여름철 내열성 증진을 위한 정량적 착의훈련의 효과 (제1보) -20대 여성의 적정착의 온도 설정: 의복내 온도를 중심으로- (A Study on Quantitative Wear Training for the Improvement of Heat Tolerance in Summer (Part I) -20's Females' Optimal Wearing: Focus on Inside Clothing Temperatures in Pre-summer-)

  • This study suggests quantitative guidelines for inside clothing temperatures to improve the heat tolerance of 20's females in summer. First, the inside clothing temperatures ($T_{cl}$) of each subject was measured in daily use. The subjects were asked to record subjective thermal sensations, clothing items worn, clothing weight, and activities during an experiment designed to determine the comfort zone of $T_{cl}$. In a thermally neutral state, the comfort zone of $T_{cl}$ was decided on a mean value $T_{cl}{\pm}1{\sigma}$. Second, the subjects were asked to wear clothing that would enable them to feel 'slightly warm but still comfortable'. The rest of the processes were the same as previous steps that were designed to understand the way and degree of clothing control. The comfort zone of $T_{cl}$ was decided in the same manner as the previous step. The two comfort zones were combined and named the combined comfort zone of the definitive comfort zone. The results were as follows: 1. Thermally comfortable $T_{cl}$, Hcl were $34.0{\pm}1.1^{\circ}C$, $40{\pm}9%%RH$ and the thermally comfortable ambient climate was $25.0{\pm}1.6^{\circ}C$, $53{\pm}7%$RH. 2. When subjects were asked to wear 'slightly warm but still comfortable', there were difference in thermally comfortable $T_{cl}$, clothing weight and clothing layer by subject. 3. In this study, the optimal $T_{cl}$ was decided on the mid-point of the definitive comfort zone of $T_{cl}$.

한국 전통 화조도문양을 응용한 텍스타일 디자인 개발 연구 (A study of Textile Designs with Traditional Korean Painting of Flower and Bird Patterns)

  • The purposes of this study were to re-interpret the Traditional Korean Painting of Flower and Bird Patterns from a modern point of view and use them in apparel textile design. A literature review of the Traditional Korean Painting of Flower and Bird Patterns was made first, and then, through manual and Photoshop workings, two apparel textile designs were suggested. The results were as follows. First, Traditional Korean Paintings of Birds and Flowers are covered not only by decorative beauty but also by the common pure hope and ideology of loving and adoring nature, which is inherent in the symbolism and racial characteristics and high aesthetic sense appeared by ancestors' life feeling. The meaning that is symbolized by each subject matter appearing in the Transcontinental Painting of Bird and Flower is important, but the ancestors' deeper and affectionate desire is shown in the harmony and happy aspect of a picture where more than two subject matters appear, such as Song Hak do where pine is with crane, cockscomb with chicken, bamboo with beacon fire, or a couple of them with flower. Second, two kinds of textile designs were suggested. The motif of work 1 targeted professional women of activity and individuality in their late 30s to early 40s. The lotus blossom pattern was selected to present its concept, "Chic Elegance." The motif of work 2 targeted intelligent women in their mid 40s, and the peony blossom was selected to present its concept, "Romantic Elegance."

전자무역 해외마케팅 교육과 연구체계 수립에 관한 연구 (A study on the research scheme and the education of e-trade marketing in Korea)

  • 전자무역의 단계별 성과를 볼 때 계약체결 이전 단계의 해외마케팅은 해외시장진출의 가장 큰 장애요인이면서 가장 많은 역량이 투여되는 부문으로 이에 대한 교육 및 연구체계를 재정립할 필요가 있다. 전자무역은 인터넷과 정보통신기술의 발전에 따른 파생적 수요성격이 강한 학문적 영역으로 무역실무와 더불어 무역학의 핵심주제로 부각되고 있다. 그러나 2000년대 중반이후 전자무역 관련분야 연구와 교육교재개발 등이 점차 감소되고 있는 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 우리나라 전자무역 중 해외마케팅의 측면에서 교육 및 학문적 연구체계와 성과를 검토하고 향후 해외마케팅 부문 교육과 연구체계 수립에 대한 방향을 제시하였다. 그 결과 전자무역관련 교육 및 연구 중 산업계에서 활성화되고 있는 검색엔진마케팅, 검색엔진최적화, 소셜네트워크분석 등에 대한 교육 및 연구체계를 확립해 나가는 것이 시급하다고 할 수 있다. 또한 이론과 실무가 접목되어 병행되는 캡스톤디자인 교과목의 도입이 필요하다고 할 수 있다.

LIFECYCLE OF THE INTERSTELLAR DUST GRAINS IN OUR GALAXY VIEWED WITH AKARI/MIR ALL-SKY SURVEY

  • The interstellar dust grains are formed and supplied to interstellar space from asymptotic giant branch (AGB) stars or supernova remnants, and become constituents of the star- and planet-formation processes that lead to the next generation of stars. Both a qualitative, and a compositional study of this cycle are essential to understanding the origin of the pre-solar grains, the missing sources of the interstellar material, and the chemical evolution of our Galaxy. The AKARI/MIR all-sky survey was performed with two mid-infrared photometric bands centered at 9 and $18{\mu}m$. These data have advantages in detecting carbonaceous and silicate circumstellar dust of AGB stars, and the interstellar polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons separately from large grains of amorphous silicate. By using the AKARI/MIR All-Sky point source catalogue, we surveyed C-rich and O-rich AGB stars in our Galaxy, which are the dominant suppliers of carbonaceous and silicate grains, respectively. The C-rich stars are uniformly distributed across the Galactic disk, whereas O-rich stars are concentrated toward the Galactic center, following the metallicity gradient of the interstellar medium, and are presumably affected by the environment of their birth place. We will compare the distributions of the dust suppliers with the distributions of the interstellar grains themselves by using the AKARI/MIR All-Sky diffuse maps. To enable discussions on the faint diffuse interstellar radiation, we are developing an accurate AKARI/MIR All-Sky diffuse map by correcting artifacts such as the ionising radiation effects, scattered light from the moon, and stray light from bright sources.

Functional Characterization of Mammary Gland of Holstein Cows under Humid Tropical Summer Climates

  • Physiological parameters were measured on six primiparous, non-pregnant Holstein cows prior to peak lactation over a 3-month summer season in southwestern Taiwan. The objectives were to characterize heat stress-induced change in functionality of mammary gland under natural climates of tropical summer and to establish physiological indices applicable to this environment in referring to this change. Environmental and physiological readings, milk and blood samples were taken at 15:00 h biweekly for totally five time points during the study. Climate readings showed that the afternoon humidex value reached the highest (53.5) around mid summer. Rectal temperature of cows taken simultaneously varied between $38.26^{\circ}C$ and $40.02^{\circ}C$ in parallel to humidex. Milk production declined drastically from 29.2 to 22.2 kg/d the first month entering summer but leveled up at end of the summer season suggesting effects exerted by heat stress rather than stages of lactation. Lactose content decreased linearly (p<0.05) with times in summer, from 4.69 to 4.38%. On the other hand, activity of N-acetylglucosaminidase (NAGase) in milk increased linearly to over two folds (p<0.05) during the same intervals. Elevations of fractional constituent of BSA in whey protein and serum cortisol level were also noticed in the course. Measurement of arteriovenous concentration (A-V) difference across the mammary gland demonstrated net uptake of glucose and net release of urea throughout the study period. The amount of urea released from mammary gland increased (p<0.05) progressively from 1.54 to 7.76 mg/dl during summer. It is concluded that gradual regression of mammary gland occurred along the humid tropical summer season. This regression is likely initiated through elevation of body temperature, which is irreversible above certain point. The increased release of urea from mammary gland during heat stress suggests its potential role as an early indicator of suboptimal mammary function.

고성능 유연 투명전극용 SiO2 기반 비대칭 다층 박막의 특성 (Characteristics of SiO2 Based Asymmetric Multilayer Thin Films for High Performance Flexible Transparent Electrodes)

  • Oxide (SiO2)/Metal(Ag)/Oxide(SiO2, ITO, ZnO) multilayer films were fabricated using a magnetron sputtering technique at room temperature on Si (p-type, 100) and a glass substrate. The electrical and optical properties of the asymmetric multilayer films depended on the thickness of the mid-layer film and the type of oxide in the bottom layer. As the metal layer becomes thicker, the sheet resistance decreases. However, the transmittance decreases when the metal layer exceeds a threshold thickness of approximately 10~12 nm. In addition, the sheet resistance and transmittance change according to the type of oxide in the bottom layer. If the oxide has a large resistivity, the overall sheet resistance increases. In addition, the anti-reflection effect changes according to the refractive index of the oxide material. The optical and electrical properties of multilayer films were investigated using an ultraviolet visible (UV-Vis) spectrophotometer and a 4-point probe, respectively. The optimum structure is SiO2 (30 nm)/Ag (10 nm)/ZnO (30 nm) multilayer, with the highest FOM value of 7.7×10-3 Ω-1.

경도인지장애 환자의 수단적 일상생활활동에 대한 고찰 (Review of the instrumental ADL for the Patients With Mild Cognitive Impairment)

  • 본 연구는 최근 많은 관심이 되고 있는 경도인지장애 환자의 특징과 수단적 일상생활활동에 대해 알아봄으로써 임상가들에게 작업치료에서 경도인지장애환자를 평가 및 치료하는데 도움이 되고자 하였다. 현재 치매환자를 위한 작업치료는 매우 활발하게 이루어지고 있으나 치매로 전환될 위험이 높은 경도인지장애 환자에 대하여 작업치료적 접근은 아직 이루어지지 않고 있다. 본 고찰에서는 정상노인과 감별하기 어려운 경도인지장애 환자의 작업영역 중 수단적 일상생활활동에 대해 초점을 맞추어야 한다는 근거들을 다루었으며, 경도인지장애 환자가 치매로 발전하는 것을 예방하기 위해서는 수단적 일상생활활동에 대한 고려가 필수적으로 이루어져야 함을 고찰하였다. 결론적으로, 치매로 발전 될 가능성이 높은 위험 집단인 경도인지장애 환자군의 작업영역을 고려한 수단적 일상생활활동에 대한 주기적인 평가와 그에 따른 작업치료적 개입이 필요할 것으로 보인다.

Comparison of clinical and histological characteristics of orthodontic tooth movement into recent and healed extraction sites combined with corticotomy in rats

  • Objective: This study was performed to investigate the rate of tooth movement and histological characteristics of extraction sockets those were subjected to corticotomy. Methods: A split-mouth randomized controlled trial experiment was designed. Thirty-two adult, male Wistar rats were divided into 2 groups: healing extraction socket (H) and recent extraction socket (R); these groups were randomly classified into 4 subgroups (0/7/21/60 days). The first maxillary molar was extracted on 1 side and 2 months were allowed for complete bone healing; then, the corresponding molar was extracted on the other side and surgical intervention was performed at the mid-alveolar point of the first maxillary molar. Ten grams of continuous force was applied. The outcomes measured were rate of tooth movement, percentage of periodontal space and histological evaluation. The rate of tooth movement was calculated as the measured distance divided by the duration of molar movement. Histomorphometric evaluations were performed on the second and third maxillary molars. The Wilcoxon signed rank test was used to compare differences between the two groups. Results: There were no significant differences in the rates of tooth movement between H and R groups at any of the 4 time points. The histological appearance and percentage of periodontal space between the R and H groups also demonstrated no significant differences. Conclusions: The rates of orthodontic tooth movement into recent and healed socket sites did not differ between the groups. Histological analysis of tooth movement revealed regional acceleration during every time period.

차종별 차량 옆문의 충돌 해석에 관한 융합 연구 (A Convergence Study on Impact Analysis of Automotive Side Door by the Class of Vehicle)

  • 본 연구에서는 현재 전복 사고가 자주 발생하는 Model A와 Model B의 중형 세단 차량들의 사이드 도어들을 구조 해석으로 서로 비교한다. 구조해석 결과, 두 모델 모두 전복 사고나 충격 시 하중이 작용되는 부분에서 최대 변형이 일어났고 2개의 모델 중 Model A가 Model B와 비교하면 충격력을 더 견딜 수 있다. 또한 도어의 모서리 부분에서 최대 응력이 일어났고 Model B가 Model A보다 2.5 배 더 응력이 커진다. 충돌 사고가 일어날 시, 2개의 모델 중 그 최대 응력이 작은 Model A가 Model B와 비교하면 더 큰 충격력을 견딜 수 있다. Model B가 Model A보다 더 큰 변형량을 갖는 것으로 보아 측면 충돌 사고에서는 Model A보다 위험할 것으로 사료된다. 차종별 차량 옆문의 충돌해석을 적용함으로서 본 논문에서의 연구 결과는 미적인 설계를 적용할 수 있는 융합 연구자료로서 유리하다고 여겨진다.

지하레이더 탐사법을 이용한 지반조사 사례 연구 (Case Study of Ground Penetrating Radar for Subsurface Investigation)

  • 토공사의 안전시공과 품질향상을 위해서는 지반의 지질구조 및 특성에 대한 정확한 정보의 획득이 무엇보다 중요하다. 지하레이더 탐사법은 수~수십 m 이내의 얕은 심도 지반을 조사할수 있는 간편한 지구물리탐사법의 하나이다. 본 연구는 토공사의 주요한 관심 대상인 지질 경계면 추정에 지하레이데 탐사법을 적용한 사례에 관한 것이다. 탐사지역의 기반암은 안산암이며, 풍화토층, 풍화암층, 연암층 등으로 구성되어 있음이 시추조사 결과로 알려졌다. 여기에 지하레이더 탐사를 실시하여 이들 지질 경계면의 심도를 추정하였다. 지질 경계면 심도를 추정하기 위해서는 지하 매질에서의 전자기파 속도를 분석하여야 하는데, 본 연구에서는 공통 중간점 (CMP, Common Mid-Point) 방법으로 전자기파 평균 속도 0.096m/ns를 구하여 자료를 처리하였다. 이렇게 추정된 심도와 시추조사 결과가 거의 일치하고 있는 점을 확인하였다. 또한 시추조사로는 밝히지 못했던, 연암층 상부경계에서의 차별풍화로 인한 지층의 기복을 확인하였다.
