Study of the WTP Estimation for Introduction of Medium-sized Low Floor Electric Bus (중형 저상전기버스 도입에 따른 지불용의액 추정 연구)

  • Currently, the global climate change response paradigm has been changed to a universal response system in which all nations, not the developed countries, participate. Korea has also set a target of 25.9 million tons of transportation greenhouse gas reduction targets by 2030. Korean society is expected to enter the super aging society in 2026. In this study, to reduce the greenhouse gas emissions in public transport and to improve the convenience of transportation vulnerable, we estimate the willingness to pay(WTP) and social benefits assuming that the existing feeder buses are replaced with medium-sized low floor electric buses. To this end, survey was conducted on bus users in the metropolitan area and WTP was estimated by using contingent valuation method(CVM), which is one of the non-market value evaluation methods. As a result of estimation of WTP, the average WTP is 51.4 (won / time person), estimated the economic benefits were 50 million won on weekdays and 40 million won on weekends in Gyeonggi Province in 2014.

  • As moulds and dies are manufactured through complex processes under the make-to-order production environment, it is very difficult that the manufacturing activities as like observance of the due date, trace of the progress, etc are controlled with a real time. In this paper, a schedule-planning system using the commercial software Microsoft Project 98 is developed to control the procedures of mould and die manufacturing with real time. Once an initial schedule is planned from the BOM information in the intranet, it is rescheduled by data collected from machines on the shop floor. The system is suitable to medium- or small-sized manufacturing companies as well as large-sized ones, because it can be installed with a low cost.

  • A typical low and medium-sized neighborhood living facility in reinforced concrete building secures a high floor and pursues an efficient module plan(long span). Accordingly, research on the development of new hybrid beams that can innovatively reduce labor costs such as on-site installation and assembly while securing strength and rigidity is ongoing. In order to verify the structural performance of the U-flanged truss composite beam with newly developed shape, Experiments with various variables are required. Based on the results, this study is to evaluate the strength of U-flanged truss hybrid beam through the flexural strength of the Korea Design Code and experimental values. It was evaluated that nominal flexural strength was 110% to 135% higher than the experimental value.
