네가티브 포토레지스트용 아크릴레이트계 바인더 합성 (Synthesis of Acrylate Binders for Negative Photoresist)

  • In this study, we synthesized novel UV-curable binders and applied for negative photoresist of display device. First, we synthesized UV-curable binders by radical polymerization with a mixture of Styrene/Methyl methacrylate/Methacrylic acid/Glycidyl methacrylate/N-Cyclohexylmaleimide at a fixed composition. Following the first step, we prepared a negative photoresist mixture optimized with photo sensitive initiator and others for the litho test. And then, we studied resolution and film retention with molecular weight of each binders and numerical value of Alkaline Desolution Rate(ADR). As a result of the litho test, we found that if the novel polymers have same numerical value of ADR, the resolution decreased and the film retention increased with the increasing of molecular weight of photoresist binder.

안료 잉크용 바인더의 입자 크기가 직물의 태에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Particle Sizes of Polymer Binders for Pigment Inks on Touch of Fabrics)

  • This study investigated effect of particle sizes of polymer binders for digital textile printing(DTP) pigment inks on touch of fabrics. The polymer binders were synthesized via miniemulsion polymerization of methyl methacrylate(MMA), butyl acrylate(BA), N-ethylolacrylamide(NEA) and methacrylic acid(MAA). The prepared binders were applied to black pigment inks and those black pigment inks were used to dye cotton fabrics. Then, color strength, rubbing fastness, stiffness, surface and bending properties of the dyed fabrics were investigated. Depending on the particle size of the polymer binder used, color strength, friction fastness, stiffness, surface and bending properties change. Generally, the larger the particle size of the polymer binder, the softer properties.

폴리카복실레이트 분자 구조에 따른 시멘트페이스트의 분산 및 흡착 특성 연구 (The Dispersibility and Adsorption Behaviour of Cement Paste with Molecular Structures of Polycarboxylates)

  • 분자 구조 중 $\pi$ 결합을 갖고 있는 카복시산과 폴리에틸렌글리콜 메틸에테르 메타크릴레이트(PMEM)를 자유 라디칼 반응에 의해 그라프트 공중합된 폴리카복실레이트(PC)계 고유동화제를 합성했고, FT-IR, $^{13}C-NMR$, 그리고 GPC를 활용하여 합성된 PC의 화학 구조 및 분자량을 조사했다. 4종의 카복시산(메타크릴산, 아크릴산, 무수말레인산, 그리고 이타콘산)과 [카복시산]/[PMEM]의 몰비를 변수로 시멘트페이스트에 적용한 결과, [카복시산]/[PMEM]의 몰비가 높을수록 시멘트 입자 상에 흡착량과 시멘트페이스트 유동성은 증가했다. 흡착량은 메타크릴산을 적용한 PC가 가장 높았고, 유동성은 아크릴산을 구조에 적용했을 때 가장 우수했다. 그러나 무수말레인산과 이타콘산을 주쇄로 사용한 경우 흡착 및 유동 특성이 좋지 않았다.

알킬 아크릴레이트와 관능성 단량체계 다중 Core-Shell 복합입자의 제조 (Preparation of Alkyl Acrylate and Functional Monomer Multi Core-Shell Composite Particles)

  • Core 입자로 methyl methacrylate (MMA), ethyl methacrylate (EMA)를 사용하고 shell 입자로 MMA, EMA, 2-hydroxyl ethyl methacrylate (2-HEMA), glycidyl methacrylate (GMA) 및 methacrylic acid (MAA)를 각각 사용하여 개시제 ammonium persulfate (APS), 유화제로 sodium dodecyl benzene sulfonate (SDBS)의 농도(0.01~0.03 wt%), 단량체의 종류와 조성을 변화시켜 수용성 유화중합으로 다중 core-shell복합입자를 제조하여 전환율, 입자경 및 입도분포, 평균분자량, 분자구조, 유리전이온도, 플라즈마 처리후의 접촉각, 등온열분해속도 및 인장강도를 각각 측정하여 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. SDBS 농도 0.02 wt%에서 MMA core-(EMA/GMA) shell 복합입자의 전환율이 98.5%로 우수하였고, 입자직경은 SDBS 농도 0.03 wt%에서 EMA core-(MMA/GMA) shell의 복합입자가 $0.48{\mu}m$로 높게 나왔다. 유리전이온도 측정으로부터 공중합체는 1~2개의 전이곡선 그리고 다중 core-shell 복합입자는 3개의 전이곡선을 얻었다. 전체적으로 접착박리강도의 크기는 shell 단량체가 MMA core인 경우 EMA/MAA > EMA/2-HEMA > EMA/GMA의 순으로 되었다.

관능성 단량체 종류에 따른 4원 용액형 아크릴계 점착제의 합성과 물성에 관한 연구 (The Effects of Functional Monomers on the Synthesis andPhysical Properties of Solution Type Quaternary Polymer Acrylic Pressure-Sensitive Adhesives)

  • To prepare a solution type acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive, quarter polymers were synthesized from butyl acrylate(BA), 2-ethylhexylacrylate(2-EHA) as a base monomer, methyl methacrylate(MMA) as a comonomer, each of methacrylic acid(MAA), acrylic acid(AA) as a functional monomer. Acrylic solution type pressure-sensitive adhesives(PSA's) of isocyanate derivative crosslinking PSA's were prepared by crosslinking of BEMM, BEMA with toluene-2,4-diisocyanate. The structure of adhesive was identified by FT-IR. The viscosity was measured by using Brookfield DV-III and molecular weight was measured by using gel permeation chromatography. The physical properties of polyethylene film coated with BEMMT, BEMAT were measured as a function of the concentration. As the result, BEMMT(0.6, 0.8), BEMAT(0.6) showed peel adhesion of $160{\sim}180\;g_f$/25 mm width and shear adhesion of more than 24 hours, and tackiness of $4/32{\sim}6/32$ which was relevant to commercial usage.

솔비탄 메타크릴레이트의 효소적 합성 - 반응온도와 아실 공여체의 영향 - (Enzymatic Synthesis of Sorbitan Methacrylate Effect of Reaction Temoerature and Acyl Donor)

  • In this research, the chemo-enzymatic synthesis of sorbitan methacrylate was investigated to optimize reaction conditions. Firstly, sorbitan was manufactured by sorbitol cyclic reaction in the presence of p-toluenesulfonic acid (p-TSA) as catalyst material. Secondly, sorbitan methacrylate was synthesized by immobilized lipase Novozyme 435 with acyl donors in t-butanol. As a result of enzymatic synthesis of sorbitan methacrylate, the conversion yield reached about $65\%$ in the condition of initial sorbitan conc. 50 g/L, enzyme content $3\%$ (w/v) , molar ratio 1:3, reaction temperature 50^{circ}C and reaction time 42 hrs using methyl methacrylate as acyl donor. Comparing with acyl donors and reaction temperature, the conversion yield reached about 18, 65 and $80\%$ with methacrylic acid, methyl methacrylate and vinyl methacrylate as acyl donor, respectively. And optimum reaction temperature was 60, 50, and 50^{circ}C, respectively

도공액의 보수성에 관한연구(제4보)- 알칼리 반응형 보수.유동성 개량제의 합성 - (A study on the Water Retention of Coating Colors(IV)-Synthesis of Alkali Sensitive Water Retention and Rheology Modifiers-)

  • Natural water-soluble polymers such as starch, casein and carboxy methyl cellulose(CMC) have been limited in their uses. However, the proper water retention of coating colors can not be obtained without addition of these polymers. Furthermore, the coating runnability and the physical properties of coated paper were not also satisfied. Therefore, the objective of this study was to synthesize the water retention and flow modifiers which can improve the water retention and flow properties of coating colors. We have measured physical properties of flow modifiers and coating colors which included flow modifiers. The viscosity of flow modifiers was very low at acid pH, and rapidly increased at about pH 7, and gradually reached to equilibrium at alkali pH. Such an increase comes from the molecular weight of flow modifiers and the amount of acrylic and methacrylic acids. The viscosity of coating color containing the flow modifiers was lower than that containing CMC. However, both of them had little difference in water retention. The water-phase viscosity of synthetic modifier containing coating color was either higher or similar compared to that of CMC containing coating color. The high shear viscosity of coating colors was low. Therefore, it can be concluded that the synthetic flow modifiers are very useful for improvement of flow properties and water retentions.

바인더의 공중합체 조성에 따른 안료잉크의 발색성 및 견뢰도 연구 (Color Strength and Fastness of Pigment Ink with Various Binder Monomer Compositions)

  • The binder polymers for digital textile printing(DTP) pigment inks were prepared using miniemulsion polymerization with various monomer compositions to study effects of monomer compositions on particle size distribution, average molecular weight, Tg, and color strength and rubbing fastness of the dyed fabrics with the prepared binder based pigment ink. The monomers used were MMA(Methyl methacrylate), BA(Butyl acrylate), MAA(Methacrylic acid), NMA(N-methylol acrylamide), NEA(N-ethylol acrylamide) and the ratios of the monomers were changed. The particle size was the smallest with 136nm when the MMA to BA weight ratio was 4:16 and the largest with 290nm when the MMA, BA, MAA, NEA ratio was 2.5:17:0.25:0.25. However, the glass transition temperature was lowest with $-41.90^{\circ}C$ and the color strength and rubbing fastness of the resulting sample were the best when the MMA, BA, MAA, NEA ratio was used. This suggested that the introduction of the NEA monomer to the binder polymer for the pigment ink could be an efficient way to enhance the rubbing fastness of the DTP pigment inks present.

  • To improve rubbing fastness of the printed fabrics, the binder polymers for Digital Textile Printing(DTP) pigment inks were synthesized with miniemulsion polymerization using various acrylic monomers, which are MMA(Methyl methacrylate), BA(Butyl acrylate), and Self-crosslinking monomers, such as NEA(N-Ethylol acrylamide) and MAA (Methacrylic acid). The acrylic monomer compositions were varied when synthesizing the binder polymers and their particle size distributions, average molecular weights, and Tgs were investigated. The prepared binder polymers were applied to prepare Cyan, Black, Yellow and Magenta pigment ink for DTP and the prepared inks were used to dye cotton fabrics. Then, color strength, and rubbing fastness were also investigated to study the effect of the comonomer compositions of the binder polymer on the color strength and rubbing fastness of the resulting pigment inks.

할로겐과 카르복시산으로 치환된 피리딘 첨가제를 사용한 소프트 콘택트렌즈의 물성 평가 (Physical Properties Assessment of Soft Contact Lens with Halogen and Carboxylic Substituted Pyridine as Additive)

  • 목적: 본 연구는 3-chloropyridine-4-carboxylic acid와 3-fluoropyridine-4-carboxylic acid를 첨가제로 사용하여 소프트 콘택트렌즈 제조 후 물리적 및 광학성 특성을 분석하여 콘택트렌즈 재료로서 활용도를 알아보았다. 방법: 본 실험에서는 소프트 하이드로젤 콘택트렌즈의 주재료인 HEMA (2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate)와 AA(acylic acid), MMA(methacrylic acid) 그리고 개시제인 AIBN(azobisisobutyronitrile), 교차결합제인 EGDMA(ethylene glycol dimethacrylate)를 사용하여 공중합 하였다. 결과: 생성된 고분자의 물리적 특성을 측정한 결과, 굴절률 1.4320~1.4342, 함수율 34.54~37.15%, 접촉각 $57.82{\sim}79.57^{\circ}$, 인장강도 0.2872~0.3608로 각각 나타났고 광학적 특성 측정 결과 가시광선 영역에서는 투과율이 88.8~90.6%로 나타났으며, UV-B 76.8~82.4%, UV-A 84.6~86.6%로 각각 나타났다. 결론: 본 실험 결과 3-chloropyridine-4-carboxylic acid 및 3-fluoropyridine-4-carboxylic acid를 첨가제로 사용하였을 때 고습윤성 및 자외선 차단기능을 가진 콘택트렌즈 재료로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.
