the robust control, sliding mode control has gained a great attention. Sliding mode control has the good robustness, because it makes the state of system reach the origin of the state space, by a varying the structure of system on the sliding surface. The slope of sliding surface affects to the control performance. If it is small, robustness is increased at the expense of reaching time. On the contrary, if it is large, reaching time is decreased at the expense of robustness and overshoot. In this paper, to design the optimal sliding surface, optimal control theory is introduced. To confirm the validity of the proposed method, the position control of step motor is implemented.

Ultra Low Power Data Aggregation for Request Oriented Sensor Networks

  • Request oriented sensor networks have stricter requirements than conventional event-driven or periodic report models. Therefore, in this paper we propose a minimum energy data aggregation (MEDA), which meets the requirements for request oriented sensor networks by exploiting a low power real-time scheduler, on-demand time synchronization, variable response frame structure, and adaptive retransmission. In addition we introduce a test bed consisting of a number of MEDA prototypes, which support near real-time bidirectional sensor networks. The experimental results also demonstrate that the MEDA guarantees deterministic aggregation time, enables minimum energy operation, and provides a reliable data aggregation service.

  • In building acoustics, reverberation time is an important acoustic parameter. However, it is often difficult to measure short reverberation times at low frequencies using the traditional band pass filter bank if the product of bandwidth (B) and reverberation time (T) is small. It is well known that the minimum permissible product of bandwidth and reverberation time of the traditional band pass filter is at least 16 [F. Jacobsen, J. Sound Vib. 115, 163-170 (1987)]. This strict requirement makes it difficult to measure short reverberation times of an acoustic room at low frequencies exactly. In order to reduce this strict requirement, recently, the wavelet filter bank is developed and the minimum permissible product of bandwidth and reverberation time is replaced with 4 [S. K. Lee, J, Sound Vib. 252, 141-153 (2002)]. In the present paper, it is demonstrated how the short reverberation times at low frequencies are successfully measured by using the wavelet filter bank. In order to present this job, two synthetic signals and one measured signal are used for impulse responses of an acoustic room.
