KANO모형을 이용한 국가R&D보고서 시스템의 서비스 방안 (Service Plan of National R&D Report System Using KANO Model)

  • 정보시스템을 통해 제공되는 서비스와 사용자 만족간의 관계는 정보시스템의 신규 서비스 개발에 있어서 중요한 사항으로 고려되어 왔다. 본 연구에서는 IT기술변화에 따른 웹 환경변화를 고려하여 국가R&D보고서 서비스에 적용 가능한 12개 핵심 서비스를 도출하였다. 도출된 12개 신규 서비스는 국가R&D보고서 시맨틱검색 서비스, 연관보고서 서비스, RSS 서비스, mesh-up 서비스, topic-map service, open API 서비스, 개인화 서비스, 집단지성 서비스, SNS 서비스, 비정형데이터 서비스, 상세검색 서비스, 메일링 서비스 등이다. 국가R&D 보고서 서비스에서 도출한 12개 신규 서비스의 품질속성을 파악하기 위하여 KANO모형을 이용하여 설문조사를 실시하였다. 설문조사 결과와 서비스별 만족계수 및 서비스 분류결과를 바탕으로 단계별 서비스전략을 제시하였다. 1단계로 추진해야 할 서비스로는 비정형데이터 서비스, 개인화서비스, 연관보고서 서비스, topic-map 서비스, open API 서비스, 집단지성 서비스 등이고, 2단계로 추진해야 할 서비스로는 RSS 서비스, mesh-up 서비스, 국가R&D보고서 시맨틱검색 서비스, 메일링 서비스, 상세검색 서비스, SNS 서비스 등이다.

A Parallel Approach to Navigation in Cities using Reconfigurable Mesh

  • The subject of navigation has drawn a large interest in the last few years. Navigation problem (or path planning) finds the path between two points, source location and destination location. In smart cities, solving navigation problem is essential to all residents and visitors of such cities to guide them to move easily between locations. Also, the navigation problem is very important in case of moving robots that move around the city or part of it to get some certain tasks done such as delivering packages, delivering food, etc. In either case, solution to the navigation is essential. The core to navigation systems is the navigation algorithms they employ. Navigation algorithms can be classified into navigation algorithms that depend on maps and navigation without the use of maps. The map contains all available routes and its directions. In this proposal, we consider the first class. In this paper, we are interested in getting path planning solutions very fast. In doing so, we employ a parallel platform, Reconfigurable mesh (R-Mesh), to compute the path from source location to destination location. R-Mesh is a parallel platform that has very fast solutions to many problems and can be deployed in moving vehicles and moving robots. This paper presents two algorithms for path planning. The first assumes maps with linear streets. The second considers maps with branching streets. In both algorithms, the quality of the path is evaluated in terms of the length of the path and the number of turns in the path.

가시 정보를 이용한 삼각망의 꼬임 찾기 (Finding Self-intersections of a Triangular Mesh by Using Visibility Maps)

  • This paper presents an algorithm for the triangular mesh intersection problem. The key aspect of the proposed algorithm is to reduce the number of triangle pairs to be checked for intersection. To this end, it employs two different approaches, the Y-group approach and the space partitioning approach. Even though both approaches have the same objective of reducing the number of triangular-triangular intersection (TTI) pairs, their inherent characteristics are quite different. While the V-group approach works by topology (reduces TTI pairs by guaranteeing no intersection among adjacent triangles), the space partitioning approach works by geometry (reduces TTI pairs by guaranteeing no intersection among distant triangles). The complementary nature of the two approaches brings substantial improvement in reducing the number TTI pairs.

  • 2D 이미지로부터 카메라의 위치 정보를 추정할 수 있는 Structure-from-Motion (SfM) 기술과 dense depth map 을 추정하는 Multi-view Stereo (MVS) 기술을 이용하여 2D 이미지에서 point cloud 와 같은 3D data 를 얻을 수 있다. 3D data 는 VR, AR, 메타버스와 같은 컨텐츠에 사용되기 위한 핵심 요소이다. Point cloud 는 보통 VR, AR, 메타버스와 같은 많은 분야에 이용되기 위해 mesh 형태로 변환된 후 texture 를 입히는 Texturing 과정이 필요하다. 기존의 Texturing 방법에서는 mesh의 face에 사용될 image의 outlier를 제거하기 위해 color 정보만을 이용했다. Color 정보를 이용하는 방법은 mesh 의 face 에 대응되는 image 의 수가 충분히 많고 움직이는 물체에 대한 outlier 에는 효과적이지만 image 의 수가 부족한 경우와 부정확한 카메라 파라미터에 대한 outlier 에는 부족한 성능을 보인다. 본 논문에서는 Texturing 과정의 view selection 에서 depth 정보를 추가로 이용하여 기존 방법의 단점을 보완할 수 있는 방법을 제안한다.

3차원 메쉬의 효율적인 학습을 위한 삼각형의 면적과 변화를 이용한 로컬 특징맵 (Local Feature Map Using Triangle Area and Variation for Efficient Learning of 3D Mesh)

  • 본 논문에서는 삼각형 구조로 구성된 3차원 메쉬(Mesh)에서 합성곱 신경망(Convolutional Neural Network, CNN)의 정확도를 개선시킬 수 있는 새로운 학습 표현 기법을 제시한다. 우리는 메쉬를 구성하고 있는 삼각형의 넓이와 그 로컬 특징을 기반으로 학습을 진행한다. 일반적으로 딥러닝은 인공신경망을 수많은 계층 형태로 연결한 기법을 말하며, 주요 처리 대상은 오디오 파일과 이미지이었다. 인공지능에 대한 연구가 지속되면서 3차원 딥러닝이 도입되었지만, 기존의 학습과는 달리 3차원 학습은 데이터의 확보가 쉽지 않다. 혼합현실과 메타버스 시장으로 인해 3차원 모델링 시장이 증가가 하면서 기술의 발전으로 데이터를 획득할 수 있는 방법이 생겼지만, 3차원 데이터를 직접적으로 학습 표현하는 방식으로 적용하는 것은 쉽지 않다. 그렇기 때문에 본 논문에서는 산업 현장에서 사용되는 데이터인 삼각형 메쉬 구조를 바탕으로 기존 방법보다 정확도가 높은 학습 기법을 제안한다.

Quadtree를 이용한 절삭 영역 탐색 기법에 관한 연구 (Research of Searching Algorithm for Cutting Region using Quadtree)

  • Z-map model is the most widely used model for NC simulation and verification. But it has several limitations to get a high precision, to apply 5 axis machining simulation. In this paper, we tried to use quadtree for searching cutting region. Quadtree representation of two dimensional objects is performed with a tree that describes the recursive subdivision. By using these quadtree model. storage requirements were reduced. And also, recursive subdivision was processed in the boundries, so, useless computation could be reduced, too. To get more high Accuracy, we applied the supersampling method in the boundaries. The Supersampling method is the most common form of the antialiasing and usually used with polygon mesh rendering in computer graphics To verify quadtree model we compared simulated results with z-map model and enhanced z-map model

Numerical Evaluations of the Effect of Feature Maps on Content-Adaptive Finite Element Mesh Generation

  • Finite element analysis (FEA) is an effective means for the analysis of bioelectromagnetism. It has been successfully applied to various problems over conventional methods such as boundary element analysis and finite difference analysis. However, its utilization has been limited due to the overwhelming computational load despite of its analytical power. We have previously developed a novel mesh generation scheme that produces FE meshes that are content-adaptive to given MR images. MRI content-adaptive FE meshes (cMeshes) represent the electrically conducting domain more effectively with far less number of nodes and elements, thus lessen the computational load. In general, the cMesh generation is affected by the quality of feature maps derived from MRI. In this study, we have tested various feature maps created based on the improved differential geometry measures for more effective cMesh head models. As performance indices, correlation coefficient (CC), root mean squared error (RMSE), relative error (RE), and the quality of cMesh triangle elements are used. The results show that there is a significant variation according to the characteristics of specific feature maps on cMesh generation, and offer additional choices of feature maps to yield more effective and efficient generation of cMeshes. We believe that cMeshes with specific and improved feature map generation schemes should be useful in the FEA of bioelectromagnetic problems.

Modeling of Roads for Vehicle Simulator Using GIS Map Data

  • Recently, vehicle simulators are widely used to evaluate driver s responses and driver assistance systems. It needs much effort to construct the virtual driving environment for a vehicle simulator. In this study, it is described how to make effectively the roads and the driving environment for a vehicle simulator. GIS (Geographic Information System) is used to construct the roads and the environment effectively. Because the GIS is the integrated system of geographical data, it contains useful data to make virtual driving environment. First, boundaries and centerlines of roads are extracted from the GIS. From boundaries, the road width is calculated. Using centerlines, mesh models of roads are constructed. The final graphic model of roads is constructed by mapping road images to those mesh models considering the number of lanes and the kind of surface. Data of buildings from the GIS are extracted. Each shape and height of building is determined considering the kind of building to construct the final graphic model of buildings. Then, the graphic model of roadside trees is constructed to decide their locations. Finally, the driving environment for driving simulator is constructed by converting the three graphic models with the graphic format of Direct-X and by joining the three graphic models.

초속경 라텍스개질 콘크리트의 균열 억제방안 (Crack Prevention of Very-Early Strength Latex-Modified Concrete)

  • An increase in the amount of cracking in repaired concrete bridge decks using VES-LMC(Very Early Strength - Latex Modified Concrete ; below VES-LMC) has been noticed by Yun et al(1). Literature indicates that indeed many concrete bridge decks develop transverse cracking, most developing at early ages(3~7 days), many right after construction. The purpose of this study was to establish prevention of map, transverse and longitudinal cracking in VES-LMC and to provide a control methods for minimizing the occurrence of cracks. The proposed prevention against map and transverse cracking was verified by field applications. VES cement was modified, the unit cement contents was reduced into $360kg/m^3$ from $390kg/m^3$, the maximum size of coarse aggregate was increase into 19mm from 13mm, wire mesh and steel fibers were incorporated in concrete mixture. A series of variable combinations were attempted. As a results, the proposed prevention against map and transverse cracking was verified because no crack were occurred until 90 days after overlay.

Creation of 3D Maps for Satellite Communications to Support Ambulatory Rescue Operations

  • A communications profile is a system that acquires information from communication links to an ambulance or other vehicle moving on a road and compiles a database based on this information. The equipment (six sets of HDTVs, fish-eye camera, satellite antenna with tracking system, and receiving power from the satellite beacon of the N-star) mounted on the roof of the vehicle, image data were obtained at Yokohama Japan. From these data, the polygon of the building was actually produced and has arranged on the map of the Geographical Survey Institute of a 50 m-mesh. The optical study (relationship between visibility rate and elevation angle) were performed on actual data taken by fish-eye lens, and simulated data by 3D-Map with polygons. There was no big difference. This 3D map system then predicts the communication links that will be available at a given location. For line-of-sight communication, optical analysis allows approximation if the frequency is sufficiently high. For non-line-of-sight communication, previously obtained electric power data can be used as reference information for approximation in certain cases when combined with predicted values calculated based on a 3D map. 3D maps are more effective than 2D maps for landing emergency medical helicopters on public roadways in the event of a disaster. Using advanced imaging technologies, we have produced a semi-automatic creation of a high-precision 3D map at Yokohama Yamashita Park and vicinity and assessed its effectiveness on telecommunications and ambulatory merits.
