공조설비 운전방법 및 시설개선을 통한 에너지절약 효과분석 (An Analysis of the Energy Saving Effect Through the Retrofit and the Optimal Operation for HVAC Systems)

  • The major goal of building energy management is to minimize the energy consumption while maintaining the comfortable environment condition. Nowadays building energy management to save HVAC energy and so on is the most critical issue for existing building service branch with high efficiency equipments and their optimal operation. The effects on the building energy savings of the building equipment retrofit and the improvement of its operation method, especially in the field of HVAC system, were analyzed in this study for domestic small and/or medium sized buildings. Over 8.8% of energy saving was achieved compared withe total energy consumption in commercial building. These results could be used for reasonable maintenance and efficient management of the various building service equipments and related systems.

  • Facing the challenges of urban form and space quality in a high-density environment, the paper puts forward the development trend of three-dimensional and multi-functional design for an urban high-rise complex, and analyzes the design methods of establishing an urban landmark, including multi-functional composition, three-dimensional space integration, three-dimensional traffic organization and energy flow programming. Meanwhile, combined with the specific design case of Yiwu World Trade Center, the practical experience of designing a high-rise complex in China's medium-sized cities is analyzed.

소형주택의 건설 프로세스 개선방향에 관한 연구 -전문가 집단을 중심으로- (A Study on Improvement Direction for Construction Environment of Small Houses -Focused on Expert Group-)

  • 소형주택은 2009년 완화된 주택법 이후 꾸준히 공급되어져 오고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 소형주택 시공 관련 전문가 집단을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 문제점을 도출하여 개선방안을 제시하고자 하였다. 첫째, 저가수주는 불리한 계약의 주요 원인이며 수주실적관리를 위해 저가수주를 하고 있었다. 저가입찰 및 저가수주는 건설 업체 유지를 위해 계약하게 되고 결국 건축물 안전 환경까지 위협하게 되는 것이다. 또한 적절한 기간의 입찰 및 공사 기간이 주어져야 할 것으로 판단된다. 둘째, 시공 프로세스를 준수하지 못한 사례가 많아, 중소건설업체의 업무 표준화가 필요한 상황이며, 관련 내용을 인지하지 못한 실무자가 많아 정기적인 교육이 필요한 것으로 판단된다. 셋째, 현재 가장 필요한 정책 방향에 대해 저가입찰 지양과 부실업체 시장퇴출이 가장 높게 나타났다. 안전 환경을 위해 저가입찰과 부실업체에 대한 개선이 필요하다고 판단된다. 대부분 소형주택을 짓는 중소건설업체는 업무 여건이 열악하다. 따라서 업무에 대한 표준화와 저가수주 지양으로 소형주택의 안전 환경을 제고해야 할 것이다.

건물의 냉난방 운전을 고려한 3차원 동적 지중 열교환기 열해석 모델 (Three-dimensional Equivalent Transient Ground Heat Exchanger Thermal Analysis Model by Considering Heating and Cooling Operations in Buildings)

  • Application of geothermal energy in buildings has been gaining popularity as it provides the benefits of both heating and cooling a building. Among the various types of geothermal energy systems, ground-coupled heat pump system is the most commonly applied one in South Korea. A ground heat exchanger plays an important role as a heat source in winter and a heat sink in summer. For the stable operation of a ground-coupled heat pump system, a ground heat exchanger should be sized so that it provides sufficient heating and cooling energy. Heating and cooling energies generated in ground heat exchangers mainly depend on the temperature difference between the heating medium in ground heat exchangers and the surrounding ground. In addition, the performance of ground heat exchangers influences the change in ground temperature. Therefore, it is necessary to consider this interrelation between the change in the ground temperature and the performance of ground heat exchanger for an accurate estimation of its performance. However, previous thermal analysis models for ground heat exchangers are not competent enough to allow a complete understanding of this interrelation. Therefore, this study proposes a three-dimensional equivalent, transient ground heat exchanger analysis model. First, a previous thermal analysis model for ground heat exchangers, including an analytical model, a g-function, and a numerical model are analyzed. Next, to overcome the limitations of the previous models, a three-dimensional equivalent, transient ground heat exchanger model is proposed. Finally, this study validated the proposed model with the measurement data of the thermal response test, sandbox test, and TRNSYS DST model. All validation results showed a good agreement. These findings helped us to investigate the thermal performance of ground heat exchangers more accurately than the analytical models, and faster than the numerical models. Furthermore, the proposed model contributes to the design of ground heat exchangers by considering the different operation conditions of buildings.

The effects of foundation size on the seismic performance of buildings considering the soil-foundation-structure interaction

  • Shallow footings are one of the most common types of foundations used to support mid-rise buildings in high risk seismic zones. Recent findings have revealed that the dynamic interaction between the soil, foundation, and the superstructure can influence the seismic response of the building during earthquakes. Accordingly, the properties of a foundation can alter the dynamic characteristics (natural frequency and damping) of the soil-foundation-structure system. In this paper the influence that shallow foundations have on the seismic response of a mid-rise moment resisting building is investigated. For this purpose, a fifteen storey moment resisting frame sitting on shallow footings with different sizes was simulated numerically using ABAQUS software. By adopting a direct calculation method, the numerical model can perform a fully nonlinear time history dynamic analysis to realistically simulate the dynamic behaviour of soil, foundation, and structure under seismic excitations. This three-dimensional numerical model accounts for the nonlinear behaviour of the soil medium and structural elements. Infinite boundary conditions were assigned to the numerical model to simulate free field boundaries, and appropriate contact elements capable of modelling sliding and separation between the foundation and soil elements are also considered. The influence of foundation size on the natural frequency of the system and structural response spectrum was also studied. The numerical results for cases of soil-foundation-structure systems with different sized foundations and fixed base conditions (excluding soil-foundation-structure interaction) in terms of lateral deformations, inter-storey drifts, rocking, and shear force distribution of the structure were then compared. Due to natural period lengthening, there was a significant reduction in the base shears when the size of the foundation was reduced. It was concluded that the size of a shallow foundation influences the dynamic characteristics and the seismic response of the building due to interaction between the soil, foundation, and structure, and therefore design engineer should carefully consider these parameters in order to ensure a safe and cost effective seismic design.

  • 2010년 인구주택총조사 결과로 가장 변화가 심하게 나타난 내용으로는 가구구조변화와 1인 가구의 지속적 증가였다. 이로 인하여 주택시장은 다음과 같은 변화가 예상된다. 첫째, 4인 가구 중심에서 2인 가구 중심으로 변화는 중대형아파트 중심에서 중소형아파트 중심으로 주택시장이 개편될 것이다. 둘째, 1인 가구 비중의 지속적인 증가는 임대시장의 지속적인 확대가 예상된다. 셋째, 1인 가구 비중의 지속적인 증가로 소비자의 니즈에 부합한 다가구 원룸주택, 오피스텔, 도시형생활주택 등 다양한 임대시장이 호황시대가 올 것이다.

  • Whereas recent domestic buildings and industrial facilities are being constructed as large as possible, the daylighting systems for the large space have rarely been developed. Domestic situation has been reported as only several small or medium sized daylighting systems have been developed, and the large scaled systems have entirely being imported from abroad. We have developed a large scaled daylighting system for the big space. The developed system have been evaluated in terms of the average system efficiency and daylighting factor. Each results are shown with tabulated experimental data.

시스템 히트펌프의 용량조절 및 다변수 제어 특성에 관한 연구 (The Performance of Capacity Modulation and MIMO Control for System Heat Pump)

  • A system heat pump provides the benefits of comfort, energy conservation and easy maintenance. Recently, the system heat pump has been employed in small and medium-sized buildings. However, the performance data and control algorithm for system heat pump are limited in literature due to complicated system parameters and operating conditions. In the present study, the performance of a system heat pump with two indoor unit is measured by varying indoor loads, EEV opening, and compressor speed. In addition, the integral optimum regulator which includes MIMO control algorithm is proposed. The capacity modulation and optimum capacity for each indoor unit can be adjusted by utilizing the EEVs opening and compressor speed. The proposed scheme shows appropriate control performance at test conditions.

영주 근대역사문화거리의 근대건축물 유형분류 및 활용제안 (The Usage and Classification of Modern Architecture Types in the Modern Historical and Cultural Street of Yeongju)

  • In 2018, the Cultural Heritage Administration of Korea introduced a new system that registers national cultural heritage in street and district units. Yeongju City's Modern Historical and Cultural District was selected as the first trial region. This grouping method breaks through conservation and utilization limitations of cultural heritage in individual building units. Thus, the issue is how will such historical and cultural spaces be grouped, conserved and managed. Hence, this study identifies the current situation of buildings in the Modern Historical and Cultural Street of Yeongju and conducts an experimental survey. Based on this, the types of modern architecture were classified, and the architectural groups were extracted and categorized to preserve and utilize the architecture. For these purposes, priority groups were determined by evaluating them based on five criteria: archetype, placeness, politicalness, typicality and originality. The modern architecture in the Modern Historical and Cultural Street of Yeongju have undergone many changes. The residential transformation of small and medium-sized cities during modern times can be understood as a process of settlement and nativization.

오피스 가격경사계수를 이용한 서울시 도시공간구조 변화 분석 (Dynamic Changes of Urban Spatial Structure in Seoul: Focusing on a Relative Office Price Gradient)

  • 오늘날 오피스 임차수요 급증에 따른 임대료 가격의 분포와 서울시 도시공간구조 변화 행태와 연관성을 띄는지에 대해 연구 필요성이 제기되고 있다. 따라서 본 연구의 목적은 오피스 가격경사계수를 토대로 영향력을 추정하고, 도시공간구조의 동태적 변화를 계량적으로 설명할 수 있는 시계열 모형을 제시하는 것이다. 이를 규명하기 위해 금융위기 이후 2010년부터 2019년말 까지 서울시를 대상으로 지난 10년간 분기별 오피스 임대료 시세를 이용하고, 실증분석 방법론으로 수정반복매매모형을 채택하였다. 본 연구의 주된 결과를 간단히 요약·정리하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 권역별 오피스 가격경사계수 추정결과, 공통적으로 도심권은 영향력 변동이 거의 없이 일정 수준을 유지한 반면, 강남과 여의도권의 영향력은 지속적으로 증가하였다. 이 사실은 전통적인 도심이 쇠퇴 또는 정체기 진입을, 강남과 여의도권은 꾸준한 성장세속에 부상하며 기능 분화가 이루어져, 종전 1도심 위주의 단핵에서 3대 핵심 고용 중심지의 다핵구조로 빠르게 전환되었음을 시사한다. 요컨대 이러한 현상은 궁극적으로 기업들이 공간적으로 분산 집중화가 점차 가속화됨을 의미하며, 임차인 간 네트워크 요소를 중시 여기는 경향과도 밀접한 것으로 추측된다. 둘째, 규모별로 소형과 중형은 영향력 증감이 미미한 편이나, 대형은 영향력 증가가 뚜렷하게 관찰되어 대조적인 양상이 전개되었다. 특히 중소형은 도심권과 강남, 여의도권의 가격경사계수 영향력이 반비례가 성립되어 서로 경쟁관계인 것으로 드러났다. 즉 경제적 속성인 오피스 임대료 지표로 살펴본 도시공간구조는 권역 외 규모별로도 각기 다른 특색을 지닌 이질적인 하위시장이 여실히 존재함을 알 수 있다. 아마도 규모별 도시공간구조 변화 차이는 권역 간 투자매력도나 산업 경쟁구도, 임차인의 신용도 및 선호 특성에 상당 부분 기인한 것으로 해석된다. 결론적으로 「2030 서울도시기본계획」 상의 개편된 3대 핵심권역의 서울시 중심지 체계 및 위상과 정확히 일치할 뿐더러, 다수 선행연구들이 경험적으로 주장한 가설을 뒷받침한다고 말할 수 있다. 이로써 주택 외 오피스로 조사대상을 넓히고 임대시세로 다양한 인자의 모의적용을 시도한 수정반복매매모형은 도시공간구조의 시계열적인 변화를 파악하는데 효율적이고, 대안적 접근이 될 수 있는 가능성을 충분히 확인하였다. 나아가 본 연구결과는 시장참여자들이 급변하는 대내외 환경속에서 미래 서울시 도시공간구조를 탐색·예측하고 고용 중심지를 식별함으로써, 향후 바람직한 도시성장전략을 유도하는 계획구상 및 정책수립에 도움이 될 것이다.
