Design and Implementation of SOA based S/W Services for Dynamic Behavior of Embedded System (임베디드 시스템의 유기적인 동작을 위한 SOA기반의 S/W서비스 설계와 구현)

  • As the nature of the embedded system, it is operated by user specified requirements, the dynamic action(behavior) is needed when the user's requirements change or unexpected situations occur. In this paper, it is proposed that design and implementation of SOA(Service-oriented architecture) based S/W services for dynamic behavior of embedded System. In this proposed technique, the status of embedded system can be checked through Web services, and in the cases of exceptional situations, the required proper actions can be newly updated through Web services. Through this technique, the burden of users concerning exceptional situations can be reduced, and the convenience of use can increased as well.

Health Perception, Body Image, Sexual Function and Depression in Menopausal Women according to Menopausal Stages (폐경기 중년여성의 폐경단계에 따른 건강지각, 신체상, 성기능 및 우울)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the influences of health perception, body image and sexual function on depression according to the menopausal stage in Korean middle aged women. Methods: Subjects were 182 perimenopausal and postmenopausal women who had not received hormonal replacement therapy. A five-item General HealthShort Form (SF-36) Health Survey Questionnaire (Ware & Sherbourne, 1992) was used to measure health perception. Body image was measured Semantic Differential scale, CES-D was used to measure the level of depression, and sexual function was measured by FSFI. Results: The subjects rated their health as 'moderate', their body image as 'moderate, and level of depression as 'high'. However, there were no significant differences in health perception, body image, and depression between perimenopasual and postmenopausal women. Postmenopausal women experienced lower levels of sexual function than perimenopausal women in sexual arousal, lubrication, orgasm, satisfaction, and pain. In stepwise regression analysis, 21.7% of variance in depression was shown to be perceived health and body image in postmenopausal women. However, in perimenopausal women, perceived health and sexual function explained 34.5% of variance in depression. Conclusion: These findings indicate that nurses must consider the menopasusal stage when counseling their patients.

  • 데이터 그리드는 분산 데이터베이스 환경에서 상호간 데이터의 공유 및 교환을 통하여 분산 데이터를 효율적으로 사용하기 위한 기술이다. 최근에는 레거시 시스템간의 협업을 하기 위해 상호 연결의 필요성이 강조되고 있으며 많은 연구가 진행되고 있다. 독립주인 레거시 시스템을 상호 연결하기 위해서는 노드간의 회선 점유율이 증가하고, 데이터의 이질적인 문제가 발생한다. 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위해 본 논문에서는 XMDR 기반의 데이터 그리드 시스템을 제안한다. 본 논문의 데이터 그리드 미들웨어는 ISO/IEC11179에서 제안한 정보 공유 및 교환을 위한 표준인 MDR과 정보의 효율적인 이용을 위한 온톨로지를 포함하여 확장한 개념인 XMDR(eXtended Metadata Registry)에 기반을 두었으며 분산 플랫폼으로부터 독립적이고 자유로운 이동성을 가지고 있는 이동 에이전트 기술을 사용하였다.

  • Telematics is a wireless data communication system that provides various information services for driver's the safety or entertainment, and it makes drivers possible to use those services in the moving space, as if he/she is at home or at office. As telecommunication technology develops and Telematics market grows larger, standard platform for the intelligent telematics is required. This paper describes the structure and module control design of the intelligent telematics that recognizes driver's needs and pushes customized services to the driver at real-time.

  • In this paper, we introduce about the implementation of geospatial database middleware for construction of next generation digital map. This middleware supports global transactions based on the distributed and heterogeneous data store circumstance, geospatial data processing which does not follow standard, global schema management, object management based UFID and large scale data process. In addition, this supports creating, managing, calling for user defined procedures that can help making business logic of middleware user. User defined procedure interface is designed using CORBA and RMI protocol. In this paper, we describe the implementation of distributed object oriented database middleware which use variable data store.

Teleoperation Control of ROS-based Industrial Robot Using EMG Signals (근전도센서를 이용한 ROS기반의 산업용 로봇 원격제어)

  • This paper introduces a method to control an industrial robot arm to imitate the movement of the human arm and hand using electromyography (EMG) signals. The proposed method is implemented on the UR3 robot that is a popular industrial robot and a MYO armband that measure the EMG signals generated by human muscles. The communications for the UR3 robot and the MYO armband are integrated in the robot operating system (ROS) that is a middle-ware to develop robot systems easily. The movement of the human arm and hand is detected by the MYO armband, which is utilized to recognize and to estimate the speed of the movement of the operator's arm and the motion of the operator's hand. The proposed system can be easily used when human's detailed movement is required in the environment where human can't work. An experiments have been conducted to verify the performance of the proposed method using the teleoperation of the UR3 robot.

  • Computer-aided engineering (CAE) analysis is considered essential for product development because it decreases the simulation time, reduces the prototyping costs, and enhances the reusability of product parts. The reuse of quality-assured CAE data has been continually increasing due to the extension of product lifecycle management; PLM, which is widely used, shortens the product development cycle and improves the product quality. However, less attention has been paid to systematic research on the interoperability of CAE data because of the diversity of CAE data and because the structure of CAE data is more complex than that of CAD data. In this paper, we suggest a CAE data exchange method for the effective sharing of geometric and analysis data. The method relies on heterogeneous CAE systems, a virtual reality system, and our developed CAE middleware for CAE data exchange. We also designed a generic CAE kernel, which is a critical part of the CAE middleware. The kernel offers a way of storing analysis data from various CAE systems, and, with the aid of a script command, enabling the data to be translated for a different system. The reuse of CAE data is enhanced by the fact that the CAE middle-ware can be linked with a virtual reality system or a product data management system.

  • In this paper, we suggest a method utilizing OSHW(Open Source HardWare) in order to raise up students who are competent in IT convergence and integration as a basic research to improve the university software education. Software education cannot be too much emphasized in the age of big change of Fourth Industrial Revolution. It hardly seems to have changes in the software education area of university where has to train competent technicians to be deployed into the industrial field, although software education is planned even in elementary, middle, and high school. In this situation, we expect that utilizing OSHW in software education can result in gaining a meaningful effect. However, we don't have various and systemic approach which use it as a education system component, unlike the response and necessity OSHW market. Therefore in this paper we suggest models which constitute software education environment based on OSHW and exemplify how to use it in each model. In addition, we compare and analyze each model in order to give a criteria to choice one of them according to the condition.

  • The conventional monitoring system for water pollution measurement is quite simple and independent and it has a lot of draw backs such as cost, installation, etc. So, in this paper, we have measured the water pollution system through a bacterial species, photobacterium phosphoreum. A novel integrated monitoring system technology has been developed which could easily dictate and analyze the major water pollutants and its surrounding environment in an accurate way. The system constitutes of bionic technology, information technology and environmental engineering technology. As a result, integrated monitoring system can observe the water pollution and various water environment of the whole country. Also, through the sensors of USN, Zigbee, RFID and middle ware, which can provide service and construct service platform, a properly standardized plan with remarkable service platform has been established through this investigation.

  • In this paper, the development of Power Line Communication(PLC) device for white goods is presented. The commercial PLC chip-set is used for the modem device of white goods. As a PLC device for white goods, an ARM720 u-controller and a windows CE 3.0 are adopted. UPnP (Universal Plug and Play) that is applied for home network middle ware in implemented system. In addition, application programming and emulator for home appliance are implemented using UPnP standard ver 1.0.
