NCS 기반 학습평가 사례: 전문대학 방사선과 학생들을 대상으로 (Examples of NCS-based Learning Assessment: For the College of Radiotechnology)

  • 최근 NCS 교육기반으로 개편된 이후 NCS에서 요구하는 직업기초능력과 직무능력을 향상하기 위한 다양한 학습방법이 모색되고 있으며, 그에 따른 평가방법이 절실히 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 전문대학 방사선과 학생들을 대상으로 NCS 교육과정에서 요구하는 직무능력과 직업기초능력을 향상시키기 위하여 평가 사례로 메타인지 학습과 하브루타 학습을 적용하여 평가하였다. 적용한 결과, 메타인지 학습 대응 표본 통계량에서는 사전 메타인지학습 설문을 5점 척도로 했을 경우 평균 2.6883, 사후 메타인지 학습 설문 평균은 4.2468로 나타나 약 1.55점 향상되었다. 상관계수는 0.782, 유의확률은 0.045로 유의하게 나타났다. 하브루타 학습 대응 표본 통계량에서는 사전 하브루타 학습 설문을 5점 척도로 했을 경우 평균 3.1515, 사후 하브루타 학습 설문 평균은 4.3853으로 나타나 약 1.23점 향상되었다. 상관계수는 0.631, 유의확률은 0.049로 유의하게 나타났다. 메타인지 학습과 하브루타 학습이 상관관계가 있는지 이변량 상관계수를 통하여 알아 본 결과, 메타인지의 평균은 3.4675, 하브루타의 평균은 3.7684로 나타났으며 메타인지 학습과 하브루타 학습은 -0.042의 상관관계를 가지며 통계적으로 유의한 차이는 없는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 직무능력을 향상시키기 위한 학습방법은 교과목 특성을 고려하여 적용해야 할 것이다.

경도인지장애 침치료 인지기능효과 : 체계적 문헌고찰 메타분석 (Cognitive Function Effects of Acupuncture Treatment for Mild Cognitive Impairment : Systematic Literature Review and Meta-Analysis)

  • 목적 : MMSE와 MoCA 인지 도구를 사용하여 인지 유형에 따른 침치료 효과를 확인하고자 하였다. 체계적 문헌 고찰을 통하여 침치료 적용 방법에 따라 효과성과 침치료 무작위 임상시험 논문의 질을 평가하여 임상시험 논문의 편향성을 파악하고자 하였다. 방법 : 2012년에서 2023년까지 수행된 경도인지장애 침치료 효과에 대한 논문을 문헌고찰과 코크란 메타분석으로 조사한 연구이다. 논문 질 분석도구는 코크란 편향성 위험도구(Cochrane risk of bias : RoB)를 사용하였으며 메타분석 도구는 메타분석용 Cochrane RevMan V5.4.1 (Cochrane Collaboration) 소프트웨어를 사용하였다. 결과 : 분석에 사용한 대상자는 총 967명으로 침치료 무작위 대조군 연구논문 16편이 분석되었다. 결과는 다음과 같다. 경도인지장애 침치료 메타분석 결과 MMSE 평균차이는 1.61로 95% 신뢰구간은 0.14에서 3.07로 p<0.001로 유의하였다. Z=2.15(p=0.03), MoCA 점수는 평균차이는 0.39에서 2.49로 p<0.001), Z=2.70(p=0.007)로 경도인지장애 대상자의 침치료 효과는 유의하였다. 결론 : 경도인지장애 침치료 효과는 유의하였으며, 향후 다양한 유형의 경도인지장애 침치료 무작위대조군 연구를 제안하고자 한다. 이 연구의 의의는 지역사회 경도인지장애 대상자의 예방적 차원의 융합인지 중 재프로그램개발의 기초자료를 제시하였다는데 의의가 있다.

  • 본 연구는 메타분석의 방법으로 경도인지장애 노인을 대상으로 한 컬러테라피 중재 연구에서 인지기능과 우울에 효과가 있었는가를 확인하고자 시도되었다. 본 연구에서는 2000년부터 2022년 10월까지 국내 데이터베이스를 통해 실험연구 최종 8편의 연구에 대한 인지기능과 우울의 효과 크기를 산출하였다. 그 결과 전체 연구의 통계적으로 유의한 평균 효과크기를 확인하였다. 집단 간 효과크기 차이 검정에서도 인지기능과 우울 모두 유의한 효과크기를 확인할 수 있었다. 본 연구를 통해 컬러테라피가 경도인지장애 노인의 인지기능을 향상시키고 우울을 완화시킬 수 있는 효과적인 중재임을 확인하였다. 이 연구결과를 근거로 칼러테라피를 활용한 경도인지장애 노인 대상 중재프로그램의개발이 필요하다고 본다.

치매노인을 위한 신체활동 프로그램이 인지기능에 미치는 영향 : 국내연구의 메타 분석 (The Effect of Physical Activity Program for Elderly with Dementia on Cognitive Function: Meta-Analysis of Studies in Korea)

  • PURPOSE: Many studies have reported the improvement of cognition through physical activity among subject with dementia. This study aimed to whether the current studies supports that physical activity intervention is efficacious on cognitive performance in subject with dementia. METHODS: Two independent reviewers searched National assembly library, RISS, KISS (2005-2015) using the concepts of dementia, exercise, and physical activity. We included randomized controlled trials that examined the efficacy of physical activity in subject with dementia. A meta-analysis was performed to estimate the effect sizes cognition with CMA (Comprehensive Meta-Analysis, version 2.2.064) soft-ware program. Nine randomized controlled trials were included, providing data from 133 individuals and excluding those failing to criteria of this study. RESULTS: The meta-analysis showed that physical activity intervention had a rather small effect sizes of 0.36 (95% confidence interval 0.14-0.59) on cognition performance in subject with dementia. Outcome measurement were MMSE-K (Mini-mental state examination Korean version) and LOCTA (Loewenstein Occupational Therapy Cognitive Assessment). We found heterogeneous among studies and there was difference between the studies (Q = 19.63, d(f)=12, $I^2= 38.88$). CONCLUSION: The present analysis suggests that physical activity interventions have the low effect sizes on cognition performance in subject with dementia Further studies will be required to develop the various programs for improving the cognitive performance in subject with dementia.

운동이 노인의 인지기능에 미치는 영향 : 체계적 문헌고찰 및 메타분석 (The effect of exercise on cognitive function in the elderly : A systematic review and meta-analysis)

  • 본 연구는 65세 이상의 정상 노인을 대상으로 운동요법이 인지기능에 미치는 영향을 체계적 문헌고찰 및 메타분석을 통해 확인하고자 수행되었다. 본 연구는 국내 주요 DB를 이용하여 논문검색을 하였으며 3.197편 중 선정기준에 적합한 최종 14편의 논문을 체계적 문헌고찰하였으며 이 중 효과크기를 산출할 수 있는 11편을 대상으로 메타분석을 실시하였다. 분석은 랜덤효과모형을 이용하였으며, 운동중재의 효과크기를 산출하였다. 본 연구에서 운동중재의 인지기능에 대한 효과크기는 Hedges' g=1.05 (95% CI: 0.61~1.50)로 큰 효과크기를 보였으며, 전체 이질성이 $I^2=82.3%$ (Q=56.61, p<.001)로 중재방법, 주당 중재횟수, 중재기간, 측정도구를 조절변수로 하여 조절효과를 분석하였다. 분석결과 중재방법, 주당 중재횟수, 중재기간에서는 유의한 차이가 없었으며, 측정도구에서 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 우리나라 노인의 인지기능에 운동이 미치는 영향에 대한 국내연구결과들을 체계적으로 분석하고, 그 효과크기를 객관적으로 제시하여 향후 인지기능 향상을 위한 중재전략으로 운동요법을 설계할 때 기초자료를 제공하였다는 데에 의의가 있다.

지역사회 거주 치매 노인의 인지재활프로그램 효과 : 체계적 문헌고찰 및 메타분석을 통한 접근 (Effectiveness of Community-Based Cognitive Rehabilitation Program on Demented Individuals: Systematic Review and Meta Analysis)

  • Purpose: This study investigated evidence for the effects of community-based cognitive rehabilitation programs for demented elderly. Methods: The literature review covered studies between 2004 and 2014, and searched international databases including Ovid-MEDLINE, EMBASE, and the Cochrane Library. The Risk of Bias Assessment Tool for Non-Randomized Studies was used by two reviewers to evaluate independently the quality of the selected articles. Results: Eighteen studies were selected through a systematic search of the literature. About three quarters of the studies showed that the community-based cognitive rehabilitation programs provided by nurses were significantly effective in enhancing cognition among elderly individuals with dementia. Conclusion: Based on these results, we suggest that nurse is an appropriate profession to manage cognitive rehabilitation or cognitive enhancement programs for demented elderly individuals. Therefore, the current system in which caregivers provide cognitive rehabilitation programs for demented elderly individuals must be reformed.

자기주도학습과 자기조절학습 프로그램이 수학의 인지적 영역과 정의적 영역에 주는 효과에 대한 메타분석 (Meta-Analysis of Effects of Self-directed and Self-regulated Learning Programs on the Cognitive and Affective Domains of Math)

  • The purpose of this study was to report the effects of self-directed and self-regulated learning programs on elementary, middle, and high school students through meta-analysis of previous studies. For this research, 22 of previous studies were selected which were all conducted in the country, and calculated the effect size of 'standardized change of the mean difference' for many factors included in each research. The findings were as follows: first, the overall effect sizes of self-directed and self-regulated learning programs on elementary, middle, and high school students were .665 and .702 in the affective and cognitive domain, respectively, meaning that the self-directed and self-regulated learning programs had average or greater effects on elementary, middle, and high school students and exerted somewhat greater effects in the cognitive domain. Second, when the areas of moderating effects were divided into self-directed and self-regulated learning, the former and latter had more influences on the cognitive and affective domains, respectively. Third, the elementary school level recorded a larger effect size both in the affective and cognitive domains than the secondary school level. Fourth, the findings show that the characteristics of affective domain, "reflective thinking" and "self-confidence," recorded a very large effect size both at the elementary and secondary school levels. Finally, the programs were more effective when the application period was one to four weeks in the affective domain and more than four weeks in the cognitive domain. And, Significance and implications of this research were discussed.

국내 간호대학생의 전공만족도 관련변인에 대한 체계적 고찰과 메타분석 (A Meta-analysis of the Variables related to the Major Satisfaction of Nursing students.)

  • Purpose: Factors related to the major satisfaction of nursing students were systematically searched and quantitatively synthesized. Methods: Meta-analysis was conducted upon 47 articles in Korean master and doctorate degree dissertations and academic journals. Meta-analysis of major satisfaction-related variables was conducted using Comprehensive Meta-Analysis (CMA) 2.0 program. The effect size of the related variables was analyzed by converting the statistic r value to Fisher's Z. Results: The overall average effect size of major satisfaction was the largest effect size (ES=.49), followed by cognitive factors (ES=.58), affective factors (ES=.45), and psychomotor factors (ES=.31). The cognitive factors were in the order nursing professionalism(ES=.70), nurse's image (ES=.65), and critical thinking disposition (ES=.36). The affective factors were self-esteem (ES=.59), emotional intelligence (ES=.55), career identity (ES=.49), self-efficacy (ES=.48), college adjustment (ES=.45), practice satisfaction (ES=.45), resilience (ES=.42), (ES=.40), grit (ES=.34), and stress (ES=.26). The psychomotor factors were clinical performance ability (ES=.38) and career search behavior (ES=.31). Conclusion: The results of this study are valuable when giving consideration to the variables related to nursing students' major satisfaction, for developing a strategic model to enhance the satisfaction of nursing students.

Meta learning-based open-set identification system for specific emitter identification in non-cooperative scenarios

  • The development of wireless communication technology has led to the underutilization of radio spectra. To address this limitation, an intelligent cognitive radio network was developed. Specific emitter identification (SEI) is a key technology in this network. However, in realistic non-cooperative scenarios, the system may detect signal classes beyond those in the training database, and only a few labeled signal samples are available for network training, both of which deteriorate identification performance. To overcome these challenges, a meta-learning-based open-set identification system is proposed for SEI. First, the received signals were pre-processed using bi-spectral analysis and a Radon transform to obtain signal representation vectors, which were then fed into an open-set SEI network. This network consisted of a deep feature extractor and an intrinsic feature memorizer that can detect signals of unknown classes and classify signals of different known classes. The training loss functions and the procedures of the open-set SEI network were then designed for parameter optimization. Considering the few-shot problems of open-set SEI, meta-training loss functions and meta-training procedures that require only a few labeled signal samples were further developed for open-set SEI network training. The experimental results demonstrate that this approach outperforms other state-of-the-art SEI methods in open-set scenarios. In addition, excellent open-set SEI performance was achieved using at least 50 training signal samples, and effective operation in low signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) environments was demonstrated.

The Effect of Aerobic Exercise on Brain-Derived Neurotrophic Factor (BDNF) in Individuals with Mild Cognitive Impairment: a Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis of a Randomized Controlled Trials

  • Objective: Mild cognitive impairment (MCI) is a condition in which cognitive and executive functions are reduced, and older adults with MCI are ten times more likely to develop dementia than healthy older adults. Expression of brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) through aerobic exercise is associated with increased cognitive and executive functions. in this review, randomized controlled trials (RCTs) on the effects of aerobic exercise on BDNF in individuals with mild cognitive impairment are summarized and qualitatively and quantitatively analyzed to suggest the necessity of aerobic exercise. Design: a systematic review and meta-analysis. Methods: RCTs were searched for changes in BDNF through aerobic exercise using four international databases. Quality assessment and quantitative analysis were performed using RevMan 5.4. Quantitative analysis was quantified with a standardized mean difference (SMD) and presented as a random effect model. Results: Three RCTs evaluated BDNF in 123 patients with MCI. There was a significant improvement in the experimental group that performed aerobic exercise compared to the control group. The results analyzed using the random effects model were SMD = 0.48. Conclusions: In this review, we reported the effects and mechanisms of aerobic exercise in individuals with MCI. As a result of synthesizing RCTs that performed aerobic exercise, a significant increase in BDNF was confirmed.
