The current air transportation industry is facing a lot of changes not only in the quantitative growth of the market, but also in the legal aspects. For many years, the Warsaw Convention has contributed to the uniform discipline of civil carriers' legal liabilities arising from international aviation accident and has fulfilled the duties of legal guardians for the development of the air transport industry. In the process, however, the consumer interests of the air transport industry did not have much protection compared to other industries. In response, the Montreal Convention has effected for protecting the interests of aviation consumers, and there are numerous legal changes around the world to protect aviation consumers like passengers. The mental damages of airline passengers arising from the accident can also be understood as part of the protection of air consumers. Considering that the US Federal Court has dealt with the recognition of mental damages for air passengers since the early 1990s. However, Korean judicial precedent still excludes mental anguishes from the scope of damage compensation. From this point of view, it is considered academically meaningful to analyze the latest case of the US federal court. Recently, the United States Court of Appeal for the Sixth Circuit in Doe v Etihad Airways applied a different interpretation against the traditional opinion: passengers could not recover for mental distress unless that mental distress resulted from a bodily injury sustained in an airplane accident. The background of the court's conclusions can be explained in many ways, among other things, unlike the Warsaw Convention the new international rule, Montreal Convention is recognizing the importance of ensuring protection of the interests of consumers in international carriage by air and the need for equitable compensation based on the principle of restitution.

The mental foramen and anterior loop of the mandibular canal are important landmarks for mandibular surgical procedures. The purpose of this study was to analyze the shape and position of the mental foramen and anterior loop of the mandibular canal on the computed tomography (CT) images, and apply the results clinically. CT images of 96 patients (33 male, 36 female, age range 17~43 years, mean $24.6{\pm}4.99$ years) were enrolled. The horizontal and vertical position of the mental foramen, as well as the distance from the root apices were measured. The distance of the anterior loop of the mandibular canal to the root apices, and the buccal angle were measured. The mental foramen was found mostly below the second premolar observed in 81 cases (46.0%), between the first and second premolars in 67 cases (38.0%), and between the second premolar and first molar in 19 cases (10.2%). The mean distance between the mental foramen and the lower border of the mandible was $12.20{\pm}1.77$ mm, the mean distance between the mental foramen and root apex was $5.16{\pm}0.98$ mm. The mean distance of the anterior loop of the mandibular canal was $5.80{\pm}2.00$ mm. The buccal angle measured at $47.7{\pm}9.07^{\circ}$. The distance between the root apex and mental foramen measured as $5.16{\pm}0.98$ mm on panoramic radiography, and $6.2{\pm}3.07$ mm on CT. The mean distance between the mental foramen and mandibular canal was $5.39{\pm}1.62$ mm. When performing surgical procedures such as installing dental implants, it is important to minimize surgical trauma, especially the risk of damage to the mental nerve. To optimize the surgical outcome, a careful assessment of the shape and position of the mental foramen and the anterior loop of the mandibular canal must be made. CT images are useful for finding such anatomic structures.

Objectives to study definition and treatment of dizziness in the books of Cold damage which are classified as symptoms of all time. Methods 1. Quote provisions related to dizziness in "Sanghanlon(傷寒論)" 2. Among the books of Cold damage which are classified as symptoms, select 19 literatures on dizziness with table of contents and collect data and categorize in two perspectives on theories and disease pattern. 3. Compare and draw a chart all data collected in above methods. Results & Conclusions 1. In the books on Cold damage, dizziness is expressed in 2 ways such as head dizziness(頭眩) and fainting(鬱冒). fainting is much more several symptoms than head dizziness and it is the difference that it has mental confusion. 2. The cause of head dizziness after promoting sweating, vomiting and purgation is that source qi(元氣) of upper energizer(上焦) is deficiency, and cause of head dizziness before using method of treatment is wind(風), heat(熱), phlegm(痰), blood deficiency(血虛) and etc. 3. Main cause of fainting is that deficiency is getting severe so that cold invades, and symptoms are blood deficiency, after giving birth and excess pattern of fire and heat. 4. Remedies for head dizziness are using Yeonggyechulgam-tang(苓桂朮甘湯), jinmu-tang(眞武湯), sosiho-tang(小柴胡湯), sagunja-tang(四君子湯), samul-tang(四物湯) and etc. 5. Insamsambaek-tang (人蔘三白湯) and Sayeok-tang(四逆湯) are used for deficiency pattern of fainting, and Dojeok-san(導赤散), Daeseunggi-tang(大承氣湯), and Hwangryeonhaedok-tang(黃連解毒湯) are used for excess pattern(實證).
Cerebral palsy is a non-progressive disorder resulting from central nervous system damage caused by multiple factors. Almost all cerebral palsy patients have a movement disorder that makes dental treatment difficult. Oral hygiene management is difficult and the risks for periodontitis, dental caries and loss of multiple teeth are high. Placement of dental implants for multiple missing teeth in cerebral palsy patients needs multiple rounds of general anesthesia, and the prognosis is poor despite the expense. Therefore, making the decision to perform multiple dental implant treatments on cerebral palsy patients is difficult. A 33-year-old female patient with cerebral palsy and mental retardation was scheduled for multiple implant treatments. She underwent computed tomography (CT) under sedation and the operation of nine dental implants under general anesthesia. Implant-supported fixed prosthesis treatment was completed. During follow-up, she had the anterior incisors extracted and underwent the surgery of 3 additional dental implants, completing the prosthetic treatment. Although oral parafunctions existed due to cerebral palsy, no implant failure was observed 9 years after the first implant surgery.
Purpose: Meager research has been carried out to determine the effectiveness of the token economy among patients behaving violently in mental hospitals. The purpose of this study was to examine the effectiveness of the Short-Term Token Economy (STTE) on violent behavior among chronic psychiatric in-patients. Methods: A nonequivalent control group design method was utilized. Participants in an experimental group (n=22) and control group (n=22) took part in this study from January to April, 2008. Observation on aggressive behavior among male in-patients in one hospital as a baseline was made during the week before the behavior modification program and measurement of aggressive behavior was done using the Overt Aggression Scale (OAS), which includes verbal attacks, property damage and physical attacks. Results: The aggressive behavior scores of the experimental group decreased, those of the control group, scores showed an increase after the eight-week behavior modification program utilizing STTE. Conclusion: The results of the study indicate that STTE is effective in reducing the incidence of aggressive behavior among male in-patients in psychiatric hospitals. The outcome of this study should be helpful in reducing the use of coercive measures or psychoactive medication in controlling the violent behavior among in-patients in hospitals.

By statistics in August, 2007, currently Korean motors registration number broke through 16 million units. The demand of motors is being increased as time goes on and the demand of parking lot within apartment complex is increased together. Therefore, it is inevitable to expand underground parking lots. Underground parking lots have relatively weaker environment than the ground and physical/psychological problems as distance far away from the main building, fear for vehicle damage and crimes, impure air, darkness and closed feeling take place. Underground parking lots also occupy a lot of area ratio within apartment complex and have a lot of effects on other facilities. Therefore, underground parking lots are neglected for all that underground parking lots have deep relations with satisfaction for public space within apartment complex. Accordingly, the purpose of the study is to make reference materials when underground parking lots are planned by grasping satisfaction of underground parking lots through inhabitants'mental survey and surveying preferential location and requirements of parking lots.

Since the aircraft has a property of moving in the three-dimensional space, it may cause personally and financially critical damage in the case of an accident. Among the causes of aircraft accident, human factor has occupied about 70% of all accidents. Specially, fatigue among human's problems has been studied earlier than any other factor. Fatigue has been the cause of 75% of accidents that are related to human factor. So many studies have been conducted. But the direction of these studies mainly attach importance to the sleep loss and circadian rhythm. Limitation for flight time of ICAO is 8 hours per day, civil airlines in domestic line also adopt the limitation. But this rule is not based on human's performance but compromise between labor and management. The long-haul flight brings about a mental block to pilot. This mental block decreases performance of pilot and loses a lot of important information. So this may cause many accidents. This paper is to offer optimal flight time according to the amount of fatigue due to increasing flight time. The optimal flight time is searched through the field experiment. The experiment has adopted two methods. One is to examine pilot's objective fatigue accumulation rate through the critical fusion frequency, and another is to investigate pilot's subjective fatigue feeling through the fatigue subjective symptoms investigation table.
The number of disasters caused by natural or human-made events such as earthquakes, tsunamis, floods, typhoons, industrial disasters, and the recent outbreak of COVID-19 has increased and the damage caused by such disasters is increasing every year. Disasters can cause physical destruction and also have unexpected psychological impacts, such as post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Ear acupuncture is a treatment modality that can be helpful for both physical and mental health problems. Since ear acupuncture is a cost-effective, flexible, and safe treatment tool, it has the potential to provide medical assistance in disasters. The National Acupuncture Detoxification Association (NADA) auricular acupuncture protocol, originally developed for addiction treatment, has been used for mental illness and behavioral symptoms in both community health settings and in a variety of disaster, terror, and refugee settings. In this review, we introduced the NADA protocol, including its history, features, training, clinical evidence, and cases in disaster settings, suggesting that the NADA protocol could be utilized as a disaster medical support model in Korean medicine.
Objectives: The purpose of this study was to identify the characteristics of mind-body medicine revealed in the Sa-sang constitutional medicin. Methods: This study examined the psychosomatic aspects of "DongUiSuSeBoWon" that Lee Je-ma wrote about the Sa-sang constitutional medicine, comparing them to Neo-Confucianism and Oriental medicine. Results: Sa-sang constitutions contain much content that can be applied to mind-body medicine. Conclusions: First, the principle of disease caused by mental and physical connections was clearly suggested, as it was considered that when emotions of joy, sorrow, and pleasure reach their peak, they cause fatal damage to the body. Second, it was encouraged to prevent diseases by giving specific examples to prevent the prejudice of the methodology of looking back when it hasn't happened yet and the feeling of anger and joy before the emotions of joy and sorrow are revealed. Third, it suggested the treatment of mental and physical diseases using drugs for diseases that have already occurred and psychiatric methods.

Objectives: The purpose of this study is to identify the problems of verbal violence that adolescents face in the post-human age, when the non-face-to-face media is increasing. Methods: A survey was conducted on 305 adolescents, aged 14 to 16 years of middle school and high school students. The data were analyzed with the SPSS 25.0. Results: As a result of conducting multiple regression analysis to identify the type of conversation that affects verbal abuse of adolescents, a model with a conversation with family, conversation with other people, messenger conversation such as KakaoTalk, and video chat conversation was selected. The amount of explanation was 11.4%. (R2 = .114) Of these, non-face-to-face conversations have been shown to increase verbal violence, and face-to-face conversations with family have, in turn, lowered the risk. As a result of t-testing to examine the effect of verbal abuse experience on the verbal violence index, the damage experience was significant in depression (p = .042) and impulsive aggression (p = .021). (P = .000). Conclusion: This study reiterates the importance of family dialogue along with the fact that the development of various non-face-to-face media in the Fourth Industrial Revolution can have a negative impact on adolescent mental health.
