In this paper, we focuses on the development of Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) fuzzy modeling in a nonlinear container crane system. A T-S fuzzy model is characterized by fuzzy "if-then" rules which represent the locally input-output relationship whose consequence part is described by a state space equation as subsystem. The T-S fuzzy model in container cranes first obtains a few number of linear models according to operation conditions and blends these conditions using fuzzy membership functions. Parameters of the membership functions are adjusted by a RCGA to have same dynamic characteristics with nonlinear system of a container crane. Simulations are given to illustrate the performance of T-S fuzzy model.

Ultrasound images for the abdominal muscles are complicated enough to have difficulty in interpreting their results. For better interpretation, magnifying the original image is necessary but its magnified image could be deteriorated and suffer from information loss. Thus, in this paper, we propose a magnifying method that reduces the gap between the original image and the magnified one in quality using a fuzzy method with weights for its brightness and interpolation. The proposed method extracts information of pixels in magnified image that have most similar characteristics of the original one by applying fuzzy membership function. In the process, the difference in the brightness between pixels of the magnified image and the original one using bilinear interpolation method and the weight value using the interpolation from multiplied values of four pixels are supplied to the fuzzy membership function. In this experiment, the proposed method reduces the cloudy phenomenon appears commonly compared to the bilinear interpolation method among those qualitative issues of image interpretation.

Distribution structure is the link between a society's needs and its industrial responses. A change in distribution structure brings about a consumption structure which may results in considerable changes in lifestyle including food habits. The purpose of this study was to evaluate a effect of change of distribution structure on the food purchase. The survey was carried from May to June, 1997 by way of questionnaire of 407 housewives, aged 23-64 years, in Seoul and the capital area. The questionaire consists of sociodemographic characteristics of the subjects and distribution channel, information route of food selection, acknowledgement and coefficient of utilization of new distribution channel, mainly used distribution channel in food purchase, important factors in food selection, and food purchasing behavior. Their data were statistically analyzed based on frequency, mean, and $X^2-test$. The major findings of this study were as follows; 1) Most frequently used distribution channels in food purchase were supermarket(38.53%), department store(15.23%), discount store(14.05%), a conventional retail market(13.87%), membership wholesale club(8.07%), and a conventional wholesale market(6.53%). 2) The new distribution channels that subjects have ever used were discount store(75.4% of the subject), membership wholesale club(63%), mail order house(32%), outlet store(29.4%), home shopping(10.3%). 3) Compared to the subject living far from the new distribution channel, the subject living close to the new distribution channel was higher in frequency of new distribution channel utilization. These observations suggest that change of the distribution structure promotes the change of the food purchasing behavior.

This paper presents the intelligent tracking method for maneuvering target using the positional error compensation of the maneuvering target. The difference between measured point and predict point is separated into acceleration and noise. K-means clustering and TS fuzzy system are used to get the optimal acceleration value. The membership function is determined for acceleration and noise which are divided by K-means clustering and the characteristics of the maneuvering target is figured out. Divided acceleration and noise are used in the tracking algorithm to compensate computational error. While calculating expected value, the non-linearity of the maneuvering target is recognized as linear one by dividing acceleration and the capability of Kalman filter is kept in the filtering process. The error for the non-linearity is compensated by approximated acceleration. The proposed system improves the adaptiveness and the robustness by adjusting the parameters in the membership function of fuzzy system. Procedures of the proposed algorithm can be implemented as an on-line system. Finally, some examples are provided to show the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.
The paradigm of health promotion requests community participation and its active problem-solving. Community is conceptualized as a resource pool to be organized. Such resource is called community capacity. Community participation is a process of capacity building. Community voluntary associations are considered as valuable resource to be used for health promotion. This paper tried to identify the network structure among community voluntary associations and to infer the possibility to make such network of organizations participate in health promotion programs. Two survey data were used for this research: 1) Measurements and Evaluations of Community Capacity on Dobong-gu (N=94) 2) A development plan of health medicine service to be Healthy Gangdong-gu (N=69). The questionnaire included such variables measuring community capacity as leadership, membership, organizational resources, and inter-organizational network, etc. Both regions had the following common characteristics: 1) There were positive correlations between the organization's budget and membership. 2) Organizational types were associated with their founded years. Two regions showed the following differences: Dobong displayed the high density of community organizations, but Gangdong showed the low density. Dobong community organizations were able to be classified into three network clusters such as women & environments, youth & adolescent, and sports organizations. Each cluster of organizations favored the different type of health promotion programs. Gangdong community organizations were less developed, and not possible to be clustered. Depending upon the level of community capacity or community organizations' differentiation, the strategy of community participation could be settle down in different ways. Particularly the health agency had to pay more attention to support the growth of civil organizations.

In this paper, we introduce an inference system using hard scatter partition method and model the nonlinear process. To do this, we use the hard scatter partition method that partition the input space in the scatter form with the value of the membership degree of 0 or 1. The proposed method is implemented by C-Means clustering algorithm. and is used for the initial center values by means of binary split. by applying the LBG algorithm to compensate for shortcomings in the sensitive initial center value. Hard-scatter-partitioned input space forms the rules in the rule-based system modeling. The premise parameters of the rules are determined by membership matrix by means of C-Means clustering algorithm. The consequence part of the rules is expressed in the form of polynomial functions and the coefficient parameters of each rule are determined by the standard least-squares method. The data widely used in nonlinear process is used to model the nonlinear process and evaluate the characteristics of nonlinear process.

Recently, studying chaotic dynamic have been concerned by many researchers in areas of physics, chemistry, mathematics, engineering and social science. Especially, model of addiction, happiness, family and love become major research subjects in the social science. Among these models, love is one of the four emotions that human being have. There are many definitions for love, however, each definitions of love does not coincide with each other. Recently, one of the most important efforts for research is love and it is represented by derivative equation. Then they try to find nonlinear or chaotic behavior from this derivative equation. This paper propose Gaussian fuzzy membership function in order to make external force that are close to action and awareness of human based on love model of Romeo and Juliet with external force. This paper also confirms the existence of nonlinear characteristics through time series and phase portrait.

We present an analysis of the chemical abundances and kinematics of six low-mass dwarf stars, previously claimed to be candidate hypervelocity stars (HVSs). We obtained moderate-resolution (R ~ 6000) spectra of these stars to estimate the abundances of several chemical elements (Mg, Si, Ca, Ti, Cr, Fe, and Ni), and derived their space velocities and orbital parameters using proper motions from the Gaia Data Release 2. All six stars are shown to be bound to the Milky Way, and in fact are not even considered high-velocity stars with respect to the Galactic rest frame. Nevertheless, we attempt to characterize their parent Galactic stellar components by simultaneously comparing their element abundance patterns and orbital parameters with those expected from various Galactic stellar components. We find that two of our program stars are typical disk stars. For four stars, even though their kinematic probabilistic membership assignment suggests membership in the Galactic disk, based on their distinct orbital properties and chemical characteristics, we cannot rule out exotic origins as follows. Two stars may be runaway stars from the Galactic disk. One star has possibly been accreted from a disrupted dwarf galaxy or dynamically heated from a birthplace in the Galactic bulge. The last object may be either a runaway disk star or has been dynamically heated. Spectroscopic follow-up observations with higher resolution for these curious objects will provide a better understanding of their origin.
Along with the development of overall internet service, online fashion communities appeared and have started to thrive. The growth of mobile service has led to an even bigger expansion of these communities, and will wield a strong influence for the foreseeable future. The purpose of our study is to investigate the relationship between the behavior of these fashion communities and personality characteristics of the community features. For our data analysis, our study used 302 men and women, aged from their 20's and their 40's. The study results are as follows: First, some features, such as interaction, entertainment, promotion, information, and system technique, were drawn as the factors of the online fashion communities. Second, we could divide the community behavioral types into three different groups: buyer, maven, and onlooker groups. Third, all three groups showed different community characteristics. The primary concern for the buyer group was promotion while the mavens and the on-lookers were most interested in information. Fourth, they also showed different demographic characteristics in terms of gender, age, duration of membership, on-line time per visit and number of visits per week. These results show that a new strategy is necessary for online fashion communities to differentiate themselves and their marketing to consumers and their community behavioral types.
