초·중등 교원연수 프로그램의 효과 분석: 국제지질자원인재개발센터를 중심으로 (The Effects of a Teacher Training Program for Elementary and Middle School Teachers: Focusing on International School for Geoscience Resources)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 한국지질자원연구원 국제지질자원인재개발센터에서 실시한 교원연수 프로그램에 대한 학습생태 만족도 결과를 분석하여 교원연수 프로그램이 초등교원과 중등교원에게 어떠한 만족도와 교육 효과를 보이는지와 그 차이점을 알아보고 향후 교원연수과정 운영에 개선점을 제안하는데 있다. 따라서 2017년 7월부터 2018년 8월까지 한국지질자원연구원 내 국제지질자원인재개발센터에서 실시한 총 4회의 교원연수 프로그램에 참여한 초등 및 중등교원 98명을 대상으로 학습생태 만족도 검사를 실시하였다. 이 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 학습생태 만족도 결과는 초등 중등교원연수 모두 4.58 이상의 다소 높은 결과 값을 나타내어 국제지질자원인재개발센터에서 실시한 교원연수가 연수 참여자들에게 긍정적인 영향을 주었다. 둘째, 학습동기와 학습발달을 나타내는 내부 요인에서는 초등교원연수 4.70, 중등교원연수 4.64였으며, 지질과학 및 지구과학 전공과 이외의 전공으로 구분하여 연수 콘텐츠 및 프로그램의 개발이 필요한 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 교육내용과 교육과정을 평가하는 중간요인은 초등교원연수가 4.67, 중등교원연수가 4.72를 나타내었다. 또한 교원연수가 과학기술문화라는 취지에 맞게 운영되기 위해 교수 학습 모형의 개발과 수업의 질적 개선을 위한 연구가 필요한 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 학습자 지원과 강사의 질을 나타내는 외부요인에서는 초등교원연수가 4.83, 중등교원연수가 4.72로 초등교원연수가 중등교원연수보다 다소 높은 결과를 나타내었다. 특히 연수중 수업의 흥미유발과 학교현장에서 실제적으로 사용될 수 있는 연수교재의 개발이 필요한 것으로 나타났다.

컴퓨팅 사고 실천 분석도구 개발 및 이의 활용에 대한 기초연구 (The preliminary study of developing computational thinking practice analysis tool and its implementation)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 컴퓨팅 사고(Computational Thinking, 이하 CT)의 실천을 분석하는데 사용할 컴퓨팅 사고 실천 분석 도구(Computational Thinking_STEAM_Analyzing Tool, 이하 CT_STEAM_AT)를 개발하는 것이다. 먼저, STEAM 프로그램에 반영되어 나타나는 CT의 실천이 무엇인지에 대해 조작적 정의를 내리고, 이를 바탕으로 CT가 STEAM 수업에서는 어떠한 특징으로 나타나는지를 파악하여 CT실천을 관찰할 수 있는 CT_STEAM_AT를 개발하는 것이다. 또한, 이를 바탕으로 모범적인 STEAM 수업을 분석하였을 때 얼마나 다양한 CT실천이 포함되어 있는지를 탐색하는 것이 연구의 목적이라 할 수 있겠다. 먼저, CT_STEAM_AT 개발연구에서는 '과학교육에서의 CT란 무엇인가?'라는 질문을 시작으로 CT의 실천 구성요소에 대해 정의하기 위해 3가지의 중요한 자료를 주요 연구자료로 이용하고 분석하여 CT_STEAM_AT를 개발하였다. 첫 번째 개발연구에서는 CT_STEAM_AT의 CT의 실천 구성요소를 크게 5가지로 구분하였다. (1) 현실문제와 컴퓨팅 연결하기, (2) 컴퓨팅 산출물(artifact)을 개발하기 위한 도구나 컴퓨터 사용하기, (3) 추상화 과정, (4) 컴퓨팅 실천과정 및 산출물을 분석하고 평가하기, 그리고 (5) 의사소통하고 협력하기이다. 또한, 연구를 진행하던 중 CT의 구성요소들 사이의 상호작용으로 인하여 일정한 흐름이 존재한다고 해석하여 CT실천 흐름도를 개발하였다. 두 번째 CT 적용연구에서는 CT_STEAM_AT를 모범적인 STEAM 프로그램에 적용하였다. 먼저, 모범적인 STEAM 프로그램을 선정하기 위해서 4가지의 선정조건을 고려하여 선정하였다. 이런 과정을 통해 선정된 STEAM 프로그램에 CT_STEAM_AT를 적용시켜 CT가 반영된 정도를 파악하고, 더 나아가 부족하거나 제한적으로 나타난 CT의 실천 부분을 보완할 수 있는 방안을 제안해보았다. 본 연구의 결과, 개발된 CT_STEAM_AT를 통해 STEAM 프로그램에 반영된 CT 종류 및 수준을 파악하는데 효율적임을 알 수 있었고, 기술과 공학 부분을 보충하고, 실제적으로 나타나는 CT의 실천을 정의함으로 인해 STEAM 교육의 활성화를 기대할 수 있을 것이다.

소음측정방법에 따른 평가소음도 비교 (A Comparison of Noise Level by Noise Measuring Methods)

  • The purpose of this study is to evaluate the difference of noise level according to noise measuring methods in the noisy working environments. Sound pressure level(SPL), equivalence sound level(Leq) and personal noise exposure dose(Dose) in the fifty-nine unit workplaces of the twenty-eight industries were measured and relating factors which were affected noise level were investigated. The results were as follows ; 1. The noise levels were $88.70{\pm}5.68dB(A)$ by SPL, $89.07{\pm}5.41dB(A)$ by Leq and $89.07{\pm}5.69$ by Dose. The differences of noise levels by three measuring methods were statistically significant(P<0.001) by repeated measure ANOV A. 2. Comparing with noise levels by general classes of noise exposure, noise levels of continuous noise were $89.14{\pm}5.19dB(A)$ by SPL, $89.45{\pm}4.65dB(A)$ by Leq and $90.04{\pm}5.09$ by Dose. Noise levels of intermittent noise were $87.90{\pm}6.52dB(A)$ by SPL, $88.40{\pm}6.63dB(A)$ by Leq and $90.10{\pm}6.80$ by Dose. The differences noise level of noise measuring methods by general classese of noise exposure were statistically not significant by repeated measure ANOV A. 3. Interaction between general classese of noise exposure and noise measuring methods for noise level was not statistically significant by repeated measure ANOVA. And the noise level by noise measuring methods were statistically significant by repeated measure ANOV A(P<.001) 4. Comparing with noise levels by unit workplace size, noise levels of large unit workplace were $90.73{\pm}5.87dB(A)$ by SPL, $91.32{\pm}5.50dB(A)$ by Leq and $91.82{\pm}6.06$ by Dose and noise levels of middle unit workplace were $88.31{\pm}5.26dB(A)$ by SPL, $88.41{\pm}4.83dB(A)$ by Leq and $89.69{\pm}5.05$ by Dose. And noise levels of small unit workplace were $94.89{\pm}4.10dB(A)$ by SPL, $85.35{\pm}4.11dB(A)$ by Leq and $86.87{\pm}4.98$ by Dose. The noise level differences of noise measuring methods by unit workplace size were statistically significant by repeated measure ANOV A(P<.05). 5. The noise level by noise measuring methods were statistically significant by repeated measure ANOV A(P<.001). But Interaction between workplace size and noise level measuring methods for noise level was not statistically significant by repeated measure ANOVA. According to the above results, there was a difference of the noise level among the three measuring methods. Therefore we must use the personal noise exposure dose using by noise dose meter, possible, to prvent occupational hearing loss in noisy working environment.

Ecological Impact Analysis of a Stream on the Dam Construction Using Species Biotic Index (SBI) as a Tool of Ecosystem Health Assessment

  • Species biotic index (SBI), based on a fish assemblage, was applied to a stream assessment using long-term ecological fish data set (1996 to 2001) in Boryong dam area, which is located in the mainstream of Ungchun Stream of Chungnam province, Korea. According to the methods of Hilsenhoff (1988), the scores of tolerance guild assigned 10 classes to each species by its habitat and feeding guild, but modified current 7 criteria to 5 scoring standards due to unclear borderline among species. Relative abundance in the species number of upper stream guilds was only 7% of the total, whereas the abundance in the species number of middle to downstream upper stream guilds was 64%. Mean SBI, based on dataset in Site 1 during 1995-2001 averaged 5.10, which was judged as a "good" condition by the rank criteria of SBI. Before the dam construction, mean SBI in the Site 1 was 4.61, indicating a "good" condition, but after the dam construction, mean SBI was 5.60, indicating a "fair" condition. Trajectory analysis in the Site 1 showed significantly (One-way ANOVA, $F_{6,21}=3.26$, p=0.02) different among years, reflecting the changes of fish composition and population density by the dam construction, whereas Site 2 showed no significant changes ($F_{6,21}=1.00$, P =0.45) difference among years. Mean SBI prior to the dam construction in the Site 3 was 4.52 but after the construction, the value was 6.30, indicating a distinct difference between the pre- and post-dam construction. Trajectory analysis at the Site 3 supported this fact: Values of SBI showed significantly ($F_{6,21}$=14.37, p<0.01) different. Mean SBI was 4.67 in the Site 4, indicating a "good" condition in the health and the health rank was same as the sampling sites 1, 2, and 4. Trajectory in the Site 4 showed no significant ($F_{6,21}=2.35$, p=0.07) difference among the years. Overall, our trajectory analysis indicated that three of four sampling sites (sites 1, 3, 4) showed significant decreases (n=7, p<0.05) and that the proportions of sensitive species declined evidently in the sites 1 and 2 and the tolerant species increased in the dam sites. Our outcomes may be used as a key data for diagnosis of the long-term ecological impact in the future in the watershed.

작은땃쥐 Crocidura suaveolens의 치아 마모에 의한 연령결정과 번식의 계절적 변이의 조직학적 분석 (Age Determination by Tooth Wear and Histological Analysis of Seasonal Variation of Breeding in the Lesser White-Toothed Shrew, Crocidura suaveolens)

  • 작은땃쥐 Crocidura suaveolens는 치아 마모도를 이용하여 3개의 연령군으로 분류하였고 생식기관의 계절적 변이를 조사하였다. 유수들의 구치는 치아 마모를 보이지 않았고 세 번째 구치의 높이가 첫 번째와 두 번째 구치보다 낮았으며, 아성수는 약간의 치아 마모를 보였고 세 번째 구치의 높이가 첫 번째와 두 번째 구치의 높이에 이르렀고, 성수들은 깊은 치아 마모를 보였으며 세 번째 구치 높이 역시 첫 번째와 두 번째의 구치에 도달하였다. 조직학적 조사를 근거로, 번식의 계절적 변이가 명확해졌으며, 수컷 성수의 번식 상태는 2월 초에서 10월 초까지 유지되었고 4월과 7월에 가장 높은 번식 활동을 보였고 비번식기는 10월 중순에서 1월 말까지였다. 번식기에 포획된 아성수와 성수 수컷은 다양한 생식세포들로 채워진 확장된 세정관을 가진 큰 정소와 많은 정자들을 가진 팽창된 부정소 미부를 가졌고 비번식기에 포획된 아성수와 성수 수컷들은 정원세포만으로 채워진 가늘어진 세정관을 가진 작은 정소와 정자를 가지지 않는 감소된 부정소를 가졌다. 몸무게가 3.9g 이상이고 정소와 부정소 무게가 0.013 g 이상인 수컷은 번식기에 성적 성숙에 도달하였고, 몸무게가 3.8 g 이상이고 번식기에 포획된 암컷들은 5~6마리의 새끼를 가진 임신상태이거나 난소에 성숙난포들과 황체를 가지고 있었다.

  • A study on Bang-Yak-Hap-Py$\breve{u}$n, one of the most widely-known Korean medicine books, has been conducted and the findings are as follows:the political and social background at the end of Yi-dynasty amidst the inflow of western civilization and the aggression of foreign forces can be seen as a historical period of trial, when civilization and independence had to be preserved at the same time, during the period, the social trend was to pursue a rapid practical solution rather than a profound theory. Responding to this trend, simple and easy medical science became to prevailand the representative medicine book of this kind was Bang-Yak-Hap-Py$\breve{u}$n. 1. Bang-Yak-Hap-Py$\breve{u}$n was written comprising the characteristics of simple and easy medical science with a view to popularizing-collection of logics, easy readability, medical science in time, etc. 2. Bang Yak-Hap-Py$\breve{u}$n, rich and grand in content, came out of Dong-$\breve{U}$i-Bo-Gam at the right moment as a pragmatic guide book of Korea medical practice symbolizing Korean spirit. 3. Do-yun Whang whose pen name was Hye-Am was born in Changwon, Kyungnam-do as the 18th descendant of Changwon Whang family. He engaged in medical practice in Seoul and wrote and edited Boo-Bang-Py$\breve{u}$n-Ram. $\breve{U}$i-Jong-Son-Ik, $\breve{U}$i-J$\breve{u}$ng-Son-Ik-Bu-Yeo, $\breve{U}$i-Bang-Whan-Tu, ect. and made his son, Pil-Su follow him and let him edit Bang-Yak-Hap-Py$\breve{u}$n, which put $\breve{U}$i-Bang-Whal-Tu and Son-Ik-Bon-Cho together. 4. The construct of Bang-Yak-Hap-Py$\breve{u}$n can be subdivied into three parts: herbs of 34 classes and 514 kinds were arranged on the upper part and $\breve{U}$i-Bang-Whal-Tu was arranged on the middle end lower part. Such arrangement can be very effective in clinics. 5. Bang-Yak-Hap-Py$\breve{u}$n as a curative book of Korean medical science has been a necessary another ego for many Korean medical practioners. It also played a great role of enhancing Korean oriental medical science to be widely used by Koreans. On the other hand, it produced a side effect of emergence of employed medical practioner who lacked in scholastic aptitude. 6. Tens or newly edited Bang-Yak-Hap-Py$\breve{u}$n have been issued. Among them, Jung-Jeong, Bang-Yak-Hap-py$\breve{u}$n, J$\breve{u}$ng-Mak-Bang-Yak-Hap-Py$\breve{u}$n. By$\breve{u}$n-J$\breve{u}$ng-Bang-Yak-Hap-Py$\breve{u}$n, and By$\breve{u}$n-J$\breve{u}$ng-Bang-Yak-Jung-Jeon have been widely known. Lately, Bang-Yak-Hap-Py$\breve{u}$n which includes more symptoms and remedies or is translated into Korean came out in several kinds. 7. The number of korea classical medicinal books quoted in Bang-Yak-Hap-Py$\breve{u}$n is 68, among which Dong-$\breve{U}$i-Bo-Gam Occupies the top in the list enlisting 69 medicinal treatment. This Shows that Dong-$\breve{U}$i-Bo-Gam gave birth to Bang-Yak-Hap-Py$\breve{u}$n.

영양교사의 교직 수행실태 및 제도개선에 대한 요구도 (Actual Status of Task Performance and Need for System Improvement for Nutrition Teachers)

  • 본 연구는 전국 초 중 고등학교에 근무하는 영양교사 311명을 대상으로 2014년 7월 14일부터 9월 26일까지 영양교사 교직 수행실태 및 직무 수행에서 전반적인 어려움과 근로조건 개선에 있어 보완되어야 할 사항에 대한 의견을 조사하여 영양교사직의 발전을 위한 기초자료를 제공하고자 하였으며, 본 연구의 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 영양교사의 업무량 및 업무난이도에 대해 96.1%의 영양교사가 업무량이 과중하다고 느끼고 있었고 이는 학교 유형별로 유의한 차이를 보여 초등학교와 중학교보다 고등학교에 근무하는 영양교사들의 업무에 대한 부담이 특히 더 큰 것을 알 수 있었다. 응답자의 20.0%가 월 40시간 이상의 초과근무를 하고 있었는데 고등학교 영양교사의 경우 63.5%가 40시간 이상 초과근무를 하고 있어 초등학교 7.1%, 중학교 3.7%와 크게 대비되는 결과를 보였다. 둘째, 영양교사의 식생활 운영 실태와 식생활교육 인식의 경우 초등학교, 중학교 고등학교의 순으로 식생활교육 시행 경험이 높게 나타났고(P<0.001), 식생활교육을 하기 어려운 이유로서 표준화된 교육자료 및 지침서 부재에 대한 응답이 가장 높게 나타났다. 식생활교육이 어려운 이유에 대해 고등학교에서는 업무과다로 인해 시간이 부족하다는 응답이 초등학교, 중학교에 비해 높게 응답하였고(P<0.001), 학교 내에서 식생활교육에 대한 인식 부족 및 시수확보 문제와 관련하여 중학교에서 가장 어려움을 느끼는 것으로 조사되었다. 셋째, 영양교사의 연수와 관련하여 고등학교 영양교사가 초등학교와 중학교 영양교사보다 유의적으로 직무연수 경험이 적은 것으로 조사되었고(P<0.001), 직무 연수 개설 시기에 대해 방학 중에 실시하는 것이 좋다는 응답이 가장 높게 나타났으나 학기 중에 직무연수를 희망하는 비율이 중학교, 고등학교가 초등학교에 비해 높게 나타났다. 적정한 연수시간과 연수 주관기관에 대한 의견은 학교 유형에 따라 유의적인 차이를 보이지 않았다. 넷째, 영양교사의 학교 내에서의 처우를 조사하기 위하여 승진제도, 가산금 및 성과 상여금 수령 현황 및 인식을 조사하였다. 영양교사의 승진 및 전직 장애요인을 조사한 결과 6개 문항 중 4개의 문항이 평균 4.5점 이상으로 조사되었고, '타 교과교사에 비해 승진할 기회가 전혀 없다' 문항이 4.67점으로 가장 높은 점수를 보였다. 학교 유형별로 유의적인 차이를 보인 문항은 타 교과교사에 비해 낮은 승진기회(P<0.01), 정규교과가 없음(P<0.05), 학교구성원들의 영양교사 승진 및 전직에 대한 인식 부족(P<0.05)으로 조사되었다. 영양교사 교직수당 가산금에 대해 교직수당 가산금이 '적정하지 않다'는 의견이 227명(73.0%)으로 가장 많았고, 추가로 수당이 신설되어야 할 분야에서 초등학교의 경우 '위험수당'을 가장 높게 요구하였고 중고등학교의 경우 '2~3식에 대한 수당'을 가장 높게 요구하였다(P<0.001). 2012년~2014년까지 최근 3년간 영양교사 개인성과 상여금 등급 현황을 조사한 결과 최하위 등급인 'B등급'을 받은 영양교사가 2011년 75.2%, 2012년 68.1%, 2013년 65.5%로 조사되었다. 2014년 고등학교에서의 S등급의 비율이 14.0%, A등급 21.1%로 전에 비해 높아졌으나 2014년 교육부 교육공무원 성과 상여금 지급지침의 등급별 인원 배정비율 S등급 30%, A등급 40%, B등급 30%에 크게 미치지 못하였다.

고려.조선시대의 수학과 사회 (Mathematics and Society in Koryo and Chosun)

  • Though the tradition of Korean mathematics since the ancient time up to the 'Enlightenment Period' in the late 19th century had been under the influence of the Chinese mathematics, it strove to develop its own independent of Chinese. However, the fact that it couldn't succeed to form the independent Korean mathematics in spite of many chances under the reign of Kings Sejong, Youngjo, and Joungjo was mainly due to the use of Chinese characters by Koreans. Han-gul (Korean characters) invented by King Sejong had not been used widely as it was called and despised Un-mun and Koreans still used Chinese characters as the only 'true letters' (Jin-suh). The correlation between characters and culture was such that, if Koreans used Han-gul as their official letters, we may have different picture of Korean mathematics. It is quite interesting to note that the mathematics in the 'Enlightenment Period' changed rather smoothly into the Western mathematics at the time when Han-gul was used officially with Chinese characters. In Koryo, the mathematics existed only as a part of the Confucian refinement, not as the object of sincere study. The mathematics in Koryo inherited that of the Unified Shilla without any remarkable development of its own, and the mathematicians were the Inner Officials isolated from the outside world who maintained their positions as specialists amid the turbulence of political changes. They formed a kind of Guild, their posts becoming patrimony. The mathematics in Koryo significant in that they paved the way for that of Chosun through a few books of mathematics such as 'Sanhak-Kyemong', 'Yanghwi-Sanpup' and 'Sangmyung-Sanpup'. King Sejong was quite phenomenal in his policy of promotion of mathematics. King himself was deeply interested in the study, createing an atmosphere in which all the high ranking officials and scholars highly valued mathematics. The sudden development of mathematic culture was mainly due to the personality and capacity of king who took anyone with the mathematic talent into government service regardless of his birth and against the strong opposition of the conservative officials. However, King's view of mathematics never resulted in the true development of mathematics perse and he used it only as an official technique in the tradition way. Korean mathematics in King Sejong's reign was based upon both the natural philosophy in China and the unique geo-political reality of Korean peninsula. The reason why the mathematic culture failed to develop continually against those social background was that the mathematicians were not allowed to play the vital role in that culture, they being only the instrument for the personality or politics of the king. While the learned scholar class sometimes played the important role for the development of the mathematic culture, they often as not became an adamant barrier to it. As the society in Chosun needed the function of mathematics acutely, the mathematicians formed the settled class called Jung-in (Middle-Man). Jung-in was a unique class in Chosun and we can't find its equivalent in China or Japan. These Jung-in mathematician officials lacked tendency to publish their study, since their society was strictly exclusive and their knowledge was very limited. Though they were relatively low class, these mathematicians played very important role in Chosun society. In 'Sil-Hak (the Practical Learning) period' which began in the late 16th century, especially in the reigns of Kings Youngjo and Jungjo, which was called the Renaissance of Chosun, the ambitious policy for the development of science and technology called for. the rapid increase of he number of such technocrats as mathematics, astronomy and medicine. Amid these social changes, the Jung-in mathematicians inevitably became quite ambitious and proud. They tried to explore deeply into mathematics perse beyond the narrow limit of knowledge required for their office. Thus, in this period the mathematics developed rapidly, undergoing very important changes. The characteristic features of the mathematics in this period were: Jung-in mathematicians' active study an publication, the mathematic studies by the renowned scholars of Sil-Hak, joint works by these two classes, their approach to the Western mathematics and their effort to develop Korean mathematics. Toward the 'Enlightenment Period' in the late 19th century, the Western mathematics experienced great difficulty to take its roots in the Peninsula which had been under the strong influence of Confucian ideology and traditional Korean mathematic system. However, with King Kojong's ordinance in 1895, the traditional Korean mathematics influenced by Chinese disappeared from the history of Korean mathematics, as the school system was hanged into the Western style and the Western mathematics was adopted as the only mathematics to be taught at the Schools of various levels. Thus the 'Enlightenment Period' is the period in which Korean mathematics shifted from Chinese into European.

  • Though the tradition of Korean mathematics since the ancient time up to the "Enlightenment Period" in the late 19th century had been under the influence of the Chinese mathematics, it strove to develop its own independent of Chinese. However, the fact that it couldn't succeed to form the independent Korean mathematics in spite of many chances under the reign of Kings Sejong, Youngjo, and Joungjo was mainly due to the use of Chinese characters by Koreans. Han-gul (Korean characters) invented by King Sejong had not been used widely as it was called and despised Un-mun and Koreans still used Chinese characters as the only "true letters" (Jin-suh). The correlation between characters and culture was such that , if Koreans used Han-gul as their official letters, we may have different picture of Korean mathematics. It is quite interesting to note that the mathematics in the "Enlightenment Period" changed rather smoothly into the Western mathematics at the time when Han-gul was used officially with Chinese characters. In Koryo, the mathematics existed only as a part of the Confucian refinement, not as the object of sincere study. The mathematics in Koryo inherited that of the Unified Shilla without any remarkable development of its own, and the mathematicians were the Inner Officials isolated from the outside world who maintained their positions as specialists amid the turbulence of political changes. They formed a kind of Guild, their posts becoming patrimony. The mathematics in Koryo is significant in that they paved the way for that of Chosun through a few books of mathematics such as "Sanhak-Kyemong, "Yanghwi - Sanpup" and "Sangmyung-Sanpup." King Sejong was quite phenomenal in his policy of promotion of mathematics. King himself was deeply interested in the study, createing an atmosphere in which all the high ranking officials and scholars highly valued mathematics. The sudden development of mathematic culture was mainly due to the personality and capacity of King who took any one with the mathematic talent onto government service regardless of his birth and against the strong opposition of the conservative officials. However, King's view of mathematics never resulted in the true development of mathematics per se and he used it only as an official technique in the tradition way. Korean mathematics in King Sejong's reign was based upon both the natural philosophy in China and the unique geo-political reality of Korean peninsula. The reason why the mathematic culture failed to develop continually against those social background was that the mathematicians were not allowed to play the vital role in that culture, they being only the instrument for the personality or politics of the King. While the learned scholar class sometimes played the important role for the development of the mathematic culture, they often as not became an adamant barrier to it. As the society in Chosun needed the function of mathematics acutely, the mathematicians formed the settled class called Jung-in (Middle-Man). Jung-in was a unique class in Chosun and we can't find its equivalent in China of Japan. These Jung-in mathematician officials lacked tendency to publish their study, since their society was strictly exclusive and their knowledge was very limited. Though they were relatively low class, these mathematicians played very important role in Chosun society. In "Sil-Hak (the Practical Learning) period" which began in the late 16th century, especially in the reigns of King Youngjo and Jungjo, which was called the Renaissance of Chosun, the ambitious policy for the development of science and technology called for the rapid increase of the number of such technocrats as mathematicians inevitably became quite ambitious and proud. They tried to explore deeply into mathematics per se beyond the narrow limit of knowledge required for their office. Thus, in this period the mathematics developed rapidly, undergoing very important changes. The characteristic features of the mathematics in this period were: Jung-in mathematicians' active study an publication, the mathematic studies by the renowned scholars of Sil-Hak, joint works by these two classes, their approach to the Western mathematics and their effort to develop Korean mathematics. Toward the "Enlightenment Period" in the late 19th century, the Western mathematics experienced great difficulty to take its roots in the Peninsula which had been under the strong influence of Confucian ideology and traditional Korean mathematic system. However, with King Kojong's ordinance in 1895, the traditonal Korean mathematics influenced by Chinese disappeared from the history of Korean mathematics, as the school system was changed into the Western style and the Western matehmatics was adopted as the only mathematics to be taught at the schools of various levels. Thus the "Enlightenment Period" is the period in which Korean mathematics sifted from Chinese into European.od" is the period in which Korean mathematics sifted from Chinese into European.pean.

주제 중심 통합(ITI: Integrated Thematic Instruction)형 가정과 의생활영역 교수-학습 과정안 개발 (Development of A Teaching-Learning Plan for Home Economics Education by Integrated Thematic Instruction(ITI) type)

  • 현재 전 세계는 정보화 세계화의 사회로 개방, 협력, 통합을 특징으로 하고 있으며, 이를 위한 창의적인 인재를 요구하고 있다. 국가의 경쟁력은 곧 창의적 인재 양성에 달려 있으며 개인적인 욕망과 성취를 위한 창의적 인재 양성이 아니라 나누고 배려하는 창의적 인재 양성을 통한 국가 경쟁력 향상으로 인류학적 가치를 요구하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 2015 개정 교육과정의 기저에 있는 문 이과 통합형 교육과정의 특징을 가정교과에 적용시켜 통합형 창의 인재를 육성하기 위한 교수-학습 과정안을 개발하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해서 우선, 1차에서 2015 개정 교육과정에서 제시된 의생활 영역의 내용 요소와 2009개정 교육과정이 적용된 기술 가정 교과서의 의생활 영역의 내용 요소를 추출한 후 전문가 집단이 내용선정 기준에 의해 5가지 주제를 추출하였다. 추출된 의생활 영역의 5가지 주제 중 '의복의 선택과 관리' 주제를 중심으로 주제 중심 통합형 가정과 의생활 교수-학습 과정안(이하 과정안)을 개발하였다. 과정안은 총 5차시 수업으로 [기초 탐구 - 내용 1 - 내용 2 - 심화탐구 - 적용]으로 구성하였다. 과정안은 교과 내 통합과 교과간 통합을 고려하였으며 통합형 수업의 진행 과정에서 배려와 나눔의 인성요소와 창의성, 문제 해결력 등을 향상시키고자 하였다. 세부적으로 실제 5차시 수업을 위해 개발한 교수-학습 과정안에 가정교과의 교과목표와 주제 중심 통합형 교육 목표를 분리하여 제시하였으며, 수업 진행단계에서 창의적 요소와 인성적인 교육 요소를 표면적으로 드러내어 수업에 적용하였다. 우리나라 교육은 새로운 교육과정이 수시로 개정 및 고시되고 있어 교사가 변화패러다임에 맞추어 수업을 실행하기가 어려웠다. 가정교과는 실제 생활과 밀접한 관련이 있어 통합형 주제로 수업을 하기에 적절한 교과이며 다른 교과에서 다루기에 한계가 있는 창의, 인성적 요소까지 학생들에게 통합적으로 교육할 수 있다는 점에서 교과의 교육적 의의를 가지고 있다. 본 연구의 주제 중심 통합형 가정과 의생활 교수-학습 과정안이 새롭게 도입되는 2015 개정 교육과정을 실시해야 하는 현장 교사들에게 도움이 되길 바라며, 나아가 이를 현장에 적용하여 학생들의 문제해결력 향상과 창의 융합형 인재양성에 얼마나 도움이 되는지에 대한 효과성을 검증하는 후속연구가 지속적으로 진행될 필요가 있다.
