  • At present, it is indispensable to utilize data as an information society. Therefore, the database is used to manage large amounts of data. In real life, most of the data in a database is the personal information of a group of members. Because personal information is sensitive data, the role of the database administrator who manages personal information is important. However, there is a growing number of attacks on databases to use this personal information in a malicious way. SQL Injection is one of the most known and old hacking techniques. SQL Injection attacks are known as an easy technique, but countermeasures are easy, but a lot of efforts are made to avoid SQL attacks on web pages that require a lot of logins, but some sites are still vulnerable to SQL attacks. Therefore, this study suggests effective defense measures through analysis of SQL hacking technology cases and contributes to preventing web hacking and providing a secure information communication environment.

  • Due to frequent topology changes in wireless networks, inter-node link disconnection and path re-establishment occur, causing problems such as overloading control messages in the network. In this paper, to solve the problems such as link disconnection and control message overload, we perform path setup in three steps of the neighbor node discovery process, the route discovery process, and the route management process in the wireless network environment. The link stability value is calculated using the information of the routing table. Then, when the zone master monitors the calculated link value and becomes less than the threshold value, it predicts the link disconnection and performs the path reset to the corresponding transmitting and receiving node. The proposed scheme shows a performance improvement over the existing OLSR protocol in terms of data throughput, average path setup time, and data throughput depending on the speed of the mobile node as the number of mobile nodes changes.

  • At the present time, the number of accidents has enlarged speedily and in country like India per day there are about 204 accidents occurred. Accidents of two-wheeler compose a foremost segment of every accident and it can be true for the reason that two-wheelers like bikes not able to produce as many as security measurements normally incorporated in cars, truks and bus etc. General main rootcost of the two-wheeler accidents happen only when people community not remember to wearing a device helmet and during the driving time feels like sleep condition, alcohol disbursement, many of the drivers doesn't know heavy vehicles like Loory and buses approaching into very closer to their two wheelers, contravention of two wheelers in traffic rules and regulations. Let's overcome the above situations; our important objective is to develop an intelligent system device that can successfully facilitate in avoidance of every kind of problems. Suppose any of the above stated situations occurs, at that moment how system device identify and represents the commanders and community, and finally the stated situation be able to taken care of straight away without any further delay. A smart intelligent helmet system is a defending head covering used by rider for making bike riding safer than earlier. This is finished by incorporating sophisticated features like detecting the usage of helmet by the rider, connected Bluetooth module in helmet. In order to maintain the temperature inside the helmet device we need to include CPU fan module inside the device. RF based helmet prevents road accidents and identify whether people community is not using a component helmet or used. Main responsibility of the system is to detect accidents by vibration sensors, accelerometers and also with the help of modules global positioning system and global system for mobile commnicaiton module. A wireless communication device used to discover the accident area site location and likewise notifying the two-wheeler drived people's relatives and short message text information passed to the positioned hospitals.

  • Marine accidents are mostly caused by medium and small ships, and are continuously increasing. In this paper, we propose an architecture of the speech synthesis based automatic safety navigation support service providing system for small ships that equiped onboard systems compared with vessels. The main purpose of the system is to prevent marine accidents by providing synthesized voice safety messages to nearby ships. The safety navigation support service is operated by connecting GPS and AIS to synthesize voice safety messages, automatically broadcast through VHF. Therefore, we developed a data processing module, a staged risk analysis module, a voice synthesis safety message generation module, and a VHF broadcasting equipment control module, which are components of the system. In addition, we conducted laboratory-level and sea-trial demonstration tests using the developed the system, which verified usefulness of the proposed service.

Moreover, they possess such as shortcomings unreliable error message announcements and difficulties with real-time assistance suppers and emergency measures. In order to solve these deficiencies, Wireless Remote Control System was designed and implemented. Wireless Remote Control System is able to manage and monitor remote systems by using mobile communication devices for instantaneous control. The implementation of Wireless Remote Control System leads to these security Problems as well as solutions to aforementioned issues with existing web-based system management software solutions. Therefore, this paper has focused on the security matters related to Wireless Remote Control System. The designed security functions include mobile device user authentication and target system access control. For security verification of these security functions introduced CPN(Coloured Petri Nets) which is capable of expressing every possible state for each stage. And then in this paper was verified its security through PI(Place Invariant) based on CPN(Coloured Petri Nets). The CPN expression and analysis method of the proposed security function can also be a useful method for analyzing other services in the future.

  • Ubiquitous Sensor Network consists of a number of sensor nodes with a limited computation power and limited communication capabilities, and a sensor node is able to communicate with each other at anytime and in any place. Due to the rapid research and development in sensor networks, it will rapidly grow into environments where hmm beings can interact in an intuitive way with sensing objects which can be PDAs, sensors, or even clothes in the future. We are aiming at realizing an Unattended Secure Security System to apply it to Ubiquitous Sensor Network. In this paper, the vulnerabilities in the Unattended security system are identified, and a new protocol called OMAC-SNEP is proposed for the Unattended Secure Security System. Because the CBC-MAC in SNEP is not secure unless the message length is fixed, the CBC-MAC in SNEP was replaced with OMAC in SNEP. We have shown that the proposed protocol is secure for my bit length of messages and is almost as efficient as the CBC-MAC with only one key. OMAC-SNEP can be used not only in Unattended Security System, but also any other Sensor Networks.

  • Recent personal data breach incidences draw the public's attention to their privacy and personal rights. The new personal data protection law effective in September 2009 imposes additional legal responsibility on personal data controllers and processors. For instance, if a data breach occurs, this new law requires that the processors must notify individuals (data subjects) and data protection authorities of the nature of incidents. This research reviews the U.S. forty six state laws and related acts, and offers a framework for managing incidents. This framework includes five major components: (1) type of personal data required to be reported and notified, (2) the ultimate subject notifying data subjects, (3) event occurrence and notification time phases, (4) notification message details, and (5) direct/indirect communication media. Along with this framework, we also offer directions for effective/manageable guidelines on data breach notification act.

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of sympathetic reactions to public service advertisement video messages produced for health campaigns. To this end, based on the empathy response scale proposed by Campbell & Babrow (2004), the empathy response to the images of nine health campaigns with themes of smoking cessation, tuberculosis, and suicide triggered fear of health risks and health behaviors (information seeking, preventive actions). As a result of the analysis, among the factors of empathy reaction, the reality of the message creative, the match of emotions, and the identification of the characters in the video each played a role in raising fear, and it is rather fear that logically understanding the situation that causes health problems through the health campaign video It was found that it played a role in reducing health information seeking behavior. On the other hand, it was found that the higher the degree of interest, such as sympathy for the characters in the video, among the factors of the sympathetic response to the health campaign, the higher the intention of preventive action to reduce the health risk.

  • With the proliferation of smart phones and the development of IoT technology, it has become possible to collect personal data for public purposes. However, users are afraid of voluntarily providing their private data due to privacy issues. To remedy this problem, mainly three techniques have been studied: data disturbance, traditional encryption, and homomorphic encryption. In this work, we perform simulations to compare them in terms of accuracy, message length, and computation delay. Experiment results show that the data disturbance method is fast and inaccurate while the traditional encryption method is accurate and slow. Similar to traditional encryption algorithms, the homomorphic encryption algorithm is relatively effective in privacy preserving because it allows computing encrypted data without decryption, but it requires high computation costs as well. However, its main cost, arithmetic operations, can be processed in parallel. Also, data analysis using the homomorphic encryption needs to do decryption only once at any number of data.
