A study on implementation of beam forming system for LED communication using micro controller (마이크로 컨트롤러를 이용한 LED 통신의 선택적 빔 포밍 시스템 구현에 관한 연구)

  • In this paper, we implemented LED beam forming communication system controlled by stepping motor. ATMega1284 was used as a MCU of main control board which has two main external IO, one is RS232 for connection with PC, the other is PORT for connection with motor driving board. Stepping motor rotated 360 degree when provided 160 clock and its rotation radius was increased by Archimedian Spiral. So LED can provide its light anywhere in the space and its beam forming was controlled by PC connected with RS232 of main control board. The action of beam forming was verified via actual HW/SW implementation.

  • This paper describes a control algorithm and test results of an automated manual transmission clutch actuated by a stepping motor. The control algorithm extracts driver's demand from CAN signals and decides the exact timing to engage or disengage the clutch based on the demand. A pulse signal is generated to drive the clutch and the travel of the clutch can be calculated by accumulating the pulse signal. An auto code generation method was introduced in implementing the control logic to the micro-processor of the prototype controller and a series of basic tests were carried out to validate its performance.

  • The most recent trend on digital hearing aid is to increase the ratio of signal to noise by directivity or to develop noise reduction algorithm inside DSP IC chip. This paper designed, fabricated and tested a digital hearing aid directivity testing device in which a micro-mouse-like the stepping motor with a speaker rotates around an examinant. Both ears of the examinant were fixed with ITE hearing aids in order to response to receiving sound. The diameter of the directivity testing device was 2 [m] and the micro-mouse was precisely controlled by PICBASIC micro processor.

  • A new actuating mechanism suitable for a micro positioning device is developed using piezo-electric elements. The actuator can make a step movement of 0.5 .mu. m up to 3.5 .mu. m. The step size can be adjusted on demand. By repeating this step action, long distance movement is achieved. Precise positioning can be obtained by combining the coarse motion with the maximum step size and fine motion. Two types of fine motion have been proposed for a driving method. Firstly, feedback control bases on PID is applied. The experimental results for the two method are presented.

  • This paper describes the reduction of vibration and position error of Linear Pulse Motor(LPM) with the control method of PWM duty ratio by using Motion Controller in LPM. The LPM is operated on micro-stepping drive, that the linear scale is sequently returned the position signals of a micro-meter And next micro-step is controlled with the scale factor when position error is occurred. The scale factor is experimently acquired.

  • In this paper, the polishing force monitoring and the control method were implemented for the polishing machine with the airbag tool. Airbag tool has been known to be adaptable to the curvature variation such as the aspherical and the free-form surface. However, it was necessary to control the tool movement of vertical axis also because of the table rotational wobble and vibration. To solve it by the polishing force control, we installed another stepping motor to the z-axis. And the polishing force was measured with the load cell and controlled by the PID Labview controller. A few hundreds gram of the polishing force were well controlled under 0.8 second of the response time and 5% variation. An experiment was done to clean the edge burrs of the micro channel structure of width $87{\mu}m$ using the polishing force control.

  • 본 논문은 스테핑 모터의 구동 중에서 2상 여자모드와 마이크로 스테핑의 주기성이 동일함에 기초하여 32 스텝의 정현파 마이크의 스테핑을 실현하고 그 특성을 연구한 내용이다. 마이크로 스테핑은 스테핑 모터의 스텝각을 크게 세분화하여 구동함으로써 진동과 소음이 적고 부드럽게 구동하고자 하는 방법인데, 본 논문의 정현파 마이크로 스테핑은 종래의 마이크로 스테핑에 비하여 더욱 우수한 저진동 저소음 특성을 나타낸다.
