The world wide efforts for detecting gravitational waves, the detectors in vogue and the expected astrophysical sources of gravitational waves will be discussed. Ground based detectors especially, the resonant bar detectors and laser interferometers will be described with a brief mention of the space based detector (the LISA project). Astrophysical sources of gravitational waves such as coalescing binaries, supernovae, pulsars/ rotating neutron stars, stochastic background will be discussed in the context of detection.

The purpose of this paper is to setup reasonable criterion for underwriters to reimburse the expenses of suing and labouring incurred by assured, using game theory. As for the upper limit for the reimbursement, MIA and ICC do not mention at all but stipulate that proper and reasonable expenses shall be reimbursed, while ITC-Hulls set the amount insured as the upper limit to compensate the sum of expenses and damage loss. And as for failed measures of averting and minimizing loss, MIA and ICC do not mention either, while ITC-Hulls stipulates underwriters shall compensate the expenses and damage loss within the amount insured. The main results of this paper are as follows: First, it is for the benefit of underwriters to reimburse the expenses incurred to take such reasonable measures to avert or minimizing a loss which would be recoverable under the insurance. Second, the expenses of single measure should not be above the amount insured. Third, even if the measures failed, the expense should be reimbursed if it is less than the expected value of the subject-matter insured that could be recovered by the measures. Last, if the measures are taken several times individually, even if the sum of expenses might be above the amount insured, it should be reimbursed.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the elementary school teachers' perception about the aquatic ecosystem restoration and confirm their ideas about factors for successful restoration and the effective direction of education for the aquatic ecosystem restoration. In order to analyze teachers' thoughts about the aquatic ecosystem restoration, in-depth interview was conducted to three elementary school teachers. Then, answers of them were transcribed and analyzed by similarities and differences among subjects. The results are as follows. Elementary school teachers thought about aquatic ecosystem restoration was divided into rehabilitation and remediation. They recognized that factors for successful restoration are the restoration to natural conditions, providing persistent benefit to local residents, and the participation of local community in the process of restoration. Teachers think that they must have correct knowledge and perception regarding the aquatic ecosystem restoration. They also think that contents about the aquatic ecosystem restoration should be taught in elementary school. They mention that they may leach students about the aquatic ecosystem restoration in discretionary activities class and extracurricular activities class. They also mention that the education for aquatic ecosystem restoration might be handled within diverse subjects.

Big data has recently been used in various industries such as tourism, medical care, distribution, and marketing. And it is evolving to the stage of collecting real-time information or analyzing correlations and predicting the future. In the tourism industry, big data can be used to identify the size and shape of the tourism market, and by building and utilizing a large-capacity database, it is possible to establish an efficient marketing strategy and provide customized tourism services for tourists. This paper has begun with anticipation of the effects that would occur when big data is actively used in the tourism field. Because the method of use must have applicability and practicality, the spatial scope will be limited to Seosan, Chungcheongnam-do, and research will be conducted. In this paper, to improve the quality of tourism courses by collecting and analyzing the number of mention data and sentiment index data on social media, which reflect the tourist's interest, preference and satisfaction. Therefore, it is used as basic data necessary for the development of new local tourism courses in the future. In addition, the development of tourism courses will be able to promote tourism growth and also revitalizing the local economy.

상호참조해결은 주어진 문서에서 멘션을 추출하고 동일한 개체의 멘션들을 군집화하는 작업이다. 기존 상호참조해결 연구의 멘션탐지 단계에서 진행한 가지치기는 모델이 계산한 점수를 바탕으로 순위화하여 정해진 비율의 멘션만을 상호참조해결에 사용하기 때문에 잘못 예측된 멘션을 입력하거나 정답 멘션을 제거할 가능성이 높다. 또한 멘션 탐지와 상호참조해결을 종단간 모델로 진행하여 학습 시간이 오래 걸리고 모델 복잡도가 높은 문제가 존재한다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 상호참조해결을 2단계 파이프라인 모델로 진행한다. 첫번째 멘션 탐지 단계에서 후보 단어 범위의 점수를 계산하여 멘션을 예측한다. 두번째 상호참조해결 단계에서는 멘션 탐지 단계에서 예측된 멘션을 그대로 이용해서 서로 상호참조 관계인 멘션 쌍을 예측한다. 실험 결과, 2단계 학습 방법을 통해 학습 시간을 단축하고 모델 복잡도를 축소하면서 종단간 모델과 유사한 성능을 유지하였다. 상호참조해결은 Light에서 68.27%, AMI에서 48.87%, Persuasion에서 69.06%, Switchboard에서 60.99%의 성능을 보였다.

글로벌 금융위기의 영향으로 세계 각국은 이사보수의 적정성과 투명성의 제고를 위하여 노력을 기울이고 있다. 독일, 미국, 영국, 프랑스, 이탈리아. 일본 등에서는 이미 일정 수준 이상의 상장기업이나 금융기관들이 평균이 아닌 개인별 이사의 보수를 공시하고 있다. 그러나 우리나라의 경우 임원보수공시 제도는 여전히 임원 전체의 보수 총액만을 공시하도록 하고 있으며, 보수 기준이나 책정 절차 등에 대한 공시는 이루어지지 않고 있는 실정이다. 이처럼 불투명한 임원 보수 산정체계를 개선하고자 민주노동당 이정희 의원이 2009년 3월 12일 개별 임원의 보수를 공시하도록 하는 내용의 "자본시장과 금융투자업에 관한 법률 일부개정법률안"을 제시하였다. 재계는 우수인재 영입 위축, 회사의 기밀누설의 우려, 프라이버시 침해와 노사관계 악화 그리고 이사보수의 하향평준화를 가져와 경영자의 경영의욕이 떨어질 것이라는 점 등을 우려해 개인별 이사의 보수를 공개하는 것을 반대하고 있다. 지배주주가 임원보수 명목으로 우회배당하거나 회사 재산을 처분하는 등 사익을 추구할 수도 있기 때문에 이를 견제하기 위해서는 주요 선진국의 입법례처럼 개인별 이사의 보수를 공개하는 것을 강제할 필요가 있다. 이러한 개인별 이사의 보수 공개 의무화를 통하여 주주의 경영자 견제 수단의 하나인 상법 제388조가 유명무실하게 되는 것을 막을 수 있고 이사보수 산정의 투명성과 적정성을 확보할 수 있다.

Many small-sized real-time kernels do not provide memory management and device drivers, not to mention file management. In this paper, we propose a design and implementation of TCP/IP protocol stack for such small real-time kernels based on [6] where we studied issues to be considered for porting the functionalities of TCP/IP for such small real-time kernels.

We establish some new ostrowski type inequalities for MT-convex function including first order derivative via Niemann-Trouvaille fractional integral. It is interesting to mention that our results provide new estimates on these types of integral inequalities for MT-convex functions.

Gator Szego was one of the most brilliant Mathematicians. Mathematical science owes him several fundamental contributions in such fields as theory of functions of a complex variables, conformal mapping, Fourier series, theory of orthogonal polynomials, and many others. He wrote the famous Polya-Szego Problems and Theorem in Analysis which is the two volume of concentrated mathematical beauty. In this paper, we mention Szego's life, Szego's work, and Szego reproducing kernel.
