르네상스 소설에서의 복장전도가 갖는 상징적 의미 (A Symbolic Sense of Transvestism in the Renaissance Novels)

  • This article is concerned about the symbolic meaning of the transvestism Renaissance perspective through analysis of Triumph Over Persecution work and The Merchant of Venice, and Jealous Ioan Tornese. The transvestism is frequently present in the comedies of the golden age. A woman author Maria de Zayas has a special interest in female identity with critical and defying view. Also the subject of the transvestism in Spanish literature originated in Italian tradition. In Italian literature, there were two types of disguised women, who urge for love and warrior-heroine(amazon). Both types are also listed in Spanish literature. The dress-crossing heroine of Triumph Over Persecution displays a type of heroine, who corrects a male prejudice and reset a harmonious order. Shakespeare is also one of the Renaissance writers under the influence of the Italian Renaissance novel. Heroine of Merchant of Venice symbolizes a triumphant challenge against the blocks of the patriarchal system. In spite of the social system blocks, cross-dressing women may receive in the patriarchal scenes without problems. Based on the notion of paradox and irony, the Italian novel reflects popular psychology of the time when the link between the internal identity and social outside puts into question. The cross-dressing Torneses' wife, symbolizes the mockery or renaissance deception. Their deception emphasis on an ironic way in the point view of inhuman man who consider women material belongs to the man without any free-will. The costume of the characters make it possible to change their original identity into the other. From this point of view, we can say that the transvestism in these works could be interpreted in two ways: first, the destruction of the traditional categories of women's identity and second, the burlesque contempt on the patriarchal renaissance society.

수산·해운계 고등학교 제7차 교육과정 각론 개정 연구 (A Study the 7th Revised Curriculum Development for the Fisheries and Merchant Marine High School)

  • This article refers to the processions and the improvement of the 7th revised curriculum development for the Fisheries and Merchant Marine High School, published at Dec. 30, 1997. The general point of the 7th revised curriculum development was to cultivate creative Korean who will lead the epoch of globalization and information and to perform the learner-centered curriculum. Moreover, it defines the nature of Business High School not as completive but as continuing education. Based on this view, the improvment of 7th revised curriculum has been searched in varous sides. The group of general researchers and cooperators consisted of 12 members who were of university professors, teachers, related business men and executives in the administration branches, and the total researchers of 7th revised curriculum development were 90 members. The basic orientation of the research for the revised curriculum development was as following : The improvement of basic ability, job-analysis ability, integrity of theory and practice, acquisition of the certificate of national qualification, interrelation and cooperative role division between school and industrial fields, extension of self-decision ability of school and local society, protection of learner-selection right and maintaining close relations with the business-educational organization under life-long education system. Thus on the whole, the research for educational goals and contents, instructions, learning theory and evaluation is being processed with a high activity, based on the above mentioned plan of 7th revised curriculum development. At the same time, the methods and the models are being investigated. At last, it is to be noted that, in such as the 7th revised curriculum development research in this case, the effort should not be spared to harmonize the basic technological knowledge of the specialists in the Fisheries and Merchant Marine field and the cultural, liberal arts of personality education.

거주상인의 내부적 관점에서 본 재래시장 공간의 장소적 의미 -청량리시장과 황학동시장을 사례로- (Meanings of the Conventional Market Place Derived from the Merchant's Point of View -Based upon the Cases of Chungryangri and Hwanghakdong Market Place-)

  • Based upon the cases of two conventional market places of Seoul (Chungryangri and Hwanghakdong Market0, this study seeks, in mainly the insiders's view, to find out the micro meaning of conventional market places in the city. In-depth interviews for longer than six months were used to get life histories and daily life records from the merchants. From the result of the in-depth interviews, it was found that, for the insider's view, conventional markets are places where lower class people (or people who leave their farm lands for a city) easily settle down, as shoed in the two families' settlement history in the two conventional markets are very much similar to those in their home places. In conclusion, as represented in these two markets, conventional market places are not only the places that provides jobs to their merchants but also the places where the merchants' lives are continued, developed and reproduced. Based upon the both outsider's and insider's views, it is suggested that the recent modernization and redevelopment process to deal with conventional markets should change its direction and search for other solutions.

체형변화에 적합한 X-선 검사대 일체형 Merchant 보조장비의 유용성 평가 (Usefulness Evaluation of Merchant Auxiliary Equipment of Body Type Changing Suitable for X-ray Table Integral Type)

  • 본 연구에서는 인체의 대퇴부 두께에 따른 다양한 무릎뼈의 굴곡각도가 가능하고 사용이 편리한 새로운 보조기구를 개발하고 유용성을 평가하고자 하였다. 검사 대상자는 연구 목적에 동의하고 과거 무릎 관련 질병이 없는 정상인 중 넙다리 둘레가 얇은 A 그룹과 두꺼운 B 그룹을 선발하였다. 무릎뼈의 축방 영상을 획득하기 위해 무릎굴곡각도를 $5^{\circ}$씩 증가시켜 $35^{\circ}$, $45^{\circ}$, $55^{\circ}$로 설정하였으며, 각 각도별로 X-선 입사각도를 $40^{\circ}$, $50^{\circ}$, $60^{\circ}$로 변화시켜 9 개의 검사 조합으로 검사하였다. 그 결과, 사용이 편리하고 체형변화에 적응할 수 있도록 다양한 무릎관절 각도가 가능한 검사대 일체형 무릎뼈 방사선영상검사 보조장비를 개발하였다. 그리고 이 보조장비를 이용하여 A 그룹에서는 무릎굴곡 각도가 $45^{\circ}$에서 X-선 입사 각도가 $60^{\circ}$$50^{\circ}$ 그리고 B 그룹에서는 X-선 입사 각도가 $60^{\circ}$에서 무릎굴곡 각도가 $35^{\circ}$$45^{\circ}$에서 우수한 영상이 도출되었다. 향후 다양한 체형의 환자들의 검사에 매우 유용할 것으로 사료된다.

무릎뼈의 변형된 접선방향 검사 시 최적의 입사각에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Optimal Angle as Modified Tangential Projection of Knee Bones)

  • 본 연구는 무릎뼈의 변형된 접선 방향 검사 시 최적의 입사각에 대해 알아보고자 하였다. 실험은 Kyoto Kagaku사의 PBU-50 phantom을 이용하여 바로 누운 자세에서 넙다리뼈-정강뼈 각도(Femur-tibia angle, F-T angle)를 95°, 105°, 115°, 125°, 135°, 145°로 각각에서 X선 중심선과 정강뼈가 이루는 각도가 5~20° 되도록 5°씩 변경하여(62.5°, 67.5°, 72.5°, 77.5°, 82.5°, 87°, 87.5°) 무릎뼈 접선 방향 영상을 획득하였다. 영상분석을 위해 Image J를 이용하여 Congruence angle, Lateral patellofemoral angle, Patellofemoral index, 대조도 잡음비(Contrast to noise ratio, CNR)를 측정하였다. 통계 분석은 SPSS 22를 이용하여 일원배치분산분석과 대응표본 t-검정으로 Merchant method와 비교하였다. 연구 결과 Congruence angle의 경우 무릎 각도-X선 중심선의 입사각도가 105°-72.5°(20° 접선조사), 115°-72.5°, 77.5°(15, 20° 접선조사), 125°-82.5°(20° 접선조사), Lateral patellofemoral angle은 115°-72.5°, 77.5°(15, 20° 접선조사), 125°-72.5°(10° 접선조사), Patellofemoral index는 115°-72.5°(15° 접선조사), 125°-72.5°(10° 접선조사)에서 Merchant method와 유의한 차이가 없었다(p>.05). CNR의 경우 105°-67.5°, 72.5°(15, 20° 접선조사), 115°-67.5°, 72.5°, 77.5°(10, 15, 20°접선 조사)일 때 Merchant method와 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났다(p>.05). 본 연구의 결과를 통해 무릎뼈의 변형된 접선방향 검사 시 무릎 각도와 X선관의 입사각도를 각각 115°-72.5°(15° 접선 조사)로 설정함으로써 진단적 가치가 높은 영상을 획득할 수 있음을 확인하였다.

선원의 안전활동측면에서 본 선박의 안전관리 수준에 관한 실증연구 (An Empirical Study on the Level of Ship Safety Management in View of Seamen's Safety Activity)

  • In this study, the writer embodies factors influencing on ship safety management by an empirical survey. In the empirical survey, the writer used a questionnaire. 1, 271 proper data was obtained from 4, 240 Korean seamen working in 152 domestic and 60 foreign merchant ships. Reliability was tested by Cronbach's Alpha and a conceptual validity by Factor Analysis. Hypotheses established in this study were tested by Correlation and Multiple Regression Analysis. Results of analysis are as follows: Firstly, three levels(i.e. planning, doing, and evaluation) of safety management and satisfaction level of shipboard life correlate significantly with level of ship safety management and between them(P<0.05) Secondly, satisfaction level of shipboard life, evaluation and planning levels of safety management influence significantly on level of ship safety management(P<0.05).

Towards a Development Strategy for the Recruitment and Retention of Women Seafarers in Cargo Ships with Particular Reference to the Republic of Korea

  • The prime objective set for paper is to identify what are the women seafarers' problems and concerns regarding employment on cargo ships. From the cargo ship point of view, the question then is how to provide sufficient solutions for women seafarers in the male-dominated workplace of the ship through Corporate Social Responsibility(CSR) activities. The methodologies of study combine qualitative and quantitative research methods. The progress of research is to conduct a survey by asking a consistent set of key opinion leaders from the Republic of Korea. Moreover, to evaluate the elements of the result, the research explores the way in which we should consider giving priority to aspects of the problem. Finally, based on the terms of CSR, the author recommends measures to support the needs of women when they are employed onboard the world's merchant vessels.

A Comparative Study on European Container Terminal Operation System

  • As the competition in the liner shipping industry is becoming fiercer, the shipping company is trying to find the way to keep the best competitive position by reducing the cost level as low as possible and offering the best quality of service to their customer. In order to achieve this goal, the selection of port and terminal that have the best quality of service and cost effective structure is essential for the shipping line, where they can only have a chance to save the money. In this context, the paper compares three European container terminals in order to understand the factors that have to be considered in the decision making process for the selection of terminal. And its advantages and disadvantages of each type of container terminal operation system were analyzed from the liner shipping company's point of view in terms of cost, time, flexibility, stability, hinterland connection, geographical position and terminal productivity. It is obvious that the cost factors are very important for liner shipping company to select their terminal. However, there might be even more important factors than the cost factors, such as quality of port and terminal service, mutual trust, and possibility of future development.

  • 선박이 일정속도 이상의 전진속도를 갖일 때의 조종성능 평가법은 지금까지 많이 제안되어 왔으나, 이들을 항만내에서의 다양한 운동모드 즉, 출발, 정지, 후진, 미속조종 등에는 적용에 무리가 있다. 본 연구에서는 출발, 정지, 후진, 미속조종 등을 포함하는 저속항행시의 조종운동 특성의 평가법을 제안하기 위해서, 대각도 횡류각 뿐만 아니라 광범위한 프로펠러 작동하에서의 선체, 프로펠러, 타에 작용하는 유체력의 특성을 수식모형화 하였다. 제안된 수식모형을 이용하여 액화가스 운반선, 대형유조선 두 선박에 대해 저속항행시의 조종운동 시뮬레이션 계산을 수행하여 실선시험 또는 모형시험 결과와 비교, 검토하였다.
