MHD 램프용 전자식 안정기의 보호 회로 설계 (Protection Circuit Design of Electronic Ballcst for MHD Lamps)

  • 본 논문에서는 전자식 안정기의 출력이 개방 또는 단락되었을 경우에 대한 보호 회로를 설계하였다. 전자식 안정기의 출력이 개방되었을 경우 일정한 주기의 고전압이 발생하여 스위치 소자에 전압 스트레스를 가하게 된다. 또한 출력이 단락되었을 경우 과전류가 흐르게 되어 안정기 발열 및 반도체 소자의 수명 감소 등 문제가 발생하게 된다. 이를 해결하고자 TTL 소자 및 수동 소자로 구성된 보호 회로를 제안하였으며 제안된 보호 회로는 저단가 구현 및 높은 신뢰성의 장점이 있다. 제안된 보호 회로를 실제 안정기에 연결하여 상황별 실험을 통하여 유용함을 증명하였다.

  • Gummy stem blight, caused by Didymella bryoniae occurs exclusively on cucurbits. This fungus has been known not to produce its pycnidium in vitro unless irradiated. Through this study, we optimized cultural conditions for mass-production of pycnidiospore by Metal Halide Lamp irradiation. In brief, the mycelial was cultured at $26^{\circ}C$ on PDA, for 2 days under the darkness, and then the plate was illuminated with MH lamp continuously for 3-4 days at $26^{\circ}C$, a great number of pycnidia was simultaneously formed. Thus produced pycnidiospores were used as immunogen. From fusions of myeloma cell (v-653) with splenocytes from immunifed mice were car ried out. And, two hybridoma cell lines that recognized the immunogen Didymella bryoniae were obtained. One Monoclonal Antibody, Db1, recognized the supernatant and the other monoclonal antibody, Db15, recognized the spore. Two clones were selected which were used to produce ascite fluid two MAb Db1 and Db15, were immunotyped and identified as IgG1 and IgG2b, respectively. Titer of MAb Db1 and MAb Db15 was measured absorbance exceeded 0.5 even at a $10^{-5}$ dilution. The MAbs reacted positively with Didymella bryoniae but none reacted with other of fungi and CMV, CGMMV Sensitivity of MAb was precise enough to detect spore concentration as low as $10^{3}$ well by indirect ELISA characterization of the MAb Db1, Db15 antigen by heat and protease treatments show that the epitope recognized by the MAb Bb1, Db15 were a glycoprotein.

조명물리량 측면에서 본 교량의 야간경관 평가 (Luminous Characteristics of Bridge's Nightscape across the Han River)

  • 본 연구는 한강교량의 야간경관조명에 관한 조명연출효과를 분석하기 위해 한강교량 8곳을 대상으로 경관조명 현황을 조사하였다. 선행연구를 통해 교량의 경관조명에 있어서 중요한 조명학적물리량 평가요소로 '휘도대비', '색상', '색온도'를 선정하였다. 디지털 광학 계측기인 Radiant Imaging Prometric 1400에 의해 측정된 휘도 색온도 색도분포 등의 물리량 분석결과, '교량의 구조형식' 및 '조명광원'이 한강교량의 야간경관조명의 물리적 특징에 큰 영향을 미치는 요소로 나타났으며, 특히 '교량의 구조형식'에 따라 강조하는 경관조명의 패턴이 유사하게 나타났다.

Titers of MAb Dbl and MAb Db15 were measured and the absorbance exceeded 0.5 even at a $10^{-5}$ dilution. The MAbs reacted positively with D. bryoniae but none reacted with other viral isolates, Cucumber mosaic virus and Cucumber green mottle mosaic virus. Sensitivity of MAb was precise enough to detect spore concentration as low as $10^{-3}$/well by indirect ELISA. Characterization of the MAbs Dbl, Db15 antigen by heat and protease treatments, which suggests that the epitope recognized by these two MAbs was glycoprotein.

Growth and changes in the biochemical composition of Isochrysis galbana under different light-emitting diode conditions

  • The marine microalgae Isochrysis galbana was cultured under various light-emitting diode (LED) light conditions with different wavelengths to examine changes in growth and in amino acid and fatty acid profiles. The culture conditions for the microalgae were Conway medium, salinity of 33 psu, temperature of $24^{\circ}C$, and a 16/8 h light/dark photoperiod. Six light sources, including 5 units of 180W LED lamps (peak wavelength: blue [LB] 470 nm; green [LG] 525 nm; yellow [LY] 595 nm; red [LR] 636 nm; white [LW] 442 nm) and 1 unit of a 175W metal halide (MH) lamp, were used for the experiment. The dry cell weights ($gL^{-1}$) of I. galbana under different light conditions were in the order of LW>LB${\geq}$MH>LR>LG>LY. Levels of essential amino acids were revealed to be significantly higher under LW, LG, and MH than under the other wavelengths (P<0.05). The fatty acid, unsaturated fatty acid, and DHA contents of I. galbana were higher under MH, LW, and LG. In addition, the carotenoid content was higher under MH, LW, and LG than under the other wavelengths (P<0.05). The fucoxanthin content was highest under MH (0.28%) and lowest under LY (0.2%), and it was 0.26% under LW and LG. The results indicate that the combined use of LW and LG is effective when using LED lamps for I. galbana cultivation.

채낚기 집어등 어선 주변에 유집된 살오징어, Todarodes pacificus의 분포 패턴 (Distribution patterns of the Japanese common squid, Todarodes pacificus attracted around the luring lamp on the jigging boat)

  • This study investigated luring distributions by water layer of common squid which were targeted by angling fishing vessels equipped with LED and metal-halide lamps using a scientific echosounder with a 120 kHz frequency in order to develop energy-effective underwater fish aggregation devices. In the analysis, angles of a transducer were changed from $0^{\circ}$ to $45^{\circ}$ and were rotated every $10^{\circ}$ horizontally. It was shown that common squid were densely distributed from the surface to 40 m and they were also distributed in directions of $10^{\circ}{\sim}+30^{\circ}$, $-30^{\circ}{\sim}-60^{\circ}$, and $-120^{\circ}{\sim}-130^{\circ}$with the head of vessel as the center. Comparative results of angles of transducer on acoustical densities of common squid distributing in 21~40 m water depth showed an average $101.8m^2/nm^2$ in vertical direction of $0^{\circ}$, $12.3m^2/nm^2$ in angle of $30^{\circ}$, and $42.4m^2/nm^2$ in angle of $45^{\circ}$, respectively. It implied that more considerations on acoustic scattering strength by incidence angle direction of the transducer and swimming oriental angle direction of common squid would be required.

Irradiance Distribution in East Sea by Using Measured Optical Properties for Squid Jigging Vessels

  • A fishing lamp is the instrument for attracting distributed fish to a certain place, and is the lighting system mainly used in fishery. In the inshore fishing, most fishing lamps are used for squid and hairtail jigging fishing, and the light source of the fishing lamps mainly used is metal halide with 1.5 KW in electric power consumption. We will analyze the irradiance distribution according to depth because squid is attracted towards light. To analyze irradiance distribution by such fishing lamps, data for seawater Type-II among the seawater types defined in 1976 are applied to East Sea. However, the Type-II data have limitations in analyzing precise seawater transmission characteristics, due to insufficient information on deep seawater. This paper analyzed the irradiance distribution of fishing lamps using the measurement of transmission characteristics in the seawater in East Sea up to 100 m underwater instead of Type-II data, which is not sufficient for transmission. A compensation factor was drawn between the actual measurement data and Type-II data through seawater transmission characteristics simulation.

이용자 만족도에 의거한 캠퍼스 옥외조명 연구 (A Study on the Outdoor Lighting of Campuses on the Ground of the User-Satisfaction)

  • The purpose of this study is to form a night-view at a university to satisfy users through case studies of four representative university campuses with analyzing the lighting conditions and facility satisfaction. The result of this study is following. From the present lighting status, there are 664(l9types) lightings at Kyunghee University, 350(17types) at Sungkyunkwan University and 437(l9types) at Ajou University. Main materials of the lightings are metal, iron and stainless. Moreover, most illuminants are white-colored metal-halide lamp. There is no specially designed lighting facility because ready-made goods were used. Furthermore, the locations of lightings are not suitable so some are useless. Most main spatial illuminations are not satisfying outdoor standard, so it can be concluded that the designs of present campuses are not carrying on with-out plans. From the result, present campus lighting does not satisfy the desire of users in aesthetic and functional point of view but consider the luminosity. However, even though the luminosity does not standardize the law. It is because the design does not reflect a suitable standard with desire of users and it does not have a long term plan. Moreover, the campus design has no study about development plan even though it has enough green area which has a potential possibility to overcome the lack of green areas in a city. Therefore, it is needed to design a comprehensive campus plan which satisfies the desire of students and residents with considering promotion of excitement and harmony through adjusting luminosity of the lighting facilities and supplying various lighting resources.

컨테이너 식물공장의 개발과 이를 활용한 광원별 엽채류의 생장특성 (The Development of Container-type Plant Factory and Growth of Leafy Vegetables as Affected by Different Light Sources)

  • 남극 등 불량환경 하에서 에너지를 절감하면서 신선 채소를 생산할 수 있는 컨테이너 식물공장을 설계하여 개발하였다. 20피트 컨테이너($L5.9m{\times}W2.4m{\times}H2.4m$)에 공간 활용을 최대화하기 위해 3단 수경재배시스템을 설치하였고, 양액공급은 저면급수 방식으로 하였다. 수경재배에서의 광원종류(광강도)에 따른 3가지 상추품종의 생육을 비교하였다. 정식 2주 후 광원종류(광강도)에 따른 상추 3품종의 생육결과는 형광등 $145{\mu}mol{\cdot}m^{-2}{\cdot}s^{-1}$ 처리구에서 지상부 생체중과 엽면적이 양호하였으나, 정식 4주 후에는 형광등 +메탈할라이드등 $150{\mu}mol{\cdot}m^{-2}{\cdot}s^{-1}$에서 다른 광원시험구보다 생육이 양호하였다. 상추 품종간에는 '청치마상추'의 생체중이나 엽면적이 가장 많았으며, '적축면상추', '롤로로사' 순이었다. 엽록소 농도(SPAD)는 광원종류간에 큰 차이가 없었으며 '청치마상추'가 품종 특성에 맞게 다른 상추보다 높은 값을 나타내었다. 이상의 결과에서 인공광원을 이용한 식물공장에서 상추 재배시 광의 강도에 따라서 식물체 생육이 차이가 있었고, 상추의 품종에 따라 생육정도에 차이가 있었으며 이는 저광도의 식물공장 내에서 알맞은 품종을 선택하여야 할 것으로 판단되었다.

  • Objectives : The purpose of this study is to investigate the delayed luminescence-biophoton emission from roots of Angelica gigas N., Angelica sinensis D., and Angelica acutiloba K These three species of Genus Angelica are now used as 'Danggui' in Traditional Korean Medicine. Methods : Randomly selected samples from roots of Angelica gigas N., Angelica sinensis D., and Angelica acutiloba K were radiated with 150 W metal halide lamp for 1 minute. After radiation, biophoton emissions of each sample were detected by electron multiplication-charge coupled device camera. The detected biophoton image was calculated with unit of counts per pixel. Results : The average and maximum biophoton emissions of delayed luminescence with electron multiplication ratio of ${\times}150$ and ${\times}250$were distinguished significantly between Angelica gigas N. and the other two species. Conclusions : These results suggest that biophoton imaging of roots of Angelica gigas N., Angelica sinensis D., and Angelica acutiloba K. could become the meaningful method for the study of differentiation between root of Angelica gigas N. and the other two species, Angelica sinensis D. and Angelica acutiloba K.
