Embedded system is applied in various fields and must equip system to respond market's requirement which is changing fast. Products that do not equip such fast construction system will have become sterilization. Construction system for Time-To-Market is reusability system or framework that have reused existent product and produce new product. Because embedded system is being based on hardware, amendment is not available easily, but can change system softly using segment of software. Therefore, in this paper, suggest meta-model of reusability framework that can change embedded software. Meta model of this paper suggests dynamic meta-model to design functional flow of reusability framework.
This paper proposes a thermography-based coating thickness estimation method for steel structures using model-agnostic meta-learning. In the proposed method, a halogen lamp generates heat energy on the coating surface of a steel structure, and the resulting heat responses are measured using an infrared (IR) camera. The measured heat responses are then analyzed using model-agnostic meta-learning to estimate the coating thickness, which is visualized throughout the inspection surface of the steel structure. Current coating thickness estimation methods rely on point measurement and their inspection area is limited to a single point, whereas the proposed method can inspect a larger area with higher accuracy. In contrast to previous ANN-based methods, which require a large amount of data for training and validation, the proposed method can estimate the coating thickness using only 10- pixel points for each material. In addition, the proposed model has broader applicability than previous methods, allowing it to be applied to various materials after meta-training. The performance of the proposed method was validated using laboratory-scale and field tests with different coating materials; the results demonstrated that the error of the proposed method was less than 5% when estimating coating thicknesses ranging from 40 to 500 ㎛.
The purpose of this study is to develop meta evaluating indicators for Defense R&D Programs in Korea. At first, the four components of this meta evaluation model were designed, which are evaluation context, evaluation input, evaluation process, evaluation output. And fifty two indicators were developed for this meta evaluation. Basic model of meta evaluation was derived from the literature review and brain storming. And this meta evaluation model was determined by adapting the result of experts who performed evaluations for Defense R&D Programs in recent years. Factor Analysis method was used to verify the validity of meta evaluation model. The survey of fifty three members turned out that Cronbach' ${\alpha}$ was over 0.6 in evaluation components and items. And the reliability of evaluation context was 0.877, that of evaluation input was 0.755, that of evaluation process was 0.755, that of evaluation output was 0.755 respectively. Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method was used in assigning the evaluation weight. The survey of twenty two members showed that the Consistency Ratio was 0.09 in evaluation components and items.
Since XML (eXtensible Markup Language) was highlighted as an information interchange format, there is an increasing demand for incorporating XML with databases. Most of the approaches are focused on RDB (Relational Databases) because of legacy systems. But these approaches depend on the database system. Countless researches are being focused on DTD (Document Type Definition). However XML Schema is more comprehensive and efficient in many perspectives. We propose a meta-model for XML Schema that is independent of the database. There are three processes to build our meta-model: DOM (Document Object Model) tree analysis, object modeling and storing object into a fixed DB schema using model mapping approach. We propose four mapping rules for object modeling, which conform to the ODMG (Object Data Management Group) 3.0 standard. We expect that the model will be especially useful in building XML-based e-business applications.

The purpose of the present study is to suggest the meta data of the attribute mapping for interoperability from IFC to CityGML. For this, we analyzed the interoperability issue including the neutral information model structure such as IFC, CityGML. To solve the interoperability problem between IFC and CityGML model which is the neutral GIS format, We proposed the meta data including the mapping rule. The meta data is consists of the connection information between BIM and GIS model, the mapping rule based on the perspective of the use-case, the operator and the attribute. By using this, XML to represent the meta data is defined and the information mapping system is developed.

Computer simulation models are in general quite complex and time-consuming to run, and therefore, a simpler meta-model is usually constructed for further analysis. In this paper, JANUS, a war-game simulator, is used to describe a certain tank combat situation. Then, second-order response surface and artificial neural network meta-models are developed using the data from eight different experimental designs. Relative performances of the developed meta-models are compared in terms of the mean squared error of prediction. Computational results indicate that, for the given problem, the second-order response surface meta-model generally performs better than the neural network, and the orthogonal array-based Latin hypercube design(LHD) or LHD using maximin distance criterion may be recommended.

In this paper, a meta model using neural network substituting for the simulator aerodynamic database is proposed to improve simulation fidelity near the critical flight area and real-time performance. It is shown that the accuracy of the meta model is relatively higher than the existing table lookup methods for arbitrary nonlinear database and the calculation speed is also improved for a specific F-16 maneuver simulation. The increase in the number of hidden nodes in the meta model for better accuracy of database representations causes a delay in function generation due to increased time required for computing exponential functions. In order to make up this drawback, we additionally study the fast exponential function method.

The purpose of this paper is to provide an abstracted meta-model for executing Capabilities Portfolio Management (CPM) effectively based on DoDAF2.0. The purpose of developing an architecture is for beneficial use of it. A good set of architectural artifacts facilitates the manipulation and use of them in meeting its usage objectives well. Systems engineering methodologies evolve to accommodate or to deal with enterprise or SoS/FoS level problems. And DoD's Capabilities Portfolio Management (CPM) is a good example which demonstrates enterprise or SoS level problems. However, the complexity of the architecture framework makes it difficult to develop and use the architecture models and their associated artifacts. DoDAF states that it was established to guide the development of architectures and to satisfy the demands of a structured, repeatable method for evaluating alternatives which add value to decisions and management practices. One of the objectives of DoDAF2.0 is to define concepts and models usable in CPM which is one of DoD's six core processes. However, DoDAF and various guidelines state requirements for CPM rather than how to. This paper provides methodology for CPM which includes process and tailored meta-models based on DoDAF Meta Model (DM2).
This paper presents comparative studies of reliability analysis and meta-modeling using the sampling method of Monte Carlo simulation for the structure design of an automatic ocean salt collector (AOSC). The thickness sizing variables of structure members are considered as random variables. Probabilistic performance functions are selected from strength performances evaluated via the finite element analysis of an AOSC. The sampling methods used in the comparative studies are simple random sampling and Sobol sequences with varied numbers of sampling. Approximation methods such as the Kriging model is applied to the meta-model generation. Reliability performances such as the probability failure and distribution are compared based on the variation of the sampling method of Monte Carlo simulation. The meta-modeling accuracy is evaluated for the Kriging model generated from the Monte Carlo simulation and Sobol sequence results. It is discovered that the Sobol sequence method is applicable to not only to the reliability analysis for the structural design of marine equipment such as the AOSC, but also to Kriging meta-modeling owing to its high numerical efficiency.
XPDL is a XML-based language for process definition exchange that is proposed by WfMC. This paper propose a model which model XPDL document structure (Schema) using UML in order to define and to exchange workflow process, and make business flow understanding ease for inter-business cooperation. So, we define mapping rules in which map XPDL documents into UML class diagram and UML activity diagram. By these mapping rules, elements composing XPDL process meta-model are mapped into UML class diagram, and process activities are mapped into UML activity diagram. Also, we apply proposed mapping technique to model a workflow of (')Credit card state check system.(')
